The summer I got Covid and watched Seasons 3-5 of Supernatural in a of couple weeks

Now that it's done⁸

Cas did so so so much in the name of Dean Winchester. He tried so hard to protect him and care for him over and over and over again. Even when he failed, he did everything to fix it and Dean STILL BLAMED HIM for SO MANY of his mistakes. I understand that Dean was mad and sometimes for good reason but he rarely told Cas that he only hated his mistakes and that he didn't hate Cas as a person (or angel haha). Cas says that he's "failed" Dean and you can see how much it hurts him and how guilty he feels. All Cas does is care and love him so much and gives everyone he cares for everything he can, right until the end. He gave up his life as an Angel and soldier of Heaven to be with and protect Dean and Sam and he gets little thanks or acknowledgement for it. But even after all of that. He is still truly happy just by expressing his love for Dean (!!!!) He's so loyal and caring and just made to love unconditionally... poor thing :(
