Random person in my AOT high school AU: Paradis High School is strange when it comes to who is dating who. Historia Reiss the most popular girl at that school and the cheerleading Captain is dating a guy who is quite attractive, but is affectionately referred to as a chaotic gremlin by people who know him. He is also draped head to toe in black and wears more eye makeup than she does. Annie Leonhart, the second most popular girl at the school who is also the star of the volleyball team and the track team is dating the school’s biggest nerd who has a bowl haircut and speaks mostly in comicbook and Star Wars references. Usually those girls would probably want to date Reiner Braun, the star of the football team, but he has a boyfriend who is very sweet, but is also very tall and awkward.

Falco: Is it Pokémon?

Eren: No, I have nice nostalgic memories about it, but that isn’t my all time favorite.

Gabi: Is it Fullmetal Alchemist?

Eren: That is a good choice, but no.

Falco: Is it My Hero Academia.

Eren: That is actually my second all time favorite anime, so no.

Gabi: Is it Spy x Family?

Eren: Historia just convinced to start that one since that is her all time favorite anime and it is really good, but no.

Falco: So what is your all time favorite anime?

Eren: My all time favorite anime is a little something called Berserk.

*after they finish watching Berserk Falco is hiding from what he just saw under a blanket fort while Gabi looks really excited*

Gabi: That was so cool.

Eren: So you want to start borrowing my copies of the manga so you can find out what happens next.

Gabi: Hell yeah.

Eren: Cool, you might want to them from your parents while you’re reading them, they wouldn’t appreciate a series like Berserk.

Mikasa leaned against the plastic doorframe, arms crossed, watching as Eren crouched inside the small, colorful castle he had assembled. Pillows lined the interior, and a tiny plastic chandelier hung overhead. His head just barely brushed the low ceiling.

"Babe, what are you doing?" she asked, her tone a mix of amusement and curiosity.

Eren, sprawled out on a tiny cushion, grinned as if he’d discovered the greatest treasure in the world. "I've built a princess castle for the girls! You know, for when they grow up!" His voice was filled with pride, like he was unveiling some grand architectural feat.

Mikasa raised an eyebrow. "I see that... but why are you using the castle?"

Eren’s grin widened. "Are you kidding? It's amazing in here! Perfect hideaway, the light is just right, and look—" he pointed to the little window cutouts, "the view’s not bad."

She couldn’t help but laugh, shaking her head. "I think the girls will have to fight you for it when they get bigger."

He waved her over. "You’ll see. It’s the ultimate fort—fit for a queen too."

Mikasa stepped closer, trying to hide her smile. "You’re ridiculous."

Eren, beaming like a child, patted the cushion next to him. "Come on, Mikasa. Room for two."
