It's been almost 3 months since I landed this job as a Mission Coordinator. This was something I prayed for and something I've been wanting to do all these time. Everything seems to be great not until the past couple of weeks.

I feel like I'm just doing things alone. Seems like not everyone is appreciating what we do and it gets even challenging cos I'm working with a partner who I think is not aligned with my thinking. It"s kinda hard to live up to the expectations of the people who have entrusted this mission to me, to us. Am I not just good enough for the role? But they hired me. They must've seen something in me. Maybe I just need to assess where I'm at. I need to go back to where everything started and why I am doing these things in the first place? What is the goal? What does it really mean to be in mission? Is it just about the KPIs and the scorecard? (should just be a guide) Or is it about adding value to people's lives, encouraging them, highlighting the values and the culture of the company, setting goals and building structure?

I guess it's really hard to start off from scratch. Even more challenging to build relationships while thinking of creative ways to make sure that 500+ employees are motivated to go work. To juggle metrics and overseeing a partner, while not having a mentor yourself.

I really don't know what I'm trying to say here. All I know is that I wanna keep on trying. I want to continue the mission. If it means lowering down my pride, accepting that I do have my limitations, acknowledging that there are a lot of things to improve, learn and a lot of lives to touch, then so be it. Don't be too hard on yourself. Forgive.

Self, remember what He promised - "wag kang mangamba, di ka nag-iisa. Sasamahan kita, saan man magpunta. Ika'y mahalaga, saking mga mata, minamahal kita". Yes, you cannot do this alone but He can do it with you and the rest of the people He'll send your way. Your love tank is not full for you to overflow, but His love and grace are sufficient to cover all the people that you care for - your site employees, your family, your friends and yourself.
