You can make grilled cheese taste better by using a waffle iron. The waffle iron makes the outside of the sandwich golden and crispy, and the cheese melts just right inside. For an extra tasty twist, add your favorite fillings!

Ingredients: 4 slices of bread. 4 slices of cheese e.g., cheddar or American. Butter or margarine for spreading. Optional: additional fillings like ham or bacon.

Instructions: Preheat your waffle iron to a medium-high heat setting. Take two slices of bread and spread a layer of butter or margarine on one side of each slice. Place one slice of cheese and any optional fillings between the two buttered slices of bread to create a sandwich. Repeat the process to make a second sandwich. Carefully place one sandwich on the preheated waffle iron and close the lid. Cook for 3-4 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted. Remove the waffle iron grilled cheese sandwich and repeat the process with the second sandwich. Allow them to cool for a minute, then cut each sandwich into quarters. Serve your waffle iron grilled cheese while it's warm and enjoy!

This Tomato-Avocado Grilled Cheese Sandwich is a delicious twist on the classic grilled cheese. The creamy avocado and fresh tomato slices add a refreshing flavor that pairs perfectly with the melted cheddar cheese.

Ingredients: 2 slices of whole wheat bread. 2 slices of cheddar cheese. 1/2 ripe avocado, sliced. 1 small tomato, sliced. 2 tablespoons butter.

Instructions: Place a slice of cheddar cheese on one slice of whole wheat bread. On top of the cheese, put slices of avocado and tomato. Place the second slice of cheddar cheese on top of the avocado and tomato slices. Top with the second slice of whole wheat bread to create a sandwich. Cover the outside of the sandwich with butter. Start by setting the pan or skillet on medium heat. It will take about 34 minutes per side for the bread to turn golden brown and the cheese to melt after you put the sandwich in the pan. Take the sandwich out of the pan and let it cool for one minute. Then cut it in half. Serve hot and enjoy your Tomato-Avocado Grilled Cheese Sandwich!
