who would’ve thought that a couple weeks of living in each other’s bases, getting used to the way the other likes to keep their space, would bring zedaph and grian so close together?

after trading deeds back, they never really settled back into their original spaces. they kept visiting each other, kept staying over, messing with each other’s things after getting used to owning it all for weeks

at this point, zedaph’s used to being interrupted by grian with pranks or stories to requests for cuddles, used to sweeping stray feathers off his desk and licking picking out of the blankets on his bed

and grian’s used to zedaph setting up strange experiments in random rooms, used to him coming up behind him and bonking his head against his back or shoulder, used to running his fingers through zed’s wool to detangle it and pick out anything that gets stuck in it

neither of them has stopped thinking of the other’s home as his home too

They thought it would stop once they moved on from this place. It was just one of those things, and they'd find themselves naturally drifting apart.

So Grian was surprised when in the next season, he woke up to find Zed curled into a little ball on his sofa, sound asleep. He thought he might be dreaming at first (not that he's dreamt about Zed, no, uh, just... You know.)

He also couldn't help his relieved smile that this routine would be continuing.

We would like to take a break from spamming the popular ships tags today, and instead reach out to all the rarepair enjoyers! They both love to play in the rain but they want to seem mature for each other,,

Their mutual friends would always be confused when they talked about each other. It didn't sound like the Grian or Zedaph any of them knew.

So it was a perfect moment when they both realised they were as silly as each other. Which meant donning their wellies and running through puddles together.
