ok ... I do Not understand the fandom all deciding that Squilf should be with Shrewpaw instead??? Like..Shrewpaw was a background character that hardly interacted with her and then died PLEASE just let my girl be single

there's at least built up friendship between the two (even if it's a few scenes gotta latch onto those crumbs) and squilf did at least think of him as her best friend

i think childhood friends to lovers is popular and with the way squilf is often the book's punching bag, people thought it would be nice to reimagine a character who was actually her friend to someone who helped support her. i think most squilf ships are just "oh god. i wish you were with someone was nice to you for once" lol

i'm a single squilf truther too but you know, fandoms like shipping and as someone with a whole au dedicated to pairing up randos i would be a hypocrite to complain about that

OK! I hope you all enjoyed the first ~official~ chapter of the Steele Legacy :3 I know I sure did. I have a few other ideas for 'chapters' and we'll see where I go with it. But overall it's nice to kinda just let myself do what I want lol. I know I always could but sometimes I just need to give myself permission sTILL lmao.

Thinking of them here’s some headcanons :

- iris learns how to take care of jenni’s pretty curly hair so when she comes over she can do her hair. jenni likes it because she gets to spend quality time with iris and they talk and bond!!

- Thad enjoys when iris reads stories to him. He’s still kind of quiet and detached but likes listening to her voice. Sometimes he even falls asleep because he’s so relaxed

- all three help iris make food! Sometimes it goes well and sometimes it goes chaotically and they make a mess. But either way they all enjoy it especially when they get to eat whatever they made

- if iris picks thad & Bart up from school she almost immediately gets knocked over by Bart with a hug. Thad doesnt usually do this though.

- iris and Barry frequently babysit them all and take them out for ice cream or have movie nights.

- by a very small margin Bart is her favorite grandkiddo. She loves them all dearly of course but he is her baby ❤️

initial thoughts on DCAS episode 19

Emily has really been going full villain mode these past couple of episodes, huh? while I'm overall not a huge fan of how many women have been portrayed as rude/unreasonable as compared to their male counterparts, i do love an evil queen. i support women's wrongs.

oh, Gabby. how many people wish that were true. (very cute gabellie content as usual)

i wonder if this is a soft confirmation that we'll never see Gabby or Ellie compete again.

this is so important. also, Hunter, the heart is on Ally's pajamas, not her casual look with the jacket. unless he just drew that there because he loves Ally so much :D

glad that Tom can finally admit that he is a terrible liar. truly, the person Tom and Jake should blame is the hiring manager who hired Tom in the first place.

if you loved him this whole time then why did you lie to him about having another boyfriend, Tom? ,':/ (/lh) (i know that he was explaining in this scene that it's because he was afraid, i'm just saying that the extent of his fears is something that shouldn't be swept under the rug, and that i feel it wasn't properly set up enough in s1 or DCAS as a replacement. yes it was showcased in DCAS but we never got an explanation as to Tom's thought process between seasons that would change his mind to make him more fearful.)

this was probably my favorite line of the episode.

this was a really cute detail! even though they were both the archetypal "old person" of their season, Connor is still, like, 20 years younger than Miriam. it totally make sense that she'd still call him kiddo! just, not grandkiddo.

literally even Ellie is rooting for them to finish this plotline already. or maybe she's just feeling guilty for separating them in the first place, and she's lowkey hoping that the damage wasn't that severe.

that's... that's a crime? you can't just burn people, even if they're terrible??? i guess that, given Riya attempting to kill Aiden and directly breaking Connor's leg further, the definition of what counts as a crime is pretty lax in this universe. unless it's about destroying the environment. thanks, Tom! i wonder if this season is going to end with Grett giving Ellie a job/helping Ellie get a job. i could see fitness influencer and fashion designer working together well, as long as Ellie is okay designing athleticwear.

on one hand, i don't like that we don't get to have the finalists pick the people that they're closest with help them in the finale. this feels rather random, and in terms of real-world fairness, having a finalist get stuck with terrible help isn't very fair (i cite Top Chef season 4 as my example). however, i do appreciate how Disventure Camp always mixes the endgame up. it's not very fair in a real-world perspective, but given that it isn't a real game i appreciate the variety.

i also think that this is a nice fix to really incentivize whoever is helping the finalist after (in-universe) we had two really unpopular finalists, Fiore and James, who struggled to get any help. it feels like a reasonable decision that the in-universe showrunners would make.

Riya and Yul really are perfect for each other (platonic) because every time that either of them gets a chance to either repent and be a good person or double down and keep relentlessly chasing their goals, they both always choose the latter. they're gonna get punished in the finale big time for sure... to the extent that Yul hasn't already been punished by getting that scar(?) to the face. like, seriously, that could be even more damage to his career.

once again, i missed the real Hunter so much :,)

She’s been on my mind for quite some time but I finally got around to drawing her!

She’s Bradford’s mother but not Isabella’s kid, she’s the in-law! She used to be a flight attendant (my hc as to why Bradford knows how to fly aircrafts in the first place lol) and had to send Bradford away when he was little for work reasons (y’all know what I’m talking about), she and Bradford used to be very close! Probably a clingy baby haha, after he came back from his trip he probably would be even more clingy 😭.

They were close all the way up until Bradford graduated from college, that’s when he started going out into the world and started seeking work for his goals, they started to fall out of touch as Bradford distanced himself from his family.

Ester knows nothing of the final events and was probably living in retirement lol

In Brass Mirror I have a feeling she might want contact again with Bradford and she somehow meets Brass and she ADORE him (she adores all her possible grandkiddos ahsjjdjd), she isn’t aware of the Bradford clone situation so no one mention it at the dinner table-

Without another thought, Erik rushed forward and put himself between the car and the stranger, a hand raised as suddenly the car came to a complete stop, hovering in the air barely a foot away from him. The driver was, of course in a state of panic, staring around as they tried to figure out what had happened before Erik gently dropped his hand, lowering the car back down onto the road.

"Are you all right?" His surprisingly calm voice rang out as he turned back to the stranger, his other hand gripping the carrier bag tight. So much for keeping his head down, he might need to leave sooner than he'd hoped.

I admit you caught my attention with all that smut of the bot burns. Kade going from a hissy bot to a horny, hissy mommy is hilarious. He may be a mommy, a very good and devoted one, but he still has fire and lots of spice, or he wouldnt be the Kade we, and Wave, love lmao. Idk if you are into mild fluff, but Wave doting on his very exhausted mate and his horde of new babies is such a sweet image. Heat is an asshole, so is Kade, but he loves his spicy mate and his spicy bitties. We also need Kade fucking his asshole mate full of bitties too.

Also, I bet that Chief would be ecstatic to finally be a grandpa, and a dad again…all the beans, either his or grandkiddos, are gonna be spoiled rotten lol. We need him fawning over double pregs.

(also, and this is not a filthy question or anything like that, cause "EWWW" and "absolutely not" (we all are a bunch of horny disasters, but there are limits): poor angel Cody also got bot-ized? I´m curious to know your opinion, cause I cant imagine: a) Him not getting caught in the middle of the disaster as he always does, and b) I cant see his fam, especially Chief, forgetting about him during the panic of being turned into bots and even during the baby fever epidemic. Maybe he got turned into a youngling (fan version of a small kid or teen bot), and continued his life as he always did...doing his thing and being doted on by literally everyone in the damn household when they are not screwing like rabbits.)

Last intrusive though, I swear: idk why, but I have the feeling that bots, while they are a pretty much free race regarding love and sex (polygamous and polyamorous), they have a concept of monogamy, even if its rare. The bots went from constantly fucking each other to only fucking their humans and forming stable, and quite permanent, bonds with them...nobody else will do for them.

wwoo I can't decide if Cody gets bottified... I think it would be cute if he got turned into a cybertronian youngling and got to baby sit all the new additions. He'll love being an uncle. Even if Heatwave's and Kade's babies are just... horrible menaces.

And I don't know, I've always loved robot polyamory, I think the rescue team and rescue bots should get to fuck each other through and through... but then again, them sticking to their partner in a kind of obsession, that's really hot... Besides, it's more likely.
