so. what's happened is very suddenly my nan is on her death bed due to a bowel obstruction. Just last week, I was gardening and swimming with her, but her condition is deteriorating quick and, well, that sucks. My nan has been wanting to die for a long time though so I respect her choice to refuse treatment. my parents were away in NZ until today so it's just been me and my siblings handling things for the past week. mostly me, in reality, because my siblings all work full time. It's been very tiring. I'm not super sad about it because, as I said, my nan has wanted to die for a long time. I'm more extremely stressed from shouldering the majority of medical conversations around my nan. Thankfully, my parents are home today. My nan is still alive but they don't expect her to last the week. The kind of death she's chosen is a slow and gross one. I never wanted to see my nan this way, but I'm relieved it won't be for long. Through all of this I am still unemployed with no income and extremely depressed so Everything is A Lot rn. I'm kinda just numb. I can't believe how fucking hard this year has been.
