I still wanna know what the heck Launchpad saw in the future that made him react to Louie’s remark like that. There was only one person we know of who did something this similar to taking the Time Tub. 

So, why would Launchpad seem to have...someone other than Della in mind...?

I think that scene was a lot less likely about him suddenly forgetting the story of Della taking the Spear. While I do suspect him of having memory issues, I think he actually overheard it as it was explained in “Last Crash” as opposed to HDL simply telling him about it afterwards. In "Shadow War", he emphasized that it was the boys who blamed Scrooge rather than accepting it as fact.

When the show was running, I was seriously hoping we would see Future!LP again...After "Timephoon!" aired, I thought he was foreshadowing the Moonvasion. When he didn't show in that finale, I then thought, "Oh, ok, he's going to show up in the one for Season 3!". There was all this "end of the world" stuff coming up over and over again, and Launchpad even had a surprising trend in the first half of the season...but that wasn't it either? And where was the eclipse? It appeared every other season...

I've been coming across comments here and there saying that the cancellation of the series caused the third season to stray away from what the showrunners originally intended. (Possibly mentioned in both the deluxe artbook and the Gallery Nucleus panel. I haven't read that version of the book...yet? I plan to watch the latter eventually.) I'm pretty sure it effected the things I'm wondering about, because based on other amusing instances in this show...I don't think it was just some random gag, or a cool element they didn't think much of; it's very notable that they did this with Launchpad of all characters. And the eclipse was too consistent to not happen a third time...especially with the Moon's focus increasing after Della's return...like...huh?? What was that about?!

I have SO many thoughts about DT17's cancellation and what we may have been supposed to see...I'll probably talk about it in a more detailed manner someday...probably somewhere else.

AAAAAAAAA SOMEONE ACTUALLYS WANTS TO KNOW ABOUT MY PJO AU?! ILL CRY 🥺💕

Okay! Okay! Where to begin...well we’ll start with the most pressing question (I assume) which is whose their godly parent! So for this au I wanted to do two things: keep Della as their biological mother and give them all the same godly parent, this made the possibilities kinda limited. As much as I LOVE Huey as a child of Athena, the other two wouldn’t really fit that description. This was an issue i found with MOST of the 12 Olympian gods. That is until realization suddenly hit me. There is only ONE god that would perfectly fit all three of the triplets, one that matched their mischievous nature, had some reference to their adventures and had at least one attribute that matched the kids. That’s right folks hdl’s godly parent is....HERMES! The messenger of the gods, patron to adventures, god of travel and roads, the jack of all trades.

He’s literally PERFECT! Of course Louie would probably be the most like his godly parent, but upon more research, Hermès actually fits really well with HD. Aside from the god’s mischievous nature, which the triplets possess, he’s considered a jack of all trades, great at everything but master of none. It was stated that Hermes was also the patron of anyone who used roads, aka doctors and merchants, so he was technically also a god of medicine and knowledge, this is were aspects of Huey come in. Hermes was the messenger of the gods, known to be the fastest of the 12, this althetics and speed can be see on Dewey, and well Louie has his father’s cunning smarts and kleptomaniac hands. Perfect fit huh?!

Now as for the actual au, plot wise, my ideas are still rather sparse. I know I want to make this au before hdl ever meet Della or know too much of her, and before the triplets meet Scrooge. So this takes place in the time where they still lived with Donald. Donald would know of their true identity, he’d know of who their father was but never mentions him, for fear that if they know sooner than the monsters come in faster. To weaken the triplet’s scent from monsters, Donald often moved them all around, they rarely stayed anywhere for more than 6 months (this can also tie in with the whole Hermès being the god of travel). Della is still missing, the same Spear of Selene plot playing out, except now Donald is mad at Scrooge AND Hermes, as they both had a part in it, etc. I also had this idea where HDL would go on a quest together, one requested from their father, in which they were actively searching for clues about Della. It would be Hermes’ way of trying to tell them what happened to their mother.

That’s really all I had for plot ideas, I’m still developing and hoping to come up with more ideas, maybe even add in other characters! If you have any questions PLEASE let me know. I love talking about my aus :).
