What are some head cannons you have for Country Branch? I loved the one you did for Classical Branch.

Amongst Country Trolls, most of his 'crazy preparedness' is seen as decent levelheadedness. At his worst he's comparable to the town eccentric who claims his cows can predict the future. Honestly homesteading comes with it's fair share of madness so he's really doing fine.

He doesn't have hooves and similar to Rock!Branch he needs protective gear so I like to imagine cowboy boots were invented for Branch! They might even have fake hooves (like Hickory wore) made for Branch so he feels like he fits in.

As a kid it was kind of like 'Bring your kid to work day' every day for him. He'd sit in the mayor's office and he organized stuff for Delta. He absolutely loves it.

Was jokingly named 'Branch Dusk' to match 'Delta Dawn' because he was her shadow since for years he mostly just followed her around, and he was kinda her opposite a bit.

He invented special crop coverings that helped stop harmful insects from eating their crops and help the soil retain water.

Candy isn't very common to the country clan, and there isn't a wide selection. Molasses or honey candies and licorice, along with candied fruit slices/peels. More common of a sweet would be baked goods like fruit pies, molasses cookies, jams and cakes. Not cakes like we know of, like vanilla or chocolate with icing. Look up 'composition cake' for an idea of what kind of cake they'd have! They also have ice cream, but it'd be more of a 'sweet cream' flavor, but maybe with fruit added! Branch is very fond of Country sweets, being considered to have an average sweet tooth amongst them. I like to think that most country trolls have trouble with Pop troll sweets, maybe even most other tribe sweets.

Branch loves canning, and he was already planning on learning about it. Canning is very serious business. Improperly canned food can kill you. Delta was very happy to see how seriously he took learning it, as kids attention spans can be... questionable. Most kids don't get to help with the actual canning process, helping out more with filling cans or prepping the vegetables/fruits.

One of his little body language quirks is he often grips his belt buckle when his hands are at rest.

He's sometimes frustrated by his lack of extra legs because the others can buck trees to help the fruit fall. He tried it and just hurt his foot and Delta Dawn was very clearly trying not to laugh while she iced his foot.

He doesn't notice that he gains a Country accent until he meets with Poppy and she points it out.

Holly Darlin thinks he's the cutest troll this side of the Kississippi.

He was really excited when his cousin Clampers was born. He helped Delta watch her egg and Clampers switches between his hair and hers. She likes how big Delta's hair is, but she sees Branch a bit like a big brother so he has that advantage.

Likes sitting on the porch in a rocking chair when it rains and looking at Delta and saying 'We needed that.'

Delta Dawn is both the Mayor and Sherriff, and Branch is her Deputy. Growley Pete is the jailer, but he's not very good at it. As Deputy he ends up having to deal with Hickory coming to turn in bounties.

Branch has not told his Ma that the bounty hunter who takes up most of the bounties flirts with him because the second he does there won't be any more bounty hunter who takes up most of the bounties.

He spent the bulk of his years out in the wild butttttt come winter time, hunting and foraging was harder and Rhonda didn't like the snow. ❄️

So once he was low in supplies, he would wander closer to civilization and stock up while he bothered interacted with the locals. 😬

He doesn't have any serious ex's, just women who tolerated his presence or brief 'swept off your feet' kinda romances.

John Dory is the reason Growley Pete, is so growley.

Why?

JD met his three beautiful daughters... and I imagine he's the kinda Papa Bear with a rifle. 😂

Delta Dawn indeed met John Dory... when he was arrested. He thought she was gorgeous, she thought he was cute in a dorky kinda way. He serenaded her from the inside of the jail cell, she called it whining.

They exchanged some intense flirting, but it never really developed beyond that. He now calls her the one that got away.

When they meet again later on through Branch, she's like "Ohhh god how're you still alive? Thought you woulda caused some critter an upset stomach by now!"

The first child of Delta Dawn and second youngest of Delta and Barb. Sweet, kind, if not a big soft-spoken and shy, Honeysuckle's approachable demeanor makes her very popular.

Honeysuckle's other biological parent is unknown. Delta Dawn had a fling with an unnamed Troll, which resulted in an egg being left on her doorstep. Realizing it was hers, and this lover was running out on them, Delta cursed their name and scooped up the egg to raise as her own, naming her Honeysuckle, after her favorite flower.

Honeysuckle owns and operates her own cafe, selling coffee and various breakfast goods. She loves the morning time and is a bit of a coffee connoisseur (fancy word for caffeine addict lol). Trolls can also sign up to perform at her cafes in the morning.

When she's not working, Honeysuckle can be seen hanging out with Miles, talking about the latest happenings and crying over their respective crushes. The two are disaster gays and find solace in each other's company.

Honeysuckle is a Country troll down to her core, with some Pop splashed in for fun. She can often be found in local parks or community centers performing, strumming her acoustic guitar and singing about love (girl is a helpless romantic).

Honeysuckle is very close with her family, especially her elder brother. The two grew up together, even before their mothers got together.

Honeysuckle currently resides in Lonesome Flats, but can often be seen in Tumbleshred visiting family.

Fun Facts!

- Honeysuckle has the biggest crush on Rosebud. Like, someone help this poor girl she's in deep. One night when Rosebud had a bad bounty encounter, she burst into Honeysuckle's cafe after hours, banged up and covered in blood. Honeysuckle patched her up, and as they talked, found hersekf falling head over hooves for her.

- Honeysuckle is a hardcore caffeine addict. If she doesn't have regular intakes of coffee, she gets massive headaches and she can get MEAN. Don't talk to her before her morning coffee or she'll bite you.

- Honeysuckle was trained by Growley Pete how to use her tail as a lasso. Outlaws come through Lonesome Flats more often then they'd like, so occasionally, Honeysuckle has to wrangle them up and toss them in jail

- Chompers is Honeysuckle's favorite cousin. She's practically an older sister to her.

And that's Honeysuckle!! Sweet girl, she's bby. Like Thrash Jr., I designed her before I started shipping Delta and Barb. I never designed her other parent jdxndhd (which is why she kinda looks like a Delta clone)

Switcheroo Brainstorming

I'm making an role reversal au! I'm going to post this along with my posts for Viva, Poppy, and Branch specifically, which you can find by clicking on their names! Here's some ideas I have:

So Branch and Poppy are basically going to be full-on switching lines, though their backstories will be very different cause... it's kinda hard to replace 4 people with 1 sister and a father. So band together is going to be the most different! More details in the individual posts for the characters

I want "Better Place" to be replaced with "It Takes Two" for the final confrontation in TBT :)

Not all characters are going to be switch 1-to-1. Again, the brothers are going to be hard to switch for. Also, not all characters readily have someone to replace them with

There will be a lot of trollstopia characters that will be in the world tour switch, but they'll mostly have the personalities of the trolls they switch with so watching the show isn't a must (But i still recommend both shows, they're pretty fun!)

Most of the troll tribe leaders will be replaced with a trollstopia character, EXCEPT for Queen Essence and King Quincy cause I need them to be in those roles. They'll just change lines and outfits maybe?

I have no idea what to do with the bounty hunters so if you have a recommendation id love to hear it!

For the techno trolls it's going to be a triangle. Laguna-> Trollex -> Synth -> Laguna. The reason for this is changing Trollex and Synth would be too similar, and would leave Laguna with no one (Except for Bliss Marina)

The other BroZone members don't really have counterparts. Clay and Bruce stay mostly the same while Floyd joins the rock trolls.

There was one socmed au that was funny but they're suspended now. Other than that I can't think of a single trolls au that doesn't seem to go out of ots way to shelf the girls. I get it if the guys happen to be your fave characters but if youre giving deltas role to growley Pete I think you should examine why that is

BroZone's Back, Alright! Ch 7 is up everyone! It's a shorter chapter but I hope you all enjoy!

Meet Delgado!

This is Delgado :)) He is a character who I have been developing with the amazing @the-bisexual-small-potato

Potato has the drawing for his darling daughter, Mariposa :)

Here is a small backstory about him made by said Potato

Backstory:

His name is Delgado and he has a daughter named Mariposa

Before he had Mari he was a mix of Tejano and Duranguense troll in TL or Tierra Latinx But post TWT

He had Mariposa and moved to the Tejano trolls

Their he was a party guy and had friends a Tejano troll named Monica and her husband Ricardo

Everything was fine till...

A terrible tragedy happened..

One night as Delgado was coming out of a bar, too drunk to stop them in time

Snake bandits killed his friend Monica 😔 along with her husband

The snake bandit in charge saw Delgado and realized their was a witness so ordered their group to go after him

Delgado got away, grabbed his daughter and just kept running

They soon found themselves at lonesome flats

He met Delta their who helped him get settled and told him him and his daughter would be safe their

And she was right

Delgado was hurt, he loved that couple so very much......he fell in love with them you could say..

But..he had to move on and stay strong for the sake of his daughter

And life went it on, he continued to be a careless party guy, go to bars at night and let loose

But he was never a careless father

He loved his daughter so very much, she was his rock, his gem his everything

Nothing could separate the two

After days and nights of partying he would always come back and spend all the time he had with Mari

Doing her hair and her doing his hair back

Every time he did leave he left a babysitter to watch over her.

Everything was fine

Till one night he came home and saw the placed trashed, furniture broken and glass shattered

The babysitter and his daughter

Gone

In a panic he looked everywhere screaming for his child and the babysitter

Soon he found the town together talking to the babysitter who was crying

“Delgado!”

She screamed through her tears

“I’m sorry! I’m so so sorry! I-I had no choice! T-they-“

Delta calmed the woman down enough for her to speak clearly through her stuttering

Delgado desperately asked her where his daughter was and she admitted

*She gave her to the Snake bandits.....*

Delgado felt as if his entire world shattered, he felt sick and legs weak

He almost fainted or did if it wasn’t for the other country trolls quickly holding him up

As they where getting more information from the babysitter Growley Pete came in fast with a letter from the bandits

Demanding Delta give them her land in exchange for the child

Delta knew the answer but Delgado gave her his word

She’s done so much for him and now it’s time for him to return the favor

From that day on he became a bounty hunter

Hunting down the snake trolls one by one till he finds the one in charge

But once he does.....

He finds the biggest reveal of his life...

Because peeps on my dash are hooked on the Deltadi ship and have got me hooked too, here's a basic outline of how Delta Dawn and Dickory got together in the Gumdrop AU! It also calls back to my other Trolls headcanon posts so you might wanna read those before this one. Putting under the cut because this is looooong!

All his life, Dickory had been told that one day he’ll meet that special someone, he’ll experience certain feelings, of love and intimacy. But Dickory just...never felt it. He felt love for his family but romance? Sexual feelings? It never came to him. During his teenage years, he did feel like he was broken. He felt pressured to start his first relationship, telling himself feelings would come. It...did not end well. In fact, you could say it made him feel more broken than ever.

But then the avalanche happened. Due to the mass loss of yodellers, many of the young adults were pressured to marry and have children quickly to increase numbers and save their culture. In fact, it became a new tradition for yodellers to marry as soon as they turned 18. The only one to refuse this was an 18-year-old Dickory. He may have been shunned a little for his decision (which made him feel worse about his lack of sexuality) but he honestly didn’t have time to think about that anymore. His was still a kid who parents literally just died with a baby brother left behind to take care of. He had no time for marriage, he’d say to the other yodellers. His brother needed him and that is totally the only reason why he couldn’t marry. Throughout his life, Dickory would continue to feel stress and sadness, not knowing about being ace/aro and still believing there was something wrong with him. But at least he has Hickory and his new bounty hunting job to distract him.

Anyway, TWT happened and as soon as Delta found out that Hickory was really two trolls disguised as one country troll imposing on her beloved town, she had them arrested and put on community service for a unspecified amount of time. So she and Dickory did not have the best start in the slightest.

Hickory was soon made to do a report on Pop Trolls and left for Pop Village (and thus beginning his own romance with Poppy and Branch but that’s another story). Dickory was made to stay and do humiliating duties (like clean up after the livestock) while enduring the mockery of the locals and the ridiculously high heat. The only good/kind of less worse thing he saw in this was the fact that Delta’s niece, Clampers, was strangely drawn to him. She would nag and ask him questions about why he has two legs, what are those stumpy things on your hooves and can I bite them? Annoyed initially, he soon warmed up to her as she reminded him of Hickory when he was a child. Their friendship reached a point where they even started playing together. Delta witnessed this one day and maybe, just maybe, her heart may have melted. But only a little.

One day, after a restless sleep, Dickory decided to take a walk about town in the early hours of the morning. His was surprised when his keen ears picked up on a faint, mournful song from the cemetery. He found Delta singing with tears in her eyes to the grave of her sister. After awkward small talk, they both open up about the loved ones they've lost and how it changed them. They found their experiences to be remarkably similar (Delta lost her sister in a mining accident and was left to raise her daughter) and from that point on, they began to grow closer.

Over the next several weeks, Dickory began to actually care about the Lonesome Flats community and his service became a lot more voluntary and a lot less punishing. He would help the elderly, fix up anything that needed fixing, even learned how to herd up the livestock (although his first attempt was a complete hilarious disaster that Growley Pete just loves to tease him about). The locals soon began to think of him as one of their own and gained their respect, in turn gaining Delta's trust.

Delta and Dickory's friendship grew in that time too. In the beginning, she would order him to do certain task or else she would make him do something much more humiliating which used to tick him off. Now, she would ask him or else she would 'threaten' him to make him clean out Growley Pete's hooves, which he would respond with a sarcastic comment with a smile. They were pretty much very buddy-buddy. But the locals weren't blind to the underlying romantic tension between them.

Delta absolutely knew she was having romantic feelings for Dickory but she was at first hesitant. Country trolls are the type to take romance on head first and confidently but she was afraid of scaring him off so decided to bide her time for the right moment. Not exactly made easy when her parents totally shipped them and would try everything in their power to embarrass Delta enough into confessing.

Dickory, on the other hand, didn't know what to feel. Sure, he liked Delta now but she was just a good friend to have a drink and a laugh with, throw sarcastic comments at, arm wrestle with, share personal and past trauma history with, stare at and wish to touch her stupid big beautiful hair, want to hold close to-uh oh!

Suddenly it was like he was a teenager again but this time it was different. He liked her but it can't be THAT kind of love. It didn't exist for him, remember? He couldn't feel that love for anyone because he never did and it would never happen. She's a friend you care a lot about and that's it. Besides, even if there were feelings (which there weren't), it would be best if nothing happened because come on, she would never want someone who didn't like...well, y'know.

Basically, Dickory's in denial pretty hard.

Anyhow, the country trolls have a pretty big shindig one evening where there's plenty of dancing, laughing, drinking and fun. Both Delta and Dickory were having a great time but just as buddies, right? 

However, at one point in the early hours of the morning, they found themselves alone together and Delta, in a drunken stupor with all logic thrown out the window, confesses and boldly kisses Dickory. And then she passed out.

In the days following, things were very awkward. Delta remembered the kiss and was horribly embarrassed for being so careless. She decided it was best if they actually sat down and talked about it like adults. Only problem? Dickory was now deliberately avoiding Delta. He didn't want to ruin the friendship they already had but he also didn't want to have the conversation he knew was inevitably coming.

Finally, a frustrated Delta decided to f this and confront Dickory head on. A huge argument blew up between them (which temporarily cleared out the town) which culminated to Delta demanding to know why he doesn't want to be with her and Dickory yells back 'BECAUSE I'M BROKEN, DAMMIT!'

Silence.

After the shock, the pair of them calm down enough for Delta to gently encourage him to explain further. Dickory shakily and tearfully admits his unresolved negative feelings about his asexuality, the yodellers pressure on him to marry, how much its affected him and how wrong he's truly felt all these years and yet he somehow has feelings for Delta that he doesn't understand and how he can't be the man she wants him to be or give her what she would ultimately want.

Shocked, Delta tells him that she's sorry she ever made him feel this way but she only wants Dickory to be himself and if being himself means that he can't give her certain things then that's okay because she loves him just as he is.

But Dickory, still confused, emotional and a stubborn old goat, decides this is the best time to run off and return home.

Heartbroken, Delta writes to Hickory that his community service is up and he is free to return to his home. She tries her best to continue her duties as mayor but everyone can tell she greatly misses Dickory.

When the brothers reunite back to their homes, they also try to move on as normal but both of them have a lot to think about in terms of the things they went through recently (again, Hickory had his own romantic shenanigans going on as well). One night, the two of them talk about what they went up to in the past weeks and realise that the other has experienced love and are too stubborn to admit it. They even have a big sibling argument about it. I mean whose dumb enough to not look past their own insecurities and see that they are loved and they love them back and they shouldn't let the past hold them down in finding happiness and - oh, I see what's happening here!

Anyway, its agreed upon that Hickory and Dickory should return to Lonesome Flats and Pop Village to confess their feelings to their respective loved ones and not see each other until they do or someone's ass is getting beat (y'know, normal sibling pact stuff).

So

In true spaghetti western style, Dickory returns to Lonesome Flats. He stares Delta down from one side of town to the other, locals watching with baited breath. He yells to Delta for the whole town to hear, that he was an idiot for running away and that he wasn't sure how they were going to figure things out in the future. But he's here now, he's not running away anymore and he loves her too.

Delta, without saying a word, storms up to Dickory, picks up up from under the arms and gives him a great, big, long overdue smooch to the cheers of the townsfolk and the cries of 'FINALLY' from her parents and niece (meanwhile, Growley Pete starts collecting bets).

Anyhow, Dickory moves to Lonesome Flats, eventually marries Delta, adopts Clampers as his niece, is fully content with being demiromtic/asexual, yada yada, happy ending, mwah! (I am a master of storytelling)

This chase scene is actually pretty good than the first trailer! But compared to the previous scene we’ve seen in 2019, this is more longer and exciting! 😁

I've watched Trolls World Tour in HBO again and managed to record the "Next" ident. Unlike the same ident in the Disney Channel airing of the original Trolls movie, there was no narration during this sadly and the text below is too simple and boring than Disney Channel's more cheerful version.

This is what the ident looks like; it depicted a short snippet of the Country Trolls chasing Poppy, Branch, Biggie and Hickory.

And...I still feel sorry for poor Branch at the end. 🥺💙
