At work they were selling/throwing away a bunch of organization and ergonomic stuff so we were allowed to take as much as we wanted. I got two platforms for my laptop and monitor, some paper organizers, shelves, and a lil back cushion. My desk is so nice n clean now I even have a spot to display bones! Also caraibeners are the most useful accessibility tool I'm using two to hang up my vests/hats/field bag cause I don't have any actual hooks. I also use a carbineer to clip my water bottle and fan to my overalls so I don't have to carry them. Now I wish I had a setup like this at home, it makes doing work not painful and torturous.

last night I painted with acrylic paint for the first time - using a set of very cheap paints that I got for my 15th or 16th birthday (so they're about 15 years old). and it was... great?!

I had never used them for actual painting before, just for craft stuff (which is why I didn't have any blue paint left since I used that up). mainly because I can't stand the texture of dried acrylic paint, it's one of the worst textures ever (and there's so many bad ones...)

but painting with it was awesome??? damn, I wish I had tried it years ago!

so anyway I just spent a lot of money at the hardware store (they have a surprisingly good art section - they even have a pretty decent artist's quality brand, and not just sets but separate tubes too!)
