Sukuna’s Death or Immortality?
Tumblr media
Some suddenly believe that the time has come for Sukuna to die or that he will now disappear. But I don’t think Sukuna will disappear so easily, let alone die. That would be too early and too hasty. Especially since we still don’t know or have seen the other rumors and stories about Sukuna. We still need an explanation for the connections between Yuji and Sukuna, Kenjaku & Jin, and also his other abilities. The guy has a lot more up his sleeve than what we’ve seen so far. As if he had gone broke and had no more surprises in store xD. The story portrays him as very strong, that no one has managed to kill him or properly defeat him. Because if he can really defy death, then he is truly a kind of immortal. That means you need someone special, a kind of prodigy or chosen one, who can manage to defeat Sukuna alone (defeat immortality). Because Gege finally revealed his inspiration from two divine beings that fit Sukuna, and one of them is a Conqueror of Death and the other something to do with healing, King of Wisdom, and protection, if I understood/read that correctly? (I don’t want to study Buddhism now otherwise I’ll wake up the next morning with a bald head, I swear xD). This has now been officially confirmed by Gege! I don’t know how much he is inspired by these two divine beings? Although he is making his own story out of it anyway! But that doesn’t mean that Sukuna is Yamantaka or Gozu Tenno personally.
My Theories for JJK Manga 264:
1. Before Hana uses her abilities, Sukuna has an immediate plan and manages to get away. Hana loses!
2. Unfortunately, Sukuna has no more chances and is driven out of Megumi and dies or is defeated.
3. Sukuna is driven out and Megumi is freed. But Sukuna survives, won’t give up, and comes back with a new plan.
4. Sukuna is driven out and Megumi suddenly learns to control Sukuna and Sukuna remains trapped in Megumi’s body.
5. Megumi doesn’t want to be saved and Hana’s plan automatically fails!

Did You Know That Naruto/Boruto Openings/Endings Foreshadow The Future?
You can tell a lot from the opening and endings of the Naruto/Boruto anime.
Here, I'm going to show you some opening and endings that may foreshadow the future (I may have missed some).
First, we'll begin with endings.
Tumblr media
In ending 4, team 15 had their moments where Namida and Wasabi were at a train station, whereas Sumire was seen walking in the rain.
Tumblr media
Still in ending 4 (pretty sure it's straight afterwards), you see Boruto standing in front of Konoha, which shows before and after it's destroyed.
I was thinking, Sumire's the only character to be walking in the rain, and then the scene straight after is Konoha being destroyed. You can faintly see he's angry.
Could it be because something happens to Sumire?
Why would this scene be straight after?
Sumire is the only character that's connect to Boruto, except Kawaki. Not Sarada, not Mitsuki, not Shikadai. Kawaki's connected to Boruto through Karma, whereas Sumire is connected through Nue/Gozu Tenno.
Boruto means bolt, which is connected to Neji's name meaning (screw), but let's not forget that it's also connected to storms.
Why would Sumire be the only one out of all the endings (I think) in a storm, then the village being destroyed straight after?
Sumire's name means violet, but the surname she took on means family tree/lineage. This could connect us to the Otsutsuki or Divine Tree, just like Nue.
So I was thinking that either something happened to her (like her death) that results in the destruction of Konoha, or something related to her will trigger Konoha's destruction.
Now we're moving onto openings.
Tumblr media
In opening 6, we see Sumire next to Hinata and Naruto, which reminds me of the next point.
Tumblr media
I’m not sure where this was on, but I remember seeing it.
If foreshadowed NaruHina, Hinata being near Minato and Kushina, just like SUmire's near Naruto and Hinata.
So could it be foreshadowing BoruSumi?
Tumblr media
In opening 7, we see Boruto, the only other character to be in the middle of a storm. But red is the color for rage. I believe this is connected to Sumire's storm and Konoha's destruction.
Could something happen to Sumire that leads us back to Konoha's destruction theory?
Tumblr media
Also in opening 7 (I didn't get a very good pic of it), we see Kawaki actually rebuilding Konoha. Could that mean he actually wins the Boruto-Kawaki fight that was in the very first episode?
Tumblr media
Next in opening 9, we see Kawaki with some white doves. White doves mean peace, new beginnings, love etc. So could it mean that Kawaki finally finds peace?
Maybe after the battle between him and Boruto and if they both survive, he helps Boruto and lives a new life of peace, similar to Sasuke, but instead stay in the village.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In opening 10, it shows Kawaki having red eyes.
Now, this is a wild theory, but could Kawaki have relations to the Uchiha clan?
Even in one of the manga covers, he has red eyes, just like Sarada's.
This could foreshadow KawaSara, or Kawaki just has relations to them.
Tumblr media
Finally, opening 10 shows Boruto in the rain alone. This could mean someone he cares about died.
Sumire, for example, especially after everything that we've already gone over.
Or Naruto and Hinata's "deaths". Or even Sasuke's (those are the people I think are most closest to him who have a bigger chance of dying).
I think I've missed some, I don't really watch the endings, so there's probably more, but for now, this is it. If I find out more foreshadowing, I'll make a new post.

Yin-Yang Trope:
Sumire has Gozu Tenno mark on her left hand (Lunar side) while Boruto has her Karma mark on her right hand(Solar side).
Mitsuki's eyes are the color of Eye of Horus(Lunar eye) while Sarada's are the color of Eye of Ra (Solar Eyes).
Mitsuki and Sumire are Yin-Type characters while Boruto and Sarada are Yang-Type.
I can go on talking about the trope,But i can tell that it's more likely for MitsuSara and BoruSumi to become Endgame especially after Sarada said Boruto is like her brother and the fact that Sumire was brave enough to confess her love for Boruto while Mitsuki has never shown to be intimate with any girl except for Sarada, and both of them are quite almost always seen with each other and in Sasuke shinden they even had a Tarzan and Jane moment when a romantic song was being played.
I'm familiar with Kishimoto's tropes, and the way Boruto treats Sumire/Mitsuki treats Sarada makes it more believable knowing what happened in OG Naruto. Like how many times we were teased with those SasuSaku panels? NaruHina scenes in anime? Yeah, you might get what i mean.

top five dl characters?
or if you need to narrow it down more, top five dl playable units + top five dragons
top five playable is answered here!
i do actually have a tier list prepared for the dragons too but if i have to narrow it down to 5 i think i would pick (in no particular order though i do think gozu would top the list):
gozu tenno
jupiter
ac-011 garland
cat sith
mercury
Tumblr media
i generally don't feel as strongly about the dragons as much as the playable characters, i've always really liked playable characters in particular in games and although i really like the bond between the human and dragon characters, my fondness leans more towards the human character. so it shouldn't be surprising that a lot of my favourite dragons are those that have connections to some of my favourite characters; gozu and seimei, cat sith and chelle and (to a lesser extent) jupiter and euden/alberius... i really like all of the pactwyrms and and archangels for the variety in the types of dynamics that they present but there are just some that i enjoy particularly more
garland and mercury are admittedly very aesthetic-based picks but i just... really like the way they look... i think every drgl fan has some kind of dragonfucker awakening moment if they weren't one already and i would personally point to these 2 jkdshkja i like mercury's humanoid design but it isn't what made me like her in the first place!!

Part of it is also the unfortunate confluence of Raikou being both divine (through Gozu-Tenno, a god with some association with plague and calamity) and oni (through her grandmother Momiji/Kijyo Koyo.)
So when both of those run rampant it makes her act up and the more divine ('less human') she becomes, the more Ushi-Gozen comes out to play.
Also probably because her dad abused her as a child.
huh i thought the oni bit was because of the divinity/how gozu tennoh is considered.
while it does say that kijyo koyo had a relationship with raikou's grandfather, Minamoto no Tsunemoto, and was pregnant from it, nothing confirms that said child was the one that raikou herself is related to. its likely his legal wife was still the one who had her own father, its just they share a bond via family tree

I am so scared that Bolt will pick Salad.
The Namikazes always pick from powerful clans with Kekkei Genkais (Uzumaki abilities/Byakugan/Sharingan) and pick girls that have a red theme (Kushina's hair, Hinata's scarf, and Salad's outfit).
I really want bsu to be canon, but it looks like bsa is.
he won’t. if he does, it’ll be a ripoff ns/sns and a more toxic version of ss because they both have jobs that keep them away.
that’s not true, actually. Namikazes don’t chose from powerful clans. Hinata was originally supposed to be a civilian, but I dunno why Kishi changed it, but now Sumire’s a civilian, so bsu is ahead of bsa because of that tiny detail. he already made Naruto end up with a powerful clan member, so I highly doubt he’ll do the same with Boruto, because that’ll just be a repeat of nh, except a more toxic version and Salad is useless.
that is a lie. Salad’s outfit is only red because it matches her mother, sorta since Sakura’s theme is pink. it has no special meaning or tie to Salad, whereas Hinata’s scarf was special and Kushina’s hair was special, too. Nue & the Gozu Tenno are both red, even tho Sumire doesn’t have the Gozu Tenno anymore, she still has Nue. Nue means something special to her.

So I've been down the rabbit hole again.
Ded received his present sack from Knecht Ruprecht right? I've been wondering if that was Veles or not but with a different name, like how Susanoo also went by Gozu Tenno. Theirs two reasons I have for this.
Knecht Ruprecht is essentially the equivalent of Krampus but originated in a different region of Germany. He essentially filled the same role of accompanying St. Nicholas to punish children. Both are considered the "bad" or "devil" counterpart to St. Nicholas or Ded, which is very similar to Veles who is considered the devil counterpart to Perun.
Veles was also a precursor to St. Nicolas. In earlier Slavic folklore Veles essentially did the same functions except his mostly revolved around protecting/giving cattle as well as crops instead of presents. When Christian beliefs moved in later on the figure of Veles was replaced with St. Nicholas, with Saint Elias being the equivalent to Perun in Russian folklore.
I think it's just altered a bit from LW interpretation with Veles being Knecht Ruprecht instead. Another important tidbit is that the other function of the present sack was to keep dual existences stable in one body like light and dark Ded. I think this pertains to Volos and Veles as well since Perun refers to Veles as a draconic being and in Slavic folklore dragons were seen as a chimera between a bear and a serpent, Volos is the bear half, Veles is the serpent half. Another thing is how Ded says that Knecht disappeared from the world afterwards and he could never find him.
If this is correct, I wonder how Ded would react.

Tumblr media
胎盤と月水(placenta & menstrual blood)から産まれ、牛頭天王の伴侶あるいは娘或いは変身した本人(captainompanion or daughter or Transformed)とされ、八岐大蛇(eight-headed, eight-tailed serpent (in Japanese mythology)だともされた、由来のはっきりしない謎の神。
蛇毒=snake venom / 気=air, steam??
(Gozu-Tenno itself is a mysterious plague god with an unclear history, but the festival of such a god is sometimes the biggest festival in Japan. I was born and brought up in this country, but Japan is truly a mysterious country.)

Gozu Tenno seal works kinda like Karma seal as these are vessels of other beings. Therefore, Sumire is like an artificial Jinchuriki could be an interesting foil to both Boruto's and Kawaki's Otsutsuki status. Sumire is not like other usual Jinchuriki (like Naruto's Kurama & Gaara's Shukaku) but more as vessel or gateway for Nue through Gozu Tennou seal (like Boruto's Momoshiki & Kawaki's Isshiki through Karma seals). Especially Kakashi told Naruto that Nue doesn't work like other summonings like Gamabuta or Aoda since they are from Earth but Nue isn't from this world. Hence, Naruto couldn't use Sage Mode to sense Sumire's Nue except for Boruto's Jougan eye & Naruto couldn't use Kurama Cloak since Nue absorbs chakra to explode. All that made Sumire a threat to Naruto & Konoha or even the world if it wasn't for Boruto's unique Jougan stated by Toneri about its connection to Nue's dimension being temporary closed.
Tell me more about an artificial Jinchuriki Sumire being an interesting foil to Boruto & Kawaki. Plus, I think only Sumire is still possibly considered a Jinchuriki as she still has major human part since Nue still works well with her yet independent due to Sumire could summon to control him through blood contract jutsu while Himawari is like Kyubi Biju itself in human form similar to Boruto & Kawaki being Otsutsuki in human form.
How is Sumire's artifical jinchuriki case different from Naruto's jinchuriki case ? Naruto's biological mother Kushina is also Jinchuriki of Kurama with Uzumaki bloodline which made her and Naruto could survive being Kurama's host naturally. While Sumire is more of ordinary human who was implanted Nue (an eating chakra monster like Ten-Tails Shinju clones) created through science-ninjutsu by her scientist father Tanuki which made her a weapon for revenge on Konoha. Kurama is Biju like other tail beasts from Hagoromo while Nue is legendary beast which isn't from Earth said by Kakashi…
From 2 statements, "Artificial Jinchuriki means in the sense that the person is like a living weapon due to permanently linked to a giant, volatile creature" & "An artificial Jinchuriki could be an interesting foil to Boruto's and Kawaki's Otsutsuki status" , could you explain more about what it means by being an artificial jinchuriki could be an interesting FOIL to them & is artificial jinchuriki different from jinchuriki ?
Additionally, perhaps those are reasons Sumire was tired due to her chakra reserves being drained by Nue consuming her chakra since she didn't allow Nue to suck chakra out of others after her former attempt incident. Now Nue could change size to tiger size or mini size on its own will and depends on Sumire's own chakra reserves which she doesn't have large huge chakra due to her being ordinary human without belonging to any clans or powerful bloodline like uzumaki clans with strong life force aka Naruto so Sumire had to learn how to control Nue via science by working with scientific tool team.
I will also conclude all I want to ask you in this post since I know you don't have times. I am really sorry for what you are going through irl now sincere. And I really hope you are doing well there. Best wish to you. 🙏🥰
Thank you. It’s been a difficult year.
So the Gozu Tennou seal was developed but incorporating Hashirama’s DNA, which is basically duct tape for any complex medical procedure. So that explains why the seal didn’t kill Sumire right away.
It is less clear how Root connected to Nue’s dimension. I recall someone, I think Sai, hinting that Nue could have come from an underdeveloped god tree on another world, given what he found at the abandoned Root laboratory. Boruto’s wikipedia says Nue was created when the seal was activated, suggesting he’s not a pre-existing summon spirit like Gamabunta or the snakes.
If Root used Hashirama’s cells in conjunction withe the Gozu Tennou seal, maybe his DNA is what ‘awakened’ Nue out of that dimension’s god tree. It’s theoretically possible since Hashirama is the reincarnation of the Otsutsuki Asura and thus a quasi-Otsutsuki himself. Once his chakra/DNA made contact with the tree through the portal, it could have activated the beast-creation process, kind of like how Kaguya’s DNA and chakra caused the Ten Tails to manifest from this planet’s god tree.
In the same way that the Ten-Tails is a combination of all the bijuu, it’s possible that, as a god tree chimera, Nue could potentially split into bijuu as well. So I guess that would make Sumire some kind of primordial jinchuuriki? It’s like if Root tried to reverse engineer the jinchuuriki process, but messed up since Nue is a chimera rather than a singular tailed beast. Which is probably why Sumire is physiologically less stable than Naruto.
But that’s 99% conjecture on my part. And I could be misremembering.

La muerte de Sukuna o la inmortalidad?
Tumblr media
