House often plays it up and makes a game of it but there's something so heart-wrenching about his desire for domesticity. He's surrounded by people who think he could never care about anyone else, who are shocked that he ever managed living with someone else. He thrives in mayhem and excitement, he loves to wreak havoc, but he also just wants someone to cook with, to do dishes with, to sit and watch television with. The way he talks about his life with Stacy; the way he lives with Wilson. And yeah, his particular approach to domesticity wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea, he's still House after all. But he wants it all the same. House doesn't dream of white-picket fences but he still dreams

The worst part for me about House (the show) is that we (I) never got any real insight to House and Stacy's 5 year long relationship.
That's a long ass time to be together. Some marriages don't last that long.
Couldn't the writers just have thrown us (me) a bone and give some good backstory?
I can forgive the medical malpractice, the numerous crimes, the various phobias, the sexism, racism, the cruelty, the selfishness, the use of sex workers, the drug abuse, the war crimes, the sexual harassment, and even destroying Cuddy's character for one of TVs worst romances but I can't forgive Shore and co. Not giving more information.

the biggest mistake house md did was make cuddy/house become a thing in season 5/6
at the beginning you kinda knew they were gonna do something with them so you were sorta expecting it. but they didnt. they kept that flirting best friend dynamic for so long that you got used to it so when they suddenly made them kiss in season 5 and went all serious it just felt forced at that point. like it was out of place, they remembered they wanted to make them a thing and just skipped the natural build up. one ep and suddenly they're kissing. yeah there were feelings before but you didnt expect them to act on it anymore after s2 or s3 (which wouldve been a good time to actually do something with them). so when they suddenly did it was just... woah?
and im not saying this because i like hilson or whatever. house and stacy were amazing, there was actual romantic chemistry. wilson and amber was random too but it was a different kind of sudden and it was amazing too. they waited too long with cuddy and house that now its just two best friends being forced into a relationship cause theyre man and woman. in my opinion

The people that hate Stacy so much?
Why do you love House when he does the exact same thing to complete strangers?
Stacy loved him. I'm guessing she loved him more than she ever loved anyone in the world and that she will never love anyone like she loved him.
He was her everything.
So.......
My question to the haters are: you love a male character when he does something but you hate a female character when she does the exact same thing?
Doesn't that seem wrong? Sexist? Double standard? Women hating?
And the show was called House and not Stacy. We had hours with House and his trauma.
I have been next to someone who I love who was very, very sick. I would do anything and everything to save them. Beg, borrow and steal. Lie. Kill.
The things you do for love.
And House's limp is Stacy's fault. His pain and drug addiction is not.
i truly do not believe that there is enough discourse on this site about stacy and how she violated house's autonomy. let me preface this by saying that i do in fact love stacy as a character, however i think what she did was incredibly wrong, especially considering she shows no remorse for what she did.
in one breath, part of me is able to understand why she did what she did. i mean, she saw him go into cardiac arrest once, and she was obviously worried about it happening again while he was in his coma. that being said, house was very clear about what he wanted, and what he wanted was to see if he could heal on his own, but in a medically induced coma so that he didn't have to suffer through the painful parts of the recovery. he very well could have pulled through and lived the rest of his life pain free. but because he gave her the role of his medical proxy, the decision was ultimately up to her under the circumstances that he was physically unable to advocate for himself, and since he was in a coma, that's where the medical decisions were now in her hands. but instead of allowing house to have the chance to heal on his own, she waited until he was physically unable to communicate his needs and wants and immediately signed the consent forms that ultimately crippled him.
i wholeheartedly believe that had stacy actually given him the chance to have his way and something ended up happening to him and then she signed the consent forms, he would have been less bitter when he woke up to find out that she had gone behind his back and essentially abused her position as his medical proxy. she knew what he wanted, completely disregarded it and violated his autonomy. she consistently reminds him that she "saved his life" when he tries to voice how hurt he is by what she did as an attempt to shut him down, but neither of them will ever actually know if she saved his life. he could have pulled through and lived a normal life but she had to go and do what she wanted.
and i think what makes it all worse is that the second stacy had to face the consequences of her own actions during his recovery, she walked away because he was miserable. she created that mess and couldn't even be there to clean it up because she realized that he was nothing more than a burden on her.
again, i'm not going to sit here and say that her call was a bad call. it very well could have saved his life, but it's the fact that she went behind his back and waited until he was unable to advocate for himself that bothers me. it's no wonder he doesn't trust anybody.

I really wished I could have liked Huddy but the shippers made it impossible.
The Hameron people gave up by season 3. The Hilson people knew it would never happen.
The Huddy people got awarded for their badgering and obnoxiousness.
Therefore, my House shipping heart will always belong to House/Stacy.

Sometimes I think about House and Stacy and think of the good story we were robbed off.

It was what life could have been. It is not a reason to live. It's a reason to die.
Deep down House wanted to marry Stacy, have children and live in the suburbs.
That's why he laid down again and accepted his fate to die.
Stacy = all the "what ifs" and regrets in his life.
(it would kind have been awesome to see him kiss Stacy and Cuddy together instead of the cheerleaders)

You know, these two should have had children.
Imagine his eyes and her hair.
His brilliance tempered by her ability to take shit (and at appropriate times dish it out)
The House-Warner children would have taken over the world.

I'll be posting a bunch of unpopular and/or doomed ships that still haunt me to this day.
Starting with this hot garbage:
Both people are garbage and they were so pretty together.
If I wrote House MD, this would have been endgame.
I mean their names are Greg and Stacy. All my friends (back in 2005) had parents with such lame names.
How can I not ship them?
A doctor and a lawyer?! Two incomes and no children?!
