The raptor purred in response to Jekia nuzzling against him, feeling their smooth skin against his own, while he closed his eyes enjoying the feel. While the smell of cream invaded his nostrils calming the velociraptor grimm down while he felt Jek’s tail flick against the bottom of his neck. Then noticing the tail being risen higher than normal.....

Outsiders eyes widened with shock....and swallowed a bit.....

class was fine. we watched a bunch of short films one had georgie it 2017 in it. also you would not believe how hard it is to talk to this professor. i can’t even describe the interaction we had as i was leaving because it would look so normal on paper but in real life she’s so awkward to speak to christ alive. and now i’m sitting in my car (american moment!) reflecting. also i’m so excited because i don’t really have homework to do tonight so i can just hang out with richard!!! it’s incredible how much i care about richard now if you’d told me i’d be like this when i started the book i would have never believed you. i’m gonna fall into a deep depression when i finish this book and can’t hang with him anymore.

Hello! I don't have any new words to share from Basil Pitch's Diary, but thought I'd share the BPD plot timeline that lives over my desk. Here it is, redacted but for one spoiler.

I just needed to physically move things around to grasp what could / should go when. When I finish writing an event, the paper slip comes down. (It's not to scale in terms of chronology--this started about halfway through the story.) At this point I've changed a lot and it's out of date but I've kept it up for inspiration. He rips off a piece of napkin and scribbles down an address, sliding it across the table to me with a grace I previously thought this country lacked.

I glance at it once, taking in the numbers and letters that promise something I won’t find in any museum. Then, I fold it and place it in my wallet. Saved like a ticket with admission for one. Perhaps more. I’m still not settled on the intent of his offer but I mirror his energy on the off chance the cues are meant to skew amorous. I mean no harm. He doesn’t either.

“What name should I give at the door?”

My voice is sleek, suave, and masterfully soigné. Learned from shadowy tête-à-têtes with poor forgotten Pierres. Men who reminded me nothing of Simons or Cadwalladers or Snows. Who didn’t ask anything of me like a Charles but didn’t endanger me like the ones who came before.

I must be rusty. This man smiles like he holds all the cards.

He smiles, though, when Simon kicks at his foot, then brushes away a strand of hair from Simon’s face. I almost can’t believe what I’m seeing—it must be an act. The question would be why—why is Natasha Grimm-Pitch’s son feigning puppy love over the Chosen One like this? Surely this marriage has shaken his family to the core. Malcom Grimm and Natasha’s snarling feral merwolf of a sister have just finished insisting as much in their campaign against the match.

Simon moves in closer as they turn to make their way down the sidewalk, and then Basilton’s hand glides up to rest in the small of Simon’s back, as if to gently guide him. They’re looking at each other instead of where they’re walking, and a sudden cold, ill feeling takes hold in my gut.

||Weapons and Gear||:

Dust Driver Prototype: In conjunction with the Ankh Company's Variable Dust Weave technology, the Ankh Company's Dust Driver channels the elemental energy of the inserted dust canister through dedicated Variable Dust Weave Relays and Armor, capable of imparting its energy through projectile and physical strikes. It is set to standby upon contact with compatible Variable Dust Weave Armor and with compatible dust cartridge inserted. Initial activation by pressing the activation slider on the side of the Dust Driver will set it into "Duster Mode" outputting a low and steady flow of energy from attached dust cartridge. Second press of activation slider will set it into "Buster Mode" and will increase dust energy output. Prototype can only maintain mode for a minute maximum. Third Press of activation slider will set into "Finale Mode". Energy flow rate is set to maximum possible rate without consequence of Dust Driver entering Critical Failure state, requiring a reboot. Often tested as a finishing move, and uses up to half of the canister's dust.

Graviton Buster: A sawn off shot gun that takes rear loaded dust cartridges, standard load out of hard light dust. The front holds a detachable blade that can attach to the front hook of the barrel.

Dust Book: A dedicated portable holder in the style of a book, designed to contain and carry 16 dust cartridges compatible with the Ankh Company's Dust Driver and Graviton Buster.

||Bio||:

The case file on Keppel Kikryo-iru has largely been redacted, and Keppel personality is near perfectly reflective of it. He is quite secretive and stoic, and yet always soft with children. I am unsure if it is just around other adults, or just his distrust of me. I don't blame him after whatever my father did to him during his tenure as CEO, or his escape from the testing facility.

I am just lucky that I was able to find Keppel under my charge of the Ankh Company. There's a lot I don't know about him. And I wish I could've seen the original case file. But now that I've entered some form of collaborative effort with him, I hope I get to learn about him more, what makes him tick and what motivates him to safe people from the Grimm.

I will continue to monitor Keppel personally. After all, I must clean up the mess my father made while he took charge of the Variable Dust Weave experiments.
