vi is happy shes still in a long commited straight relationship (sadly) she gets her pianist degree this year (if God wants to) but her health is not realñly in a good place and we're trying our bests to stay strong !!!

When this picture appears, I’m reminded that it’s almost Nowruz... one of my favorite holidays that I haven’t been able to celebrate with my Persian Brother and his family in far too long. This year , Nowruz or the Persian New Year, is on March the 21st. These are fresh green almonds, a symbol of spring and they are absolutely delicious... they can be eaten whole but I find the outside to be a little bitter so I like to pop them open , and eat the soft center with just a sprinkling of sea salt. You really will have to search out a Persian market in your area to find them but once you do , you’ll be addicted.
