"He's going to disappear again..."
For my first drawing of the new year, here's Riley and Griff from Dawntide, which is fast becoming one of my favourite furry visual novels. And in addition to its exquisite sense of atmosphere and intriguing characters, a huge part of that is the absolutely beautiful artwork. As such, I challenged myself to experiment with style by aiming for something closer to the visual novel's actual look.

I'm watching the 97' anime and how did I forget all of Casca's concerned looks between Griff and Guts and all the Hawks openly acknowledging that Guts was Griff's favourite and he was soft on him lmao.. Funny they removed Casca's expression when Griff ran to Guts rather than fleeing from Zodd but I do enjoy Guts very stricken expression when she said it was his fault Griffith got hurt
