with this new version of bluza that we got, i feel like i have to talk about the lyric "da se nagledam lepote te" (and also maybe the entirety of the last verse bc it drives me crazy)

for starters, it is such a romantic lyric i CANNOT get over it

no english translation can do it justice, the closest i can think of off the top of my head is "so i can soak up that beauty", but even that's not quite right

nagledati is a very specific type of verb (idk what the actual name for it would be cause i don't think it's a svršeni verb?? could be wrong idk grammar was never my strong suit)

it comes from the verb gledati (to look) and the prefix na-

the prefix na- gives it a sort of full quality. najesti (na- + jesti (to eat)) would mean that you've eaten so much that you're now full and can't eat anymore. nahodati (na- + hodati (to walk)) would mean that you've walked so much that you're now tired and can't walk anymore etc etc.

now, nagledati, in the context of looking at the person you're in love with, specifically their beauty AND the additional context that you're going to have to be away from them, for an undetermined amount of time?

looking at your lover so closely and so focused, so you can remember their every wrinkle, every blemish, every freckle, every twinkle in their eyes as they stare at you with the same love you feel for them, just in case you start to miss them, because you know you will, your heart would never let you fool yourself into thinking otherwise?

as i've stated earlier, this whole ending verse just trips me up so bad, in the best way possible

it's so tragically romantic that it makes my heart break.

one thing i noticed here though, are the lyrics "ne palite još svetla" and "spasite me, smislite neki plan" mostly because they're in plural

now, i think it's probably just because that's the closest serbian has to gender neutral pronouns*, but i also think it's interesting to think of bojan, as the "protagonist" of the song, pleading the world to stop so he could get more time with his lover, a moment of selfishness

and the way the rest of the song sets up this almost domestic feeling "soba nam je mala"/"our room is small", which could also be translated to "the room is too small for us" as in "this room is far too small for our love, to handle us"

and i just... how can you not love this song...

additional notes:

* i'm an idiot, i just remembered that singular imperative exists and is also gender neutral so the lyric could have been "spasi me, smisli neki plan" but it's not so the whole protagonist talking to the world stuff might have been the intended purpose

Okay I talk a little bit my CBS + CPS rewrite

CPS is a member of a cult of angels who believe the world as it's known is doomed. Heaven in its entirety is a bit of a struggling thing due to how evil freaks are by nature, and hell is a much more threatening force.

Pure Spy's goal is to summon Nightmare Medic to wipe every freak off the globe and allow things to start anew, he doesn't understand the entirety of what he's doing.

Karma Soldier and Pure Spy are siblings, KS is the younger and WAS unaware of the shit Pure Spy was doing

Pure Spy lost his wings due to a GRN Sniper, after he tried to kill another angel. He's a fallen angel because of this.

Brutal Sniper gets some hereditary shit going on. Everything that happened to him happened because of a demon's intrusion. Hes not doing the best.

Works with Pure Spy after Pure Spy revealed the truth of what DeGroot had done to him. He doesn't understand everything they're doing, as Pure Spy's refusing to explain it to him, but all he knows is he's getting revenge.

Gentlespy is the RED spy that followed him initially, she has BPD and is just bad mentally which led her to following Brutal down a similar path.

Perceived Brutal as having "abandoned her" due to the fact he disappeared entirely with Pure Spy. Is desperate to get back at him

🩷How to paci pt. 1🩷

°×~.This post will be all about purchasing pacis, how to do it, how to pick the right kind, recommendations for shops, tips on what to look out for and terminology.~×°

Step 1. Terminology

Paci- adult pacifier. Teet- the mouthpiece

Centerpiece- a charm or image on the button of the pacifier

Gen 1/2 etc.- refers to the shape of the paci

Base- used with deco pacis to refer to kind of paci that will be decorated

Custom- a decorated pacifier made just for you

Deco level- how heavily the pacifier will be decorated

2. How to pick the right kind

°×~.There are lots of things to watch out for when choosing your pacifier, from shape to color to mouthpiece and brand. I explained all of the common ones here.~×°

Gen 1- these pacis are the ones you can see on top in the image with terminology, they have a comfortable sensory input and are the most common shape, you can get them almost anywhere and they are often the cheapest option, they can come in lots of colors and with a lot of teets

Gen 2- these pacifiers look a little like bones, and come in quite a few colors but not as many as gen 1 and they come exclusively with the clear teets

Gen 3- these pacifiers look a lot like classic mam pacifiers and come in quite a few colors but they are only sold by little for big which makes me recommend not to purchase them as to not support this brand

Bear bases- these bear shaped bases from land of genie are adorable, they have a great sensory input just like the others and come with a clear teet but only a selection of colors, plus they are very accessible as they can be found on Amazon

Butterfly bases- these bases are similar to hen 1 pacia but the little holes at the top of the shield resemble fairy/butterfly wings, they are also from land of genie and come with a clear teet

Moon bases- these bases from land of genie are some of my favorites, they come with a clear teet and resemble gen 3 bases but with a handle

Baby your doll bases- these round vintage looking bases are beautiful and come with a long beige silicone teet, they are exclusively sold by baby your doll and really comfortable

Silicone bear paci- this is a full silicone paco sold by baby your doll which comes in a few colors, has the same length mouth piece as the round ones and the "shield" part resembles bear

Round bases- these bases are the dupe version of the baby your doll pacifiers and visually very similar for the small detail of having 3 holes except 4 and some plastic dots on the handle, they also come with a different teet which is a lot shorter than the usual one

Smile pop bases- these bases look a little like a version of the gen 1 if it was drawn from memory and is super cute and very comfortable, they can be bought from smile pop or over resellers and come with a clear teet in a range of colors

No handle bases- these bases are sold by the same company as the smile pop bases and the same resellers, they come in the same colors and with a clear teet, they have a very unique shape and are very comfortable

Heart hole bases- these pacis look similar to grn 1 bases with a bigger button and heart shaped holes, they are very cute and comfortable and come with a clear teet which is different in shape to the normal clear ones, it doesn't deflate in these bases and is longer, they come in a range of colors and are sold by cutie plus you

Butterfly bases 2- these bases look like very classic baby pacifiers sized up, I have yet to try them but they come with lots of colors and prints and are very pretty and come with the same teet

Small shield bases 1- these bases resemble classic baby pacifiers in shape and size and come with a clear adult teet in lots of colors, they are comfortable and cute

Small shield bases 2- these bases look like classic baby pacifiers in shape and size, come in a range of colors and with a clear teet, some of them even have a print, you can get them on things like AliExpress and over resellers

Full silicone pacis- lil comforts sell full silicone pacis in two shapes and lots of colors, they are very pretty but u have yet to try them I do hear they are great for chewing

3. How to order a deco paci

°×~.Ordering a paci or other item can be overwhelming and scary so here is a small guide to walk you through the process.~×°

Step one- find a shop you like the style of, that has good reviews and the center pieces you like

Step two- message the shop about the pacifier you would like to purchase, if you want a custom make sure they are currently open for those kind of orders

Step three- now you and the seller will discuss details like shipping price, payment options and details if you are ordering a custom

Step four- now it's time to be patient, most shops are a small business so it may take some time to complete and/or ship out your order, it's okay to ask if you have waited longer than they said but be respectful, they are a person too

Step five- open up your package and enjoy, don't forget to leave a review and let the seller know you received your item

4. What to watch out for

°×~.when picking the shop you want to buy from you have to be careful about a few things, here is a list of important stuff to look out for. Don't be shy to ask people for their experience.~×°

Does the shop have good reviews?

Can you find photos of customers with their items?

Do you know someone who worked with the shop before, what was their experience?

In my billford feels on this fine day, so let me rant a bit

Ford was possibly the closest Bill has gotten to relating to someone in EONS, so of course he opened up to him about his home, of course there is some sentimentality, and of COURSE Bill was heartbroken when Ford didn't want to finish the portal.

Bill's had plenty of failures before, this should've been just another in a long line, but no. Bill went ahead and got himself attached to a human.

Not necessarily romantically, but he does care a lot more about Ford than he let on. And it's all because he sees a bit of himself in him.

He sees the kid who was cradled by his parents while they assured him that they would keep him safe and that they'll love him no matter what.

He sees the stubborn child who refused to learn how to tie shoelaces and wore velcro for sixteen years.

And he also sees a man who is willing to let go of, and maybe even dispose of, people who stand his way. Or at least that's what Bill saw.

But there was a part of Ford that Bill didn't really take into account: humanity. That was what set Bill and Ford apart.

Bill is a "needy ex who can't get over Ford" because OF COURSE HE IS.

Would *you* ever get over finding someone who finally somewhat gets you? You do the thing you do best - manipulating people - but there's something at the back of your mind that makes you, despite everything you know, still foolishly believe that you two can work together, as equals, as partners. That they will, without a second thought, grab your hand and vow to fight to stay by your side?

But in the end, you just got your heart broken again, and you know that you're the only one to blame here.

Where Ford is ashamed of himself for letting himself be manipulated, Bill is ashamed because he let himself get attached, for the slightest chance of keeping Ford by his side.

Because deep down, he knew. With his Ciphervoyance, surely he saw a timeline where Ford agrees to stay with him, and there was a twisted sensation inside of him that hoped that would happen in this timeline too.

It's why he goes to O'Sadley's for I'm Fine Juice and breaks down at Interdimensional Taco Bell when he's told that he can't get Sixer.

Because that's exactly what's been ringing in his head ever since Ford's betrayal. To Bill (though he will never admit it out loud), Ford will always be the one that got away.

Oh! As if the betrayal wasn't enough, the time he almost dies, it's by the hands of Stanley (and technically Ford, but y'know).

The fact that Stan was the one to kill him was an enormous blow to Bill's ego.

So much so that he goes on a whole rant how Stan's the lesser twin and "he shouldn't be allowed to wear a suit and tie."

What's really interesting though, is how through cursing Stan, he praises Ford.

Ford's the "better genetic duplicate", Stan is just "a carbon copy of Sixer."

Let's face it, if Bill almost-died by Ford's hands, he wouldn't have complained nearly as much (still would have complained, though).

I mean dude, don't you think this is a bit much for a guy you basically only know as "my ex's annoying brother"?
