Hello! I am pleased to hear of your dedicated brushing! That is the gold standard of home care.

I, and most dental-savvy vets I know, will still recommend getting the pet under anesthesia and having full dental rads/cleaning done because no one can brush their pet’s teeth as perfectly as we can brush our own. And even though we do brush our own teeth twice a day, it’s still recommended we see a dentist twice yearly, isn’t it?

Once upon a time, I had a lil three year old chihuahua patient who came in for a dental cleaning as recommended. The owner was utterly adamant that she was in perfect health and would need no teeth extracted. Of course, after taking radiographs, we discovered that two of her upper molars were diseased with significant bone loss and needed removal. There was no way to tell this on awake exam.

Fun enough, the owner had forbidden us from extracting anything without talking to her on the phone first and ended up not answering our calls during the whole procedure. Legally, our hands were tied. So we cleaned the teeth and sent the pup home with two infected teeth in her mouth. Sometimes I still wonder how much pain she’s hiding because she’s a dog and can’t talk :D

This is all not to scare anybody, just to reinforce the fact that dogs and cats really do need anesthetic dentals, with radiographs, in order to achieve Perfect Dental Health.

tl;dr PSA: Please continue brushing your pets’ teeth, but strongly consider an anesthetic dental procedure with radiographs if your budget allows!

tl;dr 2: Oh, and if your dog has had their dental work already, then ignore my soap box speech and take my congratulations!

Yeah i normally do too, but this was in reference to my dad being a dick, asking me to do the dishes, then telling me im doing them wrong. told me I needed water. Didn’t seem to grasp that my cloth was dripping with water and suds, and apparently your supposed to have water in the sink, not just, wash em with the soapy cloth and water applied directly to the dishes. apparently I was doing it wrong and he got pissy. Dishes are clean tho so wtf.

Undertale (fandom ask - to help you with your boredom)

Send me a Fandom and I’ll tell you:The first character I first fell in love with: Oddly but not surprisingly, PapyrusThe character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Sans. Believe it or not my first time play through of the game I didn’t really pay that much attention to Sans. It wasn’t until fandom influence and then getting into theories and stuff and reading deeper into his side of the story did I take an interest in him. I feel a lot of ppl were like that too when the game first came out, bc I recall there being either a lot of hate for em or just ignoring him for papyrus at first until ppl like kinda realized he was cool I guess and there was a noticeable increase in his fanart and stuff. I can even rm ppl making “everyone talking about Papyrus while im here loving Sans” jokes actually being a thing at one point early on. I feel they’ve sorta leveled out now on popularity, aside from Sans being memed to hell and back of course.

The character everyone else loves that I don’t: I still don’t really like Flowey/Azerial. Lots of the fandom would beg to differ though from what I’ve seen.

The character I love that everyone else hates: Asgore needs more love and support he just tried to do what was right to protect his ppl. I think Toriel needs to give him a 2nd chance such, I don’t see many ppl who actually like Asgore and that’s sad. Be nice to goat dad.The character I used to love but don’t any longer: Honestly I don’t think this can apply to me because any character I love I never stopped loving. Maybe Papyrus went down a bit on the ladder when I moved over to Sans but I can’t say I don’t love Papyrus so-The character I would totally smooch:You’d think I’d say Sans but if given a choice who the fuck would pass up the chance to get a smooch from Mettaton.  The character I’d want to be like: Either Undyne for buff badass reasons or Alphys for nerdy reasons, then again both em like their nerd shit and enjoy it without shame so id take either or. Brawn or Brains no downsides really.The character I’d slap: Flowey, or maybe Chara for causing all the problems in the first place.

A pairing that I love:PAPYTON. Papyrus and Mettaton is just the cutest shit ever. I also love Sans being passive aggressive towards Mettaton to protect his bro. I also like Sans and Toriel, and ofc I’m fully supportive of Undyne and Alphys too, bc that’s canon AND THEY ARE SO CUTE.A pairing that I despise: Fucking foncest. Like listen okay I know its a high chance they aren’t actually brothers and just adopted eachother but they still treat and act like family and so fucking fontcest is just incest and I mean they take the naming from that anyway and anyone who ships shit like that is just wrong. Gross. It’s wrong, I hate it, I hate that it’s so popular. Along with that I also don’t like AUs being used as an excuse for gross self-cest shipping either.The only self-cest we stan here is the Onceler. (Is joke)((Ty for sending me this ask!
