His ears fold back when he realizes what shape the offending object takes, its beady eyes somehow insulting him. It reminds him of the cute plushies his nephew would send him, even when Leona would tell him not to bother with that sort of stuff.

Paired with the tiny bat charm, it's evidently a representation of Malleus and Lilia. The realization only makes his frown deepen, poking at the dragon's stubby snout with a gloved digit as if punishing the poor thing for existing in his presence. "Why's this thing so overstuffed?"

His torment of the plushie is short-lived as his hair is abruptly brushed back, Leona pulling his head away out of instinct. "Hey-" It's too little too late though, his hair kept in place by the colorful ribbon. Reaching back, he feels the neatly done up ribbon, but doesn't bother removing it. It was getting hot anyway, so Lilia had saved him the extra work. For now, he'd accept blissful ignorance of whatever design the new accessory had.

At the other's chuckling and teasing words, he merely waves him off with a huff, "I dunno what yer talking about." Despite his nonchalant expression, the question still begs as to how Lilia knew about the damned article of clothing. Had Ruggie gotten loose lips lately? Or did Malleus go crying to Lilia about this. He'll blame the dragon, just because he hadn't accused him of anything lately.

"Starting to think you're creeping around like that hunter~ Don't you have your own kids to look after?~ Bet the hornster already got his head stuck in an ice cream bucket or something." He's already storming off with a haughty flip of his ponytail, refusing to let the bat have the last word. Never mind the fact the plushie is still wedged under his arm like a Magift disc.
