Man, this guy had it bad for Three.
Yeah, okay, he's willing to listen to him, fine...
He's a bit of a fanboy...
Checking him out and looking wistfully after him as he leaves...
Willing to believe anything he says no matter how odd...
...
Choosing to remain behind with him in a dangerous situation when everyone else including his supposed girlfriend has gone outside...
Mourning his absence...
... and reacting like this when he hears that he's back.
Honestly can't even be in a room with him without thinking about making out.

Parallel universe Petra and Sutton are everything to me. Petra's amazing and Sutton's become something of a hero, definitely redeeming his earlier sexist tendencies we saw.

This album is called FEARLESS, and I guess I’d like to clarify why we chose that as the title. To me, FEARLESS is not the absence of fear. It’s not being completely unafraid. To me, FEARLESS is having fears. FEARLESS is having doubts. Lots of them. To me, FEARLESS is living in spite of those things that scare you to death. FEARLESS is falling madly in love again, even though you’ve been hurt before. FEARLESS is walking into your freshmen year of high school at fifteen. FEARLESS is getting back up and fighting for what you want over and over again…even though every time you’ve tried before, you’ve lost. It’s FEARLESS to have faith that someday things will change. FEARLESS is having the courage to say goodbye to someone who only hurts you, even if you can’t breathe without them. I think it’s FEARLESS to fall for your best friend, even though he’s in love with someone else. And when someone apologizes to you enough times for things they’ll never stop doing, I think it’s FEARLESS to stop believing them. It’s FEARLESS to say “you’re NOT sorry”, and walk away. I think loving someone despite what people think is FEARLESS. I think allowing yourself to cry on the bathroom floor is FEARLESS. Letting go is. Then, moving on and being alright…That’s FEARLESS too. But no matter what love throws at you, you have to believe in it. You have to believe in love stories and prince charmings and happily ever after. That’s why I write these songs. Because I think love is FEARLESS.
THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU

Thank you to CMT, GAC, and MTV.
Colbie, thank you for lending your angelic voice to this album. It’s an honor to have you as a co-writer and friend.
Abigail, distance has never held us back and it won’t now that you’re at college. Best friends. That will never change.
Kellie Pickler, you’re the sister I never had.
To my band, “The Agency”, you are family. Caitlin Evanson, Paul Sidoti, Grant Mickelson, Al Wilson, Amos Heller, Ben Clark…Thank you for dressing up in crazy costumes because you know it makes me laugh.
Thank you to the people with the hard jobs — My crew and bus drivers.
But most of all, thank you to the fans. I’m nothing without you. Nothing. I’ll never forget that.
I want to thank you for giving me this life, from the bottom of my heart. With everything I have and everything I am, I thank you. I’m nothing without the people who believed in me and my music enough to go out and buy a copy of the first CD…or the people who bought tickets to see me in concert. So the final thank you goes out to you.
Fans are the reason I even have a second album coming out. I love you. Thank you for all you do. Endlessly. l’ll always thank you, and I thank God every day for putting you in my life.
And to the boys who inspired this album, you had fair warning.

ISABEL AGREES TO HOST CANYON’S GALA OF THE YEAR, BUT ‘THE MCMURRAY CURSE’ IS THE TALK OF THE TOWN IN ‘RIDE’ PREMIERING APRIL 9, ON HALLMARK CHANNEL
STUDIO CITY, CA – April 6, 2023 – When Isabel (Nancy Travis, “Last Man Standing”) and the McMurrays step in to host Canyon’s gala of the year, tongues are wagging about “The McMurray Curse,” in this week’s episode of “Ride” premiering Sunday, April 9 (9 p.m. ET/PT), on Hallmark Channel. Travis, Tiera Skovbye (“Riverdale”), Beau Mirchoff (“Good Trouble”), Sara Garcia (“The Flash”), Jake Foy (“Designated Survivor”) and Tyler Jacob Moore (“Shameless”) star.
When Canyon, Colorado’s most important annual gala loses its venue the day before the event, Hank (Greg Lawson, “Wynonna Earp”) offers for Isabel and the McMurrays to host at their barn. Unfortunately, the dusty, old barn is nowhere near the standards of the gala chair, Barbara Sutton (Rachel Crawford, “Heartland”) – Isabel’s friendly rival. Not one to give up, Isabel mobilizes everyone at the ranch to help spiff the barn up overnight. With the gala quickly approaching, the venue isn’t the only thing that needs a makeover, as Isabel persuades Cash (Mirchoff) that charming the judges there is as important a step to winning as any of his other training. Thankfully his coach Missy (Skovbye) is just the person to help. For her part, Missy is struggling with her own riding and must figure out why or risk losing her sponsorship deal. Now stepping into her role as co-foreman alongside Tuff (Foy), Valeria (Garcia) is frustrated when the ranch hands are not taking her promotion seriously. Tuff – still reeling from witnessing her mysterious encounter the other night – tries to uncover what Valeria’s really hiding. Despite everyone’s hard work, they realize that won’t stop the town of Canyon from gossiping about the McMurray family curse.
“Ride” is a Blink49 Studios / Seven24 Films Production. Executive producers are Rebecca Boss, Chris Masi, Sherri Cooper, Alexandra Zarowny, Paolo Barzman, Greg Gugliotta, FJ Denny, John Morayniss, Carolyn Newman, Virginia Rankin, Elana Barry, Josh Adler, Jordy Randall and Tom Cox. Alejandro Alcoba is co-executive producer. The series is produced by Brian Dennis. Lesley Grant is supervising producer. Paolo Barzman directed from a script by Rebecca Boss & Chris Masi.

𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐘 𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐍: 𝐁𝐁𝐂 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐏𝐋𝐈𝐀𝐍𝐓
Reposted from an old blog. This canon is compliant to BBC's Sherlock, in terms of Mary being a secret operative. However, there are canon divergencies detailed below. This is written with a base understanding of the events of the series.
Mary's past is a little unclear; however, it is known that she was born Rosamund Mary and that she used to be a trained assassin who went rogue and changed her identity in order to hide from her past. Her accent is English, but she was not born British. However, after so many years of hiding her American accent, she’s lost it almost entirely and has to focus when she wants to use it now.
Approximately five years before meeting John Watson, she chose the name "Mary Elizabeth Morstan" from the gravestone of a stillborn child, in order to hide her true identity. Claiming to be an orphan in order to cover for the fact that she had no family. They met when she took a job as a nurse, (having the required medical training and falsified documents) at the clinic John worked at. It didn’t take her long to figure out whom he was, and that the stories in the news involved him. She did not seek him out, but she felt for him all the same --- and surprised herself when she realised that she’d grown feelings for him that were reciprocated.
John planned to ask Mary to marry him, a bit over a year after they had begun dating - shortly before Sherlock's return. He took her for a meal out and brought a ring, however the meal was interrupted by Sherlock just as John was about to ask her. When John finally saw that Sherlock was alive the horror on Mary's face was obvious, as she knew just what Sherlock's "death" put him through. Despite being together for less than two years, Mary was more of a serious girlfriend than the other girlfriends John had and he proposed to her soon after the interrupted meal.
The arrival of Sherlock into their lives was a tricky one --- the spy in her wanted to view him as a potential threat, but she couldn’t help but like him. However, it took everything in her to watch every step she made --- the wrong word or move would send him sniffing after her past. Fortunately, he seemed to like her and blinded himself to those bits about her (or maybe, he noticed but said nothing as a friend).
Mary did eventually marry John at St, Mary's Church in Sutton Mallet, Somerset. The wedding was attended by among others, Greg Lestrade, Molly Hooper, Tom, Mrs Hudson, General Sholto and Sherlock who was John's best man. Her wedding was tumultuous and she received a possibly threatening telegram from CAM (that set her on edge, but she played it off as nothing --- she had people who sent her little reminders to toe the line in her new life every so often; she was used to it) . Her first dance with John as a married couple was a waltz written by Sherlock. She was revealed to be pregnant that night, after Sherlock informed them from signs he had noticed from Mary..
The truth about her past was revealed to some extent during Sherlock and John's investigation of Charles Augustus Magnussen. Under a threat from Magnussen, she went to his office intending to kill him, however she was discovered by Sherlock whilst he and John were breaking into the place. Knowing that if she killed both men, John would be a suspect, and she could no longer kill Magnussen without Sherlock witnessing, she shot Sherlock just below his chest where the wound would not surely kill him. She then hit Magnussen over the head and phoned an ambulance for Sherlock and left the building. When he was in the hospital, she told Sherlock not to tell John about any of it.
After Sherlock ran away from the hospital Mary found him after he fed her a series of clues. He projected a picture of her face onto an empty house – saying that it mimicked her personality, a façade. Inside the house, they discussed how she could easily have killed him yet chose not to. Mary said that she would do anything not to have John leave her. However, John was present while she confessed to being an assassin. They returned to Baker Street, where Sherlock told him as much as he knew about her. Mary produced a USB drive that she claimed had everything about who she used to be on it. She begged John not to read it in front of her, because she did not want to watch him stop loving her.
Six months later at Christmas, after a period of separation between Mary and John, John told her that he did not think her past was his business but that her future was his privilege. Mary, now known to be pregnant with a girl, was incredibly relieved. John admitted he was still angry at her, but the two remained together. After Sherlock kills Magnussen, Mary and John see him off in an emotional farewell when he is being exiled and sent on a dangerous mission as part of his punishment. However Sherlock ends up being flown back in when images of the deceased Jim Moriarty start appearing around London, indicating the late master criminal may still be alive.
Mary later gave birth to a healthy baby girl, named Rosamund Mary Watson, after herself. Sherlock, Molly, Mrs Hudson, and possibly D.I. Greg Lestrade, were named as Godparents. Alas, Mary was tracked down by a member of the assassin team she was part of and is forced to leave John and Rosamund behind whilst she takes random trips around the world, a new country, a new identity. Eventually, she is tracked down by Sherlock and John, but also Ajay, the fellow assassin she was running from. The three escape.
Mary meets Sherlock in an alcove to show him her past. She knocks him out using some sort of drug and leaves after he has seen the real Mary Watson, also known as Rosamund Watson. Her real maiden name is still unknown. We later find out, in an aquarium, that a government secretary, Vivian, gave the order in a fateful mission in Georgia that cost the lives of half of A.G.R.A., Mary's former assassin team. Vivian moved to shoot Sherlock, and Mary watched in horror as he stood frozen in shock. Moving to pull him out of the way, she was hit in the shoulder. The action was stupid and she berated herself for it, but it proved non-fatal.
Still, the action was a close call --- and with everything that had happened, along with Rosie to be considered. The Watson’s needed to reconsider how they engaged with Sherlock and his world. Prompting a period of distance, as they also had their own issues to work out. However, Sherlock’s challenging of Culverton Smith --- and his extreme backslide prompts them back into the fray once more.
Mary is still shot in the aquarium, but she is shot trying to pull Sherlock to the ground. The shot is not fatal, and both survive the incident. Instead it hits her shoulder, and while she recovers from the injury, and her arm is never fully the same again afterwards.
I don't have a full canon for how The Lying Detective works, but I feel like even though she's fine --- Mary getting shot would likely still cause some tensions with their newborn child and make them evaluate some things. Which could lead to distance. Which isn't to say they don't want to go on these adventures, or 'ruin' the fun --- but they have a small person to look after and getting shot at by choice is not a good way to do that and this dynamic is just going through a re-calibration period. I'll likely plot this with partners specifically to make it work for our threads, but this is my default.
Because of how fast paced and unexpected it is, Mary is with them when Eurus' drone attacks Baker Street and is with the three of them there. She also was a part of the trick played on Mycroft by Sherlock and John to push him to confess to Eurus' existence --- but she also voices during the scene that she thought the whole thing was a tad bit dramatic, but when are things ever not. "Also, the costume fit and it was a little funny."

Risks of Bitcoin Spot ETF Launch: Coinbase Analysts' Warning
The launch of spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in the United States could cause a shortage of Bitcoin and impact a popular trading strategy, according to Coinbase researchers. Coinbase's head of institutional research, David Duong, and senior sales trader, Greg Sutton, highlighted two key risks associated with the launch. First, ETF issuers may face difficulties in sourcing enough Bitcoin to hold in their funds. Second, the launch of spot Bitcoin ETFs could narrow the basis trade, a popular institutional trading strategy, reducing its profitability.
The potential approval of spot Bitcoin ETFs is just weeks away, and many believe trading could begin soon after. However, Duong and Sutton warned of the sourcing risk for institutions looking to buy Bitcoin for their ETFs. While it is considered a good problem to have, compared to low inflows, it is a risk that needs to be considered.
The other risk is related to the basis trade strategy, which takes advantage of the difference between the spot price of Bitcoin and the price of Bitcoin futures contracts. Due to increased volume in spot Bitcoin and futures contracts, the potential profit on the basis trade has surged in recent weeks. However, with the introduction of spot Bitcoin ETFs and direct exposure to Bitcoin for institutional investors, the basis trade's profitability is expected to decrease.
There are currently 13 applications for spot Bitcoin ETFs pending with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Analysts predict that one or more of these products could be approved as early as January 10. Grayscale, a crypto asset manager, recently met with the SEC to advocate for in-kind redemptions instead of cash creation, which would be more efficient for ETF issuers. These developments indicate the growing interest and potential impact of spot Bitcoin ETFs in the market.

Digifinex Labs: Unspoken Risks Surrounding the Launch of Bitcoin ETFs
David Duong, Coinbase’s head of institutional research, and Greg Sutton, senior sales trader, highlighted the first risk in a podcast on December 19. They suggested that the launch could create difficulties for institutions attempting to source sufficient BTC. This pertains to issuers needing to acquire Bitcoin from regulated sources to hold in their ETFs. Duong questioned, “What if demand is so great that these institutions are unable to obtain the required amount of Bitcoin?”
While acknowledging that this predicament is preferable to low inflows, Duong emphasized the importance of considering the sourcing risk as the ETFs move forward. Interestingly, crypto venture firm Bitwise predicted that a spot Bitcoin ETF could become the most successful ETF launch in history.
Sutton pointed out a second risk related to a widely adopted institutional trading strategy known as the “basis trade.” This strategy involves exploiting the difference between the spot price of Bitcoin and the price of BTC futures contracts. The potential launch of spot Bitcoin ETFs could impact the effectiveness of this popular trading strategy.
As the countdown to the potential approval of spot Bitcoin ETFs continues, these two risks underscore the complexity and potential challenges that may emerge within the crypto market.

Reto Burrell
Denver Broncos Regular Season Game 11
Hawk Valley Regular Season Week 12 November 27, 2022
Denver Broncos vs Panthers
Quick Review
The Broncos lost to the Raiders 22-16. The Raiders ran three plays in overtime to win.
A longer review
This game took place on November 20 at 2:05 PM MST. The temperature at the start of the game was 45 degrees.
The Raiders started the game on offense from their 26 yard line. On first down, Derek Carr #4 handed the ball of to Josh Jacobs #28 who ran up the middle for three yards. The Raiders would call this play so often, I wondered if it was the only running play in their playbook. On second down, Carr threw a swing pass to Jakob Johnson #45 for no gain. On third and seven, Carr connected with Davante Adams #17 over the middle for a 21 yard gain. Jacobs picked up three yards running to the left on first down. On second down, Carr threw a pass to Adams for a fifteen yard gain that I thought was incomplete at first. Jacobs took the hand off and lost six yards on first down, but there was a flag on the play. Mack Hollins #10 was flagged for an illegal block in the back. On first and twenty, Carr threw a pass that was batted down by Jonathon Cooper #53. IN-COM-PLETE. On second down, Carr found Ameer Abdullah #22 over the right side for no gain. On third down, the Raiders called the same play, but this time it was over the left side and the pass was to Adams. That play gained four yards. With 10:22 left in the quarter, A.J. Cole #6 punted on fourth down.
The Broncos first drive of the day started from the eight yard line. Russell Wilson #3 rolled to the right and connected with Greg Dulcich #80 for fifteen yards. Gordon ran up the middle for three yards on first down. On second down and seven, Russell threw his first IN-COM-PLETE pass of the day, but there was a flag on the play. Sam Webb #27 was flagged for pass interference. The Broncos gained 18 yards. Chase Edmonds #19 came into the game and ran up the middle for four yards. On second down, Russell completed a pass to Courtland Sutton #14 for a sixteen yard gain before he was hit by Denzel Perryman #52. Edmonds second carry of the day gained two yards. With 6:40 left in the first quarter, Russell connected with Kendall Hinton #9 on a thirty-three yard touchdown pass. The play was reviewed and overturned. The refs decided Hinton was down at the one yard line. On first and goal, Latavius Murray #28 ran up the middle for a touchdown.
Abdullah returned the ball to the 41 yard line, but Brittain Brown #38 was flagged for holding on the kickoff return. The Raiders second drive of the day started from the fifteen yard line. Carr threw an IN-COM-PLETE pass on first down, but Damarri Mathis #27 was flagged for illegal contact. From the I-formation, Jacobs ran to the right for seven yards. On second down, Jacobs ran behind Thayer Munford Jr. #77 for fourteen yards. With five minutes left in the quarter, Carr found Hollins on the right side for nine yards. Back in the I, Jacobs ran up the middle for two yards. On first down, Carr found Brandon Bolden #34 for four yards. On second down, Carr hit Jacobs on a swing pass to the right for four yards. Back in the I, Jacobs ran over the right side for two yards. With 1:30 left in the quarter, Jacobs ran up the middle for six yards. On second down, Jacobs ran over the right side for five yards. On a sweep to the left, Gordon gained nine yards. On first down, Russell hit Eric Saubert #82 for nine yards. On second down, Gordon picked up ten yards running up the middle. With 10:15 left in the half, Russell threw an IN-COM-PLETE pass. On second down, Murray came in and gained two yards. On third down, Russell’s pass was IN-COM-PLETE. On fourth down, Brandon McManus #8 kicked a 48 yard field goal with 9:24 left in the half.
