once upon a time, there was a class--

wait, wrong universe. this isn't a fairy tale.

what happens when your high school years are devastated by war, villain attacks and everything in between? you get stuck having to work even harder than past generations. that’s what happened to the generation of izuku midoriya. upon graduation, it was decided that the class could benefit from some extra time under supervision. some students agreed, some threw a fit for the ages, but ultimately the new graduates entered their WORK COLLEGE YEAR. they need to finish 365 days of hero work (days off included, we aren't monsters!), at least 10 sole-rescue missions or villain take downs before acquiring a permit to join a pro-hero agency without supervision OR open their own.

All muses are above the age of 18, and you have to be too in order to be a part of this server.

We are very OC friendly, but we do reserve the right to say no if we feel like your original would not fit in. That being said, you do have to provide a bio of your OC and an explanation of how they fit into this story!

NSFW and canon typical dark themes will be present.

Keep in mind that mun =/= muse, so just because you know about Izuku's OFA or Shouto's tragic family life, that doesn't mean your muse is aware of it.

We ask that you pick a character you will actually write. Loving a character is not the same as having an actual writing muse for them. While it is not expected for you to be on every day, a few times a week is recommended.

Cirque du Souls is a Discord/Tumblr group verse. It follows the mystery of the ill-fated Circus of the Macabre, and how those of Madame Caligari’s Carnival of Curiosities deal with the hell they’ve unleashed.

Premise: In 1892 The Circus of the Macabre set up their tents for the last time after a tragic fire. The flames consumed every soul within that night. Present-day Madame Caligari inherited a mysterious old trunk connected with The Circus of the Macabre. When opened it unleashed a curse. Now stalked by the damned souls of The Circus of the Macabre, the performers must race to figure out the truth behind the curse and the past in order to survive.

Rules: 001. No Drama ooc. IC drama is fine, in fact we encourage it. 002. Any major plots/sub plots have to be run by the admin team first, if we see something that we deem to be a major plot we may come to you to discuss to see if it fits in with our overall group! (Aka pregnancies, marriages, possessions, death, anything that could interfere with the over arching plot. etc.)  003. You are allowed to have 4 characters.  004. This is a mature group, 21+. No minors allowed. 005. Include everyone! Don’t exclude people because you don’t like their character, etc. 006. OCs are welcomed and encouraged! 007. Duplicate fcs are allowed if the first person to take the fc agree to it. 008. You can write all nsfw (violence, sex, blood what have you) - as long as you do it in a spoiler tag.  009. PLEASE put all triggers you have in triggers. Rping triggering topics is allowed - as this is a horror roleplay. Threads that involve triggering topics should have TW: (whatever the trigger is) in the TITLE of the thread- so people know  to avoid it. Also put especially descriptive triggers in a spoiler tag. The biggest secret of the upside down is if the upside down takes you, you end up in the world of Dungeons&Dragons. Once there, they are already placed in a role they had no choice in based on the life they led in the real world. So now we find our favorite babysitters club in a magical world that they may want to escape from or may engulf them in a life they truly wanted.

The headlock, frankly, should have been expected. It was certainly sobering… well, somewhat sobering. Once it became clear that Billy didn’t actually intend to harm him, only detain him, Eddie let out a scoff. A blow from a ring adorned fist would probably do some damage, but… that wasn’t his intent. How did he get out of the hold without hurting Billy? Or hurting himself? That was the real question.

Billy was clearly the stronger between the two - but perhaps lean muscle gave him an advantage in this instance. Maybe with his lanky frame, he could slip out of this. Like an eel. Or. Something. Wriggling feebly, he tried to slip out of his jacket - his arms and shoulders got free, but his neck did not. “…uncle? I could fight dirty. That’s usually what I do when I can’t talk my way out of a scrap - kick ‘em in the balls and run away. That doesn’t seem like a very good option in this scenario. I imagine I’d only make things worse for myself.”

.·:*¨ ✘♚✘ ¨*:·.  The kiss was entirely unexpected, but Billy knew that when it came to Eddie, one could only expected the unexpected. He could smell the beer wafting off of the brunette, making the blond smirk in amusement. It was easier to focus on that than the words that the other man had spoken. No one in Billy's entire life had said they were proud of him. And yet it took a drunk metalhead at a Christmas party to admit it? Of course Eddie was more than that. He was a friend. But the whole situation was almost too weird for Billy to handle. So he did what he did best: he deflected.

A hand shot out, grabbing the back of Eddie's neck to hold him in place. "Since you want to be all touchy feely, Munson, let me show you something to actually be proud of. This move won me a state title in ninth grade." Then, without warning, he pulled the other into a wrestling headlock, grinning wildly at the horseplay. "COME ON, MUNSON! SHOW ME WHAT YOU GOT! ESCAPE THIS!"

I can just imagine the bit of surprise feeling how genuine Dear’s patience and empathy towards others is. I’m sure he’s sensed it before as he’d mentioned, but to experience it is very warming. Understanding then where Lasko’s coming from all those times he’s went on about how comforting he feels having someone give him the chance to find his footing and ease his nerves 🥹

The way he actually mentioned his little fling with Lasko and how he’s been basically treading on ice because he didn’t where they might’ve stood with him for it 😭

I just know Dear was more intrigued than anything akdjakdks I like to think their lil conversation after the video was followed up with “So..a 7-11, huh?” and that’s kinda what I was tryna capture here, Gavin feeling more comfortable to talk freely with them. Spilling tea over shared fries is the best way to bond~

Recently I saw a few posts that really re-wired the way I thought about Alfred. Initially, I had given him a large group of friends, but even looking back on a few of my older posts (Alfred being touch starved is one of the main ones - note that I've already edited this to take out prev. mentions of him having a large group of friends, though the rest of the reply is the same.) it really did feel like I was writing an Alfred who is incredibly lonely.

This led me to thinking about my headcanon about Kiku's unrequited love for Alfred. I'd always thought about it as 'being in love with your best friend, but not wanting to change the relationship you have with them', but now I keep thinking of Kiku deciding to distance himself from this person he loves so dearly because he knows they don't feel the same. He spends more time with Italy and Germany, with England, with Taiwan. He makes excuses to stop going over to Alfred's, and to stop Alfred from coming over to his.

He does it to protect himself, and then he realises one day that he and Alfred are no longer friends. It's been fifty years since they've been alone in a room together, and Alfred's confused hurt has transformed into polite indifference. They've gone from being as close as best friends to nothing.

Kiku regrets it, and he realises, horribly, that not seeing Alfred doesn't make him not in love with him. It just makes him miss him on top of that. He's made a mistake he can't fix.

Meanwhile, Alfred doesn't have an Italy or Germany. He's always been alone until Kiku came along, and then all of a sudden he doesn't have him anymore.

Alfred gets used to being alone again. He has an instagram filled with his travels around America and the rest of the world, and his follower count goes up and up as his beautiful photography gets traction around the internet, but people comment on him always being alone. "I hope you're being careful traveling alone, Allie!" a comment reads. "Aww, don't worry," he replies back. "I'm used to it!"
