late night cravings-homesickness fusion
You know the saying, "You don't know what you've got until it's gone"?. This is exactly that.
Tempe talks in between ngaji, a.k.a. the only time I expose my taste buds to that many sambal.
The delicacy itself, Bubur Galaxy (technically not its official name). And if you don't mix your bubur, you're doing it wrong, fight me.
JCO. A staple, especially within my extended family because my grandma would buy us a whole box whenever it was one of her grandkids' birthday. Rekindled when it opened literally right next to my high school.
My love, my life, my everything, pukis. Would get these almost every Sunday while waiting for my brother to swim. Now that I think of it, Rp10.000 for 8? Damn. Here, I have to pay an extra approximately Rp8.000 just for a bag of Bourbon chocolate buns, and they don't come close to this classic.
Mama's chicken steak. My mom was never that much of a cook, but this is an absolute classic, alongside her chicken soup. I don't care if people say it's meh, I love it to death.
If the previous ones we're considered classic, then I don't know what this is. The embodiment of my childhood, Muti's avocado ice cream. It's basically frozen avocado juice but something about the sweetness both from the avocado itself and the additional chocolate condensed milk is just right.
I don't care, I'm gonna name this brand. Ayam Mas Mono. That's it.
And of course, how can I forget the myth the legend itself, ni ai wo wo ai ni, Mixue. What a Chad.
Now this is the real deal. Nutella Brownies Blizzard never goes wrong.
(Edit: January 12, 2024)
But most importantly, I miss the people I used to share my meals with almost daily. Eating the regular yet lovely chicken soup by Mama with my brother while waiting for my school's pick-up car to come, eating yet another peanut butter bread with my friends while talking about the same old problem I couldn't seem to walk away from, so many memories though redundant I would relive once more. If He wills, it will happen, but I know it won't last. We won't live through it for days, even months, like we would before. So if there's one thing I learned from leaving home, it would be to cherish the so-called ordinary days.

Disney Sequel Reviews shortly, because why not ( Part 3 )
101 Dalmatians 2: Patch's London Adventure
- Story Time: When i was little, i often went to my great-grandmother in the weekends. She had a TV and a DVD Player with 4 DVDs: Patch's London Adventure, Lion King 1 1/2, Home on the Range and a bunch of episodes of Disney's Gummi Bears. Thanks to that I saw this movie like a billion times, so i might be too nice to it. But again, this is my list, so i do whatever i want
- This is one of my favorite Disney Sequel ( it's definietly in the top 5 )
- The animation style is really good
- Cruella is back and she's even crazier than last time
- this painter guy is golden
- I really enjoyed watching Patch and Thunderbolt interacting with each other in the streets of London.
- And they actually casted a child to voice the puppy character not like in a certain other case ( *cough* Scamp *cough* )
- The worst part of this movie is the Horace-Jasper duo. In the first movie, they were kinda funny but still threatening characters. Here, they are horrible comic reliefs. A woman dress? Really?
- And HOLY SHIT THEY SENT CRUELLA TO A MENTAL HOSPITAL. That's dark Disney.
Stitch! The movie
- The animation is really nice
- This is a prequel to a TV series done RIGHT
- If you didn't know, this movie was the setup for the Lilo and Stitch animated series ( which is one of my favorites )
- I love Hamsterwheel as a villain
- 625 have all the powers that Stitch has, but he just want to make sandwiches. He's fantastic.
- Pleakley and Jumba are back, and they are just as great as in the first one
- I really like 221's Design. Kinda Stitch, but not really
Lion King 1 1/2
- ALL HAIL THE BEST DISNEY SEQUEL EVER MADE
- Timon and Pumbaa ( but mostly Timon ) are my favorite Disney characters. A movie about them? Count me in.
- The animation is Gorgeous, almost as good as the original's ( which would've come at handy in the Lion King 2, just sayin' )
- The movie have both hilarious and emotional moments which is always good in a movie.
- The songs are all great, i love them ( Digga Tunnah is hella catchy, it's remix in the credits is great, and the score when Timon leaves the colony is beautiful )
- Fun Fact: The song "That's all i need" was actually the original "Hakuna Matata", called "Warthog Rhapsody".
- We finally know why the animal tower collapsed
- Timon's mom deserves respect: she loved his son so much that she was ready to face the whole world alone just to find him. The power of motherly love is the strongest power of all.
- Uncle Max is fantastic
- Possibly my favorite Disney scene is in this movie: the montage where Timon and Pumbaa are dealing with cub Simba. Seeing how hard they are trying to keep him safe is kinda heartwarming ( especially when he had a nightmare about THAT part of the first movie which broke my heart into a million pieces )
- The Proposal. I said enough.
- Timon willing to sacrifice himself just to save Pumbaa, Ma and Uncle Max ( and leading the hyenas to Scar so they could eat him ) is ( in my opinion ) one of the bravest Disney moments.
- And of course the Cinema scenes are great. Especially the one at the beginning and the one at the end.
- Also there's like 2 million hidden Mickeys in this movie
Mulan 2
- *Very Angry Hissing Noise* D I E
- From my favorite to my LEAST favorite sequel!
- I hate this movie. Possibly the 3 good things about it are the animation ( except Shang's facial expressions ), the soldiers and the max. 2 minutes of screentime when Grandma Fa is shown.
- The moral of the story is possibly one of the worst morals: Love is the only thing that matters and fuck everything else. THE FATE OF CHINA WAS ON STAKE FOR GOD'S SAKE MULAN YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO BE SMARTER THAN THAT
- By the way China was possibly doomed, since the princesses didn't marry to the finger-trap guy
- BUT the biggest crime of the movie was that they made My Dude Mushu unlikeable. He was my favorite character from the first movie. Here he's just a douchebag. Plus no Eddie Murphy
- The songs are meh
- And HOW ON EARTH DID SHANG SURVIVE THAT FALL? You can't say "Because Disney", because there were several other cases of someone dying from a fall. Isn't it right Ratigan, Gaston and Cyclops from Hercules?

What is Edamame and How Do You Cook It?
Lightly boiled and perfectly salted, edamame is the classic Japanese snack that is not only delicious to snack on but also packed with a nutritional punch. Learn how to cook these young soybeans with the authentic Japanese method.
Edamame (枝豆), pronounced eh-DAH-ma-meh in Japanese (ay-duh-MAH-may in English), is most popularly known as the little snack that is brought to you when you sit down to a table at a Japanese restaurant.
With a sweet buttery taste, these lightly boiled or steamed soybeans are not only delicious, but they’re also fun to munch on while waiting for the rice bowl or ramen or sushi platter to be served. If you’re in Japan, you’re most likely enjoy these fun snacks with some foamy cold beer.
What is Edamame?
Edamame are edible young soybeans that are harvested and picked before they have ripened. In Japanese, eda 枝 means ‘stems’ and mame 豆 means ‘beans’, as they are often sold while still encased in pods with the stems attached.
Long been consumed in Japan since the ancient times, edamame is now considered a mainstream ingredient in the US in the recent years. They are just as common as peas where you can find them being sold in plastic bags in the freezer aisle at most of the grocery stores in the US. They are also available shelled, fresh or frozen.
They are in season between June to September, so this is a good time to hunt for fresh edamame at your local Japanese grocery stores. To cook edamame with the classic Japanese method, look for fresh pods with stems attached and they should look bright, plump and slightly fuzzy.
Health Benefits of Edamame
Low in calorie and high in fiber, edamame have always been considered as a healthy food in Japan that delivers many nutritional values. Just 1/2 cup of these soybeans a day punches up the vitamin and mineral content of the diet needed by our bodies.
There are plenty of reasons to include edamame in your diet, and here are just some of the health benefits they offer:
1. High in Dietary Protein
With a complete source of plant protein, edamame provides all of the essential amino acids needed for the bodies, which may help reduce insulin resistance and prevent hypertension. A great protein choice for those who follow a vegetarian or plant-based diet.
2. Calcium
The calcium in the soybeans may help to increase bone mineral density, regulate blood sugar and lessen symptoms of premenstrual syndrome (PMS) among women.
3. Rich in Vitamins and Minerals
Edamame is also rich in several vitamins and minerals, especially vitamin K and folate. Adequate folate intake is particularly important for pregnant women and young children as it is responsible for red blood cells and brain health.
4. Iron
For a plant food, edamame provides an excellent source of iron. Sufficient iron is essential to transport oxygen throughout the body, ensuring the energy level of our bodies. It is also necessary to maintain the health of our skin, hair, and nails.
The Right Way to Prepare Edamame
1. Cut off both ends of the pods
I still remember spending my summer evenings at my grandma’s house where I was assigned the task of trimming edamame pods. Do you know why we cut off both ends of the pods? We do that so the salt water will season the soybeans inside the pods when boiling. What a neat trick, isn’t it?
2. Rub with salt
Sprinkle salt and rub the edamame pods against each other. This helps to remove some of the fuzzy hairs on the pods. It also helps to retain the bright green of the pods and absorbent of flavors while cooking.
3. Boil in 4% salt water
A rule of thumb is to blanch edamame in 4% salt water (so don’t mess up the classic method). It’s easy to remember 40 grams of kosher salt for 1000 ml water. 40 grams of salt is used for rubbing the edamame before boiling and for the boiling water.
Once you finished cooking, do not rinse under water. We let the edamame absorb more flavors from the pod naturally. It is not required to sprinkle salt after cooking in salt water. However, you can sprinkle a tiny bit of salt if you like.
Various Ways to Enjoy Edamame
Of course, this is not the only way to enjoy the versatile soybeans. You can quick blanch edamame and pan fried them in a pan and season with soy sauce and some Japanese hot pepper like shichimi togarashi. You can also toss the shelled edamame into your salads, soba noodles or fried rice. Here are another two edamame recipes you’ll enjoy:
Spicy Edamame
Japanese Fried Rice

Edamame
Lightly boiled and perfectly salted, edamame is the classic Japanese snack that is not only delicious to snack on but also packed with a nutritional punch. Learn how to cook these young soybeans with the authentic Japanese method.
250 g edamame ((8.8 oz) (can be between 200-300 g))
40 g kosher salt ((1.4 oz, or 2 Tbsp + ½ tsp))
1000 ml water ((4 ¼ cup))
Remove pods from the stems.
Measure the weight of edamame pods (if you do this once, you know the rough amount next time without measuring).
Now we’re ready to begin. Prepare 1000 ml water (4 ¼ cup) and 40 g kosher salt (1.4 oz, or 2 Tbsp + ½ tsp)
Start boiling water in a pot. Using a pair of kitchen shears, cut off both ends of edamame pods. If the water starts boiling, cover and turn off the heat for now.
Place the edamame in a bowl or tray and sprinkle 1 Tbsp of (40 g) kosher salt. Rub the pods against each other with hands.
Add the rest of the kosher salt into the boiling water.
Then add the edamame pods WITHOUT removing the salt. Cook on medium heat for 3-5 minutes depending on the size of the pods. It’s easy to remember 4 minutes, but start checking the doneness after passing 3.5 minutes. Remember we do not run cold water on edamame after boiling so I recommend under-cooking slightly.
Stir occasionally to make sure all the pods are cooking evenly. If you see the foam forming on the water, remove it with a fine mesh skimmer because we do not wash the pods after cooking.
Drain water in the sink or scoop up the edamame pods to a sieve. Let cool naturally so the edamame can absorb the flavor (If you skip cutting the ends of pods, please leave it for at least 1 hour). If you like, sprinkle a little bit of salt (I used sea salt flakes). Enjoy!
If you want to preserve the edamame, cook the edamame and then freeze. You can defrost naturally but you can also quickly blanch in boiling water or use microwave to reheat.

Oh, God! Question meme! A really long one! Run! Hide!
Tagged by @ajaysims. *points* It's his fault! His! Not mine! ;)
This is really long, since it's a synthesis of two of these questions memes and I have verbal diarrhea. So, I cut.
Name: Katrina
Nicknames: Most RL people other than my kids and grandkids call me Kat because one syllable is less than three. :) Simmers call me iCad because that's what I chose to call myself when I started participating in the community. Hubby calls me Kitten. Kids call me Ma, usually in exasperated/long-suffering tones. Grandkids call me Mimi because I hate the usual things that grandmothers are called because they're associated with old people. I may be old, but I'm not old, y'know? :)
Zodiac sign: Taurus, but astrology is still bullshit.
Height: A hair less than 6'0/about 182cm. And very underweight due to digestive/metabolic issues mostly because of a malfunctioning liver. (No, not from alcohol. From having had asymptomatic Hepatits C that I most likely got from a blood transfusion in the early 80s, before they screened donated blood for that. It sucks, y'all. Cherish your liver. Baby it. Seriously. Stop with the alcohol. Just stop. Do weed instead.)
Orientation: In experience/practice: A Kinsey 2. In terms of the kind of person who attracts me: People with IQs over 130. I really, truly don't care what you look like, what gender you identify as, or what sex organs you have or don't have. Smart is seriously sexy. So, I'm sapiosexual. :)
Ethnicity: Whitey-white-white, yay! :| Glow-in-the-dark white. I-start-burning-in-the-sun-in-30-seconds white. Damn-near-albino white. Also, mostly of Welsh descent. Only sort of half-second-generation American on one side; my paternal grandma was one of those horrible immigrants who took a job away from a Real American(TM). She was even a somewhat illegal one, for a few months. But she was white and British so I guess that's OK.
(Sorry, as a person married to a man whose mum -- who is awesome -- was born in Mexico and who came here legally with her family when she was 7 and is a citizen but she still gets shit these days because she’s “a Mexican,” I've sorta come to really hate the kind of people who tend to call themselves Real Americans(TM).)
Favorite fruit: Okra, especially when part of aloo bhindi masala, an Indian dish. Okra IS a fruit. Really. Look it up. Also, tomatoes.
Favorite season: Autumn, when everything is dying. MWAHAHAHAHAH!
Favorite book series: Still Sharon Kay Penman's "Welsh trilogy." Also, though not really a series, per se: The Star Trek novels that were published in the 80s. They got mostly stupid after that, but there were some gems that were published in the mid-80s, before The Next Generation was a thing.
Favorite flower: Calla lilies. Usually used in funeral arrangements, along with Easter lilies, yay. Flowers of death! MWAHAHAH!
Favorite scent: Lilacs. Lavender. Honeysuckle. And this "rain" scent scented candle. It's so clean and fresh and not-perfumey, yet it manages to drown out the brine smell that eventually permeates everything when you live close to the shore...
Favorite color: Greens. All shades, although I prefer the yellower shades, especially the darker ones like army green. Also, orange.
Favorite animal: The spotted hyena, but I already extolled their many virtues the last time I did this list, so I'll refrain. Also, elephants.
Coffee, tea, or hot cocoa: Hell no, maybe, and yes please (if it's vegan), respectively.
Average sleep hours: Sleep? What is this word? *just came off a 38-hour work "day" a few hours ago, and I'm too wired to sleep.* YAY SHOWBIZ! :| But generally, when life isn't crazy, usually about 6 hours per 24 hour period. And I'm nocturnal, so those six hours are usually between about 0900 and about 1500. :)
Cat or dog person: Both person. And llama person. And alpaca person. And horse person. And snake person. And spider person.
Favorite fictional characters: Spock. (Well, actually, pretty much the entire original Star Trek crew except, well, Kirk. Whom I hate. With a passion. I really like Abrams-Kirk, though. Oddly enough. So it might just be that I can't stand Shatner...) The Cardassian characters from Star Trek: DS9, but especially Garak. Also, Julian Bashir and Miles O'Brien from DS9. Jack O'Neill and Rodney McKay from the Stargate franchise. KITT from the original Knight Rider. And Jayne Cobb from Firefly. (Hi, @eulaliasims!)
Number of blankets you sleep with: I'm in SoCal at the moment. No blankets because I tend to sleep in the warm part of the day. And when I do sleep at night, there's a furnace-like husband and a large, furnace-like dog in the bed with me. Blankets would be overkill.
Dream trip: Still Antarctica. Or space. But Antarctica is more likely at this point. ;)
Blog created: I think it was December of 2013. Maybe November. Ahhhh, those halcyon pre-2016 years...
Number of followers: Right now? 1443. It might change in an hour or so.
Time right now: About 0220 Pacific Time, Wednesday, March 22. One month and one day until my birthday. I expect presents, people! (Nah, I kid. Birthdays after 50 don't mean much. Hell, birthdays after 18 -- or 21, nowadays, I guess -- don't mean much. :) )
Last thing you googled: I was looking for some textures to use for some recolors I'm working on during downtimes at work.
Fave music artist: In terms of non-classical stuff: Queen, always and forever. But I also really like the Barenaked Ladies and other such alternative groups from the 90s as well as 80s New Wave stuff. Also, Metallica. In terms of "classical" stuff: Beethoven, always and forever.
Song stuck in my head: Beethoven's 8th piano sonata, 3rd movement. I was playing it at work today...on my cello. I'm working on arranging the entire sonata for solo cello...starting with the 3rd movement because I do better working on things backward. (Since I'd be willing to bet most people don't know the tune off the top of their head, here's Dubravka Tomsic playing it on youtube, if you're curious.
Last movie I watched: Star Trek Beyond. I liked it better than Into Darkness but not as well as the first Abrams-verse one...
Last TV show I watched: I have Stargate Atlantis paused on my computer screen at the moment. I plan to work on furnishing/decorating the house I put up for download tonight when I'm done with this, and I usually have a TV show playing while I build/decorate stuff in my game. :)
What I’m wearing right now: A pair of black sweatpants and a Telluride Daily Planet T-shirt. (That's the local newspaper at home. :) ) Boring white underwear. My fleece-lined moccasins because my feet are always cold.
The kind of stuff I post: Sims stuff, duh! At least on this blog. :) The other blog has the ranty/political stuff.
Why did I choose my url: Because I like to point and laugh at silly internet drama and because I own llamas, and I added dingdang because dramallama was taken and because of this song.
Gender: According to every one of those silly "What Gender Are You?" online quizzes, I am male, mainly because I'm a self-confident, argumentative, assertive, non-empathetic asshole who doesn't do "feelings." Yet, I have girl plumbing. Go figure. Meh, it's all just social conditioning and expectations, anyway, so...I rebel. I reject gender labeling and their associated roles.
Hogwarts house: I took a quiz once and it said Gryffindor. I've never read Harry Potter or seen any of the movies except one of them during an airplane flight...and I fell asleep during it, so...Yeah, I don't know what it means to be Gryffindor. Don't much care, either.
Pokémon team: Don't know anything about Pokemon, either.
Lucky number: 13 because I am anti-superstition. (Well, except when it comes to white pianos, of course, but I have hard evidence that they are evil, so it’s not superstition. ;) ) Or 42. Take your pick.
Dream job: I once said "Not having one" but then followed it up with "but that's boring." So, I decided to take on some work through June. And you know what? I'm gonna go back to "Not having one." I just need to find some volunteer work to keep me occupied for a few hours a day. Not for 38-hour "days," though. :p
Relationship status: I is married to my second husband. He's cute. And a lot younger than me, woooooooo! First marriage wasn't nearly so fun, though. The only good thing that came of it was my kids.
Pets: Oh, God. Most of them are back home in Colorado (where I have a 39-acre ranch) while I'm here in California, but:
A herd of llamas and alpacas, about 50 total at the moment, but "unpacking" season is approaching, so that number will be going up to about 65 soon. 5 horses 2 nanny goats...which actually belong to a neighbor but they're currently housed on my property, so...they count! 8 dogs 5 cats...although sadly that will probably be going down to four soon because the 18-year-old whose had health problems all her life is currently quite sick and likely won't be getting better. :( Also, there are a ton of barn cats, but they don't really count as pets. A flock of chickens. 1 rooster, the rest hens. 1 California kingsnake 5 tarantulas, various species 8 dragonfly nymphs. I think 2 will become dragonflies this year because I've had them for a few years now...
Last song you listened to: Beethoven's 5th piano concerto, for somewhat sentimental reasons.
Favorite TV Show: Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. I love the original series a lot, too, but DS9 surpassed it in my book.
First Fandom: Star Trek, of course. I remember declaring that I would marry Spock when I grew up. I was 3 at the time, in 1967, watching the episode "Amok Time" (in which Spock almost gets married) in its original run. We'd only just gotten a color TV a few months before, so it was REALLY COOL. I also wrote a crapton of fanfic in the 70s/80s and a bit in the 90s. Even published a 'zine in the 80s. It was expensive as hell back then but SO MUCH FUN!
Randomly Tagging People I Don’t Think I’ve Tagged For This Thing Before: @randommindtime (It's what you get for following me!), @yandereplumsim, @elfpuddle, @halousims, @nuttydazesublime, and @kayleigh-83. As always, feel free to ignore for whatever reason. :)

Okay, it’s April and I am writing a blog post about March. I mean it is the usual thing for me to write every month. As for today I feel a bit meh-and-uh, but lets start shall we!
🌸🌸🌸
March 3,
So I spend my Friday going out with my mom, my brother and also my boyfriend. As we went to Gadong Properties Food Court, well it’s been a while. The last time I went here was with my boyfriend, and as for my mom hmm probably years. I tried Laksa Sarawak, expectation; spicy, reality; not, but it was okay.
March 5,
I tried to do “Flatlays” because I have been admiring and following instagram accounts of flatlays related. It’s so nice and simple, yet hard to find the right angle, also lighting most importantly lighting! The background as well. I am a purple kind of girl or probably a bit of pink – okay a lot of pink sheesh. But what I need is a white background and tadaa! I really like it a lot! Tell me what do you think about the pictures!

March 6,
It was cold rainy Monday, which is a good start! I am wearing my favourite sweater today! Not until I reach my class at the IBM knowing that there’s no air conditioner ON. And it was hot hot hot. My class starts at 7:30 AM, waited until 7:45 AM or something. Just got an announcement that our class cancelled. Ah I walk as fast as I could to go back to my car, going home, in my room, standing RIGHT in front of my air conditioner. #Life Took a nap before my next class which is at 4:30 PM. (DO YOU SEE THE GAP?) Had our presentation, it went well – kind of.
March 8,
A gloomy Wednesday, and it’s raining. Not good. Just because my E-business class is so damn cold, adding up with a rainy day? HP – 1000 FREEZING! but hey we got a guest lecture, which I thought that he or she would be a Bruneian lecturer, but actually he’s from Korea. To be honest I am excited to be taught by international lecturer, I mean besides than Bruneian lecturer. Don’t get me wrong, my lecturers are fine, my point is that THATS A FIRST! But I hardly understand what he is trying to say. He did apologised for it in front of the whole class due to his different accent-ish. Overall it was fun.
Bonus point:
Another month for both of us. As for this month we went to Cherry Cafe. My current favourite would be Laksa Sarawak. Not too spicy but I was expecting it to be SUPER spicy (again, me and spicy food). As for him, Buttermilk Chicken of course. Also, to celebrate we bought games! Corpse Party! The anime is ah-mayy-zinng! I’m a gore kind of girl – how meh? Hmm I should probably write about Top 5 all time favourite gore anime or something. Hmm probably.
March 15,
We’re going on a trip! Well it’s not that far away. E-Business Class trip to iCenter. I have always been wanting to know what it is about, I know it’s business related. I NeeD MORE! I am amazed with the talk, the short tour and get to know local entrepreneurs, kind of get the idea of the programs as well. Looking forward to be here again. And I met both co-owners of BruVera! which I was going to have a mini talk session soon. Do visit their website as well! Support local you guys! Click here!
March 18,
GUYS! Guess what! 100 + 100 = 200 followers! Thank you so much! I shall crei in Japanese language! My cat, too excited to receive the notification!
March 26,
Attending my cousin’s wedding! I’m not so sure with the family structure here – totally lost. I get to meet my grandparents, and grandparents’ siblings and other relatives that I do not know their names but they do know me. Of course the “when you’re getting married?“, “are you next?” and all those questions. No offence of anything, I find it funny because it’s been a while.
Photo of the day? YES Thanks to my sister for taking the photo. I had fun attending this event, and I do enjoy all of the traditional performance which I forgot to take pictures of it. Nevertheless (Ohh fancy word fancy!), I am happy to see a smile on my mother’s face, to have a good time or talk with my grandmother, as well as her sisters. I took photos of her and grandma, which of course I’m not going to post it here. The event was at UBD, so basically I’m going to school the whole week. hahaha #sobs at the end, why do I have to wear heels again. God that hurts. I used to be into heels, have lots of them, but as for now, sneakers please.
March 29,
My mom decided to go out, with my boyfriend. WAIT, why does that sounds so wrong. hahaha, basically with me and also my siblings as well. We went for Steamboat and Grill, which I forgot the restaurant name thing. But we ate a lot! Like a lot! Thank you ma!
March 30,
Potato Habit! New branch open up near to my University! also my village. So my boyfriend and I bought BBQ flavor and it taste like Maggie’s curry or something, taste familiar. Oh, this is my first time trying Potato Habit. The first branch is somewhere around Times Square.
I want to introduce Garfield! He’s my boyfriend’s cat, which I am going to take care now. So, in total I have thirteen kids! I have lots of black and gray cats, lets add Garfield in. Have to say, it is not easy to introduce Garfield with my other kids, which means Garfield have to stay in my room. You can guess what color Garfield is. And of course I will write a post about him soon enough!
March 31,
We’re going on a trip! 2.0 Well for this one its ‘quite’ far away, kind of. To Kunyit7lodge!! Kem went to UBD for a talk, Entrepreneurship Lecture, one of my class. I was surprised to know that “There’s a homestay at Kampong Ayer?” I – Want – To – Go – There! THEN! My boyfriend have an interview session with Kem today! Have to be honest, I enjoy all the history about the place, about Brunei Darussalam and more, totally love her place! I can’t stop staring outside, I mean LOOK AT THE VIEW!
Here is Kem’s Instagram. Please do check her Page out, also if you are interested to visit simply yes click that Follow button! It would be great for you to get to know about Kampong Ayer with her.

Thoughts and Feels
Last few months has been pretty pretty mentally draining. Grandma have been going in and out of hospital twice. Well it allows me to see who are truthful towards and who are not. Out of the last 3 months from being in hospital, out of hospital and in hospital for one more time. My grandma, will always ask me my age again and again. She will keep asking whether I have dinner or not and she will ask me when I booking in for several time despite telling her. Yes her memories are falling but her worries about my life at this stage never seems to go away. My grandma has been worrying for me in every stage of my life, from the day I was born. Helping my mum to take care of me with together with my eldest aunt when my mum was about to give birth to my younger brother. In primary and secondary school knowing that we struggled in our studies she will always promised to reward us with big angbao if we do well for our exams. When I first enlisted she was constantly worried about my well being in the army, and paying her a visit whenever I book out was a sign of assurance to her that her grandson is doing fine and surviving well in the army. Now at the age of 88 lying in hospital our constant topics whenever I visit her were two topics "she need to listen to us don't walk around herself w/o any support" and "it's time for me to find a girlfriend" My grandma has been telling me this since I am 20 "find a good girl, and settle down" being a cheeky me I will laugh it off and told her "aiya ah ma let me find a girl with 7billion dollars worth of asset and I will married that girl straight away" This is a good way to laugh it off but I know deep inside she don't want to see another of her grandson not getting setting down and spending the rest of his life being alone. I have been embracing the single life with mixed results after I enlisted but nearing towards the end of my NS journey it start to makes me ponder why I can't have one. On days spending alone in bunk staring at 4 walls while your bunkmates talking to their gf really sucks big time, or just alone here waiting for them to come back from their dates so that you know they can off the lights and sleep. I am good spending time alone going and doing everything alone, but sometimes when I see couples everywhere I will feel meh. I really hope that my grandma will recover soon and really live long enough to see who that girl that her grandson is dating or even longer to see me getting married and have children. There are still a lot of things I wish I can say here, but I shall not air the dirty laundry here. It has been quite mentally shag for me the last few months. Trying not to break down, and Hope all will be over soon.
