A flower girl who's part of a magical ancient race. Aerith is one of the main characters from the classic Final Fantasy VII , she's a funny,gentle and happy-go lucky girl who loves to help other people and can with the power of the elements. Recently after clearing FFVII remake part 1, I rediscovered just how cool she is and I was super impressed by the way her character got developed so well. You actually care a lot for her and knowing what I know of the plot, I couldn't help but feel sad from time to time just spending time with her. I'm super curious about what the future brings for Aerith in the next parts of the game. Morrigan Morrigan Aensland is a succubus and the main representative of the Darkstalkers fighting game series. Ever since I played the first Darkstalkers game on an arcade back in the 90's I've been in love with the series, specially their very unique roster of characters which to this day remains one of my favorite fighting game rosters of all time. All of the characters are based on horror,myths and legends and they're all so cool! When I was a kid, a lot of us had a crush on Morrigan hahahah, she's such a sexy and iconic character and her design is so cool. I've always felt that Capcom not reviving the series is a huge sin and a waste of a great set of characters. Morrigan is the most popular in the bunch, however all of them shine on their own and I'd love to see a return of the series with a visual upgrade ala DBZ Fighters if possible <3 With Morrigan being the most well known character from the series it makes sense that'd she'd be the first option to join a Smash game. Namco's long eared Dream Traveler! I've only played the original game in the ps1 a little bit but I've always liked Klonoa's design a lot! When I was young there used to be a show called Splat in Discovery Kids where they would show cutting edge CG stuff from the late 90's/ early 2000's and I remember being obsessed with that show. In one of the episodes they showed some animatic scenes from this game and I was in awe by how beautiful it looked <3 I don't really think that Klonoa has much of a chance of making it into Smash but you never know! Since Bandai Namco is working on smash they might be able to sneak a mii costume at least in x) ps. The greatest travel agent in the land of the dead.💀 Manny is the main protagonist from the classic game Grim Fandango (GF), my favorite creation from the brilliant mind of Tim Schafer @doublefine studios. 🔥 GF is a real cult classic from the 90s. I made a remake of my original Link drawing I made for the Smash Buddies series. It's been three years since I started working on the series and I've grown a lot since then. When I originally started I was going for something with a more cartoony feel to it, so the first batch of characters isn't as serious or detailed looking, however as the project moved along and I experimented with different styles it grew out of it's more comical roots and turned into a much more action focused series, always trying to draw the characters in cool poses representative of their smash movesets :) I'm very proud of all I've done with the series and for quite some time people reach out to me to ask for permission to use my drawings in their smash related content, and for some time I've felt that Link (and other characters) was in need of a visual update to mix better with the rest of the series (specially since he's a very popular character), so that's why I remade him and I'll probably do the same for some of the other characters that I feel could use a little update ^^ #link #tloz #zelda #nintendo #ssmashbuddies #jmarme https://www.instagram.com/p/CQbvbC4jssL/?utm_medium=tumblr

A cybernetic mercenary/ex special forces soldier from the Metal Gear series. Truth be told, I know NOTHING about Raiden, absolutely nothing. I've only played part of MGS5 so I don't know much about the Metal Gear series :o However, this guy's design is so badassss!!! I really think he could be a pretty good addition as a second MG representative in the roster and  even though he's an anime swordsman I wouldn't mind that much since he's so cool x) I did get to play the Playstation Allstars smash-like game where he's playable but that game isn't really that fun hahah. Isaac The Main protagonist from the Golden Sun series Truth be told I don't know much about Golden Sun. I remember starting the Game Boy Advance game long ago and being impressed by the graphics and I loved the design for the Djinns (They're all so adorable), but if Isaac has remained such a highly requested character for such a long time it must be because the game's good x) Overall I really like his simple yet interesting design (although those golden chest bumps look a little funny) and I'm happy he's already in smash at least as an assist trophy. I don't believe he'll get ascended as a playablee character any time soon, but maybe in a future smash game? Doom Guy The unstoppable destroyer of demons. I remember playing the original DOOM as a kid in a friend's computer and feeling incredibly scared of the demons in the game xD Looking back the pixelated monsters look funny to me but as a little kid that game was nervewrecking I love the way the series got rebooted and it's transition into modern gaming, it's a fast paced intense shooter with a truly badass atmosphere. Protoman The cool and mysterious reploid I'm so happy I got to draw Protoman, whe I was little I would love it whenever he showed up in Megaman, his design with the long yellow scarf and sunglasses accompanied by his whistle music theme made him look WAY cooler than Megaman back in the day hahah. As much as I like him, I think he fits perfectly just as a mii costume though. Hollow Knight The fearless vessel of the abyss. I LOVE Hollow Knight💕 I cleared the game a couple of years ago and loved every second of it. The atmosphere in it is so dark yet beautiful. ✨ Also the knight's design is so simple, yet iconic. 😍 It controls great, it feels great. The world building in this game is awesome. Vaati The evil minish wind mage I have to say, this is one of my favorites I've done so far <3 Vaati has a really cool design and I absolutely love The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap the artstyle of that game is simply gorgeous :D I love the visual style of the Wind Waker so seeing it translate so well into pixelart for the Game Boy Advance was a treat back then. I remember I played it first on an emulator in japanese before it was released in english and getting stuck at the beginning of the game because I didn't know I had to do a spin attack in front of a guard to get out of town xD So I just waited it out like the rest of the world until its american release. I'd love to play a game someday where they bring back Vaati in full 3D, I think he's a great villain in the Zelda franchise and more villains should get their shot to shine, I think Nintendo relies too much on Ganon... I remember feeling veeeery underwhelmed with the Ganon reveal in twilight princess, don't get me wrong the final battle is truly epic, but Zant deserved better imho... Shovel Knight! The shovel wielding legendary knight. Shovel knight is one of those characters that have a really simple yet endearing design, hes just a simple faceless knight whose armor is a shovel and yet, there's something special about him. I absolutely love his game and I feel like Yatch Club games truly captured perfectly that old NES feel perfectly <3 The gameplay is great, all the bosses have super cool designs and the battles are unique one from the other. I love that game and I'm happy Shovel Knight made it into the game at least as an assist trophy. Sub Zero / Scorpion GET OVER HERE! These guys are some of the most iconic characters in the world of fighting games even though they started as very simple kind of generic (but cool) looking ninjas, they've evolved over the years into their own iconic selves and even though I do not follow the LONG and complicated lore of Mortal Kombat I really like these guys and I really think they deserve a spot (along with their other recolors as skins) When I was around 9, my best friend gave me Mortal Kombat Trilogy for the N64 as a birthday present and I remember being super hyped about it, after some practice I was fighting on a level that's a bridge and I dropped my enemy onto a bed of spikes, little did I know my mom just came into the room and was pretty upset about it and she made me trade MK3 for the complete opposite of this game...Yoshi's Island 😂 I was so sad about it. Even though the MK games are famous for being overly violent I bet they could implement the serie's feel in a more stylistic way, similar to when ridley killed Mario in its reveal trailer(or just use friendship moves hahah) For quite some time I've been pretty sure they would be the last addition (specially Sub Zero with his ice powers), but after watching many speculation videos of the last DLC character in Smash. I'm pretty sure they won't get in, and I'm fairly convinced that the last character will be the main protagonist from the new Shin Megami Tensei game hahah, similar to when they added Incineroar, Corrin and other characters to promote an upcoming game andake the game take little longer to age. Earthworm Jim The unstopabble space suit wearing earthworm! Earthworm Jim is such a cool an underrated character from the mind of the brilliant @dougtennapel . Back in the 90's he was a total icon with a great run of 2d sidescrolling action games and even a cartoon. Kazuya Mishima started as the main protagonist in the Tekken fighting series and would later turn into one of the main villains in the series. I don't really know much about the serie's lore and haven't played much Tekken, so my knowledge on the subject is pretty limited, however, the few time I've played I've enjoyed the combat style and I'm pretty excited to see it translate into the Smash universe😁 During the E3 reveal I initially thought that we were getting a Dark Souls rep with the trailer being so dark hahaha but it was a pretty good twist and it's cool to see most of the major fighting series in gaming being represented in Smash 😄 Like I said, I don't know much about Kazuya but I really think he's a pretty cool looking character and the fact that he goes from being the hero to a demonic villain is pretty dope.🔥 My first contact with the Tekken series wasn't even on a Tekken game, but  along time ago when I played Soul Calibur 2 on the Playstation and Heihachi (Kazuya's abusive father) appeared as the crossover invited character for that game x) I'm pretty excited to test him out and after all these, I really have no idea who the last character will be. Leon S. Kennedy One of the main protagonists of the iconic Resident Evil series. Leon is one cool, tough and handsome looking dude. Even though I played RE2 as a kid I didn't register who he was in my mind until I played RE4 in the Gamecube. That game is soooooo good! The atmosphere and combat in it is so intense and it remains a classic in the franchise (wich took a strange turn for a while but is on a pretty good stride right now) From all the protagonists in the series, Leon and Jill are my faves and I would love it if any of them made it into the game, a Resident Evil level would be dope!
