so halloween decorations are rolling out, which is fucking awesome. and i got an email from a home decor store (at home, specifically) about their halloween stuff being out so i'm like, hell yeah i wanna look at that. and i found THIS DUDE

and it's like yeehaw brother! get that creepy coffee, send those spooky emails. sometimes a cowboy is just a skeleton trying to join their team meeting, y'know?

but then i kept scrolling and like. is this the same spooky skeleton???

i understand making sure you have your finest cowboy hat on for your monday meeting, but in the tub???? and sure, trade out your coffee for something a little stronger after a hard day, but the BOOTS?? like y'all, i live in the south but i don't see THAT many cowboy skeleton figurines at halloween time, so this was interesting to say the least.

AND THEN???

THIS IS DEFINITELY THE FIRST SKELETON, RIGHT??? IS THIS WHAT THEY NEEDED THE COFFEE FOR??? TO GET THEIR WHOLE SKELETUSSY OUT ON THE FRONT OF THIS TRACTOR???? WHAT'S HAPPENING HERE??????? WHY'S GREENCAP GRINNING LIKE THIS??? IS AT HOME SELLING SOME KIND OF SOUTHERN SKELETON SEX GAME FIGURINES???

like good for them if so, but i just was NOT prepared for this genre of halloween decor?????

like maybe i'm misunderstanding the lore and the first skeleton and the second skeleton are different????

now those are new boots and that's a different tie for the neckerchief, but this is defnitely billy bubblebath bones, right?? is this zoom call skeleton's ex??? did they see zoom call skeleton flaunting their entire bone vagina facing the world with green cap and turn back to the bottle (of poison)?????

don't worry billy bubblebath bones, there's more to (after)life for you! like the patriarchy! and by the patriarchy i, of course, mean horses.

like, billy bubblebath has a whole fuckin FIT going on for their time with A Horse of the Apocalypse here. new boots, new gloves, perhapse a new outlook on this crazy thing called skeleton life. this is a skeleton who survived the skeleton war, saw their skeleton partner leave them for a freak with a tractor, and said "no, i'm going to make my own way."

as far as i can tell, this isn't for sale, but that is definitely billy bubblebath bones welcoming folks (skeletons) to their....skeleton horse farmhouse?? IN PANTS. AND A SICK BELT BUCKLE. NO BOTTLE OF POISON TO BE FOUND. like it feels like i should hear a camera shutter sound and get a slow zoom out of this polaroid after the "good end" of the skeleton cozy farm sim.

look, i don't fucking know okay?? but they're as tall as a fucking mantel and i'm now pretty convinced that if i saw this fucker, i would force it into the trunk of my prius and leave it up year round right inside my front door.

Ithrinland

Ithrinland is a mysterious inhabited island that may or may not exist. Maps put it off the coast of Junis, in the Pale Isles, off the coast of Hykraelia or in the middle of the Greencap Sea. The Ithrinlanders are said to be a people that nearly all suffer from albinism and wear nothing but white and pale gray garments. As per their nature accounts differ some claiming them to be a fair and noble people whilst others say they are ruthless blood sorcerers that lure sailors to their islands to be sacrificed. In any seaside tavern across Arkera one is likely to hear tales of Ithrinland and other phantom islands.

Cave Botany

In the Dragon Isles there is an abundance of caves, and of course the vegetation that comes with it!

There is a plethora of mushroom species and several plant species that accompany them ^_^

(I shall do my best naming some of them)

✿ Humming Bee Flower

This lovely specimen is quite large, around the size of a tauren and has an ethereal glow on the edges of its petals. 

❀ This plant emits a strange buzzing sound, which origins are so far unknown. 

✿  Everglow

Everglow is a mushroom species that is used by the denizens of the Dragon Isles as a light source, as it’s glows will last for many days!

❀  The physical characteristics of this plant are its turquoise color, and the hue of the same shade as well. 

✿ Dropcap

Dropshead is a mushroom species which oil can be extracted and used as a fire accelerant. 

❀ It can be characterized by its blue hue and its brown stalk.

✿ Bluecap mushroom boi

❀ I didn’t know how to name these mushrooms, so we’ll just go with this!

This mushroom species can be identified by it’s uneven cap shape and glowing light blue flecks. 

It’s shape can be described as a mushroom clover.

Its cap and stalk are the same colour.

✿  Redcap mushroom boi

❀ (Yeah I ran outta ideas. Problem??)

The Redcap mushroom bois grow in different sizes, usually varying from a small frog to a big frog. 

They usually grow together and throw like throwing mushroom tea parties! 

Its cap is a matte red colour, its edges darker than the center, and the stalks is a beige colour. 

✿  Greencap mushroom boi

❀ (It’s easy to remember, okay!?)

This species of mushroom can be characterized by its green cap colour, fading to a white on the edges.

Another characteristic is that the stalk is quite tall and brown in colour. 

They tend not to grow in a large abundance, as they seem quite asocial and shy, just like your average WoW player!

✿  Browncap mushroom grill

❀ (some diversity doesn’t hurt!)

These mushrooms prefer to grow on the walls of the cave, usually making acquaintance to the wall flowers that reside there as well.

Their physical appearance resembles a half-open umbrella, brown in colour with the edges fading into a soft beige.

✿  Wallhugger 

❀ These flowers can usually be seen growing in the near proximity of stalactites. 

They are similar to bell flowers with the shape of its petals, white in colour. Its leaves are a  dark lilac, while its anther (the yellow thingies in the pic if u don’t wanna gogole) are of a glowing yellow hue.

Sorry, last few days were crazy. Back to the MotW summaries.

So basically, in this session Grome, the groundskeeper said he had business to take care of in the basement, not to bother him, these are the things he usually does he'd need someone else to do, and then to Tabitha "If I'm not out by the end of the movie. Evacuate the theatre."

So the list of things were usual shit like "lawn, bathrooms, check boilers". When Malachi went to cut grass though he immediately had tiny men yelling at him about breaking the treaty and how this meant war. Jimmy, who spent the most time with Grome, had to figure out what was wrong about what was happening. He remembers Grome used to measure grass before cutting it, and suspects we did, in fact, break a treaty. They find a magical bush and go into it, becoming tiny like the people yelling at them.

They find out they're now at the Council of the Greencaps, who explain that the Theatre was built by the gnomes on Greencap land, under certain conditions, including that, as Greencaps gain health and magic through plant growth, and conversely, lose it as plants are hurt, the grass could only be cut a certain amount. They mention a "Mr. Knox" (The theatre is named the Edward Knox Theatre). Negotiations go poorly and Malachi uses a move that lets him "run away from danger, into a different, but equally bad situation". He ends up in the bathroom, still shrunken, and discovers a budding community of seamonkeys. Thed later does the bathroom and rolled high enough to, without ever learning they existed, slaughter them.

Malachi gets Jimmy to take him back to the bush where they summon a fairy, and use the empty whitecap from the redcap mystery to help the Greencaps recover their magic.

Then Jimmy goes to check on the boilers and discovers another blue guy flying around it, trying to lower the pressure, saying something bad is happening in the basement. He introduced himself as Andy the Anti-Gremlin. Jimmy befriends him, and the movie ends. They evacuate the theatre of people, then tell the Greencaps and Andy who also leave. The party asks themselves if they should leave. Grome's still down there. Someone says

"Well. Then I guess we haven't finished evacuating."

Thed puts his hand on the doorknob to the basement.

One Wigfrid headcanon, please :)

The reason why Wigfrid hates mushrooms so much- aside from the fact that they're inedible to a Valkyrie such as herself- is actually because she's allergic to them. Badly allergic. Though, of course, she never feels the need to express this since the topic of her eating mushrooms hasn't ever really come up, for obvious reasons.

The group did, however, learn this fact from... personal experience, when Warly- in an act of good faith, of course- snuck a couple of cooked greencaps into one of her meals one night, in an attempt to silently assist with her faltering sanity.

He has never tried to sneak anything into her food since.

Everyone is drunk except nightcap and wall knight. (Wall knight is not moved by peer pressure to drink, nightcap on the other hand… can be.) Everyone else is drunk. Chompzilla and beta carrotina are not here. Solar flare, grass knuckles, Spudow and Citron are rowdy-esque drunks, green shadow (and sometimes nightcap) are sad drunks, Captain combustible is mad drunk (for obvious reasons) (also rose and citron sometimes).

If you don’t like grasscap (maybe), greenflare, greencap(?), nightflare(?), citrose, electric Boogalo x rustbolt, and Spudow x wall knight, then this askbox might not be for you- anyways, askbox is open

Greencap titan horseshoe crab

Though their appearance is alien and mayhaps a bit unnerving the common horseshoe crab found throughout the seas of Arkera is harmless to humans and despite their massive size the Greencap titan horseshoe crab is no different. The colder the water the larger Greencap titans with some growing as large as a hay wagon. The alchemist guilds of the Sharoo Magyar Alligium has recently begun harvesting these prehistoric crustaceans for their bright blue blood which is rumored to have amazing restorative and healing properties.
