there's a lot of assumptions about larger systems. so i kinda feel the need to make a post about it! ^-^

when you learn how big someone's system is, saying "wow that's so many, that sounds so crowded, how do you all even function like that? it must be a mess in there lol"

that hurts! it's not nice to say that another system must be crowded and a mess because of their system size, even if their system size is in the thousands. and the genuine questioning of function is drowned out by the assumptions around it.

a large size does not inherently mean dysfunction. even when a large system is dysfunctional, it's not nice to point it out in comparison to your smaller system size. it can make large systems feel ashamed of themselves, regardless of intention.

it's okay to be a larger system, whoever you are! and also, you aren't bad for making a larger system feel weird about being large. but it would be nice to be mindful of your words in the future!

Just a few thoughts I'm having after seeing other simmers' thoughts cross my dash...

It's actually fine for the community to be negative about a product a massive corporation is asking you to pay money for, especially when there was at the very least misleading information about the functionality of the product in comparison to other versions. No one owes you a smile and good vibes, and if you have an issue with people sharing their authentic reactions and understandable negativity towards, again, a massive corporation that's made a lot of anti-consumer choices specifically in how they've handled the Sims franchise, then I highly recommend blocking people or maybe the term "EA" if you'd still like to see other content from simmers.

This release just reinforces how individual the pink soup and crashing issue is for simmers. Some people are really happy with the Legacy Sims 2 and are seeing much greater stability, while others aren't seeing an improvement or are requiring the same fixes as before to make the game functional. Ultimately, it seems like the only question this surely answers is that there isn't an easy fix to pink soup. Not even the developers understand it... but boy do I wish we could have gotten a 64 bit Sims 2. I'd love to see how that would impact the game's performance.

Hello! I'm Grim. The creator of this blog. This is an ask + roleplaying blog. Here is the source of my icon, genuinely the only place I could find it.

WORLD BUILDING: This Happy Mask Salesman uses He/Him pronouns. He's in his mid/late 30's. He was born and raised in the world of Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, and all happenings are almost canon compliant. Currently, the Upheaval has just taken place. His primary goal is to collect masks. He already has quite the collection himself, but will be happy to recieve masks from the masses. Masks have three stats: Value, Ability, and Alignment. There are two kinds of alignments. One kind are rather common, while the other are almost unheard of. Common Alignments include: Forest, Fire, Water, Wind, Lightning, Shadow, Light, and Spirit. Divine Alignments include: Courage, Power, and Wisdom. Masks can have three of these at most. These will be assigned to any masks you give him if you haven't decided them already, although he may have his own ideas of the Masks Alignments. The Ability of the Mask will be influenced by its Alignments. He also has quite the soft spot for music, and will gladly accept instruments and songs. Instruments will still have a Value and Alignment, while Songs have Alignments and Abilities. He does not go by any name, and he prefers it that way. He has a large home in the Akkala Reigon, Northwest of Tarrey Town. Here you'll find the bulk of his collection, and his organ. Its melodies can be heard throughout the region. He has several protections here, although none are obvious. You can also find him near most Stables and Towns, listen for the tune of the Masks moving as he does. He sometimes has visions of worlds he's unfamiliar with. He currently is looking for the most brilliant masks he's ever seen. One so precious and familiar to him, and the other he can only describe as fierce. He's spotted them for just a moment. He'd like to find their owners. If you're confused by any this, stop that. HC of Madara having furs made for Tobirama after they start dating/courting etc. specifically for when they are having their quiet moments under the stars, Madara can drape the fur over Tobiramas shoulders.

Getting a fur blanket so that they can sit side by side, blanket covering their laps having a morning tea before their day.

Fur blankets around the house in various locations just so they can just cuddle underneath without having to get up and go to the bedroom.

whether you're addicted to drugs, hardcore or not, or to various behaviors, and so on, you are not and never will be an inherently evil person for that.

you have a rightful space in these communities, regardless of what you're addicted to and why.

addiction is very hard to deal with, and kindness can and should be allowed to all addicts. they have thoughts and feelings as well. they deserve the same amount of respect that non-addicts get.

even if it's just one alter or headmate or part, or even if it's the whole system or collective. here's some love for you today!
