PushSquare have learned (via Gematsu) that a trio of classic LucasArts adventures could be heading for the PlayStation 5, meaning Full Throttle Remastered, Day of the Tentacle Remastered and Grim Fandango Remastered could all enjoy another day in the sun after their 90's heyday. https://twitter.com/gematsu/status/1754532374061199428 We were fortunate enough to receive remasters of a trio of classic LucasArts point-and-click adventures on PS4, and it's now looking like they're being ported to PS5 too. Grim Fandango, Full Throttle, and Day of the Tentacle are all playable on Sony's previous console (and technically PS5 as well), but it seems the current-gen system will soon have native versions of its own. It's been 25 years since the release of Grim Fandango, part of a long run of smash hits through the 80's and 90's both critical and financial for LucasArts. Lucasfilm look back to this classic game which was, and still is, a true original. 25 years ago, Lucasfilm Games (at the time known as LucasArts) released one of its most iconic original titles. Grim Fandango was the newest entry in the company’s iconic line of point-and-click adventure games, but in a style, and with a story, all its own. The greatest travel agent in the land of the dead.💀 Manny is the main protagonist from the classic game Grim Fandango (GF), my favorite creation from the brilliant mind of Tim Schafer @doublefine studios. 🔥 GF is a real cult classic from the 90s. I remember watching some of it's cutscenes when I was a kid and they looked like the greatest graphics I'd ever seen hahah, nowadays they look more cardboardy, but the charm has remained. 🥰 I really wish Manny would get a second chance to be in the spotlight, either by the game getting a proper remake or a sequel some day, the world of Grim Fandango is super interesting, the cast of characters is great and a modern take on this world would be a dream come true for me ❤ I realy don't think Manny has many chances of joining the Smahs Bros roster, but I love this game and drawing this was a real treat for me 😊 #mannycalavera #grimfandango #timschafer #doublefine #ssmashbuddies https://www.instagram.com/p/CON7erbD7Xq/?igshid=wrn3mvau369g
