In October 2016, Michael Heathcock drove a nail through the head of his living 16 year old dog. Richard Finch assisted him with the act and they buried the dog alive in Kirkleatham Woods in Redcar. The dog was later discovered by horrified dog walkers and the police were informed. The poor animal was later 'put to sleep' by the RSPCA to stop immense suffering. Richard and Michael have addimited their crime in court and are currently awaiting sentence. Their defence was appalling, 'the dog was deaf, blind and incontinent and Michael's house had started to smell'. The pair could have very easily dropped the dog off outside a local kennel or done the decent thing and ensured the pet recieved the appropriate veterinary care. In an interview with a member of the public outside court, Richard Finch admitted having FOUR dogs! Surely these dogs should be immediately removed from his home, like a child would have been if he'd have assisted with hammering a nail through a friend's child's head. These men are dangerous and should never have the ability to own another animal again. All pets should be removed from their 'care' with immediate effect. Give animals avoice! Ajoutée le 7 févr. 2017 On the 31st of January, a dog was brought into Dog Rescue Romania with horrific injuries, a victim of the worst torture. Her leg and tail had been cut off, her teeth extracted with pliers, she had been sexually abused with a knife, her back broken and various other fractures to the mouth and body.

This was not an isolated case and the lady who found her, a kind dog feeder, told GreenWorldTV that various mutilated puppies had been left for her over the period of that week.

The Daily Mail covered the story where the torturer has been named the Butcher of Bucharest and this film was made to highlight the fact that there are no protection laws for the street dogs in Romania and despite the gravity of this case, next to nothing will happen to bring the perpetrator to justice.

The tortured dog has been named Spirit and will remain under the sponsorship of charity IAWPA who plan to help provide funds for her care and assist in her adoption to the UK once she is better.

@Regrann from @greenworldtv - URGENT! The photos of a dog with both of his ears cut off have gone viral on social media. This petition has been set up to bring justice to this defenseless animal and we demand that the monsters responsible for this are held accountable to the fullest extent of the law. According to the information published on social media (and confirmed by a local newspaper) the thugs responsible for this monstrosity are Hasan Kuzu (the one of the left) and Neset Yaman (on the right). The two are, most likely, involved in dog fights and decided to punish one of their dogs for losing a battle in the most inhumane way possible. The two proceeded to cut the dog's ears off with a sharp knife, with no anaesthetic whatsoever. They had a friend record the scene - during the video, which was uploaded online but has since been deleted, the dog howls in despair, begging for mercy, but the cruel attackers just keep on going. At the end, they pose for photos, each with a piece of the dog's ear in their hands, seemingly proud of their achievement. A picture of the dog all covered in blood has also been posted online. There are no updates on the dog's condition as of yet, but it is hard to imagine he was taken to a hospital, where the two would have to give explanations for the canine's condition. The two lawless individuals live in the municipality of Isparta, Turkey. Please show your support to ensure these monsters are brought to justice as soon as possible. Their actions are barbaric and unacceptable and justice must be accomplished, in accordance with Turkish laws (specifically Article 8 of the Law of Protection of Animals no. 5199, which prohibits the removal of a dog's ears, tails, nails, teeth and vocal cords under any circumstances) Demand justice for this badly abused dog by signing and sharing this petition now.
