YOU SAT ON the bed, flat on your stomach as you scroll on TikTok. The entire team was out and you finally had some time for yourself.

You usually enjoyed away-games ─ the bus rides, the free food (most of the time), the hotels. However, this time it felt more stressful than usual. As you mindlessly scrolled through TikTok, the events of the past few days replayed in your mind. The pressure of the upcoming game, coupled with the tensions within the team, weighed heavily on your shoulders.

You sighed, setting your phone aside for a moment as you put your face into the sheets. The weight of responsibility as the team's manager felt heavier than usual today. You wanted nothing more than to see the team succeed, but lately, it felt like every obstacle was stacked against you.

The pressure was on, and you felt it weighing heavily on your shoulders. The team looked to you for guidance and support, and while you did your best to provide it, there were moments when doubt crept in. Had you made the right calls? Could you have done more to prepare them?

You were too keep in thought to hear the hotel room door until you heard KK's voice. "Gyatt,"

"Oh my gosh, shut the fuck up." Paige laughed as she rolled her eyes at KK's immature comment.

You turned around to face them, then sigh heavily and turn back to your phone on the bed. Nika came in a few moments later, exhaustion evident in her expression as she took a seat next to you on the bed.

You glanced up briefly as Nika joined you on the bed, offering her a small smile before returning your attention to your phone. Despite the presence of your teammates, you couldn't shake off the weight of your thoughts and the heaviness in your mood was noticeable.

Paige's and KK's laughter seemed distant as you continued to scroll through TikTok, the videos failing to lift your mood. Nika's arrival only added to the heavy atmosphere, her tired demeanor mirroring your own.

"Y/N, you good?" Nika asked as she glanced down at you, her glasses on the bridge of her nose slightly sliding down.

You nodded thankfully, a small smile on your face. "Yeah, just tired."

Nika nodded with understanding as she turned her attention back to her phone, the two of you tuning out Paige and KK. Your stressed-out mood didn't go unnoticed by the duo as they exchanged glances.

"Are you hungry?" Paige speaks as she glances at you. You look up at her with a confused expression, turning around so that you were sitting on your back. Before you could protest, Paige continued. "You look hungry. Wanna go get food?"

"Like what?" You mumbled as you looked back at Paige.

Paige scoffed as she glared at you. "Doesn't matter, just get up and let's go get food."

"I'm not in the mood, Paige." You gave her a stern look before picking your phone back up.

Paige was not having it though, she grabbed your arm and forcefully got you up causing KK to burst out laughing at her attempt. "Jeez, you're strong." You just kept glaring kept glaring at her.

"I'll even pay bro, just get up." Paige persisted, her tone firm yet laced with concern.

Reluctantly, you let out a sigh, feeling the weight of Paige's grip on your arm. "Fine, fine," you relented, giving her a small nod.

Paige and KK gave her each other a smile as you grabbed your bag, waving Nika goodbye as you left the room.

"So you're paying for me too, right Paige?" KK asked with a smile as Paige glared at her, causing you to laugh. KK then shot you a glare, "Why are you laughing, big-back?"

"Big-back?!" You repeated in disbelief as Paige bursted out laughing, KK joining in a moment later. "I hate you guys."

"Do you really?" KK asked with a grin on her face.

how negative content may have an impact over your manifestations

i feel like we need to have some talk about this and literally take a moment to realize what some of yall are doing YES IM TALKING TO YOU.

to start with, i know some of you literally DEVOUR negative media that ruin your day and im talking about like negative tiktoks, images with negative affirmations or whatever (if you have seen anything like this you know what im talking about)

the thing is, lets be honest even if truth may hurt, some of yall literally eat this media daily, save it and everything and then have the audacity to complain yall are not getting results or are not happy and im not surprised because listen

i used to watch negative media all the time, my tiktok fyp was literally filled with vents and stories of someones partner cheating on them or abusing them or like those tiktoks that are like "why doesnt he respond to me", "i just saw him talk to another girl lol" and i was watching this for hours. HOURS. not realizing how much its killing my manifestations and ruining my mood, the same with other media, sometimes i would go on pinterest and my page would be filled with those images with vents n shi and all of those bad stories that i wish to never happen on me

as i started seeing more of them, i genuinely even felt like something like this is going to happen to me because i was so overwhelmed with this REALLY

and i know sometimes you might find yourself overwhelmed with that media or just mindlessly scrolling and not even realizing what your mind is consuming, not even realizing what youre watching..perhaps? but listen to me, as i stopped consuming this media i felt so much happier AND THIS IS A SIGN FOR YOU OKAY THIS IS A SIGN FOR YOU TO PUT THIS TO AN END!!!!

because i was consuming this media so much (btw at that time i was super into manifesting sp stuff etc) that it literally put my manifestations DOWN I SWEAR

listen to me, if you consume negative affirmations daily and relate to it, going to the old story NOTHING will change, literally why affirm against a thing you want?? like some of yall want to manifest pretty face but then all tiktoks yall save, repost and like are like "gosh im so ugly" or like yall want to get rid of third party or make your sp obsessed but all yall are watching are people who complain or something else about how they sp will never love them and or that theyre talking to someone else and or that theyre getting replaced.......like i have no idea what some of you expect to happen by doing this but really for your own good just cut the negative media off, doesnt matter if it puts your manifestations down or not, i honestly feel that consuming a media that can actually benefit you, align to the highest version of yourself, media that can make you happy can actually change your life too, negative and positive are just two things and you decide which one do you want to surround yourself with

and listen to me, the day i cut the negative media off i felt happier and today im making sure to surround myself with media that i actually like, that make me happy and feel fulfilled

He got up and looked at you stunned not knowing what to do. His face mixed with regret and remorse, why'd he'd done that? he wasn't even sure with himself.

You cried running into the river, to try saving the bracelet from getting washed away by the currents. It was nearly impossible to find it as it was already getting dark.

You were frustrated to think about anything, to think about what to say, what to feel, what to do. He could've done this differently, but he didn't.

I was surprised to hear what they had said about me. Sure I was all of those things back then. It was clear they hadn't seen how I have already changed for the better, it was clear she didn't care if I did or not.

It hurts alot, seemingly because I had changed for them. I wanted them to see me. To notice how great I had become, how punctual I can be, how reliable, how loyal, how I really, truly, and deeply wanted them to reconsider us.

I frowned and shook my head. The disappointment I felt for them.

"You're not so better yourself. Just think about what you had done. Stop being a hypocrite. Just like me, you'd also done some things that are considered unforgivable to some."

They scoffed at what i said, it's like as if they don't know how to respond. If they don't want to fix this then there's no point in trying.

You groan as you shift uncomfortably in your spot on the couch. Your period had started early and it hurt so much worse than normal. Usually, you would be used to it, having periods for the past god knows how many years, but this time, it felt like you were being stabbed in multiple places, your abdomen, your legs and your head.

You were desperately waiting for your boyfriend sunghoon to get home from dance practice with the rest of the members so that he could go to the store with you.

The second you hear the door click open, you call out sunghoon’s name just to find him groaning in pain on his way in. He was clutching his stomach as he held on to the tv stand. You, now starting to think he’s mocking you and making fun of you, due to the fact that your abdomen felt like it was getting stabbed by the sharpest knife on the whole entire planet. So I finally got my EDS tests results back about 2 weeks ago, and thankfully I don't have it. However. The test isn't full proof so its more of 75% I don't have it 25% I do have it. So I scheduled an appointment to see my doctor and schedule surgery. I now realize I probably don't need an appointment to schedule surgery BUT it's kind of too late and I don't know how to go about it. I'm possibly going to call up the place today and see if I can just schedule the surgery, and still take the day off as I requested for said appointment. Which isn't until August 15th but gosh I need that to my self because fuck mentally I'm dead.

So I got diagnosed with anxiety when I was at the doctor's 2 weeks ago, anyone who knows me irl is not surprised by this. My therapist had been telling me for a year that I have undiagnosed anxiety. I was originally going to get tested for it said eh fuck it im doing just fine (also just kept procrastinating getting it til I said it's too much of a hassle). Was handed the GAD test and knew what was gonna happen. Took the test my doctor told me my score of 13 is kind of high (just googled it and that is a moderate anxiety result) and then said we will be switching up my meds. I have been on Lexapro for the past 2 years and Welbutrin was added on no more than a year later. Now I'm getting weaned off the Lexapro to get put on another medication (I can't remember what one). The withdrawal is real.

Originally I would just overheat or feel a little sick. Would get really bad anxiety, or bad mood swings in general. Then the past few days I've felt great and then all of a sudden *BOOM* no serotonin at all. Just feel tired and barely like a person. I feel like I'm dragging. Everything is annoying or overwhelming.

Tickling the Way to Friendship (Kate x Yelena)

Welcome to our first fic! We see your prompts and get started with them as soon as we can ❤️

Summary: Kate tries to pressure Yelena to play with her, but Yelena pushes Kate away as she has a headache. Eventually, Kate gives up and shuts herself away, leaving Yelena to feel bad, so goes to cheer her up when she feels better. (Word count: 1941)

Kate beamed as she saw Yelena alone in the couch in the living room. After everything that happened between them a few weeks ago, they still weren’t able to see eye to eye, despite Kate’s eagerness to befriend her. She sat down next to Yelena with a grin. “Hey! You wanna play some Dobble with me?” She asked her excitedly.

"Kate Bishop, while a good game is a good time, I am trying to meditate as I have an aching head as if stupid Clint put one of his stupid arrows in it," she said, wincing as she talked.

“Clint’s arrows are not stupid! He’s saved a lotta people with them.” Kate pointed out, still trying to get her to play as she got the game out. “Come on, I won’t even yell if that’ll help!”

"You already are yelling, Kate Bishop," Yelena replied in a groan, pinching the bridge of her nose as her head throbbed, her patience wearing slightly thin.

“I don’t yell!” Kate replied. “Come on, it’ll be fun!” She replied and started dealing the cards out, not understanding how much pain Yelena was actually in.

"Kate. Please. I am asking nicely. I cannot play right now. My head feels like it's going to explode." Yelena tried, now gritting her teeth.

Kate froze at the tone of Yelena’s voice. She bit her lip and nodded in understanding. She went to the kitchen and got her some painkillers and a glass of water, quietly putting it down in front of Yelena. “Im sorry… I’ll leave you alone.” She murmured quietly before swiftly heading up to her room.

Yelena lay on the couch for a few minutes before her conscious got the better of her. She went to get some fast acting migraine medicine, and within minutes her head felt better. She then went and knocked on Kate's door. "Kate Bishop? Would you like to play? I took some medicine for my head explosion…"

Kate sighed in response, feeling like Yelena was faking that she was feeling better. She kept her head on the pillow as she curled up a little tighter. “It’s fine, I’ll stay in here so I’m not a bother to you.”

"Kate Bishop you are not a bother, I was a head butt." She said and came into Kate's room anyway. She awkwardly sat on the bed, "I am ready to play now, really. Maybe Mac and cheese for dinner no? You love my macaroni and cheese."

“I’m not in the mood Yelena, it’s fine. I’m staying here so I’m out of your way.” Kate murmured like she had given up on trying to bond with Yelena.

Yelena frowned, her heart sank momentarily before the stubborn assassin found her resolve again, and gently poked Kate repeatedly, all over her back and sides to try to get her up. "C'mon Kate Bishop, you are not a quitter,"

“Guess I am today…” she mumbled, flinching at the pokes as she shuffled away from Yelena. “Give it up, Belova, I’m fine.” She muttered grumpily with a hint of sadness in her tone.

Yelena furrowed her brow, attempting to be playful, "Why are you flinching Kate Bishop? You are not a weakling, you are a warrior. So if I'm not hurting you why…" Yelena paused, realization dawning as her face contorted into a mischievous grin, "Bishop are you…ticklish?"

Kate’s eyes immediately widened at Yelena’s words, rolling to the other side of the bed as she shook her head. “No, no no, not at all…” she replied quietly, biting her lip as she curled up away from Yelena.

"Kate Bishop I see you biting your lip! You're ticklish! I had no idea! Oh my gosh!' Yelena smirked and immediately shook into her sides, and squeezed in gently.

“Nonono you don’t see anythING!” Kate squealed and burst into giggles immediately. “NEHEHEHEAHAHAHAH!”

"Oh my gosh Kate Bishop, you're so giggly! Ticktickticktickle!" Yelena said in her accent very quickly as her fingers skittered over her tummy and ribs and then into her armpits.

“Yehehehelena nohohoho!” Kate whined in between her fits of giggles, shaking her head as she shoved at Yelena gently as she tried to find a way to escape.

"Awwww Ticktickticktickle! You're cute when you laugh like this Kate!" She laughed and then skittered under her arms, "You're just ticklish everywhere!" The blonde smirked and kept attacking as she moved to straddle her.

Kate slammed her arms down against her sides, giggling hysterically with a high pitched squeal. “Nohohoho Yehehehelena why?!” She cackled out, blushing as she tried to shove her off.

"Because I made you sad and now I need to make you smile!!" Yelena cheered as she leaned down and raspberried Kate's neck as she tried squeezing her hips.

Kate whined and arched her back, trying to throw Yelena off as she kept giggling. “Nohohoho it’s not necessary!” She replied, still trying to shove at Yelena’s shoulders in an attempt to get her off.

"You can't escape me Kate Bishop! MUHUAUHUAHAA!' she said in her slightly awkward but completely playful tickle monster voice, "TICKTICKTICKTICKLE! THE TICKLES WILL MAKE YOU SMILE AND LAUGH JUST FOR ME!"

Kate decided to get playfully stubborn at that, shaking her head as she managed to hold Yelena’s hands away, her shirt had ridden up slightly from all the squirming she had done, but she didn’t realise it. “Nope, no it won’t…”

Yelena immediately spotted an opening, but feigned defeat, "Damn. And here I thought I had you," she said, pausing to add to the effect before dropping her head and raspberrying all over her exposed sliver of tummy.

“NONONO DON’T YOU DARE!” Kate yelped and shoved her shirt down, biting her lip when she realised she raised her voice. “S-sorry…” she mumbled quietly, trying to wriggle out from underneath Yelena as she felt bad.

Yelena laughed fondly, "Oh Kate Bishop, it's good to hear your big girl voice!" She smiled and then hugged her affectionately, sneaking tickles onto her tummy once more.

Kate frowned, wrapping her arms around her belly as she shook her head. “I’m too loud, which is why I’m refusing to laugh.” She told Yelena quietly.

Yelena's face softened, her eyes sad, "I am sorry, Kate Bishop. I was unkind to you. I should have just taken the medicine earlier instead of lying on the couch like a baby and then chasing you away…I have been meaning to have that girls time with you. Like I said once before. When I made the macaroni. And when you come to me and want to have such a girl's day..I chase you away,"

Kate shrugged. “I’m used to being pushed away, I get it, it’s fine. You don’t have to make stuff up.” She told Yelena, playing with the bottom of her shirt with a sigh, pretty much giving up on trying to be friends with Yelena at this point.

"No, Kate Bishop," Yelena pushed her down gently and poked all over her tummy, "I want to be friends with you!" She protested, and then smirked, getting an idea, "I'll tickle you till you agree to be friends with me!" She beamed and started skittering and scribbling all over her ribs, underarms, sides, tummy and hips.

The archer squealed in surprise as she burst into hysterical giggles, she shoved at Yelena’s shoulders to try and get her off. “Yohohou don’t hahahave to cahahahall me by my fuhuhuhull name!” She protested, yelping whenever Yelena touched her ribs.

"Katelyn you are so ticklish on your ribs!!! Tickle-tickle-tickle-tickle!" She cooed and spidered and shook in to her ribs.

“Shuhuhuhut uhuhuhup!” Kate blushed, squealing with laughter as she shoved at Yelena even more, trying hard not to let her full blown laughter escape her lips.

Yelena smirked, "Ohh is this a death spot?" Asked the blonde, "I've got Katttie, I've got Katieeee," she sang cheekily and skittered and scribbled all over her ribs, poking and kneading and prodding gently

Kate lost it whenever Yelena kneaded into her death spot, she shook her head as she was able to hold Yelena’s hands away from her sensitive body, feeling cheeky enough to even blow a raspberry at her since she thought she stopped her.

Yelena beamed brightly and leaned down and nibbled into Kate's ribs through her top, "Oh Katelyn, I am a spy, I can tickle you even when you have my hands," she said between nibbles.

“FUCK-“ Kate squealed with laughter and kicked out, not expecting the nibbles to get her so much as she continued to use her hands to cling onto Yelena’s to try and push her away.

"Awwww you're so cuuuute! Coochiescoochiecoochie coo!" Yelena tried, remembering Nat doing that to her when they were kids as she nibbled and kneaded in.

“I’M NOHOHOHOT!” Kate whined as she cackled and thrashed helplessly, not realising she had let go of Yelena’s hands. “SOHOHOHO MEHEHEHEAN!”

"Awwww is it??? If you'll agree to be my friend, I'll stoooop!" Yelena cooed and kept kneading and shaking in rapidly.

Kate couldn’t answer between fits of giggles, she just shook her head stubbornly before rolling onto her stomach.

Yelena pouted, and then sat on her back before poking around Kate's thighs, making the young archer gasp and kick out a little. “Don’t you dare…” she threatened.

The blonde widow smirked, "Ohhh?" She said before bouncing spider shaped fingers all over the brunette's thighs, "Or else what?"

“IHIHIHI WIHIHIHILL EHEHEND YOHOHOHOU!” Kate yelped and cackled, kicking out as she tried to buck Yelena off her.

"Oh is that so Pretty Cutie Purple Arrow Warrior?" She cooed and kept bouncing and spideringly the backs of Kate's thighs until Yelena got a better idea and scooted down to her feet, pulling her socks off and running a finger up each arch. "Are your feet ticklish?"

Kate groaned at the nickname, but yelping the second Yelena touched her feet. “Nononono Yelena I will kill you…” she threatened, already beginning to giggle nervously.

"I've been threatened that before and yet, here I sit," she smirked and tickled all over Kate's feet, "Coochiescoochiecoochie coo! Ohhh I know!" She said and then played with Kate's toes, "This pig went to the market, this one home, this pig had roast beef, he has none, and this little one cry like a baby aaaaall the way home!"

“I’m not a little kid!” Kate whined, cackling when Yelena fluttered all over her sensitive soles. “You’re such a jeheheherk!”

"Awwww but your feet are so ticklish! Ticktickticktickle Katie cooo!" She cooed and smirked as she tortured her for a little while longer, "So, are we friends? Can we play?' she asked as she slowed her tickles just barely.

Kate blushed, giggling and shaking her head playfully. “Nohohoho you suhuhuhuck!” She giggled out cheekily.

"No I blow," Yelena smirked and suddenly turned to tug Kate's shirt up again, this time raspberrying her sides and squeezing in rapidly, causing Kate to cackle and thrash around. “NAHAHAHAHOOOOOO!” She squealed. “OKAHAHAY FIHIHINE!”

Yelena ceased her tickles, smirking cheekily. "So we're friends?"

“I-ihihif you really want to be…” Kate replied, trying to recover between fits of giggles, shoving her shirt down with a shy smile.

Yelena beamed, "I really want to be friends," she said, taking the young archer into a tight hug and rubbing her back. Kate blushed in response. “Okay, as long as I’m not too annoying…” she murmured quietly.

Yelena winked, "If I ever do get annoyed, I'll just tickle you to pieces like this and remember you're adorable!" Kate just rolled her eyes fondly, blushing a little as she shoved at Yelena.

Tsukishima

You and Tsukishima have been dating in your first year (as you both went to the same middle school together.)

You were in love with Tsukishima, you always have been to be honest, but once you became officially boyfriend and girlfriend your feelings amplified.

But recently, Tsukishima hasn’t been so nice.  

“Y/N we’re going on another training camp at Nekoma” Hinata exclaimed running up to you, as you leaning against Tsukishima “and you get to come too this time!”

You recently became the new trainee manager as the third-year manager, Kikyoko, is going to graduate. Tsukishima acted as if you being around all the time in practice was the worst thing in the world, but Yamagucchi always assured you that ‘Tsukki’ was just joking.

“Oh well that’s fun...” you say entertaining Hinata’s excitement. You were kind of excited to go to the training camp too, as it was in Tokyo after all. You were always a big fan of volleyball as your dad used to play for the national team and you were planning to play on the girls team this year but you felt that you didn’t have the body for it (which was obviously not true.)

Hinata kept on rambling on before Tsukishima insulted him. “Gosh Kei, you don’t have to be so rude.” you complained, he slightly nudged you off of him and put on his headphones showing you that he was not in a good mood.

You let the rest of the practice continue, making notes of things and basically being Kiyoko’s shadow. As it ended, you waited outside for Tsukishima to walk home with you, but one of the guys told you he left 5 minutes ago. You knew there was no point of chasing after him so you just walked on your own, making you sigh in defeat.

Tsukishima was what you would describe as hot and cold. Some days he was fine a ‘perfect gentlemen’ but other days, days like this Tsukishima was just Tsukishima.  

When you got home, you decided to watch matches of all the other schools just to get some insight. You were watching a Fukarodani V Nekoma match from a few years ago and something caught your eye, well someone did to be more specific. A beefy, bicolour haired boy who was hooting like an owl was mesmerizing to watch.

You saw that his name was Bokuto Koutarou which triggered your next actions, which were to internet stalk him. You learned that he was the captain of the team and the team’s ace and the 5th ace in the country which piqued your interest in the boy even more.

‘This is going to be an exciting training camp’ you think to yourself before going to sleep.

`Kiyoko gave you an itinerary of all the things you should bring, since you weren’t going to be joining in any of the matches you were reminded to bring things that would keep entertained.  

You get to the bus at the crack of dawn, ready to be driven to Tokyo. Hinata and Kageyama were already arguing (let’s pretend that they didn’t have to do the retakes in the test) Tanaka and Nishinoya were being loud, and the rest of the members were already asleep. You wanted to sit next to Tsukishima but when you were about to sit down, he put his carryon bag in the seat next to him.

The bus ride was around 4-5 hours, and you spent your time reading and sleeping. Daichi got the loudmouths to calm down making the bus ride more tolerable. You suffered from slight motion sickness but you powered through.

When you arrived there, you saw all the other teams and their buses too. You felt a bit overwhelmed, seeing these tall boys just crowd around an entrance way. But too your surprise, noticing your slight anxiousness, Tsukishima grabbed your hand in a hand-hold.  

The Nekoma coach, explained how the day would pan out and where each team would be residing for the week. There was a lot of commotion getting everyone settled, Hinata and Nishinoya were basically bouncing off of the wall commenting on all the people and the place and how they’re going to ‘crush the competition.’  

You could tell that when the other teams were looking at Karasuno they were all staring at Kiyoko. Inquisitive about how there wasn’t only one girl manager but there was two. As you were walking your eyes locked with Bokuto Koutarou’s making yours widen, you blush and turn your head quickly.  

What you didn’t know was, after your small interaction, Bokuto elbowed Akaashi and said “Akaaashi AKKAAASHI, did ya see that? did ya?” he was flying with happiness “That girl from Karasuno smiled at me. She’s really pretty.”

“I think she’s from Karasuno” Akaashi said “So maybe you’ll see her around”

Bokuto stared off in the direction you were walking in “Yeah, hopefully.”

The first day, everyone got settled in and then the teams went straight into games. There were two different gyms and today, in gym 1, you were watching Karasuno V Nekoma. (By the way I literally don’t remember the teams at the training camp besides Nekoma, Karasuno and Fukarodani.) The game was very back a point each team making point after point, you already knew of Nekoma’s captain, Kuroo Testurou and the setter Kenma, you’ve actually played games with Kenma online before so you were fairly acquainted with him already.

The games ended and it was now dinner time, the canteen was packed with all the boys rushing to line up for the food. You waited at the back of the line, not really caring about when you got your food. Suddenly, you felt a tap on your shoulder and you looked over to see Boktuo,  

“Hi.” he said “I’m Bok-”

“Bokuto Koutarou!” You finished “I'm a big fan..” you cringed immediately at your excitement ‘pull it together Y/N’ you scold yourself.

“Oh well hi, I’m glad you know who I am” he said “and may I ask for your name?”  

“Oh I’m Y/N L/N” you say with a slight blush “I'm the trainee manager from Karasuno.”  

“Cool! Well I hope to see you aro-” he starts  

“Y/N, I’ve been looking all over for you, I already got your food for you.” Tsukishima said pulling at your arm a bit harshly, dragging you over to a table with the Karasuno team.

“Gosh Tsukki, no need to be so harsh” you say rubbing at your wrist, he didn’t apologize and just started eating his food.  

You look down at your plate and see the small portion that Tsukki got for you. The Karasuno bunch was being loud, as they usually are, so when you whisper “Tsukki what the fuck is this” whilst nudging him in the side, he didn’t hear you (or atleast he pretended he didn’t.) You tried again but a little louder saying, “Tsukishima what the fuck is this.” you realised you said it a bit too loud as the whole Karasuno table stopped their conversations to look over at the slight commontion you caused.

“What do you mean Y/N?” he said with a slight smirk on his face.

“I mean what’s with the portion size of a bird that you gave me?” you ask getting upset “Do you really think im that big?”

“Well, you could start eating less that’s for sure.” he said earning gasps from you and some of the people sitting at the table “Y/N let's face it, you eat like a pig and you look like an elephant, me making your food portion smaller is the least I could do.”  

By now you had tears in your eyes, Tsukishima was a dick. You knew this, everybody knew this to be honest, yet you still loved him. He wasn’t like this in middle school, yes he was a bit snarky and rude (but wasn’t every middle schooler?) High school Tsukishima was like a completely different person. As much as you wanted to run away and hide, you knew you couldn’t.  

So you stood up and said “Tsukishima, I’ve spent 3 years loving and pining after you, because I thought you were this great guy, but turns out you’re a huge asshole” you start making some of the people listening in smile in laughter “Tsukishima, I’ve hated this past year dating you, you’ve been such a huge dick and I’m finally stopping you. I can’t do this anymore. I won’t.” You start making your way to exit before finally saying “Oh and by the way I’m not the pig here, you are... oh and I’m breaking up with you.” You left, hearing a few laughs and some claps behind you.

You felt relieved, like the massive cloud that’s been over your head is finally gone. You went to the gym since you knew it was empty and picked up a ball to just throw it around a bit. After a while of ‘de-stressing,’ you hear someone else enter the gym.

“Oh I didn’t know you’d be here.” said Bokuto  

“Well here I am,” you say awkwardly “I can leave if you want me too, I know this is for actual volleyball players.”

“No no it’s fine you can definitely stay, in fact do you mind setting for me?” he asks  

“Sure, of course I don’t mind” you reply, excited you get to play with someone.  You haven’t played in ages, you always begged Tsukishima to just throw a ball around with you but he never did.  

You set to Boktuo a lot, with him always asking for ‘another one’ everytime he spiked the ball. Eventually, you were tired of setting and wanted to spike. You originally was a spiker to begin with taking after your dad. Thats why you took a liking to Bokuto in the first place cause he reminded you of the joys you had when watching your father play.

Bokuto set a ball to you and you spiked it with great strength and accuracy smiling at the burning feeling you felt in your palm.  

“Woahh” Bokuto shouted going towards you in amazement “Where did you learn how to spike like that?”

“From my dad, I don’t know if you heard of him before but my dad’s name is D/N L/N...?” you say

“D/N L/N, Y/N he is my idol!” he shouted again “I want to be just like him.”

“I think you can, I see a lot of similarites in the way you both play.” you say

“Really! And you’ve seen me play before..?” he asks

“Yeah, I watched some of your games before coming here... you’re really good” you shyly admit.

“Wow.”

You and Bokuto spend the rest of your time, talking about volleyball you’re interests, things you have in common, your likes and dislikes. Talking to Bokuto was refreshing, he didn’t randomly insult you or make snide comments about your weight or your looks. He just genuinely looked happy to be there talking to you, unlike Tsukishima.  

Seeing your change in mood, Bokuto stops talking and asks “are you alright? I forgot to ask earlier, but I saw what happened in the canteen and I hope you’re okay.”  

“Yeah I’m fine, it’s just things with me and Tsukishima reached a breaking point, I guess...” you say sniffling a bit talking about it “But it’s fine now I’ve broken up with him and I feel better already.”

“So you’re saying your single...?” he asked blushing a bit

“Yeah I guess I am...” you smile blushing also.  

“Okay great...well I hope this isn’t too forward after everything happened with Tsukki and all but...” he starts “but would you like to go on a date with me?”

“Who me?” you ask as if you weren’t the only other person in the room

“No the volleyball” he responds sarcastically “Of course you Y/N.”  

“Are you sure, cause to be honest Bokuto you’re a really good-looking guy” you say making him smile widely “so I think you need someone to match your level in attractiveness” you look down and his smile drops.

“What do you mean?” he asks before realising all the stuff Tsukishima said about you “Y/N you’re beautiful, your face, your body just you.” you blush at his words “when I first saw you when you were walking past us in the entrance way the first thing I thought and said about you was “Akaashi who is that girl she’s beautiful.””  

“Really?” you ask with disbelief

“Mhm” he nods excitedly “So will you go on a date with me?”  

“I guess so...” you say a bit unsure

“HEY HEY HEY!” he exclaims “I gotta go tell akaashi!” he runs out of the gym in a hurry making you laugh, but he comes back to give you a quick unexpected kiss on the cheek making you smile.

You checked your phone for the time realising that you’ve been with Bokuto for 3 hours and you knew that everyone would be going to sleep now. As you are the manager you slept seperately from the rest of the team but before you went to your sleeping quaters you went to Karasunos.  

“Y/N where have you been? We’ve been worried about you.” asked yammagucchi  

“It’s fine yams don’t worry about it, guys” you say catching everyones attention “I just wanted to apologise to you for my outburst at dinner, it wasn’t my intention to cause a scence.”

“It’s fine Y/N” said sugawara “He definitely deserved it.”

“Yeah as your marvellous senpai we gave him a good telling off” said Tanaka and Nishinoya  making you chuckle.  

“Okay well thanks guys, I’m going to sleep goodnight.”

“Wait Y/N can I speak with you.” asked Tsukishima gesturing to outside the room

“Umm sure” you respond following him into the corridor.

“I just want to say I’m sorry for the things I’ve said and done over the past year and how I’ve been a terrible boyfriend, you don’t deserve that. So, I’m sorry.”  

“I can’t say I can forgive you yet.” you say making Tsukishima look sad “but maybe with effort from you we can become friends possibly?”  

“Just friends?” he said with hope in voice thinking that you could be something more.

“Just friends.” you repeated and confirmed “Besides I have been asked on a date”  

“With who?”  

“None of your business stingyshima” you mock the nickname that Hinata calls him making him scowl and you smile “Goodnight.”

After Bokuto’s confession and Tsukishima’s apology, the rest of the training camp went off without a hitch. In your breaks and lunchtimes, you got to know more about Bokuto and with Kuroo’s help you even got to sneak out to actually go on your date. You sometimes even went to practice with them getting to show off your skills, with Bokuto cheering you on and complimenting you every single time.  

Tsukishima kept his distance for the most part, and kept the snarky comments about you and Bokuto to himself (even though he was dying to say them.) You eventually fully forgave Tsukishima in your 3rd year but you definitely weren’t as close as you used to be. Tsukishima’s comments and actions did affect you for a while however with the help of your loving boyfriend, you were reminded how beautiful you are no matter what weight, shape or height you were.

You and Bokuto stayed together, you made sure to come to every one of his games and when you introduced him to your dad he fainted on sight. Your dad and Bokuto got along, and became very close friends, Bokuto always came to him for advice (especially volleyball advice.) You loved Bokuto and he definitely loved you too.

AN: I hope you liked it, since I didn’t want to make it too similar too the Atsumu insecure one. And I feel like it dragged out a bit but got rushed in the endd....but oh well...

omg yes YES, that guy thinks of her 24/7 fr, like who tears a girl away from his best friend just to kiss her (bc he missed her enough to search the entire house?! CMON).
