Twins - Iris and Hermes(Hiris). Lore drop. The mother of the twins - Hela was sensitive to the outside world person and lived with a romanticized vision of the mother-daughter relationship in her mind. She didn't want to be just a mother, but a mother of a *girl*, where she would play the role of a parent, sister, mentor, and best friend to her offspring. It is unknown if she was pregnant before Hermes and Iris, but those twins were her last children. The woman didn't make it through childbirth well, but was very excited to finally have a girl giving her all her attention. Living a life of a glass child hurt Hermes deeply but the twins were so similar that they switched places sometimes. He had never guessed that he would have to take up his sister's role to the end of his life. The sudden death of young Iris devastated her mother, pushing her on the edge of sanity. She started to confuse Hermes for Iris, slowly declining her death, and even that Hermes ever existed. Due to loneliness and fear of being thrown out and forgotten - Hermes took his sister's place. He becomes Hiris.
