So now that I've figured out why Hira might go for Astarion ... I am now struggling to figure out why Astarion would go for them in the long run. Like, because he's barely his own person at this point, what are his preferences? Ya know? Beyond how they treat him, beyond the obvious, what about them is it that he likes? Ya know? "You were kind and patient and trusted me" is all well and good but that's still 1) related to him and 2) doesn't quite tap into the sense that he also wants them for himself for other reasons aside from wanting more of what they're doing for him. Ya know? Ya fucking know?

I'm aware of the asexual Jessica Rabbit headcanon, and I wonder if Roger is also on the ace spectrum.

Is there a word for ace people who do sometimes feel sexual attraction, but only in situations where doing so would be humorous?

Because that's my headcanon for Roger. Bi, and some kind of grey-ace.

I can imagine Eddie watching Trail Mix-Up and seeing Roger's reaction to Jessica...

I think you have a galaxy brain and you're speaking the truth and only the truth. I honestly headcanon Nami as a grayaroace lesbian, because,,, Me too. I am projecting. 100%. I think she only cares about flirting to get what she wants and she's interested in women in a very aesthetical way. She likes them and finds comfort around them and she's the biggest lesbian in town. But she has only felt genuine romantic feelings with Vivi and maybe had a crush on a girl once but it doesn't happen often. And when it comes to sexual attraction I think she finds women's bodies beautiful and loves them but it isn't often that she'll like them sexually. I think she only feels like that with Vivi and it's not that often anyway.

As a graysexual Alpha, I stopped to think the other day. Are Omegas and Alphas in most A/B/O universes... Graysexual? Because of heats and ruts I mean. Do they just experience sexual attraction and the desire to act on it during their heats/ruts? Or do they still have it most of the time and it's just intensified during heat/rut?

What do you think? How does it work in your verse?

I think it'd be kind of funny if Alphas and Omegas talked to Betas abt this stuff when they're younger and were genuinely confused abt it.
