As a graysexual Alpha, I stopped to think the other day. Are Omegas and Alphas in most A/B/O universes... Graysexual? Because of heats and ruts I mean. Do they just experience sexual attraction and the desire to act on it during their heats/ruts? Or do they still have it most of the time and it's just intensified during heat/rut?

What do you think? How does it work in your verse?

I think it'd be kind of funny if Alphas and Omegas talked to Betas abt this stuff when they're younger and were genuinely confused abt it.

When Caleb was born as the third child in the Lycaon family, he did not present as an alpha until the age of 18, many years after his younger sibling presented as one. Before this time, Caleb had made peace with the fact that he was not going to lead the Lycaon pack. He was, in fact, glad for it because he never saw himself as an alpha or even much of a leader to begin with, but nature and eventually his mother would dictate otherwise. She saw him as a more suitable leader than his over-eager younger alpha sibling given his calmer temperament and pushed him in the coming decades to be the next in line to lead the Lycaon pack.

In an act of defiance a few years ago, Caleb challenged his mother to a fight under the full moon thinking that he would not be able to win and would be ousted from the pack thereafter. What he did not expect was his mother losing the fight, and with her loss Caleb was forced to assume leadership of the Lycaon pack lest the entire pack fall into disarray. His mother still insists to this day that she did not throw the fight but his younger alpha sibling and some of those loyal to them believe otherwise. Since then, Caleb has had to deal with being the new Lycaon pack leader while also making sure to keep the Lycaon pack together. With the stress of leading the pack in the last two years, Caleb has found that his anger is getting more difficult to control.

Since his mother was ousted from the pack, she has been living as a lone wolf in another district in Vievecor City. Caleb often visits her to update her on Lycaon pack affairs and to also seek her advice if she is ever willing to give it. She refuses to step in to help even though she can still see that he is still plagued with self-doubt and fear.

When he was growing up with his siblings, his younger alpha sibling enjoyed pushing him around during play fights that sometimes escalated into actual fights as well. While his younger alpha sibling had been protective of the slightly older and more awkward Caleb in the past, a competitive streak began to grow when Caleb presented as an alpha. It was through such incidents that Caleb learned how to temper his anger from a young age because his brother would continue to do this until Caleb became pack alpha. 

Caleb tends to carry his lanky 6″4 frame with hunched shoulders so as to appear as unassuming as possible. While people can sometimes forget that he’s in the room when he’s quiet, his wolf form rivals that of his younger alpha sibling’s where they are both of equal size coming up to nearly 6 feet at shoulder height, making them some of the largest werewolves in recent years.

Caleb does early morning yoga every day as he finds that it helps him centre and calm himself and he actively encourages his pack members to do the same even if there are a number of them who find the suggestion really strange. He is also a certified Hatha yoga teacher and can sometimes be found teaching weekend classes at a yoga studio on Holy Island.

Caleb recently took up a job as a firefighter. He does his job just enough to allow him to stay at the rank that he is as he does not want any additional responsibility of being chief. He even makes it a point to request for transfers to different fire stations around the island every few years. If there are any other Lycaon pack members working in the same fire station as him but are of higher rank, Caleb is fine deferring to them when it comes to human cases, but will take the reins when it involves supernaturals.

One thing that I feel like reading a Larry stylinson fan fic , where harry is a graysexual, or at least asexual alpha, and Louis is his omega and, they just started dating, and Louis doesn't know yet that Harry is asexual, so he thinks that the reason Harry doesn't feel any sexual attraction towards him, because he doesn't like Louis' body .

Semblance: Trigger, a semblance that allows Alutori to produce iron or steel-like feathers from her arms and legs. These feathers can be used as projectiles or as blades. By regrowing too many feathers at once or reproducing them too rapidly, she runs the risk of severely injuring her arms, which she sometimes has issues controlling so she has a first aid kit of her person at all times. She also has control over the density of the feathers, able to bend without breaking them and mould them in order to form scythes, swords, etc. Overly large feathers are trouble though, as the largest she can produce is around a metre long give or take a centimetre.

Trivia: 

Growing up as the child of two Huntsmen and teachers, Alutori spent most of her young childhood in Beacon, Atlas, or generally around the Atlesian military. Everything was a toy in her eyes or a playground to run around with Bardleby and she made friends with soldiers and students alike. Mimicking the Ace Ops while they trained, she’d memorise different techniques to the best of her abilities, especially Clover.

Her cybernetic parts came from a mission in her second year at Beacon. After running away from her team in a mindless pursuit of a pack of Beowolves, the two Alphas and five smaller Grimm got the better of her and broke her Aura much easier than she thought them to be able to. She blacked out, and when she woke up, Winverna was asleep at her beside in a hospital while her fathers were being briefed on her condition and new attachments. Sure enough, she’d lost her right shoulder and the most part of the right of her torso. She’s never been too bothered by the robotics though. 

She has known Winvera since they were young and met via one of James’ briefing with Winter and Endor. They trained together, played together, were practically each other’s first friends. Everything about the lovely Schnee princess made Alutori fall head over heels for her.

Since the incident with the Beowolves, Alutori has a well-hidden yet passionate hatred for hunting them and refuses to allow any human recruits to go after them.

Alutori is already a Lieutenant General in the Atlas military. Being the daughter of the General meant she technically already had the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, but she worked the rest of her way up. She very much hopes to be General and Atlas Headmaster at some point.

Being fourteen years older than Jade and sixteen years older than Darnarian, Alutori was basically a fourth parent rather than a sister.

She considers the Ace Naxas her little siblings (spare Jade who is her sister).

She likes to think that she played a significant part in helping Clover and Jade join her family and get together with her dads. Since she was already very close to Clover with a friendship that no-one really understood, she had very little trouble accustoming to having him and Jade in her home all the time and calling him “Dad” too.

Alutori loves her wife more than life itself and keeps living for her.

Semblance: Watch Your Tongue, a constantly active Semblance that alternates Darnarian’s opponent’s luck in accordance with how much they lie in his presence. This gives Darnarian himself an edge in battle so long as he himself doesn’t lie. However, if he does lie himself, he’ll get a stomach ache and migranes until he refutes the lie and tells the truth; as such, he’s a very honest person, perhaps too much.

Trivia: 

Darnarian’s earliest memory is his older sister Alutori teaching him how to curse, which ended up exactly how she wanted in the long run. He’s a prolific swearer and doesn’t go a sentence without a curse.

Semblance developing at age six, he very quickly learned that for anyone around him, lying would be a literal bad omen and thus he uses this as a blackmailing system.

He is petrified of the dark. 

If he left his hair to grow out a bit more, his hair would fluff out a lot more, like a bird’s. It is exactly this reason that he keeps it reasonably short and tufted like his dad’s.

Clover is where Ari got his humour. He laughs quite a lot and would rather have people take compliments rather than deflect them, but that is limited to other people solely. He is insanely cynical when it comes to himself and takes jabs at his expense almost to the extent that Jade does.

Ari is a major sword and balde enthusiast. He has stolen Harbinger from Qrow multiple times just to practice or admire it, and Alutori has trained him personally in bladed combat. It was somewhat regrettable when he accidentally stabbed her in the back when he was 9.

He’s extrodinarily friendly and is friends with a lot of kids over in Mantle.

Due to the lie detector aspect of his Semblance, his eyes change from teal to red if someone lies around him. While with this change, he is likened to be a minature clone of Qrow.

Bio: If there was ever a job that you wanted to be completed quietly and under the radar, this is your girl for it. With her stealth capabilities, she’s the type that you won’t even know she’s coming until it’s already too late, if even then. All most know is that one minute they’re fine and the next they’re laying in a pool of their own blood with no clue what happened in that split second that it took for them to fall. Her instincts are always spot on, her plans carried to perfection. But with all those skills, she comes at with a high price tag but ask anyone who has used her, she’s well worth the fee.

Kitiara came from the Japanese lycanthrope pack. When the treaty between them and the vampires was set into place, the Japanese Lycans gave up their home country for the sake of peace and moved on. Most parted ways eventually, it was hard keeping a pack together when you had no stable home and no real reason for life any longer. Their numbers dwindled down and the few that are left are either off on their own. Except for four siblings. The siblings came from the main line, their alpha and father dying at the hands of a Pureblood and leaving no true successor behind. The four of them stuck together, deciding to make use of the training they’ve received and are available for hire for a variety of needs. Each one has their own specialty though they do work together from time to time to complete a job if needed.

Outside of her work, she still doesn’t stand out much, preferring to keep a low profile. She dresses rather ordinarily, keeps her hair in a very typical style and wears glasses to help blend in better. Any who have had the chance to actually interact with her could have described her as dull, boring, perhaps even cold, distant and verging on creepy. Her deep gray eyes show that they’ve seen far more than most and there’s an air about her to those who get close enough that shows she’s got blood covering her hands. She never allows her feelings to show, they are a weakness that will only end up being used against her as well as never allowing herself to grow close to anyone outside of the family she has left.

She is the youngest of the siblings, known only as Kitty or Princess to those who don’t know her personally and the chances of you ever getting close enough to know her true name aren’t in your favor. She is the type that will rather up and remove herself if she feels someone is getting too close or, in some rare instances, do something drastic that will cause the other to hate her so they never come around her again. Though if ever someone were lucky enough to get close to her and peer beneath the mask she wears, they’d realize she’s actually a rather simple woman. She loves ballet and dancing, enjoys a good manga here and there, and surprisingly enough considering the wolf that she is, is actually rather fond of cats. There’s a lot that she buries deep down that even her own siblings don’t see.
