Random Headcanons for aot Characters

[most of these are modern au of them, probably]

Levi owns a black cat named spooky, he found it outside and it followed him until he took it inside and fed it.

Armin ran into one (1) deaf person and vowed to learn sign language after, however he mainly just knows a bunch of random words since he's using free apps (same lol)

Eren is the type of guy that says "Cat's don't actually care about their owners" and he makes it known he prefers dogs over cats.

Levi loves horror movies, but every time he watches one he complains how the new ones are just "Cheap jumpscares" and that "No one knows how to make a good one anymore" with the acception of Jordan Peele and Ari Aster. He has a preference for psychological horror.

Armin also loves horror, but will jump so high at the slightest noise. He loves delving into the deeper meanings of each horror movie he watches. Has an appreciation for the scream franchise, however says that everything after Wes Craven should have never happened. (agreed)

Eren claims "horror movies are for nerds" yet will be found with his eyes glued to the screen of a random horror movie Mikasa and Armin wanted to watch.

Mikasa loves twilight and will defend it with her life. Eren hates twilight and will tell mikasa that it sucks balls. They fight about twilight a lot.

Jean wears scarfs for fashion, not for weather. He also has bluelight glasses he wears constantly because he thinks he looks hotter with them on.

Armin is a big fan of Legend Of Zelda, like has posters and shirts of it big fan. (real)

Armin has a necklace with a shell on it, Eren made it for him with a shell that Armin found when they went to the beach together.

Armin is an anime fan, namely demon slayer and chainsaw man. He loves the body horror of Chainsaw Man and the intricacy of the world of Demon Slayer. He has a cardigan of Tanjiro's haori that he wears pretty often.

Armin gets very bad seasonal allergies, and he carries allergy meds with him everywhere he goes in the spring. (might also wear a mask if its really bad)

Eren claims that seasonal allergies aren't real just to annoy Armin. In retaliation Armin sneezes at Eren multiple times if Eren is actively bitching about seasonal allergies being made-up.

Mikasa carries band-aids and advil everywhere she goes just in case. She also always has a water bottle on her, and it is always full. Everyone knows they can go to Mikasa for anything and she'll probably have it.

Mikasa refuses to carry a purse and instead wears a backpack or an equivalent. She says purses don't "fit her aesthetic"

Mikasa is goth. Mikasa has done goth makeup on each of the boys and has pictures of it. Armin was more than happy to get it done, saying he found it super cool. Eren was hesitant at first, saying he wouldn't look cool but gave in after a little bit. Jean gave in the second Mikasa mentioned that Eren did it.

Hange refuses to sleep with a pillow, insisting that it ruins their sleep if they use one.

Levi knows how to knit but tends to not tell people since he doesn't want people asking for him to make stuff for free. However sometimes when he has made something that no longer fits his style, he donates it or gives it to Hange.

Sasha volunteers as a soup kitchen regularly, and talks the others into it for their community service hours for school credits. Regulars at the soup kitchen know her and get excited when they see her, because they know the food will be bomb.

Mikasa loves horror books. She has an entire bookshelf dedicated to them and they don't all fit, some are stacked on the floor next to the shelf or laid on the tops of the other books. Very unorganized bookshelf but only because she has so many.

Levi did gymnastics and ballet as a kid. There are pictures. He will never let anyone see the pictures. He wanted to burn them, but his mother scolded him for saying such a thing so now they're in a box under his bed.

Mikasa cuts her own hair haphazardly in the bathroom with hair scissors she bought YEARS ago. At one point Sasha asked her if she could cut her hair for her and Mikasa whipped out a salon grade cut out of nowhere.
