“Laios, you're so special to me.”
Currently you lay on the hard and rocky floor of the dungeon. Pebbles and sharp edges poked your soft flesh and the back of your head started to ache from being pushed against its hard surface. But how could you possibly pay attention to that when you have the world's most handsome explorer in between your thighs. If you would've known that this is how confessing would've turned out you would've done so much much sooner.
Laios and you had shared mutual attraction for each other for sometime now. You, of course, noticed it much earlier than Laios ever could've. He was such a cutie, even though he was doing his best to hide his affections towards you it was impossible for you not to notice his longing gazes at night by the fire, or the extra portions of food that he would put aside for you. You would have been a fool not to notice any sooner.
Knowing Laios for as long as you have you knew that approaching the subject subtly was not going to work out with Laios. When it came to romance, it was not going to cut it. The love of your life was caring, sweet, and knowledgeable on all things monsters and dungeons, but he was not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed when it came to social cues. You didn't mind of course, that was one of the things you found the most endearing about him. No matter how wary he was of other people and their intentions he always did his best to stay as genuine and sincere to himself as he could. The way he was so brave and willing to be unapologetically himself made you look up to him and admire his strong will. But gosh was he dense.
Swallowing your own nerves you knew that if you wanted this relationship to advance anywhere you were going to have to to set things in motion. Not wasting any time one evening after eating a dish that consisted of harpy eggs and vegetables from senshis garden you volunteered to accompany Laios on a quest to find some extra fire material.
Walking alone in the dungeon halls was not the most romantic ambiance or the place where you imagined you would have your love confession in - but this was Laios you had fallen for, confessing here was probably his equivalent of a grandiose cherry blossom confession.
He had been rambling about his dream monster, something he had only spoken to you about, apart from his sister Falin, before you interrupted him. “I'm so sorry Laios, you know I love your monster talk…but there is something important I have to talk to you about.” you wrung your hands into the fabric of your long skirt, twisting and pulling to find confidence in between its threads.
Sensing your nerves Laiois placed a gentle hand on your shoulder and nudged you to turn your body slightly towards him. His gorgeous puppy dog amber eyes peered into yours and scanned your face over, you guessed he was checking you out to see if you had any injuries bothering you. In return you averted his own gaze and stared down at your fidgeting hands. Finally he spoke up to break the silence, “Hey? Everything alright? Did the food not settle well with you?”
Oh silly Laios, always thinking about food, If you weren't so nervous right now you would've laughed at his question. Shaking your head you found the courage to lift your eyes back to his.
You knew that Laios at least held some sort of affection towards you. You were still unsure if it ran as deep and as passionate as your feelings for him but you knew there was something there. You also knew that even if Laios wanted nothing to do with you in that way he would never belittle you for it. He was gentle and kind, a little too much sometimes, but he always treated others with respect. He had never done anything to hurt you purposefully. So you weren't quite sure why you felt so shaken by your attempt to confess. You supposed, that is just what love feels like.
You really hoped it would get a little less scary in the future.
“Laios, I think I love you.”
There, you said it. As blunt and straight to the point as you could, You made sure to leave nothing up to interpretation for Laios. You wanted him to fully understand the gravity of your feelings for him. Feeling anxiety crawl up your throat you quickly added “And it's okay if you don't feel the same way. Or if that's too much too soon. I just wanted you to know.”
The more you spoke the more you felt your voice die in your throat, each word sounding quieter than the last. Laios had still not said a word, but he stared at you with wide eyes and a slack jaw. In this moment you felt like you could puke from your nerves and yet you still thought the man in front you couldn't possibly look any cuter,
Suddenly you heard him take in the biggest breath of air he could muster, alerting you that this man had stopped breathing since you confessed to him, and then exhaled with the most hearty laugh you've ever heard come from him. His cheeks bloomed in hues of reds and pinks, unstoppable rivers of blood that reached the tip of his fingers and pooled to his neck. His eyes blinked rapidly as if he was trying to make sure he wasn't in a dream. “Please,” he hiccuped, “Do you mean it?”
You stared at his face before lowering your gaze to his lips. They were slightly parted and you could get a glimpse of his cute pink tongue. He must've noticed your stares because he let his tongue quickly swipe over his lips to wet them. Gazing back up to his eyes your hand finally let go of its death grip on your skirt and instead gently nestled into the side of his face. “I wouldn't even dream about joking about this Laois.” His eyes suddenly felt too intense for you so you closed your eyes and took another deep breath, “I love you and I can't contain it anymore. From the moment I met you I fell so deeply for you. You're so perfect. So kind.” You rubbed gentle circles on his cheeks, “‘You drive me crazy.”
Every word you spoke felt like a punch to the chest for Laios. In the best way possible. He never knew that hearing you sing such praises about him would affect him so viscerally. To his embarrassment he began to feel his pants become uncomfortably tight. “Not right now,” he thought. He didn't want to ruin your confession with his pervy thoughts.
He brought his hand up to your wrist and held it in his grasp. You observed how his eyebrows crinkled in frustration as he shut his eyes tightly. His breathing seems labored and small beads of sweat began to form on his hairline. If it wasn't for his grasp on your wrist you would have fallen backward from the overwhelming amount of desire you felt for him. Gods…you wanted him so bad.
Taking advantage of his closed eyes you let your own travel. You started off by staring at his lips still moist from his tongue, but your sinful desires seemed to take full control of your actions as you let your eyes wander further down his body. His armor in the way of you admiring his chest annoyed you for a second before you got a glimpse of something better. So this is why he was in deep concentration.
Laios was suddenly shook from his stupor when the sound of your airy laugh reached his ears. Slowly peeking his eyes open he was welcomed by the sight of your beautiful face. Eyes clouded with something he couldn't describe stared directly at his current source of frustration. Gasping he pushed himself back and dropped your wrist as if it had burned him.
He opened his mouth once, twice, three times to attempt and get some words out but for the life of him he couldn't form a single coherent sentence. A thousand things ran through his head and now it was turn to fidget with his hands. Pulling and picking his fingers he turned his body to face the wall behind him. He knew his silence could be taken wrongly and the last thing he wanted was to mess up his chances with the most beautiful woman he’s ever met.
Thankfully, you knew the man you had fallen for better than you knew yourself. So you allowed him to have his moment alone. After all, you were more than pleased with his reaction to your confession.
Finally he turned his head to the side, body still facing the wall, and began to speak up. “I'm sorry, I promise I'm not a perv. I don't know why I'm reacting like this,” He took in another deep breath, “You deserve a more romantic response.”
Giggling you made your way towards him and wrapped your arms around his armored torso, resting your head against his back you let out a content sigh. At this sudden feeling of warmth Laois tensed up before he quickly relaxed in your arms. “You're perfect Laios.”
Fuck.
He was so fucking hard. Did you even know how much power you had over him? How all you had to do was ask him to give you the world and he would do it. You could ask for the moon and the stars and he would spend his entire life figuring out how to do it. He loved you. Oh he loved you so much. Gods, the minute he laid eyes on you for the first time, you introduced him to a thousand new emotions he had no idea what to do with for the first time in his life. He knew what attraction was, and he understood what it meant. But love? This type of love? He wanted to learn everything about it solely with you.
Gaining confidence he flipped his body to face you, careful with your arms as he held them against himself. You could've melted in his arms right then and there, he looked at you with such adoration and love you almost felt bad about how much it excited you…almost. Testing the waters you pushed your body against his, feeling his boner poking your body.
“Hmph- wait (y/n),” his face becoming impossibly more red than before. He laid his head on top of yours and breathed in your scent. There was no way he was going to be able to control himself for much longer if you kept testing him like this.
Feeling bold, and a little impatient, you positioned your arms to wrap around his neck and brought your lips to his ear to whisper “It’s okay baby, I feel the same way too.”
You gently grabbed his, very sweaty, hand and placed it on the hem of your skirt. “I want you Laios,” his fingers curled around the hem, “If you want me too then I'm all yours.”
That was all he needed to hear. Almost too fast your skirt was pooled around your ankles and the cold dungeon air kissed your bare legs. Still pressed against him you not only heard but felt the vibrations of his almost animalistic growl he released.
Gently separating from him you reached for the bottom of your shirt and pulled it off, discarding it on the floor. You wished there was a way to permanently tattoo the sight of Laios staring at you as if you were an angel sent from above into your eyelids. He made you feel so loved, so beautiful. One of the many reasons why you fell in love with him.
He quickly reached out for you once more and attacked your lips with his tongue, he wanted, no he needed, to taste you. Hot breaths melted into each other and moans danced together in the air. Your fingers wrapped around his ash blonde locks and slightly pulled whenever he would bite down on your lower lip with his teeth. As dreamy as this felt, there was still something bothering you. Tilting your head away from Laios you watched as he instinctively tried to follow your lips before you rested your palm against his. “I dont think it's really fair that I'm the only one half naked here.”
Gasping at your confession Laios began to fumble with his armor. Amused you watched as he clumsily pulled it off with a sense of urgency. Now Laios was not the type of person to hyperfixate on his body. He never really put in the time to debate whether he was handsome or not. His mind was always preoccupied with monsters, food, dungeons, and only recently you. But now that you were in front of him, waiting and watching, he felt the ugly sensation of insecurity make its way into his mind. Maybe you would take one look at his body and wish you were with someone more toned and ripped. He wasn't the skinniest guy, and for the first time ever he didn't like that.
You noticed he was hesitating with removing his shirt and it honestly broke your heart. So you approached him and placed your hands on either side of his cheeks, squishing the fat causing his face to contort into an adorable little pout. “We don't have to do anything you're not comfortable with love,” you gave him a little peck on his pouty lips, ”But trust me when I say I love you. ALL of you. Including your body.”
Oh…you were not real. That's all Laios could think. How on earth was there such a perfect person? An actual Goddess walking amongst mere mortals like him. How did someone as perfect as you fall for someone as strange as him? He didn't notice it but his eyes started to sparkle with unshed tears. For so long he's been alienated from this type of affection. Something he didn't know was bothering him deep down inside until he finally got it from you.
He swore right then and there he would do anything to make you feel good. If you were a goddess then he was your most loyal worshiper. He finally removed his undershirt and stood before you bare chested. Before you had time to admire him he kneeled at your feet. “Laios? What are you doing?”
“(y/n)...” He lifted your right foot and placed gentle kisses on it, “I'm going to show you just how much I love you.”
Your words died in your throat as you watched him begin to trail his kisses from your foot to your ankle, and from your ankle to your leg. Every time his lips made contact with your skin your core pulsed with desire. His eyes never breaking contact with yours. Mentally imprinting your cute expressions and sounds into his mind forever. Finally he arrived at your inner thigh, its plushness making his dick twitch with excitement. If he wasn't so far gone he would've been a little embarrassed. But just a little.
He tried, he really did try, to control his impulses and not bite that delicious plush skin. But alas he was still a man, and you were so cute, so so cute. You jolted and gripped his hair when you felt his blunt teeth push down on your thigh, it hurt, but it felt so right. This continued on for a while before you started to lose your patience. You needed to be touched and he was taking too long, ignoring the most sensitive part of you. Bucking your hips you anchored his face to your core and held him there with your grip on his hair, not missing the moan he let out at your sudden dominance. “Then stop teasing and show me just how much you love me.”
His hands gripped your hips and he pressed his nose in between your folds, fuck you smelled so good. He was inexperienced with pussy but he was a professional eater, so he let his instincts take over. Pushing your underwear down he wasted no time connecting his tongue to your sensitive folds. He began by lapping up your delicious juices, immediately trying to guess what the flavor resembled. It was a bit tangy but somehow had a little bit of sweetness to it. He wondered if the food you had eaten today affected its taste, specifically the candy they had made with the dungeon spirits. This only made his cock impossibly more hard, already planning on tasting your delicious pussy every night after a good meal just to see how much it affected the way you tasted. Fuck was he in deep.
Wanting to get a better taste he searched for your hole and once he located it he wasted no time pushing his tongue inside, fucking you with it. You began to roll your hips on his face, trying to meet the pace of his tongue. Your freed one of your hands from its deathly grip on his hair and moved it towards your clit. As good as Laios was making you feel, you needed a little more stimulation. This of course was not missed by him.
Separating from your core with an obscene pop, he looked up at you, his mouth, chin, and even his nose glistening with your juices. “Please (y/n), teach me where to touch you.”
Oh you were much deeper than him. But how could you not be?
Pushing yourself off the wall you were previously leaning on for stability you decided to lay down. Spreading your legs you used your hands to spread your pussy for Laios to observe. “This right here is called the clit, this is the most sensitive area.” He nodded along with extreme enthusiasm. Typical Laios you thought.
“You can rub it, lick, or suck on it.” You then inserted two fingers into your wet hole. “You already know what this is, but if you finger me here while licking my pussy-” a small whine managed to escape your lips, “You'll make me cum in no time baby.”
This brings us to where this originally started. With you writhing and moaning against the harsh dungeon floor as Laios abused your swollen pussy in every which way. So lost into your pleasure you couldn't even tell what was his tongue and what was his fingers anymore. Meanwhile Laios was having the time of his life in between your legs. While he was pleasuring your cunt, savoring, sucking, lapping, and overall devouring you, his hips bucked into the floor, chasing his own release. He could cum just by eating you out.
You felt your legs begin to shake involuntarily, and you knew what this meant. “Laois! Im- Im-!”
He knew exactly what you were trying to say by the way your legs began to grip his head “Mmph, cum for me baby.”
He flattened his tongue on your clit and began bobbing his head side to side as fast as he could, occasionally stopping to suck on it with fervor. Meanwhile his fingers were pistoning your hole, curling inside to find your sweet spot. A sudden hot flash of pleasure completely took over your body and you couldn't contain yourself from gushing your orgasm all over his face. You swore you saw white as you let out your release.
Laios felt so good he could cry. Your taste, your moans, your pussy, your everything was too overwhelming. He wanted more and at the same time couldn't handle it. With one last buck to the floor he felt his own searing release take over his body. Cumming in his underwear the vibrations of his own moan electrifying your cunt.
After a few moments of you both catching your breaths and riding out your orgasms in bliss the reality of where you were hit you both like a ton of bricks.
Oops.
You prayed the rest of your party members were too distracted with their own chores to have heard the sinful indulgences you and Laios participated in. In the middle of the dungeon no less. Oh well, you were too content with the man who was currently laying on top of you to really care. Unfortunately you knew that they would eventually come looking for the two of you if you took too long to return. Patting his back you pushed your body off the ground with your forearm and placed a gentle kiss on his head.
Moving his head to look into your eyes he let out a gentle sigh. Clearly not ready to let go and head back just yet. He pressed a few kisses into your neck and hugged you tightly. He finally had you. Giggling you proceeded to sit up all the way and grabbed his face to attack him with kisses. Once you landed on his lips you noticed how you could taste yourself against him.
“GUYS! WHERE ARE YOU?!” That was definitely Marcille.
FUCK!
You both quickly scrambled to your feet and frantically searched for your discarded clothing, almost painfully pulling it on your bodies. Neither one of you had time to wipe down which caused you both to cringe a little. But that was better than being caught in such an intimate position by someone you both respected and cared about. Plus the embarrassment you would feel later would surely keep you up for nights on end.
You quickly turned to Laios and without thinking ran your hands through his hair in an attempt to make it look presentable. If you weren't so focused you wouldn't have missed the pure look of awe and admiration he held for you at that moment.
“There you are! We were beginning to get worried.” turning the corner, Marcille stood with a hand against her chest, letting out a deep sigh.
“Huh what happened to you guys! You look like you just ran a marathon or something! Did you encounter any monsters?!”
At the mention of monsters Laios quickly spoke up and formulated a very abstract lie about you and him getting chased by some creature. You honestly couldn't focus much on what he was saying, just being grateful that your man had all the knowledge in the world about monsters to create a believable story. Grabbing his hand you squeezed it. A wordless gesture that meant the world to the both of you.
Now you wondered, when you were going to be able to return the favor to him.

“Your voice will bring a smile today.”
That’s what greets you, printed in those horrible skinny red letters, paper curled in your fingers. The styrofoam boxes are dotted with grains of undercooked rice and steamed vegetables, a treat you knew you deserved after such a long day.
And this is what fate tells you. Good thing you’ve never believed in superstition. You crumple the paper and toss it onto the tray and scoff.
Like you’ll take advice from a cookie.
But as the number of people in the store starts to dwindle, and the night shift employees trudge in through the back door, you wind up with your eyes glued to the message, wondering what kind of voice it referred to.
It’s been a long time since your voice has brought anyone joy, hasn’t it? Your job mostly consists of reminding multiple colleagues of their deadlines, only to be promptly ignored. Your existence only comes back to their minds two minutes before their reports are due, when they forward a hastily written piece that you don’t bother to read.
“Ma’am, are you alright?” A hand waves dangerously close to your face, brushing your nose, and the contact is enough to startle you back, glaring up at the offender. Even with the harsh swinging lights stinging your eyes, you can see warm blue eyes and sunny hair.
It feels as if the sky has descended to meet you.
Your breath catches in your throat.
“Yeah, I’m fine,” you mutter back in response, clearing your throat, waving your tied words away. “All good here.”
He shifts away from you, maybe mistaking your inward gesture as shooing him away. You think of saying something about him, about assuring him, but you wonder why you feel that way. "Oh. I, uh, saw you seemed distracted. Just wanted to make sure you're okay."
You wince, acutely aware of your frazzled appearance after the long shift. "Thank you, but I'm fine. Just tired is all."
“That’s not good,” he notes with a small frown, leaning back to press his heels to the ground. “Did you eat well?”
“Do you fuss over all strangers?” you muse.
“Oh, well, uhm, I see you a lot here, not that I’m watching you, just that I noticed that you’re here, a lot, so I thought you must like food-”
“You talk a lot.” You raise an eyebrow, trying to cut off his flustered stammering with your motion.
“That came out a lot worse than I’d imagined in my head,” he admits with a slight dip of his shoulders. “Sorry about that, I got nervous. I don't talk to many people… or, uh, women... so I tend to be a bit of a dumbass.”
Surprisingly, as shitty as you feel, a small smile graces the corner of your mouth.
“You’re honest, aren’t you?”
“According to a lot of people… yeah.”
“I don’t think I caught your name earlier,” you say, eyes scanning his vivid outfit for a nametag. There, pinned to his apron like a defining feature of his. “Leon?”
“That’s me,” he replies proudly. “And I already know yours!”
“Sorry?”
“Your… name?” Leon puckers his bottom lip, as if scarring it with his teeth will take back the words hanging between you. “Sorry… like I said, I’ve seen you here a lot.”
And he smiles shyly.
You’re flushed the whole way home, thinking of that sweet little smile, the way his eyes crinkled, his fresh linen scent, how you forgot how to breathe.
And your carefully built world topples over.
<><><><>
You never expected to look forward to the little messages in your fortune cookies, but you blame it on the fact you know Leon’s handing them to you, standing behind the counter in that cute little outfit. Even if he has no idea what’s in them, you can gaslight yourself into thinking he deliberately picks the ones complimenting your smile, or telling you how pretty your eyes look.
Of course, he can tell you that all himself. You sit shoulder to shoulder with him on the stools that you think are meant to be mocking bar stools, but they have barely any space between them, so you’re crammed together.
You wait for him to move away, to tell you to put some distance between you two, but nothing comes. You watch his profile, that handsome face eat cheap noodles when he really deserves so much better.
The lights dim as the last employee clocks out. It’s gotten so late that the crickets demand entrance, chirping their redundant sound, silencing as you walk past the slouching grass like plant that tickles your bare ankles as you walk back to your respective cars.
“Well,” he says, twisting the fabric of his shirt between his fingers, like he hasn’t been talking to you for the last two weeks. “I’ll see you tomorrow?”
“Yeah,” you affirm, nodding. The grin that eats up his face is so infectious you can’t help but smile back.
The same smile drops from your face when you check your Uber texts, a system you’ve repeated so much over the last few months that it feels like second nature, but not very natural when you see that your driver had to back out of the deal at the last minute, suspiciously also taking your money with them, leaving you broke and without a ride.
You stare at the small blue rectangle gripped in your fingers, heat rising to your face, realizing how stupid you must seem to the guy who must be pulling away right at this moment, and will he ever want to hang out with you again-
“Something wrong?” You hear his voice before you hear the knocks on his car roof, and he’s so tall that even at this distance you have to crane your neck to glower at him, and a lopsided smile overtakes his face.
“This isn’t fair,” you insist after explaining your situation, and the only response he gives is a slight shake of his head, as if exasperated. “I already paid all the money!”
“Crap, then something’s wrong,” he mumbles. “Do you usually always use all your money on the trip here?”
You falter. “Not usually.”
He arches a golden brow, a gate to your forthcoming confession. “Then…?”
“Well, I come out here to see you,” you admit quietly. “And then I go home.”
“Exactly how far away do you live?” His voice is smooth, but his expression reminds you of those times when your mother caught you doing something you shouldn’t be, doing something that shows how much you need that validation to survive.
“Not that far,” you assure, nodding your head, but you fail to convince the both of you.
“Do you want a ride home?” he asks quietly, softly, as if the night might intrude on your conversation.
“That would be nice,” you reply in a hushed whisper, as if further backing up the idea that the moon is listening, lighting up your words, shining on his hair as you both clamber into his car.
He apologizes for the mess in his spotless car, and you assume it’s just a courtesy, but he goes on and on about how he needs to get his life together. You don’t pay attention to the words that come out of his mouth, just his mouth in general. The amount of times you’ve done this slips from your mind, just another irrelevant number in your life.
If his life is a mess, your life must be a heap of shit.
Your address tumbles past strangely parched lips, well, at least it did, a while ago. But the ride was far too short, and he pulls up in your driveway, a bewildered expression on his face, as if he can’t believe this is where you live; a humble, simple abode, just like all your neighbors.
“So, this is goodbye, then?”
“Not forever, I hope,” he whispers, voice breathy.
“Uh, okay then? But let’s meet somewhere that isn’t your place of work?”
You were joking when you said it, but it seems he doesn’t pick up on it. His eyes are dreamy and thoughtful on his drive back, and by the time he gets home, he has a plan.
He’s going to stun you.
<><><><>
“Well?”
Leon’s gone out of his way to please you. Everything you’ve said during your time together, those vague comments about your favorite type of cheese, your opinions on the amazingly random topics you’re always switching between, it’s all right there.
You hope it's a physical display of his love.
His heart is spread bare, on the checkered, classic pattern of red and white, starkly contrasting with the blades of grass that bear your combined weight, not one, but two, so closely conjoined that you feel more at ease than you have in years.
You share a smile as you indulge in the simple yet delightful cucumber sandwiches, savoring each bite as you bask in each other's company. In the far distance, birds chirp, serenading you both, as if a soundtrack to these moments that seem to tick by faster than they should.
Leon's eyes meet yours, a softness in his gaze that speaks volumes. Time slows, encapsulating you both, a delicious freedom licking up your spine.
“Didn’t know you could cook,” you remark, wiping your face with a napkin, feeling content as you lean back, lying your head on your palms.
He mirrors your action, although his head twists to meet you, eyes sparkling. “I wouldn’t be working at a restaurant if I didn’t know a few things, right?”
“Guess so.” You shrug and the afternoon wears on, the park imaginative and alive with the children that race around the playground, darting like minnows through the swings and slides.
If you had met Leon in your childhood, would things have been different? Would you still be where you are today, arms brushing, only held apart by the barrier of remains scattered between you both, a battlefield of scarred napkins and damaged plastic utensils, a war fought to keep you separate.
He is caring and decisive and rational, the most reliable person you know, and you faintly register it’s been half a year, and you haven’t progressed any further with each other. The battle has come to a standstill, and neither side dares to make a move.
You think that half the problem lies not with you, but with Leon, and what he does with all his free time. He’s not the type to laze around; you think you know him well enough to make that assumption, but you aren’t sure anymore.
Cue example one: the mysterious phone calls that have begun to grow in frequency, the ones that always sour Leon’s mood, leave him sullen and unfriendly to talk to. Eventually, you grow tired of his monosyllabic answers, and make your absence known, still wondering what goes on in his life.
With a furrowed brow, he glances at the caller ID, his expression tightening with concern. You watch as his once-relaxed posture stiffens with some unseen burden. With a sigh, he excuses himself to take the call, leaving you momentarily alone with your thoughts.
You can sense the tension tinging the area, Leon’s clenched jaw betraying the stress he tries to conceal as he stalks back to you, shoving his phone into his pocket, evidently agitated.
“You don’t need a ride home, do you?” His voice contrasts his request; he obviously isn’t in the mood to drive you home.
“I’ll get a cab.” You shake your head, not wanting to be the instrument he releases all that pent up anger on.
He casts a shadow over you, standing tall and easy, in the dying sun he looks like a dying angel, his eyes soft and sad, skin begging to be touched. And while you want nothing more than to reach out and caress his cheek, tell him it’ll be okay, kiss his troubles away, you don’t know what you are right now.
Friends? Would a friend do that? So you offer him a supportive smile, trying not to seem deliberate, and amidst the fading light of the park and the cooling breeze that accompanies you back to your divided lives, you already regret it, watching Leon speed off, just a distant thought in your memory.
You should trust your gut more often.
<><><><>
As the car glides through the shadowy city streets, you catch sight of the new monument in the distance, the one Leon must’ve told you about. Surprising yourself, you decide to take a spontaneous detour. You tap your driver on the shoulder, and she smiles encouragingly. For the most part, the drive was silent, but you don’t mind her soft voice explaining the history behind why they decided to construct it in the first place.
She pulls around the corner, approaching the area near the monument, but the statue quickly is pushed to the back of your mind. It’s the flashing police lights and a sense of urgency in the air that catches your attention. A crime scene tape cordons off the area, and officers are stopping all vehicles passing through.
A stern-faced cop approaches your cab and instructs you both to step out. The driver uneasily abandons her car where it’s parked, then weaves through the forming crowd effortlessly, as if she’s gotten used to the downtown mobs of people.
You, however, barely come to this side of the town, where the city lights are always attacking your eyes that are comfortable with the soft sunset across the farm, where the people are always knocking against each other like clumsy goats, everyone bustling with a purpose.
As you also try your best to push your way through the throng, a knot forms in your stomach at the sight that greets you in the center of the commotion. The blood reaches up to where your footsteps falter, where everyone steps back to avoid staining their footwear.
Splatters of crimson paint a macabre picture that sends a shiver down your spine. The wail of sirens pierces the night, flaring lights casting an eerie glow that dances like amethyst flames, illuminating the limp body that uniformed figures crouch near.
And one of those figures, someone you’d never expect at the grim scene of a murder, is Leon, his unfamiliar stony expression cast in a stark light against the backdrop of chaos.
You draw closer, questions threatening to unravel the fabric of your reality, steeling yourself for the confrontation, because you thought you were close to him, a person he could trust. Was that such a silly thought? To think that you might have had something?
Apparently it was.
“Leon?” you demand, pressing yourself into the caution tape, warning bells ringing in your mind at the neon yellow bending to your will against your stomach.
“What?” He glances up and around, scanning the entire world until his eyes land on yours, going wide slightly, and his position stumbles, as if his legs give way.
“Get up, rookie,” another cop barks. “Focus! And you, stop distracting him!” Someone bats at your face, but you just sidestep the blow and storm closer, in the tension of the moment.
If you had just a speck of your sense at the time, you might’ve forced yourself to step away, to take a few calming deep breaths, but seeing his face dappled in such an unnatural light, to see his warmth be taken away to something that’s real, something like a life gone.
You always saw him as your solace, away from your life, something that was unreal, just for you. You forget to see him as a being of his own, with feelings of his own. And sadly, you don’t know the difference between impulsive and intrusive.
You’re surprised when Leon rises to meet your eyes, albeit it only lasts for a moment until he’s towering over you again, and there’s a sense of authority there that wasn’t there before, eyes strict and narrowed.
“I’ll talk to you later,” he says, in such a final tone it doesn’t occur to you that you could argue back. But his voice, a splinter of your Leon, the one you know, slips through. “I promise.”
So you stand back, near the patrol cars, their wails ratting your skull, but you grit your teeth and force yourself through it, eyes directed on Leon. It’s a while before the crowd clears, presumably because the idea of a murder is enticing until they see how long it truly takes, as compared to television.
But you stand there, leaning against the side of the car that you know is Leon’s, recognizing it as the one that you’ve rode in so many times, and you wonder why he’s taken a fragment of your time here, to this place outside of your relationship.
Eventually, Leon makes frantic motions to the top of the monument, stretching to the sky before gesturing back to the body, and everyone around him offers a pensive expression and solemn nods before someone calls out something you can’t hear.
The sirens die down immediately, and everyone claps Leon on the back. He flushes and stumbles with them to the cars, and you promptly ignore everyone’s gaze on you as he approaches. But there’s someone with him.
Feline eyes meet yours, an arm draped over his shoulder, competitive expression and this mysterious woman and Leon saunter over to you. She’s dressed in a long, beige trench coat, and her black sunglasses rest low on her nose, perched just right so that she can lift her face to offer you the most cursory of glances before turning away.
And she has the audacity to peck Leon on the cheek before she gives you a smug smile with the side of her face that only you can see before waving goodbye, somehow gracefully, and stalking away to what you assume is a fancy sports car.
“Look, I know you have a lot of questions.” Leon holds up his hands in defense, before grinning, and involuntarily, you feel the corner of your mouth quirk upwards.
“Lot of is an understatement,” you grumble.
“Talk over dinner?” he offers.
“Is this you trying to impress me?”
“I mean, I don’t know,” he says with a soft chuckle. “Is it working?”
<><><><>
“Right, and you didn’t think telling me you were a fucking cop was important?” Your spring roll is devastated, its insides spilling everywhere on your plate, bits of cabbage and carrot dotting the cardboard.
“I didn’t think it would change anything between us,” he mumbles. “So what difference would it make?”
“What the hell is that supposed to mean?” You push away from the table, and his eyes follow you when you stand up, and his actions seem to come naturally, as an instinct, when he trails you across the empty store.
“You know what it means!” he protests.
“Maybe I don’t, Leon, so maybe you should explain,” you retort. “Explain why you thought it was okay to lead me on like that, all this time, when you have a girlfriend! Which one of us are you really cheating on?”
“What?” Now he looks genuinely confused, and his confusion seems to spark some doubt in your own defense, breaking down your sure walls. “Girlfriend? Cheating?”
His eyes are glazed over with tears, and if he starts crying, you’re not sure what you’ll do. You take a step closer, but now he’s the one to recoil away, shaking his head, wiping his eyes.
Leon inhales sharply. “How could you say something like that? I told you when we met, I’m not… not very good with these kinds of things.”
“But she-”
“Kissed me?” He scoffs. “Yeah, right. Like your mother’s never kissed you goodnight.”
You misread everything. That smug smile was her approval, on those curved lips, those narrowed eyes that were… well, just always narrowed. How could you get something so wrong?
"I... I'm sorry," you whisper, your voice barely above a breath. "I didn't know... I thought..." Your words falter as you struggle to find the right ones to express the whirlwind of relief, a gust of skittish butterflies pattering against the walls of your stomach, trying to find release.
"I should have been honest from the start," he murmurs, his gaze never leaving yours. "My job… it can hurt people. You saw. I want to keep you safe."
“You’re not mad?” you ask quietly.
Leon's eyes twinkle with a hint of mischief as he responds, "How could I ever be mad at this cute little face?" He playfully puffs your cheeks together, a gesture meant to be endearing.
Before you can fully process his teasing remark, Leon's demeanor shifts once again, his voice lower and more intimate as he adds, "Or... these lips." And with a sudden, decisive move, he leans in and presses a tender kiss against your lips.
And your fragile world topples over.
Again.
<><><><>
Leon never ceases to surprise you, that much you can definitely expect. You shut your computer, ready for your lunch break, when someone calls your name from the lower floor. That much you’ve come to expect, but while you’re gathering your belongings, someone else calls out something else.
“Hey, hurry up! Don’t keep your boyfriend waiting!”
To say you stumbled would be nice. You somehow manage to trip over the arm of the chair, end up with all your papers fluttering to the ground, but you ignore the mess and file it away for later, trying to tame your hair (an impossible feat in three seconds) as you storm down the stairs.
Your heels click on the tiles as you make your descent as graceful as can be, minus that one part where you trip and lurch forward before gripping the hand railing for safety. You see him standing at the entrance, talking to the receptionist guy, a box nestled between his arms.
“Doughnuts?” you ask, staring at the box enticingly, recognizing the bright pink and rainbow sprinkles from your childhood.
“Got some free time,” he says, pressing a quick kiss to your nose before opening the box. It seems that you really have everyone’s attention now. “And coupons!”
You toss him a shit eating grin to show your returned affection before immediately curling your fingers around a glazed doughnut. And eventually, once the first person timidly approaches, quietly asking if they could maybe have one, Leon beams.
“I brought enough for everyone!” he proclaims, and he steps to the side to reveal three similar boxes, all presumably stocked with the same doughnuts.
“Looks like you’re an office favorite now, huh?” you tease, nudging him with your elbow. He shifts from your impact and returns the gesture, in the process of doing so smears chocolate frosting on the underside of his nose.
“I’ll always be your favorite officer though, right?” he jokes in response.
You don’t respond, you’re too busy staring at that one smear of cocoa against his skin, and suddenly you’re itching for a napkin, so you twist over your shoulder to grab one.
“Righ-” His echo is muffled by the napkin stuffed into his mouth as you gently dab at the area, squinting your eyes.
“Yeah, of course, totally,” you mumble absentmindedly, satisfied with your efforts. You take the excuse a little further just to stare at his amused expression, the quirk of his brow, the tilt of his eyes softening.
Your colleagues will never let you hear the end of this.
Either way, since he’s on break and he’s on the manager’s good side, bribing her with a few Boston Cream doughnuts, she allows him to hop upstairs with you.
“So, if you’re a cop,” you ask while rubbing hand sanitizer into your palms. “Why’re you working at Panda Express?”
“They lowered the income rate for the citizens of Raccoon City, including the police force,” he grumbles, swinging his legs from where he’s perched on the side of your desk. “Which I think is totally stupid!”
“So you think you shouldn’t have applied at all?” you query further.
“Well, honestly? I’m glad I applied,” he admits, and at your questioning expression, continues, “I wouldn’t have met you.”
“Hooray, taxes,” you say numbly, flipping through the giant stack of papers left on your desk, all jumbled up from your earlier mishap.
“Hooray, taxes, indeed,” he agrees.
“I was being sarcastic.” Leon scoffs, twisting over his shoulder to lean down and meet your lips. When he pulls away, there’s an endearing yet mocking look in his eyes.
“I’m not that stupid.”
<><><><>
Nothing happens that day, you don’t see a black cat anywhere, you don’t walk under any ladders, and if you do walk on cracks, well, you do that every day, so your luck must always be this horrible, right?
You’ve somehow scored this moonlit masterpiece strolling beside you, a being born from the clouds, so maybe you’re not all that unlucky.
Usually, you get a warning when bad things happen. But all you can feel is the jittery, warm feeling that you get when you’re brushing hands with Leon, trying to bring him closer to you. You think he notices, and doesn’t say anything.
You invite yourself into his car, but the first of many problems to come arrives in the form of water that splashes on Leon’s face, just above his eyebrow, and he quickly slides into his seat.
You absently brush the area, admiring his hair, his boyish qualities, and suddenly wonder if he’s always looked this young. Far too innocent for the world.
“It’s nice in here,” you offer.
He sinks back into the seat with a gentle, relaxed smile. "Well, either way, get comfortable. Looks like we’re expecting rain.”
You nod, legs unsteady, and find yourself nestled in leather beside his cologne-scented form. The engine hums to life, and he shifts gears, pulling onto the road as traffic flees.
He glances over, moonlight caressing sculpted cheeks. "What’s wrong?"
“Do you have any water?” He gestures to the water bottle in the cupholder on his left side, on the driver’s door. Your knees knock against each other as you reach over to grasp it, ducking under his outstretched arms, averting your eyes to your right rather than the other direction.
“Can I…?” You gesture to the bottle. “Or should I just like, you know, waterfall, or whatever-”
“We’ve literally exchanged saliva,” he states bluntly. “I don’t think I have a problem with you drinking from my water bottle.”
“Ugh, you weirdo.” But you’re the one drinking like a starved woman, which you suppose that you are, but that of which you’re really dragging your gaze over isn’t the water.
And you suppose, logically, Leon’s 70% water.
Water that evaporates under the heat of your eyes, drifting up to the previously cloudless sky, forming puffs of sorrow that cry back down to you, tears slamming against the windshield. You ponder how he can even see the road through the downpour.
Eventually, after grumbling under his breath, Leon pulls over, gazing into your upturned face with a question in his eyes, older than his years.
“Would you, uhm, mind if we just went to my place? It’s closer anyways, and I don’t want to risk driving any further than I have to in these conditions…”
You smile, and he can see your answer woven in your eyes.
<><><><>
Leon forgot to mention his (adoptive) parents live right next door. So of course, when they’re just out and about casually watching him through the door camera, they might just happen to say a dashing young lady walk out of his car.
And said young lady is unfamiliar to these judging, supreme figures that must decide Leon’s fate for him, because he’s just a boy. Their precious little baby.
So that’s what you assumed happened when Leon’s parents clambered out of their door, calling for you to wait, his mother pulling her cardigan around herself tighter against the chill.
And now here you are, facing two people that, no offense, look nothing like the man seated next to you, fingers entwined, foot tapping out a nervous beat on the wooden floor.
“So, darling, how’s work going?” Another placeholder question for what she really wants to know: how much do you make in a year? Do you have a degree? Did you even finish high school?
You respond with everything they must want to hear, like those questions on the backs of those 2000’s magazines with the answer that’s always right, the one that has the perfect amount of sense in it, the Goldilocks rule.
Goldilocks must have been gobbled up by the bears this night, because every answer seems to deepen the furrow forming between their brows, as if they’re in sync, and you wonder how you can manage to screw up something that should be simple.
Meeting the parents, check. What’s next, falling into the cake at the wedding? You must be planning too far ahead judging by their unimpressed looks.
“Mom,” Leon groans. “Cut it out!”
“I’m just getting to know her, sweetie,” she replies sweetly, voice dripping like molasses, and you can tell there’s a lot more she’s keeping behind her tongue. "Well, dear, do you have any hobbies or interests you're passionate about?"
"Oh, I just love cooking!" you exclaim, a spark of enthusiasm lighting up your face. Maybe you’ve finally found something to impress them with.
Leon's father leans in, his interest piqued. "What kind of dishes do you enjoy cooking?" he asks, a hint of genuine curiosity in his voice.
"I love trying out new recipes from different cuisines," you reply, your excitement palpable. "Right now I’m learning how to cook Thai cuisine!"
Leon's mother nods, a smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "Cooking is such a beautiful art form," she muses, her face softening. "It's wonderful to see someone so passionate about creating delicious meals. Someone who can share that love with our son."
You wonder if any other girl had waltzed along, marveled at cooking with them, would they have dropped their judging character immediately, just as they had with you?
You suppose it’s a mystery you don’t need to solve.
Besides, you don’t have to worry about facades with Leon.
Of course not.
But you do wonder why he hasn’t touched any of the food.
<><><><>
You sit back, sly fingers curved around the tender flesh of his waist, pressing your head further into the crook of his arm. You watch his chest rise and fall like the arrival and departure of the sun, bringing you warmth under the blanket that restricts your movements, tucked in around you like a burrito.
He must be hot, you realize, he’s sweltering under the blanket, but when you offer to turn on the overhead fan, he shivers like he’s cold at the same time and shakes his head.
In moments of silence, you catch glimpses of a far off-look in his eyes, a horror movie long forgotten, as if his thoughts have wandered to a place you can’t reach. There’s shadows of things he doesn’t say, things you know he wants to say.
“Hey, are you good?” You shift your weight to look up at him, where you might’ve found yourself admiring the curve of his chin, or his dappled skin, but now you only feel concern.
“Yeah,” he mumbles, mouth stretching in a yawn. “My new case is taking a bit longer than I’d hoped.”
“Mhm?” you press gently, wanting to get more clarity on the situation without seeming nosy. His response is delayed, a different, pitiful expression grappling to take hold.
“Oh… the, uhm, pharmaceutical company? Something that has to do with… was it rain?” Leon shakes his head, clicking his tongue in the back of his throat. “You know what? Forget it. Tonight’s our night.”
He says ‘our’, but he pays you little to no attention for the next three hours.
Your first thought is that you're boring him. Have you already become so insufferable that he doesn’t want to hang out with you anymore? You had expected it, of course, you’re not a very animated person, but he loved you, didn't he?
Leon’s gone quiet, silent, like he’s back in that box in his mind you can never seem to pierce. The light that used to dance in his eyes now flickers dimly, like a fading ember struggling to hold onto its warmth.
He carries himself with the same grace and poise, like a practiced act to a play you weren’t a part of, and you can’t push it away anymore. But of course, as all things in your life seem to follow, when you finally find yourself gaining the courage to confront him, he's gone.
<><><><>
Missing. And no one knows where he is. And some part of you blames yourself, you obviously must've scared him away.
“You know what’s wrong!” You bite your tongue to keep you from raising your volume, not so much fearing the fish beneath you but the woman leaning against the shipping containers, scrutinizing slender nails with feigned boredom.
If Leon trusts her, she should hear your first plea. She knows him better than you do, much to your dismay, but it could work out in your favor currently.
Her expression remains stony.
"Please," you beg, and a sliver of emotion slips through that mask- confusion? "Help me save Leon. I know you care for him, even if you can't show it."
Her crimson lips quirk. "I have… undisclosed reasons for ensuring his well-being. But my work takes precedence, and I can’t disclose anything to you."
You glare through lingering tears. "No deals, no games. You tell me where he's investigating right now."
A long pause, then she sighs. "Very well. It seems you really won't leave me alone, hm?" She grins coldly. "Shall we play the heroes, just this once?"
Playing the heroes is harder than it turns out to be, it seems.
"Evening, boys. My associate and I have a… delivery." The guards blink, stupefied, then waves you through with dopey grins, mostly directed at her. Ada smirks. "Pathetic."
A floorplan materializes in her hand, every room and hallway illuminated with ghastly blue precision. "Samples are held in labs B5 through 7. Avoid guards, cameras. And try not to set anything off - we're on a tight schedule."
You dart through shadows, cautiously approaching the correct hall. Surprisingly, nothing contradicts your journey, as if the whole building’s been abandoned. Guess it’s your lucky day.
You're wondering just how lucky you really are when you turn to usher Ada ahead, only to freeze as you turn the corner, and there, just a few feet away, he sits.
So calmly, so pristine, as if life was just as simple as sitting on the floor, in the middle of a hallway, in a building where you don't belong, after ghosting everyone who knows you for two days.
And yet there's something different. Haggard eyes stare from a chalk-white face, lips twisted in a feral snarl. That face, once so stunning you had to think about his existence, now only conveys hatred.
"L-Leon?" you breathe. But those eyes betray no recognition, only hunger. As your stare, transfixed by fright and grief, a click sounds behind you.
"Well, well. Fancy meeting you here." Ada glares down the barrel she points to Leon's head, somehow still perfectly composed. You want to rip off her head. "Now, are we all going to play nice?"
For a heartbeat, no one moves. Then Leon's eyes flicker, awareness filtering into his eyes by slow degrees, and he stands up at half that speed, as if time is against him.
But then he jolts back, as if something's clicked, and suddenly he's back with you, standing in front of you, gasping for breath and clutching you tightly.
You wait for a moment, not quite sure if you're imagining things or not, before a dry, unamused chuckle rips from your throat and slowly morphs into the laugh you're used to sharing with him.
Leon leans closer to you, resting your forehead against his, cupping your face as he stares down at you, recognition so evident in those open eyes. “How'd you find me?”
“Well, it's not like the department was going to notice,” you mumble, rolling your eyes. Ada scoffs in reply, but her head tilts to the side.
“And your endearing girlfriend here wouldn't let me get away that easily.”
You suppose her tone is light enough that you can let it pass as a joke, and at the moment you're so overwhelmed with relief that you aren't too worried about her idea of you either way.
“Seeing you… gosh,” he groans, pressing a palm to his temple, hissing. “I can barely think straight!”
“I know, baby, I know,” you coo comfortingly, keeping your voice soft so as to not alert any guards that might've pulled up around the area.
“No, I can't…” His eyes go fazed again, blank, emotionless, and once again he's slipped through your grasp like grains of sand on a beach, only there is nothing tranquil about this situation.
“Leon, listen to me. You’re going to be just fine,” you affirm, nodding your head, hoping he'll copy your motion.
He doesn't. "I...I can feel it," he gasps. Beads of sweat run tracks through the grim on his face. "It's… stronger than me..."
You grip his hand tight, ignoring the growing feverheat. "No, Leon, you can beat this. You always do." But even you can hear the desperation in your voice.
And you wait for Ada to chime in with some classic, yet somehow sassy third-wheel dialogue, but it never comes. In fact, she's vanished into the shadows, presumably already so far away you can't hear the click of her heels on the sterile floors.
Leon groans, and your attention snaps back to him, face contorting. "Go," he grits out. "Drive… and don't look back."
“I’m not leaving you here!” you proclaim, and his eyes soften in confusion as you sling his arms around your shoulder.
You're sure half the population must've heard your racket at this point, but it seems something else has gotten the security's attention.
As long as it's not you, you don't mind. Leon’s lower lip wavers, unshed tears sparkling in his eyes, and you want to peck everything that hurts until he's okay. But you can't be sure of anything until you're both safe.
The first responders always seem to pick up the prank calls from the teenagers that don't need their help, but it seems like hours go by the more Leon's blood coats your fingers, and inevitably, your phone screen.
He's stopped responding to your questions, and you fight to keep just a fragment of his conscience there with you, but his eyes, the vivid blue gone dull, meet yours and offer no further response.
When the ambulance finally arrives, they leave you outside the gates, denying you entry, with those ruby dusted hands and diamond streaked face.
You suppose you've always wanted to be the jewel in the night that races to the hospital to see their lover. And now that just seems silly.
<><><><>
Three weeks.
That's all the time he'll have with you. And even then, he's not truly there. He struggles to formulate his own thoughts, and now, whenever you see him, all you can think of is who he used to be.
As for Ada, you haven't seen her since. She hasn't snitched on you, so you suppose that it wouldn't hurt anyone to keep the events of that day between the three of you.
Two of you, now.
He isn't a person anymore. He isn't your Leon. But that's hard to remember when you've never been good at seeing what's beneath the surface, the dense, complex layers that create a person.
You see his soft, peaceful face that is like second nature to you, and you wonder if he'll respond to you today, even after hours of repeating the same truth that you know somewhere, deep down, you’ll never believe. The doctor's left the room already, decreeing two hours of treatment should do something for him, save him, much like removing a tumor.
“I went to our place, picked up some lunch for us,” you murmur, knowing he can't hear you. “You weren’t standing at the counter like always, and I almost lost it. Again.”
You can imagine him, if he was really here, chuckling, shaking his head at your questionable behavior. Not just a shell, a half of a person, but a whole that somehow also completed you.
See, this is why you failed math. Are you half a person without him, or whole?
“I got us a fortune cookie!” you say, trying to keep your voice upbeat, as if your positive energy could transfer to him, in a magical, mystical manner, and he'd come back to you.
“Let's read it, yeah?” No point in waiting for a response when you know it'll never come.
Thin, pale letters. How odd, they resemble Leon's strangely flushed face.
“Today, your voice will bring a smile.” You suppress one of those and instead roll your eyes. “Your friends can’t think of new content, can they?”
You stuff the paper into your handbag, slung over the plastic chair near his bed. You've blocked out the rest of the world, now is time for just you two, however far away he may seem. Which is why you scowl up at the doctor, slightly confused at her sympathetic look, and then your ears ring and you shift back to reality. The reality of the situation.
The reality of the flatline.
The reality that, no matter how much you thrash in the security guard's arms, Leon's not coming back. He’s gone.
In a way, he's been gone for longer than you've chosen to accept. Maybe it would've been easier to let him go sooner. You're marched straight out of the hospital, a beeline for the exit, and you have little time to shout your goodbyes.
But you've grown used to taking advice from cookies. After all, they've gotten you to this point. The sarcasm you had so long ago seems silly to you, now, the fact that a biscuit could decide your fate.
To Leon?
Your voice keeps him smiling all the way up to the clouds.

when mingyu takes jungkook's advice but forgets about one (1) thing
fluff // idol!au // mingyu is dumb in love // sex implied but this drabble is nothing but fluff!!!!!
It's three in the morning when Mingyu turns on the live.
He's still high on adrenaline for some reason; the whole day has been great and not one single thing went wrong even though some schedules got him worried at first. His meals were all exactly to his liking, his exercise went like a breeze, and he got to see you.
Perhaps the last one is what makes him so high. After all, it's been a little over a month since he saw you and finally being able to see you and feel you... gosh it was the closest feeling he would describe as euphoric.
You're currently sleeping in his room, blisfully unaware that your boyfriend has turned on his live just one room away.
"Hi." He grins and waves at the camera. "If you remember I told you some time ago that I'd start listening to a certain senior... here I am."
He fixes his hoodie over his head, happy that the fans seem happy with his wardrobe: a grey sleeveless hoodie with nothing underneath.
"I look like your boyfriend?" His grins widen, his mind flying to you. "Your boyfriend must be very handsome then."
"Hmmm, why do I look happy when it's 3 in the morning? Why? Am I not allowed to be happy at this hour?" He comes closer to his screen to look at the comments. "I'm not drunk! But I might’ve had a liiiiittle bit of alcohol earlier."
The live continues on like that, and between all the crazy things he's seen Jungkook did, he's starting to see why the guy is fond of doing lives at this hour. As an idol, he's usually wide awake at ungodly hours, and even though he knew the company and Seungcheol would have his head tomorrow, he can't be bothered to care at this moment.
He's blaming it on the alcohol too. But by the time he even remotely considers something might go very wrong, he's having too much fun with his fans and he's way too drunk on the happy feeling from everything that has happened during the past 24 hours.
"It's okay. If I get scolded then I get scolded." He addresses the fans' concerns. "They probably won't reupload this so consider this a present for all of you here, okay? Let's have fun while we're at it."
"Mmmmh. Is there nothing fun? Tell me something fun." He frowns as he squints at his screen, trying to read through the comments.
"What I'm wearing underneath this?" He grins teasingly and tugs the neck of his hoodie. "What do you think?"
It's seconds later that the comment section goes crazy, and he blinks in confusion, trying to see why people are screaming. It doesn't help that no one gives him any context until he finally catches one single comment that gets his heart beating so loud he can hear it on his ears.
Was that hickey on your collarbone???
He continues to play stupid, answers some questions that he made up in his mind while pretending to look for one in the comment sections, stays on live for another five minutes before he says he's starting to get sleepy so he needs to go.
He stares into space for a good ten minutes after he turns off the live.
He's fucked.
He's so fucked.
How the fuck is he going to explain this to the company and all of his members tomorrow? At least he's actually been considering going public with you for quite some time, have talked about it with his members and the company also, but this isn't how he imagined it would be.
Biting his lip, he's too lost in his thoughts to realize you've stepped out of your room, looking a little lost also, wondering why he's in the living room.
"Why are you not in bed?" You ask adorably, rubbing your eyes as you plop on the sofa besides him. "And why is your phone propped like that?"
His arm wraps around you and pulls you to his chest, already imagining not having to hide you away anymore after whatever hurricane that will pass tomorrow.
But.
First thing first.
"Babe." He squeezes your shoulder, already feeling sorry at your sleepy hum because he's sure you won't be sleepy after this. But whatever, imagining his future self showing you off to everyone is going to be worth it.
He grins when you look up in confusion, the dangerous grin that you know is up for trouble.
"We might have a problem. "

As much as I strongly dislike when a series kind of "cages" the self insert/OC potential of its audience, it's becoming pretty clear that there's a certain level of pre-determined-ness to Sinners and their appearances, almost to the point it's vaguely implied entire sections of Pentagram City are like, ethnically/visually distinct and that every character we see fits into some sort of category and resembles other people. There's an Overlord who's a giant raptor dinosaur and there are other dinosaur Sinners (and also she's like the club/rave based overlord and even has a business, Klub Kaiju, interesting). Valentino is a moth and there are other moths and different bugs like spiders. In the most recent episode showing flashbacks of Hell in Alastor's past, there was a past female Overlord who had the same multi-toned angular swirling hair as Velvette does. In Vox's studio in episode two, he has members of staff that are visually similar to his own aesthetic. Even up in Heaven, Angel's sister Molly still has her spider aesthetic with a halo and cherub wings
so, i guess, to go where I'm ACTUALLY going with this post.... Moth Reader who winds up catching Valentino's eyes because "oh wow we're both moths, isn't that cute" and it escalates into him seeing you as his property, ESPECIALLY if you also have weird drugging/pheromone powers like him
Like can you imagine it? You smack down into the city while he's like having lunch at a cafe or his limo is parked at a light and you're standing up all confused and helpless and cute, hugging yourself as you look around this loud violent scary new place, and you two wind up making exact eye contact and he can tell you're crying and scared, easy prey. Could you picture Reader's equivalent of his coat being that you're in a little hoodie or jacket or shawl and it just unwraps while you're sitting with him. Idk. You accidentally inhale some of his smoke and just give a cute little sneeze and your antenna and your wings are all just poofing out, you basically just equipped that shit from your inventory. On the fence if Reader would have chest fur but maybe your hair hair is really big and long and silky
Moth Reader having eye spots on their wings that can lull someone into hypnosis, or you have some sort of pheromone that makes people weak to your demands, maybe even horny for you, like some mind controlling queen bee ordering her drones. Val's in the bathroom and some creep grabs you and all of a sudden your antenna twitch and his face gets hit with a little puff of 'dust' and suddenly he's letting go of you, "oh my gosh sweetie I am so sorry, here, take all the money in my wallet, you deserve it, I'm so sorry queen, I'm gonna go jump into traffic, sorry queen, sorry, sorry, im a worm, sorry, sorry"
Valentino having unique reactions to your "pollen" as another moth or at least an addict with a tolerance. He buries his face in your neck so you "poof" him on purpose and he's just hotboxing your scent and getting high and horny while you're struggling and squealing. He forces you to use your powers on him and others so they can feel happy and high. At some point he may even force you to keep producing the powder so he can sell it as a drug or a product and at that point you're BIG INCOME for him, he might as well carry you around like his personal vape pen
Like. Can you even imagine "oh yeah Im super lucky enough that i have these powers to protect myself and potentially manipulate others" and you think you're safe and untouchable and this man is like using his fucking credit card to shift your powder into lines to snort it like a rail of cocaine. You can turn "normal" Sinners into your helpless pawns but it loses effectiveness the stronger the person is and this man is like HOTBOXING your shit, all but passing out on the couch with you in his arms in pure drug seeking unrestrained bliss. And then he fucks ya cause I mean, it's YOUR fault he's all hot and bothered now isn't it?
Just Reader not even knowing how much danger they're in because you just got here and have no idea who this guy is and you're just spinning around looking at your new appearance and flapping your little wings and maybe you can even float or fly a little bit, all happy, big big smiles, being all "oh my gosh this is so cool, I feel so cute ^^" and you don't even realize you're practically modeling yourself on a runway to one very, VERY interested customer...

Secret Garden In My Mind - N.R
Summary: Y/n's first day was a...roller coaster ride. But, it got more exciting with her first unexpected interaction with Natasha popping out of nowhere, with only the two of them being left alone in the house.
Author's Note: Hiii! Goshhh, I'm so sorry for making y'all waittt, so here's this! I hope it's enough to forgive me guys HAHA! hope you'll enjoyyyy, let's see where this will lead. 3k+ words.
Warnings: Blood, cursing, blood curdling domesticity (natasha being so soft and idiot), Y/n being a material wife (fuck her parents)
°^~°^~°^~°^~°^~°^~°^~°^~°^~°^~
Natasha's POV:
I saw how those familiar eyes widen, a spatula went in front of her, as if she was trying to hide from me by putting it on her chest. I swallowed a bump on my throat, mentally cursing myself for how I reacted. Of course, she'll be here. God, Natasha.
"I-... I was- I was just... Ms. Maria said I- I can cook the nuggets..." It came out almost as a question. I falter for a moment before regaining my composure back.
If money could make the ground to swallow me whole, that would where my billions will go. Gosh, am I drunk?
"Sorry... I'm sorry..." Those words left my mouth with no hesitation, making me falter once again. Why am I saying sorry? I don't apologize. Especially not under the roof I own and not to some... stranger. "I thought... I thought you were somebody, I'm really sorry..." I mentally face palm, biting my tongue as my inner turmoil just got louder. I mean, how can I stop apologizing when she look so... those eyes! I mean...Ugh, I'm going mad.
"Go on, you can... finish your—whatever you're cooking." I immediately turned to leave just in time when Maria step in the kitchen, a phone in hand and a frown on her face.
"Did you shout?" Fuck.
"Follow me." I commanded, walking past her without bothering to excuse myself.
I saw in my peripheral vision how the new presence that is with us put her head down, making the nagging feeling inside my chest flutter even more. As I walked away, my hearing caught the words that left Maria's mouth.
"Don't worry about her, you just eat whatever you want, okay? I'll be right outside in the balcony." I could imagine a small smile playing on her face, making me roll my eyes.
I marched towards the balcony, mixed feelings clouding my mind as a small headache started to hit me. Gosh, she's already here? Why wasn't I notified? Wait... Maybe, I was? But, if I am, I could've remembered it!
"Why the hell is she here?" I whispered in a shout as I face away from her, looking out in the view before us, both of my arms on the railings. I couldn't let her see my face, and notice that I'm in a turbulence inside my mind.
"What do you mean? I've already told you that last night before you went out with those two girls...." I winced as I remembered how I decided to pick two last night, wondering if it could help me out of the mess I'm in. Still, I kicked them out before I could even close the door of one of the rooms inside that bar I go to. "...You even told me you'll be picking her up, Nat. But, I've received your phone calls, I couldn't reach you so I decided to do it myself-" Feeling irritated, I faced her with so much confusion and annoyance visible in my face.
"Maria, you can't take initiatives on such things like this! She's mine to think about—she—she's my problem for god's sake!" Mentally, I was taken aback by the things I have said. I wondered if it's my first time telling her something like this, but I chose to not falter. I saw how her eyes widened a little, not ignoring the flash of hurt that ran around it.
"What the fuck, Nat? Since when did it become a problem with me cleaning your dirt? Doing your work? She's yours to think about, but did you see how you handled her earlier? No shit, Romanoff, you yelled at her! Did you even see how startled she was? She's here, somewhere foreign to her and with people she barely knew." I gulped down the saliva on my throat, suddenly finding it hard to talk about and find the right words to stand still and claim my dominant towards her.
"What's been happening to you, Natalia? You're not doing like yourself this past couple of days..." I heard her claimed a long breath before exhaling it out. "If it's about work, tell me and I'll handle it. About your family? Your dad? Tell me and I'll help you, we'll help you. We're not your enemies here, come on. We've come so far together already... I'm not a stranger." With that, a gust of wind passed by me as she walked out the huge sliding door. That was when I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding still.
Am I losing my mind? Maria was right, I am not myself. I just couldn't understand what is happening. Everything feels too much and it angers me how I can't even resolve my own problem.
I turned to catch a glimpse of what moved in my peripheral vision. I watched as the two woman inside the penthouse talk to each other, gazing down, there's was a small plate of chicken nuggets in Y/n's hand, offering it to Maria. A flutter crossed my chest, I couldn't help but to clear my throat as I looked away, trying to take my attention to other things outside. But, even the birds and the skies couldn't compel to the face of an angel right here before me.
Looking back, I saw Y/n looking down now, I frowned, thinking of what they might be talking about. Raising her hand, Maria pat her head, resulting to my frown deepening. After that, she said some words that made Y/n look up with those doe eyed gaze. I held a breathe when Y/n walked towards Maria, closing the distance between them and hugging her.
I started to walk inside, my hands itching to grab something...someone— oh stop it. My feet faltered when I saw Maria raised her arms and reciprocated the intimate gesture. Hell, I don't even remember when I last hugged that woman and she's letting some random girl hug her after meeting for a few hours?
Deciding to stop the bullshit, if you could call it that, I made my way inside the penthouse, I was at a distnce when just in time, they pulled away from each other. Clearing my throat, they both looked at me, Maria stepping back instantly, holding a bowl in her hand.
"Maria, go get Clint on the phone and tell here to deal with New York and let Bucky deal with Budapest. I'm not feeling very well, I'm taking the day off." After that, I turned my gaze towards Y/n who was looking down, picking at her hands. I rolled my eyes mentally, before walking past them— between them. One of my hand automatically took the bowl away from Maria's hold as I marched upstairs towards my room. I could feel her eyes burning holes in the back of my head, but I couldn't careless. It was my money that bought this, and there's so much food there, they could just cook again.
Maybe, a day off is all that I need.

Y/n's POV:
"Well, I'm gonna go for now. I'll come back later and I'll check on you—do you have a phone? Maybe, I can get your number so it'll be easier for you to ask me if you need something." I looked up at Maria as she started speaking, shaking my head after she finished asking.
"I- uh... I don't have one..." I gulped when she squinted her eyes at me in a way that I don't understand. "But- but, I do have a laptop... I just- I don't have any socials... can I text you through my laptop?" I asked, and it took a moment before she responded.
"No, I uh... Oh! we hand that landline here..." She pointed at the telephone by the kitchen counter that was sitting on the far corner, and smiled slightly, feeling better to see that there's a telephone. That, I could use. "And we also have that somewhere in the living room, don't worry, I'll request Natasha to put one up in your room while we wait to buy you a phone, okay?" I nodded, smiling up at her before I remembered something.
"Oh, do-do you want me to cook you nuggets? Or I-" I was cut of by her.
"Don't worry about it, I'm not that hungry. I should get going now, I'll write down my number for you first... wait." She walked away, and I was left in the kitchen. I let out a sigh I didn't know I was holding as I sit on one of the stools she have here. It was so big, everything and everywhere is so big.
The nuggets are great! Does every nuggets here on New York taste like this? Is this some kind of special nuggets? Speaking of nuggets, I look towards where Natasha had disappeared from the corner.
Maybe she's in her room, Maria pointed it out to me earlier, does she want more nuggets? She said she was not feeling very well, maybe I could cook her some more foods? Bring her meds?
"Here." Maria gave me a piece of 1 sheet paper, there were two numbers. "The first one is my number and the second one is Natasha's, just in case she's not here and you need something. And, by the way, if she bothered you don't mind too much about it, she's just- she's just like that." I just nodded along the words she let out, still sitting on the stool so I was looking up at her.
"Would you—should I... uhmmm... Can I bring Natalia more foods? Maybe she needs medicine, or... or anything? I can do it." I asked politely, my hands fumbling around the paper she gave me. I didn't said anything wrong, right? That's what Mama and Dada said, to take care of Natasha, to look after her, to give her anything she needs. Anything she wants.
"Oh, uhh, I don't know about that. She can handle herself. You just make yourself at home, alright? Rest if you need to, I'll be back before you know it." I nodded once again, standing up as I went in for a hug.
She's very welcoming, very kind towards me. I've never met a stranger be this kind to me, it makes me miss home, miss Lucy. I just really need a hug right now and hugging Maria felt right.
Only one of her arms wrapped around me, and I pulled away. "I'm sorry if I kept hugging you—I hope I'm not making you feel uncomfortable... I just... I really need it." I explained, looking anywhere but her eyes.
"It's fine, don't worry." She pat my head before straightening out her shirt. "I should go now, we wouldn't want a dragon showering me with fire." I giggled at what she said and nodded as she started walking away.
"Take care, Ms. Maria. Thank you so much." I said gratefully, waving my hand at her.
She shook her head and waved back before disappearing into a corner. I sighed as I was left on my own thoughts, what can I do for the rest of the day? Can I watch TV? Natalia is here with me, maybe I could get to know her more? Looking around, I glanced at the clock and saw that it's almost past lunch time. Has she eaten already? Maybe she was hungry that's why she took the nuggets.
Standing up, I walked to the fridge, deciding to see what I could cook for her, or maybe for Maria also for when she get home later. There's so many foods here, all of them are fresh and well restocked, I wonder if it's all new.
Sighing, I stood up and look into nothingness, facing where Natasha had left earlier. Should I go check on her? Will it be okay? I'm just gonna check on her only. Golly, maybe she's sleeping? I suddenly jumped at the sound of thump and a sprained curse coming through the hallway.
Worry filled my head so I quickly closed the fridge and ran to where it was coming from. Turning on the corner, I saw Natasha with a vase broken into pieces around her feet. My eyes widened as I yelp her name.
"Natalia! Are you okay?" I asked as I watched her clutching her feet. She's in the exact corner, was she coming to the kitchen? I didn't hear her footsteps.
"Fuck, fuck, fuck... fucking hell!" My eyes widened more and I immediately raised my hand to support her body, but no doubt in my that I would come tumbling around with her if she ever did fell down. She's strong and... big!
"Your feet is bleeding! Golly! Come on, let me help you get to the living." Her hand automatically took a hold of mine while she kept cursing. I just pretended to not hear it, if only I could close my ears but my hands are all full. "What happened to you? Where does it hurt? Golly." I rambled as we walked past the kitchen into the living room where I helped her sit down on the couch, her body almost pulling mine along as she did so.
I immediately stood up straight and ran to the kitchen. "Wait for me." I looked for a clean cloth and found nothing. "Do you have any first aid kit here?!" I yelled gently through the kitchen as I rummaged around.
"By the restroom!" She yelled out with a booming voice and I immediately went to the restroom near. I thankfully quickly found a clean cloth and a box of aid kit beside it, taking it in my hands I immediately ran back, putting it on her feet before I went back again to the kitchen to get a big bowl and then filled it with water.
"Just wait for me, Natalia!" I said in a hurry. I was already panicking, especially after seeing the blood stream going to the floor of her living room.
Golly, hurry up, Y/n!
Soon enough, I was sitting by her feet, my leg folded so I was practically sitting on my ankles. The first thing I did was to stop the bleeding, and then after that I cleaned it with the things available inside the kit for cleaning the wounds along with my bowl of water. She was quiet the whole time, if it were me, I would be crying. The wound is not that big but it is deep, but at the same time there were no stitcher needed.
Good thing Lucy taught me many things.

3rd Person's POV:
As silence enveloped the surrounding of Natasha's living room, only the sound of Y/n's hand tending her foot was heard. The younger girl was too focused on mending what was hurt to notice the pair of green forest eyes gazing at her. The bumps running along Natasha's skin at the feeling her soft and gentle touch.
She's never been handled like this before, with so much care, so much... Gosh, she's thinking too much once again. Y/n's hand gracefully worked through helping Natasha's wound, while Natasha almost forgot what happened to her already.
"Uhmm..." Y/n cleared her throat, taking Natasha out of the trance she was in. "Would you... would you like something to eat?" Y/n asked, so soft that Natasha could possibly sleep at the sound of it. "How are you feeling? Do you need anything?" Y/n rambled as she rolled the gauze around Natasha's foot.
There was a moment of silence, Y/n could feel herself getting nervous, already wishing to take back what she said. Suddenly, Natasha ask, "Where did you learn that?"
"Lucy—she's my... uhm... my caregiver. She's been with me since I was a baby. She uh... she thought me many things, including this." Y/n said and Natasha couldn't help but hear the longingness lacing through her voice. There was a certain sadness that Natasha couldn't pinpoint. But, she chose to not ask anything, feeling that it might be a sensitive topic.
"Ahhhh... Lucille, right?" Y/n's head snapped up at her, her eyes filled with wonder. Their face was inches far away from each other as Natasha was leaning forward.
"You know her?" Y/n asked before looking down, as if shying away from Natasha's deep gaze.
"Yeah, I do. Been so long since I last talked to her... I was maybe... 8 or 10 above I don't know." There was an anomaly in Natasha's voice, a certain softness as she shared something she didn't know she would share. It was a very long time, she's not usually like this, sharing something to someone. But, it felt right as those words automatically came out her mouth.
Y/n was silent, only nodding her head as a reply but Natasha could see the gears working through her head. "Aren't you hot?" Natasha blurted, suddenly.
"Hmm?" Y/n asked, looking up while holding Natasha's foot.
Natasha gazes at the girl's face, from how her eyebrows were raised in question and how her eyes circled in wonder. Her pink mouth agape as her nose widens a little in every breath. "You're wearing a sweater and pants. You're all covered up." Natasha said, her eyes focused on Y/n's lips.
Y/n is not an idiot, she sensed how Natasha's eyes raked her face, shying away, she looked down, deciding to finish mending her feet. "I'm uh... no, I'm fine." Now, Natasha observed that there was an edge on her voice, as if wanting to drop the topic down.
Full of wonder, Natasha thought. She's mysterious but at the same time she's an open book, full of words that Natasha is yet to dicover. She could only wonder what lies beneath the cover.
"There. All done. Stay here, I'll clean the vase-would you like something first? Water?..." Y/n started cleaning up the mess she made while mending Natasha's foot. "Anything?" Looking up to see Natasha's burning gaze still on her.
"No. No, nothing..." Y/n nodded and said a small 'okay', standing up with the things in her hand.
"If you need me just call out, okay? You just stay here and don't put any pressure on that, it might start bleeding." Y/n explained before disappearing into the kitchen.
Natasha was left in her own thoughts, her eyes not leaving the vacant space where the young girl had disappeared. What the hell just happened? There were no awkwardness around them, maybe Y/n's shying away, but beyond that it was... comfortable. Natasha felt comfortable... she felt fuzzy, as if those splitting moments were merely a dream.
Is she dreaming?
She could hear Y/n walking around behind her, then the sound of the glass being picked up. It was as if all her senses was focused on the girl, and she let it be as she rest on the sofa.
Before she knew it, she was already napping on her million dollar couch, her heart beating in a soft beat for the first time as her mind was somehow at peace while she uses the soft and gentle movement of the girl as a music to fall asleep on.

jock g!p yujin that likes to brag about her length and about the countless of girls she has banged when in reality she's a virgin 🫢🫢 sub jock g!p yujin in short 😵💫😵💫
omgggg what if you're like, kinda popular and yujin has this big dumb crush on you but she doesn't know what to do with it so she just becomes super annoyinggg?? 😭😭 as anon said, boasts about the very much not-real girls that she has fucked just to build this fuckgirl reputation of hers bcs she thought it would make you notice her more... and it did! for the wrong reasons! one day rumors started going around that yujin has had sex with your friend jiwon but as far as you knew, jiwon was a virgin and she would definitely tell you if she got fucked by anyone! by ahn yujin, no less! and, according to the rumor, in that pool party you hosted two weeks ago!! so naturally, you started to investigate this bcs you didn't like that people were bothering your friend about the true state of her virginity 😠
apparently, your way of investigating was cornering yujin in the locker rooms after her soccer team's practice. smiling and waving at her teammates, even chatting for a bit, and appearing so warm and sweet until you turned your attention to yujin and became cold and intimidating. but maybe that was yujin's crush on you talking. she was taller than you, built, and most likely stronger, but you had her backed up against the cool metal lockers, her breath shaking and legs feeling like jelly. god, you were so pretty up close—yujin's cock was hard already.
"i don't like that you're ruining my friend's reputation just to boost your own." you had said, glaring up at the taller girl. yujin swears she nearly moaned as the sight of you swiping your tongue across your bottom lip for a split second! she was so whipped 😭😭
"w-w-well, what're you gonna do about it?" yujin knew she had lost the battle before it even started but she wasn't going to go down without a fight!! she didn't think it through though 🤨 yujinnie hugging a textbook so close to her chest while you leaned closer,,, god if looks could kill... yujin would be rotting underground right about now,, still, despite being fucking terrified for her life, her cock only grows harder and the slightest friction made her whimper,, and GOSH it didn't help that you were within kissing distance!! yujin feels your breath on her lips and she—did she fucking moan???
hehehsidjd yujin dropping the textbook to cover her mouth,, soooo embarrassed of herself while you stared at her incredulously,, then your eyes happened to roam further down and there it was...
"oh."
yujin wanted to sink into a bottomless hole right then and there, but it was when you cupped her bulge that her mind goes blank,, quite literally, too! she couldn't move, she couldn't think, she couldn't do anything!! 😵💫 mmssdhjsdgdj softly squeezing her hard cock through the shorts she uses for practice,, staring at her so intently as she tries her hardest not to moan too loudly bcs people were still outside!! and yujin knows she could be loud :((( "hm? what? i thought you've done this before, yujin...? bending a girl over right there, on the sink... you love talking about that one, don't you?" you would say while she squirms and swallows down her sounds,,
"f-fuck... no, i-i-i'm sorry, alright?? i'll s-stop saying all that shit, i swear..." yujinnie whining :((( she didn't know whether she should stop you or not bcs on one hand, this was everything she fucking wanted in life but on the other, her pride is telling her to keep up appearances especially in front of her crush!! ☹️
"what? are you saying you've been lying?" oh you were so sick. your lips curling into a dark smile when the pup looked down in the embarrassment... "aww, big and tough jock ahn yujin is a virgin after all, huh?" you placed a finger under her chin and made her look up,, her eyes were tearing up from humiliation,, "you're lucky you're hot. or else, i would've destroyed your stupid reputation." and suddenly, you're pulling out her dick??!! "don't worry, yuj. after all of this, nobody will doubt that you've had some good pussy." fuck, yujin thought she was going crazy 😵💫😵💫
sitting her down on one of the benches, getting down on your knees and taking her cock in your mouth <33 eyes looking right into hers as you both sucked and jacked her off 🤤 her not knowing what to do other than just sit there and moan and whine :((( strings of curses leaving yujin's lips as her fingers brush through your hair, tugging at it lightly everytime you swipe your tongue over slit 🤤🤤 "what's wrong, baby? feels too good...? ah.." watching as yujin nodded helplessly,, god she was pathetic... slumping back against the lockers with drool dripping down the side of her mouth... you wanted nothing more than to break her 😵💫
feeling her get tense and stiffen up and immediately pulling your mouth off of her, "w-what... i was about to—" nearly knocking the air out of her lungs when you stood up and pulled down your panties 😳 "i know. this'll be way better." you climbed onto her lap, kissing her forehead before sitting down on her cock 😵💫 it took her by surprise, your warmth and how tight you felt around her dick 😵💫😵💫 yujinnie's head collapsing on your chest while you made yourself comfortable, her hands clutching your uniform tightly bcs she didm't know what else to do :((( having to grab her face to make her look up at you, "look at me while i ride you." oh yeah yujin was so going to jack off to this tonight—
gawddd her moans being louder than before as you bounced up and down her cock 🫠 it should be noted that the door opened and immediately closed at least five times while you were riding yujin 😭😭 thank god yujin's moans scared everybody away... or else they would've seen your pussy getting stretched out by this loser jock 😵💫
yujin screaming in pleasure as she held you close, face buried on your neck, "mmhn...! ahh—(y/n)... i-i think... fuck..!" and suddenly she's gripping your ass???

“Expensive”
sypnosis; being an OF wasn't that hard , one pic here and there , yet sometimes it intrigued who was these people—especially your top payer
cw; smut (!) , sw!reader , pervy Lara , swearing, , usage of degrading names , kinky shit , G!P Lara, not proofread, men do not interact!!
"what the fuck" you exhale as you take a look at your dms , one thing about being an OF model I guess — men will request the most outrageous shit ever
"fuck it" you say picking out one of the request— this one wasn't too bad oh! and it's made by your top payer
"wear my favorite lingerie?— not bad" you say , she payed like what thousands every month practically paying for your monthly dues
going to your closet and picking out one, which one pink? maybe red?— god it said your favorite why are you stressing it out
deciding on an simple pink one with ribbons , sighing out of relief — now all you have to do is shower and get the set up ready
--
after setting up the cameras and most importantly the lingerie, you get into position and take pictures
"wait should I text this to her? or is it a him?" you never really knew the gender since Lara went on your page under an anonymous name
after the"photoshoot" you ofcourse had to edit them think of a caption and so many things
afterwards you sent it to her , thanking her for her donations
"hello!— i noticed you were my top payer, here's a little thanks 😉" and sent , now we wait?
ding!
ding!
"oh my gosh— thank youu , honestly love your content!!" she immediately replied which surprised you
i mean the way she types , is she a girl??
"welcomee , if it doesn't bother you are you a female??" you ask , confused
"female , why?—I'm Lara by the way" she replied right away so she had a lot of time in her hands
oh and Lara? is that why her user was just L?
"nothing! — I was just wondering" you replied
--
a few days passed by , and Lara did not miss a single hour of donating
"hey—i was wondering how much I can uhm pay you to meet me in person?" Lara suddenly chats you
at first you were taken a back but after a little thought you decided to agree
"can you please show me pictures of yourself first?" you replied, yes you knew she was a girl but you can never be too sure
L sent three files
your phone rings , opening the photos you were stunned she looked beautiful, her eyes were like a siren calling out to you
"wow you're gorgeous" you replied
soon you were both planning out the day and time you would meet , you both settled for her apartment
--
the day comes and your standing outside her apartment, you were strangely sweating and your heart raced
"hey—how are you" Lara says as she opens the door , she looked mesmerizing her arms were toned, her face was sculpted by god himself
"uhmm" she trails off , god did you just snoozed off
"oh uhm sorry! " you replied, she lets you in and you both settled at the living room , her apartment looked expensive, I mean considering she spent thousands on you she can probably spend millions alone
"drink?" Lara asks , handing you a glass with some nice wine in it , she took a sip out of hers god she looked hot
"thanks.." taking a sip aswell , it tasted spectacular, like expensive, fine wine
a little bit of chatting and talking about your interest , it truly felt like a date but it's weird since you know she pays to see you
maybe it was crazy that you got drunk because of wine , but your tolerance was as low as 0
you were checking her out shamelessly at this point, her fingers , her face gosh , your eyes trailed down to her thighs , wait is that a bulge?—she noticed you especially where you were looking
"why princess? , want to try?" she ask her voice was husky and laced with seductiveness
you couldn't think straight , you aren't straight that's one thing
you hadn't noticed how close you both were till you felt her hands on your waist hoisting you to sit on her lap
your arms wrapped around her nape , core perfectly aligned with her bulge — you were gonna lose it
"my pretty girl — tell me what you want" she purrs
"please" you pathetically whine against her , her lips found yours , her hands deftly removing your clothing till you were left with your undergarments
"shit" she whispers , she loved it truly
"don't stare" did you just get embarrassed?, you did this for a living selling pictures of your body
to make you comfy she removes hers aswell leaving herself in some boxers and sports bra
"gosh you look better in real life" she says , was that a compliment?
"i just didn't expect you to be whore outside OF aswell" now you're soaked , how can someone make you feel this way when they degrade you
slowly she removes your lacy undergarments , her fingers finding your swollen clit begging for attention
"so wet , how nasty of you" she snickers
you whine , god your head felt fuzzy from her words and her fingers , have mercy on me Lara
"your cunt is so tight" she tsks , as her fingers probe your insides
by this point moans fill her house , you gently rock back and forth on her fingers seeking pleasure
until you felt her pull out her fingers at first you whined earning you a deep chuckle from the indian
you felt a much more bigger thing replace it — god was that her shit .it felt amazing the stretch that her tip kissed your cervix
"faster please" you moan , as she started bouncing you on her , you started blushing and sweating out of pure pleasure
her hands snaking around your breast taking one in her mouth , swirling her tounge around it
"gonna fill you up" she pants , hemr moans mix with yours as she keeps a brutal pace , the knot in your stomach quickly getting tighter
"please fill me up!!" you moan pathetically
"such a fuckin' whore for me" she breathes out before finally painting your insides
you silently scream—she prolonged your orgasm until you felt exhausted
pulling out of you , Lara took a look at your cunt dripping with her cum
"beautiful" she says before carrying you to her bed resting you there
"are you okay?" her kind demeanor now back
"yes thank you" you replied
"okay that's good— take a nap , I'll wake you up when dinners ready" she says smiling at you
you hum far too tired to form words

Cassie x male reader
She is really attached to him and is by his side 24/7 and she thinks he is getting tired of her and being clingy so he reassures her and it’s just fluff
Clingy
request for: anon!
paring: cassie howard x male!reader
warnings: fluff, hurt/comfort, overthinking, negative self talk
Cassie Howard was a lover girl. She loved love, she loved being loved and she loved loving others. She had been in a few relationships here and there, and she fell hard for every guy she was with. Many of those guys had just been with her for the sexual benefits that came with being in a relationship, some of them because they really liked her. Regardless of the reason, every one of those relationships ended the same way; her being broken up with.
"I'm not looking for anything serious."
"I'm not into you like that."
"I'm interested in someone else one."
"I just want to work on myself."
She'd heard every reason in the book, and they all hurt. Breakups always were painful, but having a bullshit excuse come with it made it even worse. Out of all of the excuses she'd heard, there was one that stood out the most. One that hurt more than all the rest, one that was more common for her to hear.
"You're just too clingy, it's too much."
She would rather hear anything but that. The word clingy cut her deep, it was a continuous wound that never healed regardless of who she was with. She couldn't help it, she wanted the person she was with to know she loved them and she wanted to feel that love was reciprocated. She often seeked out reassurance, none of them ever gave it. Her love ran so deep, all she wanted was that same type of love in return. Granted, she had also never been in a healthy relationship, until she met Y/n Y/l/n.
Cassie met him during her senior year a little while after her split from Chris McKay. She knew of Y/n, even if she didn't know him personally. He was a hockey player at East Highland, one of their best players. He was a senior just like her, and was relatively popular. The party— that was being hosted by someone whose name she couldn't remember— was being held at a large house with hundreds of people from their school. She and her sister Lexi arrived with their group of friends after spending hours getting ready together. She hadn't been single for this long until a while, but for once, she didn't mind. She was okay, she felt alright. She enjoyed spending the time getting ready and looking pretty for herself and not for someone else, it felt so good. Even knowing she would possibly run into McKay at the party didn't bother her or make her feel pressured to look perfect. She wanted to look perfect for herself. She was proud of herself for that.
It had been a while since her and her friends went to a party together, they were making the most out of it and living it up. Maddy and Nate just so happened to also be split up, so they weren't spending the evening clinging to their man's arms. They were dancing with their girls, laughing, and having fun.
At some point during the night, Cassie decided she wanted a drink, as anyone attending a party would. There was a bar area she had been told was set up in the middle of house, and as she made her way to said bar area, some people who were mindlessly dancing bumped into her rather aggressively. Which then sent her flying into another person, sending them to the floor. That person just so happened to Y/n Y/l/n.
"Oh my gosh, I am so sorry! Are you okay? I'm so sorry," she frantically told him, helping him up from the ground.
"No worries, I'm okay," Y/n said, rubbing the back of his head as he accepted her help up.
"I feel horrible. I'm really sorry, I didn't mean to knock you over. I was trying to get through and there were people dancing and—"
"Hey, seriously, it's alright. No need to apologize," He gave her a small smile, "I'm used to it from Hockey." He joked.
Of course, that didn't stop her from feeling bad for knocking into him. Every time she tried to apologize, he was wave her off, assuring her that it truly was alright and it was no big deal. She offered to make him a drink as a final apology, claiming she knew a special recipe she could make with the liquor that was present. He took that opportunity to make an agreement; if he accepted the drink, she would stop apologizing.
"Okay, fine. I can agree to that," Cassie chuckled, grabbing two cups and a couple of the bottles. Before she could start pouring, Y/n put a hand on her arm.
"We have to pinky swear," He grinned, holding his pinky out to her. She playfully rolled her eyes before locking her pinky with his, squeezing it slightly.
"Pinky swear." That lead to the two spending the whole night talking to one another, getting to know each other. He was such a gentleman and so kind right off the bat in a way none of the other guy's at their school were. He was also strikingly handsome, which was just an added bonus. They spent quite a lot of the night chit chatting, not realizing how long it had been until Maddy came looking for Cassie.
"There you are, come dance with me!" Maddy exclaimed, taking Cassie's hand and trying to drag her away.
"Hold on, one sec Maddy," The blonde said, motioning to the boy next to her. Maddy made an o"o" shape with her mouth before smirking at her, giving her a thumbs up and walking away.
Y/n chuckled the interaction, "Well, I better let you get back to your friends. I've kept you held up long enough," he stated.
"Yeah, I guess. It was really nice talking to you, Y/n. We'll have to talk more soon," Cassie responded, a large grin on her face.
"Yes, definitely," Y/n said before quickly grabbing his phone from his back pocket. "Would you... maybe want to give me your number? So we can keep talking more? Only if you want to, only if you're comfortable with that." His cheek flushed a light shade of pink as he waited for her response.
"Of course, I'd love that." They exchanged phone numbers before bidding their goodbyes, both smiling equally as wide.
That was just the start of their story. They quickly began texting all the time, every day. They would meet up every now and then at school, hang out after school, and before long Cassie began to develop feelings for the boy. This time, it was different. Y/n was unlike any other boy she had ever met; He was funny, kind, respectful, and cared about more than just her pretty face or body. He cared about all the little things, just as much as the big things. He knew all her favorite things, all her little habits and ticks, and he knew how to make her smile.
About two months later, Y/n decided he was going to ask the girl he had fallen so hard for to be his girlfriend. It started with him asking her in a date, to which she said yes. He had arranged a surprise dinner at her favorite restaurant and got her a big, beautiful bouquet of her favorite flowers. After dinner, he took her to his house where he decorated the finished basement with lights, flower petals, and candles. He set up a cozy movie station for them to watch her favorite movies.
During the movie, they went from sitting next to each other to Cassie snuggling into his chest. As the credits rolled, he shifted upwards causing her to look up.
"Y/n? You okay?" Cassie asked, her eyebrows furrowing together.
He took a deep breath in, preparing himself in his head. "Cass?" He said.
"Yes?"
"I need to ask you something," he kept his sentences short in order to not word vomit due to his intense nerves. Cassie sat up straight, looking him in the face as she felt her heart start to beat faster. Could this be it? Is he gonna ask what I think? She thought to herself.
"So, I'm sure you can probably tell based on me asking you on a date, but I really, really like you," he began, feeling himself blush.
"I really like you too, Y/n." She beamed, unable to hide the pure joy on her face.
"Yeah?" He asked, grinning like he'd just won an award. The girl nodded, and he inched his hand towards hers. "Will you be my girlfriend?"
"I would love to be your girlfriend, Y/n."
Just like that, they were officially boyfriend and girlfriend. Y/n swore he'd never been happier in his whole life, and he made it his mission to show her every single day. He brought her flowers on a daily basis, took her on all kinds of dates every week, made sure she knew how beautiful she was every day, and made sure make his devotion known.
In every relationship she had been in at this point, she had been spoiled, but not to this extent. Nobody had ever shown her this kind of affection, let alone kept it consistent no matter how much time passed. She had never felt so loved, and it made her fall in love with him even harder than she already was. She couldn't believe how lucky she had been to find him.
Months passed, the two were more attached at the hip than ever. At school, Y/n walked Cassie to all her classes, sat with her at lunch, and drove her to and from school. After school, she would attend all his practices and games for both sports depending on the season. He would go to all her ice skating practices, and anything she found important. They spent all their free time together, it was hard to get one away from the other. Y/n's friends made fun of him, but he always shut them down and made sure they knew not to make any comments that were anything but nice about his girl. He didn't care what they had to say, all he cared about was Cassie. He pushed her to make time for her friends as well as him, but he didn't mind not hanging out with his friends that often. None of them were as close as Cassie was to her friends.
Eventually, they met each other's parents and families. Casie invited him over for dinner and it was safe to say Suze absolutely adored Y/n. She made sure to point out the drastic change she'd seen in her daughter since he came along, she hadn't seen her that happy in a long time. Not even with McKay. When meeting Y/n's family, Cassie was invited to their annual bowling night. It was the family's thing, it was very rare for them to invite newcomers. But, Cassie was different. They gladly made the exception, and ended up all loving the girl just as much as Suze loved Y/n.
Their relationship was relatively flawless, though they definitely had their struggles every now and then. Cassie had never been in a relationship that was healthy, and had plenty of work to do to make this relationship stay that way. She had insecurities and fears she needed to stay mindful of, and Y/n was there to help her every step of the way. He reassured her, comforted her, and was very patient and supportive of her. For the most part, she learned to feel secure.
One thing Cassie hadn't learned to handle though, was her clinginess. Sometimes, she wouldn't even catch herself being clingy. Other times, her ex's voices rang in her mind telling her she was "too clingy" and "too much" nonstop. When that happened, she would begin to pull away a little bit in fear he would think the same thing as the other's did. Y/n only ever noticed a difference when she would pull away from him, which left him confused. He would try to pry and talk to her about it, and every time she would just brush it off like it was nothing. He could clearly tell it was something, but she wouldn't budge.
That was until she began acting that way in the middle of date night. It was their date night in for the month, where they typically would cook together and watch whatever show they were currently binging together. One date a month they would do this, the rest of their dates they went out and about. Cassie was usually rather cuddly and touchy with her boyfriend, she never found herself overthinking during their dates. This particular day was a Friday, and at school she heard other cheerleaders talking very loudly about her boyfriend in the locker rooms after practice.
"I can't believe Cassie and Y/n are still together," one girl said. Cassie, who was in a bathroom stall, tried her hardest to ignore them. At first, she brushed it off, until they kept going and would not shut the fuck up.
"I know right! How is he not sick of her?"
"She literally throws herself at him 24/7, it's insane."
"She is so fucking desperate, he must get so tired of it. I swear I saw him move away from her when she tried to hug him today."
"It's about time, maybe he's realizing he can someone less pathetic."
The blonde couldn't get their words out of her head, no matter how hard she tried. If other people thought that way, surely he did too, right? People she barely even talked to could sense how clingy she was, and apparently how annoyed he appeared. That right there was enough to send her into an overthinking episode, one much worse than she'd had in a while. As Y/n dished up their places, she was leaned against the counter, staring off into space as she thought it all over. She was pulled from her thoughts when her boyfriend wrapped an arm around her, telling her the food was ready. She quickly shied away from him, bidding him a thank you as she took her plate and headed towards the stairs.
"Hey, babe?" Y/n called out, his tone laced with concern. She turned around to look at him as he grabbed his own plate and began walking towards her. "Are you alright?"
"I'm fine," she whispered, staring at the ground and going down the stairs. The boy furrowed his eyebrows, following close behind her. They sat on the couch together with their plates in their laps, Y/n taking a seat close to his girlfriend. She scooted over the slightest bit, but wanting to appear like she was all over him. Many red flags were going off in Y/n's head, she wasn't being her usual, lovey, talkative self. Something was definitely wrong. The boy kept making advances in attempt to be close to her, just to be rejected each and every time.
After a half hour of them going back and forth, him silently trying to fix the problem, he decided to speak up. "Baby?"
"Hm?"
"What's going on with you today?" He finally asked, staring at her with a look of concern. She shifted uncomfortably under his gaze as she tried not to make eye contact.
"Nothings going on," she lied, looking everywhere but at him.
"Yes there is," he stated. "I know you like the back of my hand and you've been acting super off since after practice. Talk to me, love."
"I don't know what you're talking about," Y/n knew what she was doing; she was bullshitting him to avoid talking about the problem. If it was over something small, he would wait until she was ready to talk about it. This was different, and he wanted— no, needed to know what was wrong so he could fix it.
"You've been really quiet, which isn't like you. You haven't really let me touch you, and you haven't been touchy with me either—"
"What's so bad about that?" she cut him off, her voice just barely above a whisper.
"What? What do you mean?" Y/n asked, feeling even more confused and concerned.
"I mean I'm too clingy, anyways. And I'm too much, what's so bad about me not acting like that?" As she spoke, her eyes filled with tears. The moment Y/n noticed, he was taking her face in his hands and moving her head to face him. She still avoided his gaze as she tried to keep her tears at bay.
"Baby, look at me," she shook her head no, but that didn't stop him. "Cassie, please. I need you to look at me,"
After what felt like forever, she finally met his gaze and he swore he felt himself melt in her eyes.
“Cassie, you are not too clingy or too much.“ he told her firmly.
“But, I’m all over you all the time. It’s pathetic,” the girl scoffed as her boyfriend wiped her tears with his thumbs.
“Why would you say that, love? You’re not pathetic,” he whispered with a sad frown.
“Because it’s true, and you know it too.” She moved backwards away from his grasp before wiping at her own face with her hand.
“What?! No! I don’t think you’re pathetic baby, not at all. I would never, ever think that of you.”
“Maybe not now, but you will! They always do! I’m— I’m always too much, or I’m too clingy or desperate and everyone thinks so! Everyone always gets sick of me, just like you will because they’re all right!” Cassie cried out, letting her head fall into her hands as soft sobs escaped her lips. Y/n couldn’t believe his ears, it broke his heart right in half to hear that his girl thought so low of herself— and even more so that she thought he believed it, too.
“Woah, woah, woah. Who said that?” He was quickly moving to wrap his arms around her shoulders, being weakly shoved off. He didn’t let that stop him, and he pulled her into his chest and held her tightly as she cried. He stroked her hair and kissed her forehead, rocking her back and forth. They sat like that for who knows how long before Cassie calmed down, feeling embarassed about her outburst.
“Are you ready to talk, baby?” Y/n asked as he reached for a nearby box of tissues. Cassie nodded before blowing her nose. After that, she told him everything from all of the things her exes had said to her to what she overheard the girls saying in the locker room. He felt his heart shatter even more, all he wanted was to scoop her in his arms and love her forever. “My love, I need you to know they are all wrong. So wrong! I could never get sick of you, and I will never get sick of you or annoyed with you. Sure, maybe you can be clingy, but I love it. I love your clingy, because I am just as clingy to you if not more. I love how attached and touchy you are with me, I love all of it… I love you, Cassie.”
Cassie’s head perked up, fearing she misheard him. “You what?”
“I love you, Cassie. I am so in love with you,” he whispered, tucking her hair behind her ear and cupping her cheek. “You don’t have to say it back if you’re not ready, but I just wanted you to know.”
“I love you too, Y/n.” She grinned, cutting him off.
Y/n chuckled as his own smile grew. He pulled her in and gave her a soft, passionate kiss. He knew he wasn’t going to just skip over what she was worried about, and was going to continue to reassure her, but right now he was so ecstatic to know that she loved him just like he loved her.
okay this turned out WAAAYYYY longer than this was meant to, and didn’t necessarily follow canon… but i’m not mad at it!! i hope you all liked it, and i hope the anon who requested it loves it!! i’m so glad to be getting back into writing. i have so much more planned to come out and i hope you’re all as excited as i am!!

𝗪𝗘𝗥𝗘 breakups always this hard? I don't remember feeling this amount of pain the last time I broke up with someone. In fact, the last four boyfriends I had, I probably didn't cry once after our breakup. It wasn't necessarily that I wasn't sad or hurt by the breakup, but rather that it didn't burn as much.
I huffed, sitting on the floor was usually comforting, but now it felt cold and empty.
Especially without him.
I heard the door knock, but I couldn't bring myself up from the position I sat in; either my legs didn't work or I didn't really comprehend that the noise at the front door was a knock but either way I didn't answer it.
Which led to more knocks, they were rhythmic and consistent but quiet. But I sat still and immobile on the floor, eyes glued to the blank cream colored wall beside the oak wood doorway. I saw the hazy complexion of someone through that clouded mirror pane that stood angular at the top of the door.
Someone who had, what looked to be, pretty blonde hair, long at least to their shoulders. I could see them glance around. And that's when I realized it was Hyunjin.
I finally scurried up, finding the courage to finally stand. I scrambled toward the door, opening it hastily. I met the eyes of the boy, his brown, galaxy of chocolate irises meeting mine. I found it in myself to smile, he returned the favor, widening his arms and meeting me in the middle.
I gratefully joined the hug, my breath wavering while I resisted the urge to let my tears slip. Resisting the urge to cry was always hard when you're surrounded by people you care about; the sting of salt brines hurts more. But I sucked in a breath and pulled apart from his hug when I began to feel the pain subside.
I glanced up at the taller boy, noticing his calm, empathetic expression. He gave a weak smile, somber yet polite.
He didn't say anything until I did, "Gosh, Hyun, I'm sorry for calling you out so late..." I felt embarrassed that I'd let my emotions get the best of me, I felt like a nuisance. And no one likes to feel like nuisance.
Hyunjin raised a hand to my cheek, brushing away the sticky tears that began to dry at the corners of my eyes.
"It's not late at all," Hyunjin affirmed. Though the clock on the microwave just a foot away said otherwise, "It's only, like, 1 a.m. no biggie."
I couldn't help but laugh. He had an effortless humor, though he was quiet and always made me feel safe, his teasing jokes always helped me distract myself from whatever was bothering me.
"Right, no biggie," I replied, allowing him into my home and closing the door behind me. I watched the taller boy walk in with his hands in his pockets, eyes wandering as he looked at my house.
Admittedly, it was messy. The dishes in the sink were unkept and the couch was covered in pillows and random trinkets that shouldn't have been there at all. I hid my face, ashamed at the mess.
But before I could come up with some lame excuse, Hyunjin turned around and gave a wry smile. As if he understood. And a small part of me melted again, I felt the salt seer my vision until I blinked it away. Hyunjin's expression didn't diminish, his smile never faded. He looked effortlessly beautiful.
"So, how are you doing, Y/n?" Hyunjin asked, stepping closer until our feet were merely inches apart. I sighed, unsure why his expression was beginning to make my heart flutter. His eyes reflected me, they were so wide and caring; I could feel the passion ooze out of every word
I blinked away and chuckled, brushing off the question in fear of scaring him off with... emotions. Emotions are hard.
Carefully, I stepped toward the counter and began to toss unclean dishes and pans into the sink, realizing suddenly that the kitchen was beginning to grow dirtier and dirtier by the second. My eyes refused to meet his again.
"I'm fine. Y'know, could be better- um, you can sit down if you like," I was rambling, the words weren't really making sense. And emotions were always hard to put into words; maybe that's because it's hard to put emotions you can't understand into words.
You can never put into words what you don't really understand.
"Fine? Thats what you say when you don't want to answer the question," Hyunjin have a dry chuckle, unsure what to say to help you open up to him. He wanted you to open up to him, that's all he wanted. Hyunjin prayed that you felt safe enough to do so, "Talk to me, Y/n."
Hyunjin began to help me around the kitchen, clearly ignoring the last bit of my rambling.
I turned my head to him, only for a split second as I tried to construe my words in a way that wouldn't sound bat shit crazy.
How could I tell him that the guy who I thought loved me, dumped me for some chick he met last week? That's embarrassing. So, unimaginably embarrassing.
I blushed and glanced away. Hyunjin didn't know what was happening, or why you were avoiding his eyes, but it was beginning to piss him off. All he wanted to do was to look at you and listen; but he can't listen if you're not speaking.
I continued to scramble about, finally putting the last dirty dish in the sink, and turning to him with a forced smile that made my face feel like strings were pulling at the corners of my lips.
"It's fine, Hyun," I reaffirmed, crossing my arms playfully without seeming standoff-ish. At least I hope i didn't seem that way.
He gave me a look, as if he knew what was brewing in my mind. A small part of me got butterflies when he looked at me like that. For some odd, godforsaken reason, I liked the way his eyes bore into me like that. Or the way his lips curled wide into a unsure scowl. Or especially the way that little mole under his eyes curled when his eyes creased.
For some reason I felt the need to kiss that mole. But I bit my tongue and turned back around, facing the tile backwash behind the counter.
"Y/n..." Hyunjin spoke in a sing song voice, tiptoeing over and leaning on the counter beside me, eyes forcefully staring, urging me to stare back.
I blinked and met his eyes; a wave of nervousness washed over me when I realized just how close our noses were, he was practically breathing on my face. I caught a whiff of his cologne- or was it just how he smelled naturally -it resembled the smell of milk chocolate, and a bit of lavender.
He smelled like fresh lavender and milk chocolate. I didn't know anyone could smell that way. When he had hugged me earlier I didn't catch this smell, I was too focused on holding the tears. But now that he was so close, and I was focusing on him, it was divine.
"Y/n," He repeated, making my gaze shift back to his, he sighed, taking my cheek in hand. It was definitely to comfort me but my heart beat sped up to the point where I felt like it would leap out of my chest, "Talk to me. Please. I want to help you."
"I... Hyun, he left me," I finally spoke. But I gasped when I realized I'd fallen for Hyunjin's charms. He seemed taken aback too, his eyes widened and his head twitched in a way that made him seem angry. And for a split moment I thought I saw a flash of rage coat his features.
"Chan broke up with me." I restated, eyes fluttering while I somberly lowered my face until my eyes met the ground.
Hyunjin was silent for a minute, and for a moment I though he would laugh, tease me. Or maybe even be mad at me. Ask me what I did to deserve this, or blame me. But Hyunjin's touch became firm, his touch hot as he raised his other hand to my face too.
He cupped my cheeks, soft eyes remaining still, "Oh, Y/n, don't cry. Please don't cry."
But his words only made the tears slip, the fell into his hands, grazing the soft skin of his knuckles and rolling down until the lightly tapped on the floor beneath us. I hummed, keeping my head high as if that would stop those idiotic droplets from falling.
"Oh, I think I made it worse," Hyunjin cooed, whispering while holding back his airy laughter. I chuckled too, swiping away at my eyes until they were just puffy and red, "It's okay, love. You're safe. Chan is an idiot for leaving you. It's okay." My hands rested on his chest, firmly planting themselves there and feeling the quick pace of his heart.
"Hyun, what did I do to make him leave?" I choked, breathing heavy and unsteady while his lips met the skin of my forehead. He kissed my forehead over and over again, comforting hands still holding my cheeks even though my tears soaked his hands.
"Nothing! You didn't deserve this," Hyunjin instantly spoke, pulling his face away and narrowing his eyes, as if mad I'd even ask such a ridiculous question, "Y/n, if I were a bit stronger I'd go over and beat the fucking shit-"
"Jin, don't do that," I giggled, finally smiling wide, "But thank you. Thanks for being here for me."
Hyunjin hummed, scooping me close and holding me tightly in a hug that felt so freeing.
He pulled apart, letting our face stay close while he just gazed at me. His eyes remained slender and still while his breath fanned my face. For a moment, it felt like a kiss until I realized our lips weren't touching.
"I... I'm always gonna be here for you," Hyunjin said shakily, leaning forward with every passing word he made. I found myself following his lead, tiptoeing so our mouths could meet. But just before our lips grazed the other he spoke again, "I have an idea, Y/n."
I hummed, "Hm?"
"How about I help you forget?"
I paused, blinking my eyes away from his lips and meeting his eyes again.
"Forget what?"
"Him."
I gawked at the man, but not long before he pressed our lips together, casually yet so effortlessly kneading our lips together. Hyunjin hummed lowly, making this guttural sound that sent butterflies into my stomach and made my mind spin. I had to grab his arms for a second, pushing him back but never letting go of his body.
It just felt too right yet so incredibly and undeniably wrong.
"Hyun... we can't-"
But I couldn't find the words, everything went blank as I tried to reason with my own mind; I tried and failed to make sense of the way this all felt. The way his arms rested at my hips now, rubbing delicate circles into the porcelain of my skin. Or the way his eyes would trace my face, over and over again as if he was memorizing every curve and line. Hyunjin's featured remained soft, but a plague of hurt peppered his expression at my words.
"I just don't want this to be... a mistake." I whispered softly, pleading with him, worry making my eyes glaze with tears once again.
"This is not a mistake." He took a moment, letting the words sink in as my eyes fluttered again. His face drew closer and just like the first time our lips connected and sparks flew. I felt everything that was once bland and dark begin to shine like fireflies, peppering my vision in little specks.
"I want you." Hyunjin spoke again, a low and desperate growl leaving his jaw. I felt the passion in every word, his hands gently began to feel the soft fat of my thighs, then my back until he had touched every surface of my body within reach.
I couldn't say no. My hands rested desirably at his neck, feeling the soft strands of his long, ravishing hair between my fingertips. That little moan he let slip into my mouth was addicting, I could practically taste it on my tongue; and it tasted impossibly sweet, almost like an addicting sugary feeling.
"Jin-" I whined into the lovely feeling. His plump lips were working wonders against mine, between every passionate kiss was a reminder that he was here and he real. That this moment was real.
Why did such a big part of me feel so... complete? Almost like the more he kissed me, the more I'd feel. And the more I'd feel would only present to me with unlimited possibilities.
I was already forgetting Chan.
"Sh, baby, let me help you," Hyunjin muttered against my jaw, his lips planting on any surface he could find. From the corner of my mouth to the tepid warmth of my neck, his lips were there. I shivered, fingers tenderly tugging his hair until he hissed against my skin.
"Do you... want me to help you?" A look is empathy warmed his eyes as he pulled away, softly gazing for my approval. I could hear the glimmer of hope coating his words, almost pleading. And as wrong, and maybe even disrespectful it felt, I nodded firmly. Which even surprised me. I responded much to fast.
"Need you to say it, hon." He whispered through an obviously amused grin, gently pressing his hand into the soft skin of my cheeks and rubbing his thumb under my eye.
"Yes. Hyunjin, just make me forget."
"That's what I hoped you'd say." He chuckled, lips already kissing ferociously at mine. We began to back up, going through the open door of the kitchen and gingerly stepping our way into the living room.
That smell of his cologne- the perfect mix of chocolate and warmth -was beginning to make my head spin. I was growing more and more excited as he laid me flat against the couch, standing above me as he slowly unzipped his black hoodie, teeth holding the top of his cloth.
Hyunjin found himself putting on a show, his teeth held tightly to the metal hem of his sweater as his hand teasingly unzipped the fabric. He liked the way your eyes wandered, widening with every bit of skin he revealed.
He finally slid the jacket off, letting it fall on the floor and revealing the thin layer of his white tank top that firmly fit against his slim body. I ogled, my brain has never fully registered how beautiful this boy was until now. Now it just felt surreal to even be in this position with him.
My hands lightly grazed his body, feeling him tense as he leaned himself above me. With himself propped up by his elbows just above my own body, he studied my face, taking in the sight with an almost infatuated stare.
"Hyun... you okay?" I noticed that almost somber look begin to plague the glaze of water in his eyes.
He quickly shook his head, smiling and beginning to kiss my face all over, trailing wet kisses down my neck and collarbone. He muttered a quick, 'I'm fine' before tugging my top upward and off without another moment to spare.
"You're so fucking gorgeous," He mumbled, his words melting together while his pretty eyes fluttered. He almost sounded drunk as he kissed down my stomach, the warm kiss of his lips shocking me with elation.
I groaned as his kiss paused at the top of my pants, his eyes shooting to meet mine which I was compelled to return.
"Look at me, okay?" Hyunjin was gentle as he pulled my pants down, widening his eyes as he stared at my bare thighs, then my soaked panties that seemed to cling to the sex beneath.
I made sure to keep my eyes wide, watching as the boy slid my pants down, anticipating something beautiful as he peppered short and soft kisses to my inner thigh. As if to reassure me with his lips.
I whispered his name. Hyunjin's eyes darted to meet mine, an instantaneous wave of desire, security, and bliss filled my soul. I couldn't help but smile, he grinned back, planting one last kiss to my thigh before flashing his eyes back to my cunt.
A different sparkle glistened in his eye, he looked almost maniacal as he breathed hard against my clothed cunt. I shuddered, barely whispering his name.
I felt his lips kiss my sex, his warm and wet lips electrocuting me with pleasure; short lived, blissful pleasure. I groaned, silently begging him to make me feel more, for his tongue to press into me- to stop teasing me.
"Hyun- please... stop teasing me," I met his eyes as they glowed up at me; hiding the thoughts rapturing across his mind. Silence filled the air around us, making my heart almost stop.
I wondered what made him pause... my begging? Did he not like it?
"Beg again," Hyunjin spoke, pressing two sudden, hot fingers firm against my cunt, eliciting just enough pressure for me to feel warm in the face.
"W-what?"
"Beg. Now."
I thought for a moment, the effortless pleasure I got as he slowly... so painfully slowly... rubbed at my clit. A feeling frustratingly amazing, I hummed in a shaky breath of air.
Hyunjin's expression didn't change, if anything, he looked darker. He knew what he wanted, he wouldn't press on unless I did as he said.
Oh, he definitely liked begging.
"Baby, please," I pleaded, feeling his face grow closer and closer to my cunt until his tongue pressed a wet strip down my cunt; I helplessly shivered, my eyes fluttering at his slightest touch. "Need... it. I need- I need you."
"Need me to what, baby?" Hyunjin demanded with another lick to my underwear, pressing extra firmly against my clit.
I gasped, hands now in his hair, almost pressing his face further into my cunt.
"Need you... to make me feel good," He remained still, keeping my face toward him as my hands combed through his beautiful locks of hair.
"Fuck, I love when you look at me like that," Hyunjin groaned, allowing his hands to finally undress me in one swift motion. He let my underwear fall off my legs, tossing them out of sight and out of mind.
Almost as soon as my bottoms were gone, he began kissing and licking at my cunt, quietly groaning into it as I pulled at his hair. His lips wrapped around my clit, sucking and nipping at the sensitive skin there until my eyes began to beg to be shut. I whined and moaned and pleaded into nothing, like a mewling cat. His eyes would occasionally blink back up at me, checking if I was alright and once he'd confirm it he'd go back to sucking on the sensitive bits of my cunt.
God, was he amazing at it. His tongue slipped into my drenched hole, exploring me with licks in and out. His nose and upper lip would work wonders on my clit. I was beginning to see stars.
And his quiet groans leaving his mouth, as if he were the one getting all the pleasure, that was by far the best part.
I grew quiet apart from my whimpers as his tongue quickened in pace, filling me up then leaving me just as quick.
While his tongue occupied my dripping cunt, his hands held down my squirming thighs, messily gripping them. His hold was firm, right enough to leave red and blue bruises I was sure I'd admire later.
I felt that little bundle of desire and nerves tickle me just right, begging to be released. My hands knotted in his dark hair while I chanted tint whispers of his name, over and over again like a prayer. Before I could even warn him my cum was leaking out onto his tongue, thighs shaking and attempting to close around his head. Hyunjin groaned, nails digging into my skin, tongue helping me ride out my delicious orgasm.
"So good, Y/n," He spoke lowly, rising from between my thighs with shiny lips and a wet chin; the male leaned his body above me, arms flexed just beside my head, giving me a view of the veins growing in his arm, "Gonna have to taste you again later..."
His peachy lips kissed mine, the taste of my own fluids drenching my mouth, salty yet addicting.
But despite the kiss on my lips completely erasing any negative thing I could've been thinking, my mind still wandered elsewhere. Soon the thought of the lovely boy in front of me was replaced with Chan; someone who left me without an explanation why, or how, or at least a respectful goodbye. It was like I was feeling my heart break all over again, chipping more and more pieces away.
"Still thinking about him aren't you?" Hyunjin noticed the way my eyes wandered, disconnected from where I was presently.
"I..."
Hyunjin held the delicate bit of my chin, tipping my face up with his free hand. His gushing, gorgeous eyes intently gazing into mine like chocolate swirls. I could see the perfectly marked beauty mark under his eye, begging me to kiss it, aching for my love.
And suddenly I wasn't thinking about Chan anymore, Hyunjin was all here. He was right here for me, begging me to stay in this moment.
"I'll fuck his memory out of you, baby," Hyunjin spoke surely, breath shaky yet exuding dominance I'd never seen in the boy before, "I'll help you. I promise."
I whined, eyes watching as he unzipped his jeans, taking them off swiftly. His eyes laid on me as his hands worked down the fabric of his boxers, giving me a showcase of his cock; probably the prettiest cock I'd ever seen.
I gave a whiny gasp at the pretty sight. My eyes wandering to the reddened tip that oozed with desire; my mouth went dry yet my cunt throbbed with wetness.
My eyes fluttered back to Hyunjin's in an instant when I felt his hands grip my thighs. A small moan left his plump lips as he guided his cock to my entrance, painfully slow with lidded eyes of lust.
"Say it, baby, c'mon," Hyunjin groaned, his sweaty hair dripping and tickling my cheeks, "Tell me how much you need it."
My palms gripped his shoulders, tightening as he just barely let his tip slip in, the stretch barely noticeable but the desire overpowering.
"Just put it in," I moaned, another inch pushed in, "Put it all the way in... and fuck my brain out... please." I added a polite ending to my vulgar sentence, suddenly feeling shy. I covered my warm cheeks with my palms, hoping he wasn't laughing at my desperation.
But instead I felt him pump into me fully, cockwarming for a moment. Still and breathy as he stared down at me.
"You're so goddamn beautiful," Hyunjin groaned, taking my hands from my cheeks and holding my wrists beside my head, charging his hips in and out of me at an incredibly steady pace.
I moaned in sync with his delectable thrusts, each one hitting a new spongey spot within me, morphing my face into a new look of pleasure.
"S'good!" I breathlessly whimpered between pumps, unable to form any other fathomable word. I tried so hard to keep my eyes wide, to let them meet his in reassurance that he was making me feel good- more than good.
But they fluttered shut, absolutely wrecking my mind with his cock.
"No, no, no," He grabbed my chin again, harsher but making sure to make gentle touches, "Keep them on me, I'm gonna be the one taking care of you from now on, aren't I?"
I nodded meekly, my mouth opening to agree but only being stifled by a moan. The boy chuckled lightly between a shaky pant, it was beginning to get harder to keep up with this pace. But he remained resilient, eyes squinting before widening again, watching as I squirmed.
"Aren't I, sweetheart?" Hyunjin breathed down on me, sweat trickling from his chin as his breathes became more and more erratic. The more erratic the more pornographic they sounded, only fueling the fire of my rising orgasm.
"Y-yes! Jinnie... ah, only you."
"Not that idiot Chan, hm?" Hyunjin persisted, thrusts sloppy, hitting my sweet spot spontaneously. I let out nimble cries that were muffled by his own lips meeting mine, sloppily conjoining our bodies.
"Never," I whimpered between a kiss.
"Forget him," Hyunjin sounded like he was pleading now, his eyes fluttering as he disconnected our mouths and began to work on sensitive bits of my collarbone, "You're mine."
"Just mine." He muttered again into my skin, allowing me to absorb his words, "Fuck! Baby, I'm gonna cum... are you close?"
My fingers pulled at his hair, nails grazing the soft flesh of his neck, "So... close. Don't stop!"
He groaned, pussy drunk and so desperate for release. Hyunjin resisted, withholding that high that was so desperately calling for him, burning to be set free.
Hyunjin began to drill into me harder, maintaining the same speed but hitting deeper into me like a hammer to a nail. My eyes rolled, mouth widened as the delicious embrace of my orgasm arose.
Hyunjin groaned, feeling the pulsating delight of my cunt wrap around his cock, needy and aching.
"Cum- fuck, I'm cumming!" I screamed, my moans stifled by his hand that gently held my jaw, middle and pointer finger pressing my tongue and silencing me by a few octaves.
"Yeah, j-just like that," Hyunjin let his head fall onto my shoulder, last few orgasmic pumps drawing out my climax. He then quickly pulled himself out just in time for his seed to drip down my lower stomach and erotically fall between the folds of my cunt, sloppily creating a white waterfall of both of our juices.
I panted, his fingers leaving my lips and allowing more air to fill my lungs.
Hyunjin groaned as well, but quickly grabbed a tissue from the box behind my head, wiping the mess we'd made while he uttered sweet nothings to me meticulously.
"You did so well, baby..." Hyunjin spoke, kissing the skin of my inner thigh as he cleaned, reassuring me in every way; physical, verbally- any way he could manage.
"S'perfect," He uttered again, meeting my eyes, genuine infatuation piercing his chocolate gaze. Silence coated the air between us. I sat up on the leverage of my elbows, cheeks warm and embarrassed from what we'd done; yet my body felt fulfilled, it felt right where we were right now.
"Jin, do you..." I broke the silence, suddenly aware of how long we'd stayed like that, "Can you kiss me?"
"A-again?"
"Please?"
The boy nodded, clearly shy but still trying to remain relaxed. He crawled over, arms on either side of my body as he craned his neck downward, gently kissing me to accommodate my request.
"Like that?"
He spoke as he pulled away, messy hair and puffy, red lips stained with the permanent gloss of our shared saliva. Hyunjin looked so damn pretty, especially in the dim light, like a moon. He glowed, beautiful and bright. And for a moment I wondered how I hadn't seen him in such a perfect view before. Now as I looked at him I saw someone who was everything I ever needed.
My Hyunjin.
"One more time," I gently held the back of his neck, pulling him down and kissing him with every ounce of love and emotion I had. Pouring my soul into that kiss.
"Are you saying you wanna go again... or...?" Hyunjin remained confused but flustered, eyes reflective of me.
"Just kiss me, like, a lot."

Hello ☺️💚
I hope I can request something, if they are closed please feel free to delete this 🌺🌺
I absolutely I adored your NRC amnesiac MC story with the dorms and would love to see more. It just hit all the tropes I love so much and adore.
Maybe with the rest of the dorms? As scenarios?? Or imagines?? (Honestly I’m a confused when it comes to those terms, so whichever is easier for you)
With pomefiore, ignihyde, and diasomnia? I feel like Vil is going to take one look at mc and go “okay, time to take care of another potato” but lovingly, ignihyde is going ortho is “I have another sibling” and gosh diasomnia is practically family and lilia is going “time to adopt another one 👏👏”
I just found the idea so so cute, but feel free to do whatever you want ☺️🌺
Right so first off I'M SORRY THIS TOOK SO LONG I'M SO HAPPY YOU LIKED THE ORIGINAL ONE!!! Also thank you so much for all the kind comments that you leave on my post I see every single one and it still makes my day to re-read them!
But also GOD I love this idea too and I got way too carried away with this. There's a lot of TWST I gotta catch up on (haven't been able to start chapter 7 yet) so I had to work with what I've got in terms of knowledge of Diasomnia.
I hope this was well worth the wait~! (OG scenario here btw)
Pomefiore
♡ Time passes at Night Raven College, and life continues to move on, as it always has. It’s been months without a single shred of your memories resurfacing, and with no sign of anything returning anytime soon the attention has turned from your past, to your present. Your memory loss has become a simple fact of life at this point, a reality that you had to put on the back burner with everything else that had happened since your arrival and during the winter holidays. You’re thankful that the needless prodding seems to have died down by the time that students start returning back to the school and classes resume. Things return to the only sense of normalcy you’ve ever known, and you think you can get used to this without another incident.
♡ Until VDC happens.
♡ Ramshackle is the only place you have to call home, but even you can admit that it needs a lot of work. It’s a poor excuse for a building, considering the state that it had been left in far before anyone called it home. It at least had running water, and electricity, but compared to the other dorms and their meticulous upkeep by both students and staff, Ramshackle is most certainly the odd dorm out with only two members and a handful of ghosts to its name. And yet it’s the place that the headmaster deems an acceptable place to host the VDC group during their month ‘training camp’.
♡ It makes it easier knowing that you’re good friends with the majority of the group, having been through plenty before the training camp even started. In some weird way it’s kind of like a month-long sleepover with your friends and classmates, not unlike the times Kalim’s dragged you over to Scarabia for the night in the name of making fond memories. Still, you can’t help but feel cautious around the Pomfiore members you now have living under your roof, and how little you actually know about them.
♡ By this point, the fact that you’ve got no memories prior to ending up in Twisted Wonderland is pretty much common knowledge amongst the people who bother to keep tabs on you. And considering how Pomefiore’s got the likes of Rook, a skilled hunter who has a penchant for people watching anyone who catches his eye, you’ve got no doubts that they’re well aware of your circumstances.
♡That, and Crowley’s a loudmouth when it comes to his generosity about your ‘unfortunate situation’. That headmaster is really starting to test your patience…
♡ While Vil is strict, he’s by no means cruel, and is at least polite when you first allow them all into your home. He thankfully doesn’t pity you like you worried he would - you’ve had enough of the pitying looks some people give you when they think you’re not looking. Your lack of a past isn’t something you want to dwell on, Vil can see that clearly with how thoroughly you throw yourself into the training camp alongside your friends and new acquaintances. Not to mention that you act as a surprisingly good buffer between the members whenever tensions start to arise with the upcoming deadline.
♡ It’s admirable really - a single minded little spudling if he’s ever seen one. You’ve got promise, if you keep up that resilient attitude, so Vil offers you no quarter in getting you just as involved in this little training excursion as the others are, if only to help you flourish with enough memories of this upcoming event to last you for a lifetime.
♡ With that being said your thirst for knowledge isn’t to be underestimated, and once you find out that Vil’s pretty much a celebrity and acting prodigy you’re intrigued. Vil’s walking past the living room after the group’s come back from another day training at the ballroom and freezes once he hears his own voice coming through the door. Sure enough you’re lounging over the couch watching one of the more obscure movie titles Vil’s acted in on the phone Crowley ‘gifted’ you before winter break. There’s a blunt honesty when you praise his work once you notice you’ve got an audience. Sure, it’s praise he’s heard from adoring fans and critics more times than he could ever hope to recall, but it’s not something you’re saying just to try and get in his good books. When you offhandedly mention that he looks a little happier in the roles where he’s not the villain, noting that they suit him and that whatever world you’re from he’d probably be a big hit, you swear that he gets a bit smug, apparently pleased by whatever you’d said. You may not know all the ins and outs of this world yet, but Vil’s at least sure you’ve got taste. Which is why he turns a convenient blind eye at the treats you smuggle up to Grim and your room after he’s sure you swore to Ace and Deuce to follow along with their no-sweet regime.
♡ Rook is observant, and it’s hard for people not to feel like he’s prying a bit too much into their personal lives when they happen to gain the huntsman’s attention. Perhaps it’s because you’ve got a relatively blank slate, or that you’re so focused on forging ahead to whatever comes next that you’ll get involved at a moment’s notice. Whatever the quality it has piqued his interest, and from the moment that the camp starts he’s committing every little detail about you to memory.
♡ You may not see it, but there’s so many details in the actions that you do and your daily routines that tell the story of who you are to whoever is diligent enough to listen. It’s in your mannerisms and the way you engage with everything around you, all easily missed to the untrained eye. It’s beautiful in its own way, and Rook is nothing if not an appreciator of that beauty.
♡ Your homestead at Ramshackle is but another shining example of who you are as well. Having nothing but the clothes on your back and a basic understanding of how to function when you first arrived, it’s clear that you’ve made a concentrated effort to at least make the place liveable for you and Grim; not just as a shelter, but as a home. Because of course this is the only place you can call home, and Rook is sure to treat it with the respect such an important place deserves.
♡ Epel doesn’t really know what to make of you at first. You’re from a different world entirely, for one thing, and not having any kind of past beyond school makes him feel a bit awkward about interacting with you. According to Vil, Epel’s still rather rough around the edges, and when his emotions get the better of him he’s been known to put his foot in it and say something that comes off blunt and snappy. Plus, surely there was only so much the two of you could talk about that wasn’t VDC or school related, right?
♡ He’s proven wrong when that huge batch of apple juice from his nana back home is delivered to Ramshackle’s doorstep. All it takes is him mentioning to Kalim that his hometown is known for its apples, and before he can even elaborate your voice chimes in with a helpful “Oh,the village of Harvest, right?” that has Epel’s attention snapping over to you so quickly you think you’ve done something wrong.
♡How did you even know that? His hometown’s barely on the map to begin with, so it genuinely makes him freeze when you recognize it so quickly. The question bugs him until he’s able to ask you about it later, where he finds out just how much you’ve thrown yourself into learning about this world you’ve ended up in. You’re excited that someone’s finally asking you about stuff that you do know, and you pretty much end up talking poor Epel’s ear off for the rest of the evening, telling him all kinds of facts you’ve read up on regarding his hometown’s history and culture. Hell, you spout off a few facts that even he didn’t know about, and he doesn’t miss the proud grin on your face once you learn that.
♡Surprisingly, you want to hear more from Epel too. About the place he grew up, the people he grew up with - his family especially. You’ve had some time to process your own grief around your potential family and your life back home, and though there’s still a twinge of jealousy that sparks up on the bad days you don’t want it to hinder the people that you care about right now. And so you sit, and you listen, prodding him for as much information as he’s willing to give. He practically has to send a message to his nana there and then thanking her on your behalf for all the juice when you learn that she was the one kind enough to send them all over. It’s the only way to get you off of his back about it, but there’s no denying that it’s actually kind of nice having someone who’s genuinely curious about his upbringing, instead of snooping or looking down on it.
♡Even after VDC you’re surprised to find that Pomefiore’s promptly nestled itself into your life. With everything that took place before and after the group's performance it only made sense that they’ve bonded to their newest potato, just be prepared for what exactly that entails. Expect plenty of gifts in the form of the latest cosmetic brands and accessories to be delivered to Ramshackle (much to Grim’s disappointment because it’s not food.) You’ve even had yourself called all the way over to Pomefiore’s dorm only to come back with entire outfits just because you let slip once that Crowley’s budget for your dorm doesn’t cover enough to justify buying anything more than your uniform.
♡ Those aren’t the only gifts you receive too. Often when you’re hanging out with the first year group Epel’s got one thing or another that his family back home has practically strong-armed him into giving to you. He’s talked about you to his folks a few times thanks to the whole apple incident, and Marja herself has made Epel remind you more than a couple times that you’re always welcome at the village of Harvest when the next school breaks come up. Did that embarrass Epel? Yes. Did it make him panic when you immediately teared up because of how touching it was? Also yes.
♡ Pomefiore’s final gifts are small, but mean just as much. They also confuse the hell out of you because when did they even show up??? They’re specific things - things related to your hobbies like new books, CD’s, Movies of your favorite genre for you to enjoy (in case Crowley ever caves and gets you that TV on sale at Sam’s store that he’s been promising you for weeks now goddammit-). All placed somewhere that you’re sure to find them. These gifts are well thought out and honestly mean a lot once you realize who they’re from. Not to mention that there’s a folder with a beautiful decorated cover amongst these little surprises, a clear label reading ‘Memory book’ in very familiar handwriting. Thank god the mystery is solved once you find out Grim’s being bribed with tuna by a certain bob-cut huntsman to drop all these things off at Ramshackle (Grim was supposed to give them to you in hand, but he always gets too bored to do so before you get back from school.) So long as you come to terms with the fact that you’ve been pseudo-adopted into Pomfiore’s ranks by the end of it, it’s honestly kind of nice.
♡Just maybe don’t tell Vil that you may have accidentally made friends with his biggest rival on the day of the event because you ran into him backstage. Rook is certainly happy about it - Vil not so much.
Ignihyde
♡ Your friendship with the housewarden of Ignihyde can be rather prickly in light of everything that’s happened, especially after the events with S.T.Y.X. Before that your only real contact with the Shroud brothers was through Ortho, during your first run in at the audition waiting room. You didn’t hide your excitement once you learned that Idia had made the vocal synthesizer that Ortho was using for the VDC auditions, marveling about how cool it was and asking question after question about how he did it. Ortho is more than happy to answer each and every question you have and then some - especially once you learned Technomancy was a thing and just about lit up like a lightbulb. In fact Ace and Deuce basically have to strong arm you away from the conversation in the end because you’re gonna end up making them late for the damn audition.
♡ You at least have the chance to call out to Ortho to tell his brother that he sounds awesome and his stuff is cool before the ballroom door shuts behind you. And that’s exactly what he tells Idia as soon as he’s back from the auditions. Idia thinks that you’re just pulling his leg and don’t actually mean any of the nice things that you say, and it takes Ortho insisting on playing it to him on his memory bank multiple times to prove just how genuinely nice and excited you sounded.
♡ Idia doesn’t really expect to hear anything from you after that, but hoo boy is he mistaken because once you’ve gotten in one of the Shroud boys’ good books the other one (reluctantly) follows. Not that he has much of a choice, because not even a couple of days after the auditions Idia’s getting added to a group chat with him, Ortho and you. It’s supposedly because you’d wanted to ask him a few more questions about his tech, and after Ortho had mentioned his brother probably wouldn’t like the face to face grilling, a group chat with the younger Shroud as the middleman was born. Grim sometimes forces his way into the conversation, but that usually involves him demanding you to write down the texts for him or slapping the nearest meme on your phone into the chat completely out of context.
♡Ortho has a lot of fun chatting with you because he shares your passion for learning things, and the two of you become thick as thieves over it before and after he officially becomes a student. He’s basically got the internet at his fingertips at all times, alongside a variety of other tools that basically make the younger Shroud brother a walking hub of information. You, for one, are absolutely living your best life because whatever odd subject has caught your attention, no matter the question you can always ask Ortho and he is more than happy to provide you whatever fun fact you’re looking for within a matter of moments. You get a bit quiet once he mentions the memories he was given during his creation, but that’s to be expected given the circumstances that you’re working with.
♡ At first, getting Idia to even pop up in the chat is like pulling on a gacha - you’ve got a good 2% chance of him actually interacting, though he does check in a lot more than you’d expect. With time however, and more than a little persistence on your part, you’ll find cracks in Idia’s defenses. He finds it easier to talk to people behind the safety of a screen, and it's not like you’re forcing him to interact with you so that at least gets you some brownie points. Granted, expect him to prod juuuuust a little bit if the topic of your memories come up in chat. He’s sure he hasn’t got enough of a bond rank with you yet
♡Things go up in the air when S.T.Y.X breaks into NRC.
♡ It was one thing having all of these people who you’d come to call friends suddenly stolen away, but losing Grim? The one who’s been your rock since you first showed up who’s been a part of every single memory you’ve made? If Rook wasn’t already planning to sneak out to find them you would have tore through their headquarters with your bare hands to get that damn tuna loving weird rock eating fluff ball back. Once you found out what S.T.Y.X actually had their hands in, especially considering the Lethe River system you were pissed. If you didn’t know for a fact that you were from another world entirely, and that the system operated to a very specific set of procedures for rewriting and erasing set memories, you would have thought that it had something to do with your own memory erasure. If that was the case you probably would have throttled the poor older Shroud; but because you know the truth, and the system itself is down for the next few centuries you settle for being absolutely livid about it.
♡ It’s a sore spot, hitting a little too close to home knowing that there’s people out there who have had memories taken away from them or altered to protect S.T.Y.X’s existence. It’s nothing like your own situation, but you can’t help feeling angry for them. And on top of that, seeing all of those phantoms and knowing that they could have been your friends if you hadn’t been able to bring them back from their overblots? You may try to think of every memory being worth it, but you learn that some bad memories keep you up at night for days after you’re all finally home.
♡ Your friendship with the brothers is tentatively built back up after this, but it takes a bit of work. Idia’s convinced that you’re never going to want anything to do with either of them again after all that’s happened. So convinced that he nearly has a heart attack when you reach out into the group chat once you’ve had time to process things and recover.
♡ Gonna be honest, the wonderlink he gets for you and Grim becomes a huge olive branch once you’re settled back at Ramshackle. Your determination to make memories alongside not having a clue how the gaming system works leads to you either calling Idia over the phone or actually wrangling him into coming over to play with you. Whether by accident or purpose most of the games you purchased on the system he gave you are multiplayer and you insist that there’s absolutely no way just the two of you can place and that you need a gaming expert. Of course Idia sees through your poorly veiled attempts to get him to socialize, but you must have pulled some cheat code because you somehow manage to get him over to play with you two. Just be ready to have more than a few memories of losing - he’s a gaming pro for a reason, after all.
Diasomnia
♡ You’ve firmly wormed your way into the Diasomnia circle from the moment that you first encountered Malleus, whether you realize it at first or not.
♡ Mallues may not be the most intimately involved in the school's affairs or gossip, but even he’s heard talk of the prefect from another world with neither magic nor memories to their name. The lack of magical aptitude wasn’t anything to bat an eye at, though it was unfortunate given your current enrollment at one of the top arcane colleges in the world. But to have no recollections of your life prior to enrolling? In a place where no one can recognize you or give you the answers that you’re looking for? Truly, an unfortunate set of circumstances you’ve been dealt.
♡ He did not expect to cross paths with this infamous prefect on Ramshackle’s grounds not long after word of them popped up. The old bones of the place were a comfort to Malleus on many nightly walks; when he finds out that it’s no longer as abandoned as he first thought he’s sour at the knowledge that he’ll have to find another place to pass his time in peace. The last thing that Malleus expects is you being bold enough not only to approach him, but to greet him so casually as you none too subtly try to pry into what he’s doing walking around your dorm grounds.
♡ Perhaps you’ve lost more than just your memories, as there’s not even a shred of trepidation or cautiousness as you so boldly interact with the fae. Not only that but you listen, looking up at him not with the nervousness or even fear that he’s seen in the faces of most of NRC’s students, but with curiosity. You’re a stranger to this world, so you don’t yet know the name Malleus Draconia, nor the face the name is tied to. For once your lack of knowledge works to someone’s benefit, and an unusual bond is formed.
♡ Your friendship with Malleus is an interesting exchange - you provide him company and idle conversation whenever he spirits away to Ramshackle; and he provides you company in turn, as well as a willing ear for you to confide in. Sure, your friends have told you that you can talk to them about your problems, but for some reason you’re able to open up easily to Mal. Maybe it’s because of just how little you know about him, right down to his very name - he’s just as much of a blank slate to you as yourself. So you find yourself sharing your worries about where you came from, or the life you lived before this, or the general distress of not knowing the first thing to do about getting your memory back.
♡ Even after all these months it still weighs heavily on you, Malleus can see it in the tired expression that wears on your face when you recall all the things you’ve done to bring back even a shred of your old identity until your head’s pounding and your eyes ache. He hates seeing you troubling yourself over it, and more than once he’s found himself flickering through old books and tomes that haven’t been touched in centuries back home with the small hope to relieve some of that burden from your mind.
♡ On a happier note, Malleus will quite happily fill you in on subjects that peak your interest. He may have lived a fairly isolated life up until his enrollment here, but even what he does know about NRC and the world outside of it he’ll share with you, if only to see the way your expression lights up in wonder hearing everything he has to share.
♡ This dynamic changes very little, aside from the fact that now that you know his true identity these interactions are no longer purely one sided in the sense that you don’t have to wait around for him to just magically appear like you have been for months. Now he’s the one being surprised by your presence when you come knocking on Diasomnia’s doors looking to hang out. Surprising, but it honestly makes the young Draconia’s day having you march through his dorm’s halls wanting to spend time with him, encouraging him to talk about his day and asking how Roaring Drago is doing as you do so.
♡ It’s an unusual feeling, having someone’s undivided attention simply because they enjoy your company, and that you leave such an impressionable impact on their memory. Your memory is a precious commodity considering your unique circumstances, and Malleus realizes that he wants to be in as many fond memories as you’ll allow him to.
♡ Though he has to admit, Malleus can’t shake the conflict that dwells in his chest whenever the topic of your home world comes up. Perhaps it’s just in your nature to yearn for something you’ve never known, but he wonders if you’re thinking about it because your worried about your ties to this world. He hopes that once you realize the life that you’re building here, and the memories that you’re making with him and your friends will be enough to convince you to stay. But that day is far away, and so he pushes it to the back of his mind in favor of enjoying the time spent with his closest friend, for however long it lasts…
♡Lilia, catches onto the friendship you’ve got with Malleus quickly, because of course there’s no hiding how much happier Malleus has become. You’re an interesting case yourself, being able to tackle most of the problems that Ramshackle has to offer you and come out the other side as unscathed as you can be. That coupled with the increased amount of time you begin spending around Daisomnia and its students is more than enough reason to catch this guy’s attention. He learns about your memory loss early on, especially considering that it’s pretty much the talk of the school once the information drops. He won’t prod you about it like some of the younger students might, however; he’s been on this earth long enough to recognize a sore subject when he sees one.
♡ And so he sets about learning things about you in the present rather than the past. Your likes, dislikes, favorite foods, how easily shocked you get when he tries one of his infamous surprise appearances. Lilia’s very easygoing so it’s rather easy to get along with him, not to mention being a dad he’s got the comforting parental presence down pat when he wants to use it. He’s an easy person to let your guard down around, and admit things you usually wouldn’t. Maybe that’s why you end up talking to him about the what-if’s of your previous life.
♡ It’s a moment of weakness, you let one of your idle thoughts about your family back home slip, asking aloud if there’s anyone there to actually miss you. Lilia doesn’t miss the somber chuckle as you admit that you’re a little jealous - Sebek has his parents, and Silver has Lilia. You want a family like that. You try to lighten the mood by jokingly asking why someone can’t whisk you away into their family already, thinking about that time Kalim very nearly got you adopted into his family once he learned of your memory loss. You don’t expect an answer, much less for the moment to suddenly be broken as the fae pats your head ruffling your hair. No doubt he’s made your hair a mess by the action, but you’re more focused on the grin Lilia gives you when he mentions always wanting a big family - he’s sure Silver wouldn’t mind having a new sibling!
♡Unrelated but Lilia loves sharing old stories with you. Some of the things he shares you vaguely recall reading about in some history books at the library; some of those books were so old you have to wrack your brain trying to do the mental gymnastics to figure out exactly how old he is. He is thoroughly entertained seeing the mild existential crisis inducing cogs turning in your head as he continues his tales, waiting for you to inevitably jump into the story to prod him for more information. Just wait until Malleus shows you that one textbook that’s got Lilia’s portrait in; Lilia doesn’t hear the end of it when you come flying into his room mid game with the textbook in hand demanding to know how the hell he looks the same in a portrait taken centuries ago and waiting like a stubborn child next to his chair as he finishes the raid he’s working through with Gloomurai.
♡ Maybe if you weren’t so desperate for answers, you would have noticed that his friend’s gamer tag looks kinda familiar…
♡ Offered to cook you your favorite dish once. You thought it was a nice gesture, until Sebek and Silver made a joint effort to wrangle you away from the scene, basically pleading with Lilia to please not step foot into the kitchen. That’s probably one thing you’re better off not learning about…
♡ When Sebek first runs into you at NRC, he almost fools himself into thinking that you’re playing up the amnesia for some unforeseen gain. He’s not the first student to have had their doubts, and honestly you can’t entirely blame him for just how weird ‘complete memory loss aside from remembering basic functions and muscle memory’ sounds even without the whole context of this being a world governed by magic. However, what makes Sebek different is that he approaches the subject about as delicately as a falling brick. You’re only half listening as he’s demanding answers for things you don’t even know yourself, already fed up with the whole rigmarole of people throwing questions about your amnesia at you.
♡There’s only so much you can hear about memories this, hiding that before you snap back, hissing out that you’d give just about anything for it to be a lie rather than spending every night guessing where you’ve come from and who you’ve left behind while he’s got the luxury of knowing the kind of life he’s lived before this damn school. That shuts him up faster than you’ve ever seen, jaw snapping closed so hard you swear you hear his teeth click together as you turn heel and generate as much distance between the two of you as possible.
♡ He feels guilty afterwards; Sebek may be a bit of a livewire but even he knows when he’s taken things a bit too far, and it’s clear to see his prying has left you feeling more than a little bitter towards him. Thankfully team dad Lilia is right there to offer advice on smoothing things over in a way that doesn’t result in things looping back around to the original argument. It takes a little while to come to terms with the fact that Sebek genuinely didn’t mean any malice in his prodding; with him on a determined path to become a knight worthy to protect Malleus he wants to know that he can trust you before allowing any kind of potential friendship to form. The way that he went about it however was blunt and came off way ruder than intended; that’s something you can both agree on when he bellows out an apology in the middle of the damn hallway when you cross paths the next day.
♡ He comes to respect how diligently you work despite your initial setbacks coming to Twisted Wonderland with such limited knowledge. What he once thought was an attempt to pry into things for malicious gain he finds is actually just a desire to understand the world around you and the people who inhabit it. Sebek has relayed his respect to you before, in his own way, and thankfully you’ve spent enough time around him to know that he genuinely means every word of it.
♡ Will actively spur on your thirst for knowledge. The first time he lent you a book because he thought the material would give you something to think about, he fully expected it to be weeks before you’d finished. Cut to the next night and you’re unceremoniously dropping that same book onto his bedroom desk, sitting down next to him as you exclaim how cool the book was and your favorite highlights.
♡ Of course Sebek quizzes you about it, but when it’s clear you’ve actually taken an interest in the book he’s given you expect to be walking home that night with a new pile of them to pour over to your heart's content. He’s got his own passion for books, and the pair of you bond over this shared activity a lot more than people realize. Lilia almost can’t believe his eyes how quickly Sebek’s hot-blooded attitude simmers down into something more tempered whenever you come over to gush about the latest book he’s recommended to you.
♡You made a joke once about being adopted by Sebek’s parents while he was on call back home, if only to get a laugh out of the smoldering glare he shot you from the other side of the couch. That laugh however breaks out into a full on cackle hearing his parents actually agreeing with you as you shuffle across the couch and pluck the phone from Sebek’s hands while he’s frozen in shock. His mom is thrilled; Sebek, decidedly, is not, as a pillow from the couch goes sailing across the room as you flee from the scene, disappearing into Daisomnia’s halls with Sebek’s phone to tell your second adopted family all about how he’s been making them proud at NRC.
♡ Silver doesn’t miss the signs that you’ve essentially been pseudo-adopted by his father and the other Diasomnia members, though he doesn’t know that you haven’t clocked onto it yet. Considering how Malleus considers you a close confidant, Lilia is basically treating you like another one of his children, and Sebek seems to actually enjoy having you around it’s easy to think that you’ve noticed just how much everyone cares for you. And of course you care for them in return; more than once you’ve stopped by during Silver and Sebek’s training with something from the cafeteria, or you’ve brought the oddest little things you’ve found at Sam’s shop to show off how cool they are (all of which he’s pretty sure he’s seen scattered around Malleus’ room whenever you bring a new item to the dorm.)
♡ You’re quickly becoming such an integral part of Diasomnia’s life that it’s getting harder to imagine a time without you here, and these guys have become all you’ve ever known in the same way. So it’s shocking to Silver when one of the other students mentions that you’ve basically been adopted into the dorm - you’re there so much you’re practically family anyway - and he sees your reaction. You freeze, jaw slack as you process what you’ve just heard. You hardly even notice Grim swiping the sandwich Silver brought you for lunch in your shock, instead glancing up at the Diasomnia boy as if to confirm what you just heard
♡ When he gives you a confused look in return and asks why you’re so shocked since they’re right he practically watches you go through several stages of emotions, right before you’re grabbing him by the lapel of his uniform and guide him to follow you as you bolt over to Crowley’s office. The poor headmaster doesn’t hear the end of your demanding for Grim and yourself to be made honorary Diasomnia members after this. If they’re adopting you, then by the seven you’re getting it in writing from the bird man himself.
♡ Silver mentions once that he wouldn’t mind if you really were adopted into the family. It’s right as he’s on the cusp of another one of his naps, leaning up against your shoulder when he lets slip that he’d be proud to have a sibling like you without thinking anything of it - because of course it’s true, it's just a thought he hasn’t voiced out loud before. Cut to Lilia coming in a minute or two later to check in only to find his son conked out on your shoulder while you’re a blubbering mess over the fact that someone genuinely wants you as part of their family. Lilia feels only marginally bad when he reaffirms the sentiment, him casually throwing out that he already sees you as Silver’s little sibling resulting in you crying harder.

I'm gonna be anonymous when I say this because I have seen this done by many people... I strongly dislike the "Error and Nightmare gang are the good guys and trying to make the universe stable while The star sanses are the idiots who will not see reason" .. Like... I .. really? I'm not sure if the reason why I don't like it is because I have seen it so many times or what but it annoys me dearly. The members of the star sanses are reasonable and they are just often made as one sided ignorant people- I mean okay Lets go on the different pov, on the bad sanse side: You see them risk their lives every day getting themselves hurt over and over again all to defend different worlds for the sake of bringing what they believe to be peace and you label them as the fools who just want all the glory- really??? people who get hurt over and over again just do it for that stupid reasons??? I mean come on! Seeing as generally it is shown that the bad sanses want peace as well why not be trying to reach an agreement??? you fight over and over again and you couldn't even be bothered to try and reach their heads to finally listen to what you are saying like what "in a way" dream has done with nightmare countless times but they cant do the same? Just have them fight knowing that the other side are in the wrong and you choose to do nothing but break them?? Like is this your pride or something?? Why are they labelled as good guys yet they allow the other side to fight to their deaths with a good motive in mind but they only lack the full picture?? How am i suppose to "root for you" if this is what you do????? We get inside information of how peaceful they are and how they care for each other deeply, but if you care so much for each other why would you allow the other side to keep fighting your loved ones when they are missing the big picture, you know the big picture yet you say... NOTHING. NADA. ZILCH!! you cannot tell me that they don't listen to you when you barely speak up about the true issue or find a way to show them- you maybe say it once or twice in the whole story and then any other time you go straight to fighting or just avoid them.. COWARDS!! ALL OF THEM!! And in these stories the star sanses always state their reasons for their interference yet you cannot tell them why you are doing this?? All that comes out your mouth are insults and sneers, who would want to believe you when that is all the comes out of your MOUTHS... Excuse me... Just pissed sorry for the long rant.. Oh my gosh AND DONT GET ME STARTED ON DREAM AND NIGHTMARE, DUDE YOU GOT THE BALLS TO BLAME YOUR KID BROTHER FOR BEING A KID AND NOT RECOGNISING YOUR TRAUMA EVEN NOW AS YOU ARE MUCH MORE MATURE AND HAVE THE ABILITY TO REALIZE WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU BOTH AS CHILDREN????? Is he the one holding onto the past or is it you??? Night is always depicted as the dadmare, boss, the caring lover, the brother yet he doesn't even have the decency to face the fact he abandoned his brother in stone for 500 years or so, when he comes out you automatically hate him for something he had no idea or control of and choose to ignore his pleads, when your brother wants to reach you, you break him over and over again not wanting him in your life ever again when as i said before he was your "KID BROTHER" and you want to tell me your the good one for just wanting to cut him off with no answers or anything? You gotta be pulling my leg bro... and it would be a different story if the dreamtale background is different but no! it isnt! nothing is said to make it seem dream was an abuser of sorts, they were both hurt and yet you blame dream for all of it you have a whole ass support system yet that is your mindset??? I cant.... I really cant Uh sorry again for this long ass rant though =w=
anon our souls are holding hands resonating as one
my two cents on this (that isn't something i said. a million times before already) is that it's usually because people refuse to see the star sanses in the same light they do the bad sanses the people who actively dislike the star sanses and what they do usually do so because they can't relate to them, from what i've noticed
the bad sanses are easier to root for because of the fact that they are made of struggle and the dirty, gritty parts of morality and life so to say it's easier to think of good things in the middle of so much bad, because it's in our nature as people to look for hope or root for the good, no matter how little it is having the ability to look for goodness and love in so much evil is a form of love in of itself everybody struggles and life sucks and sometimes the world is evil and sometimes we do bad things, but that's the thing, the fact that we as people find something good in the middle of it all (like finding familial love bloom in the bad sanses, as an example) is very inspiring. at least to me!!! that's how i see it!!!! that's how i like to think people see it as well because that's how i see and enjoy them together so i can totally see why people find more relatability and love for the bad sanses. i really do get it and i agree!! like a lot!!!!! i love them too
but that exact reason is also why it really sucks that people just don't see the star sanses in the same light?
i wanna reemphasize my point in relatability: it's difficult for most people to relate to the star sanses because inherently they are the heroes, the protagonists, the main characters, because nobody are any of those things i feel like people often put them on a pedestal because of their central tropes and characteristics. they have it all already, they don't need more praise, right?
i think the biggest problem people have with the star sanses, like your whole ramble very clearly shows, is that they don't humanize them i feel like a lot of people assume that just because they are good and choose to be good and are praised for being good, they are unreachable people don't think they struggle. that it sucks being that.
it's often why i like writing the star sanses with so much struggle and so much mental illness lol, because being good is fucking HARD and they're as imperfect as everybody else. dream is anxious, ink is brash, blue is a workaholic, stuff like that
there's a lot to say but it's just....the bad sanses and the star sanses are two sides of the same coin. the bad sanses is finding good in the middle of, basically, evil and misdeed the star sanses is finding struggle in the middle of trying to do good
people often portray both of them black and white morals and it's why it gets frustrating and flat and badly written.
idk, just like how i find inspiration in the bad sanses of finding hope and love in the middle of darkness, i really admire the implications of the star sanses when you actually decide to humanize them. because if you make the star sanses struggle throughout their praise, glory, and righteousness, it's...really admirable that they still choose to do good.
like you said, the star sanses risk their lives often and fight, offering treaties and agreements, just to make things right that's so??? admirable????? like for the amount of times the bad sanses fucking fight them, i genuinely would've just given up completely, but they just....don't??? and that's so admirable and sweet? it makes them so deserving of their titles as guardians.
idk!!! this is a massive ramble too, i don't even know where i was going with it but like, yeah, i think i wanted to talk mostly about why people preferred the bad sanses over the star sanses and how it makes me sad i get you anon. with my whole body and my whole soul. i understand what you mean and i see you
#Anonymous#idk like. if these fuckers were real and protecting my multiverse id spare some sympathy for them#i would hate for people to call them stupid for not trying or not being the best bc theyre literally the only ones keeping me alive#< (hypothetical situation btw. thought id say that again in case it wasnt clear)#ive already talked enough about how i dont like people making the star sanses evil (unless its written well)#and pretend that everything the bad sanses do is good and that theyre sweet wittol babie beans#like what if i like them evil. they would kick my ass and that's what i prefer tbh#anyway yeah............different flavor ramble from me today i guess. im just sad the star sanses arent humanized ever

walking through the usual path you always walk home, you wouldn't think anything would happen.
the headphones covering your ears blasted through, humming softly to yourself - though you couldn't hear yourself doing so - which means you also didn't hear the footsteps following you. of course other students went that way, but this was different. the person following you kept decreasing the distance between you and him, steps becoming faster to catch up with you.
before you knew it, the person stepped in front of you, causing your eyes to widen, harshly halting your steps to prevent yourself from bumping into the person.
"hello, gorgeous."
it was a guy you could recognize from one of your classes, though you never even spoke a single word to him - well maybe that one time he asked you if he could borrow a pencil from you, which you kindly let him - but that was it. so why was he suddenly talking to you?
slowly lifting one side of the headphones from your ears, you looked at him in confusion, your lips slightly parting.
he smiled awkwardly, scratching the back of his neck as you stared at him.
"i, uh, i've been wanting to talk to you. I've been feeling hesitant because you just look so pretty, it made me really shy. but i finally got the courage to."
his smile made you uncomfortable, it wasn't a warm and kind smile. it looked like those creepy smiles that you have seen in shows, the type that gave you goosebumps, the smile that you know has wrong intentions behind it.
"i would like to get to know you, maybe we have similar interests. and then maybe once we get to know each other, it can turn into something more."
that gave you goosebumps. you were still quiet, not knowing how to go about it. you definitely never experienced this in your life.
"so what do you think-"
"i'm not interested, sorry." you blurted out, hating the interaction. gosh, you just want to go home and curl up in your bed, your comfy bed.
you lowered your head, a way to say sorry once again, not looking at the guy as you didn't want to deal with him any longer. as you were about to walk again, his hand grabbed your wrist unexpectedly, making you stumble back to him.
"come on, are you serious? you haven't even get to know me yet and you're already saying you're not interested-"
"let go of her."
a new but very familiar voice interrupted the scene - more like saved you - making you look up. you didn’t even notice the black with red stripes motorcycle near you two.
choi soobin’s.
“did you not hear hear her? she told you she’s not interested. so i think you should fuck off.” his voice was stern and confident. not only that, but he is a very tall guy, around 6’1 or even taller, much taller than the weird dude in front of you. that made the guy let go of your wrist, though he scoffed at soobin.
“why are you butting in people’s business? who do you think you are?”
soobin smirked, tilting his head to the side. he wasn’t even intimidated even a little bit, though he was a little amused and finds it funny by how the guy was acting tough in front of him. he knew himself that he could knock the guy down by just a second.
“well, first of all. i’m her boyfriend.”
that statement enough made the guy’s face drop, looking at the two of you. his face was full of confusion and embarrassment.
“y-you two?”
soobin stepped closer to you, causing the guy to step back, stumbling a bit. “yes. she is mine. so if i find you bothering her again like a fucking fly, or even lay a single finger on her, you won’t like what i will do next time i see you.”
gulping, the guy kept stepping back before he hurriedly walked away, making soobin roll his eyes. his hands were clenched into a fists unknowingly, eyes dark and full of rage. though the moment your hand found his, his siren eyes turned soft and back to those loving doe eyes of his.
you heard him sigh before facing you, his hand caressing your cheek. “are you hurt?”
“damn it. i should’ve just have you wait for me on campus like usual. this wouldn’t have happened. i didn’t know my class would be this long today.” he had a frown on his face, eyes remaining on you.
soobin usually finishes his class before yours, and then he would either drop you off home or go somewhere with you after. but earlier he texted you that his class is taking longer than usual, so you told him that you could just start walking home as it wasn’t that far from campus, and he could visit you there once he finishes. but now he regrets letting you.
“don’t worry binnie, i’m okay.” you reassured the boy, wrapping your arms loosely around his waist, tiptoeing before you pressed a soft kiss on his lips. that caused him to smile softly. “plus, you took care of him for me. did you see his face?” you joked, making him chuckle.
“i’ll punch that face of his next time.”
“soobin!”
“what? i don’t like him touching or looking at you like that.” he pink glossy lips pouted, holding you as close as he could, slightly lifting you off your feet for a second. “you’re mine.”
his possessiveness made your heart tingle, “i’m all yours, binnie. all yours.”
he slowly grinned before pressing a kiss on your forehead, making your eyes flutter.
“now come on, we have a date to go to. i’m really excited to see the puppies at the dog cafe.”
you giggled, nodding as you pat his head softly. “okay, okay. come on then.” taking his hand once again, you let him guide you to his motorcycle before letting go of your hand to take your helmet. you fully took off your headphones, placing them around your neck. he then held the helmet with one hand, while the other fixes your hair, pinning it behind your ear before he slowly and carefully placed it over your head.
even though you’ve been dating for a few months now, the way he takes care of you will always give butterflies to your stomach.
“ready, princess?” his eyes twinkled, admiring you lovingly.
“always ready, bunny.”

❦Cussing, Death(tell me if I missed anything, if not read at your own risk??)❦
❦I still have a bit of the writers block❦ not proofread or edited
"She always hated that number because it sounded like death in Chinese" Wrd count: 2.1k next>> m.list to series
Picture day was soon, she loves picture day. Ever since I've known her—which is like for 10 years— she always was super excited for picture day, I even ended up spending $20 on this hair clip I thought she would like, which she did. She ended up wearing it for her picture. But what she wasn't excited about was the grade reports, each year a report of our grades gets sent to our parents via letter, and well... her's aren't that well.
"Min, thank you for this! It's so cute!" She practically squealed as we walked down the hallway towards the open doors of the cafeteria.
"Your welcome, it was no big d-" "Oh gosh you must've spend so much money on this too!" She interrupted me grabbing my arm and tossing me around like a rag doll, "I'm so sorry you spend so much money on me!" I looked around and saw other looking before putting my hand over her mouth.
"Calm down." I looked her in the eye and let go after she nodded.
"I will cherish this for the rest of my life."
When we got to the crowded lunch room, we managed to get in line, "Gosh these people are like animals..."
She laughed, "Don't act like you didn't just say you'll punch a guy if he cut in front of you."
"Those were on different circumstances."
She rolled her eyes facing forward, "Yeah, alright buddy."
After a few moments of silence it was broken by me "Are you ready?" I smirked ready for her reaction.
"For what? Seeing my beautiful face grace your eyes when years books are out?"
"No for the grade reports."
And it's like all the color from her face drained, like her soul flew out her body, she let out a groan, "No, my parents are going to kill me. My grades are so bad...gosh."
⏤͟͟͞͞✧✦
We ended up staying a bit longer after at school, she lost her hair clip and made this whole big deal out of it, she cried to me after her drawing period was over how it just disappeared out of her hair. Did we find it.... Yes but it was broken, the pink charm on the hair clip was broken off. She was sad about that but probably sad about the call she got from her dad screaming at her over the phone about her grades, a few "Your useless." "Your stupid." And a few more things were thrown in there by her father, she didn't really have the best relationship with him, well more of he didn't have a good relationship with her, she always tries her best and her father just shuts her down. I've witnessed them fighting once, him calling her useless, a mistake, that he wished he had a son not a useless daughter. But no matter what she's always happy.
She was now walking beside me holding the clip in her hands as tears streams down her face, "It's all my fault..."
I wrapped my arm around her shoulder and looked down at her, "No it's not, don't put your self down like that."
She shook her head no, "Everything messing up is my fault, I-I can't do anything right."
I stopped walking grabbing her shoulder to make her stop, she turned to look at me, her cheeks and nose were red from the cold, she didn't bother to put on a scarf before leaving her house, she usually forgets.
"Min, it's my fault I lost it, a-and it's my fault it's broke..." She sniffled looking down.
"No it's not, everyone loses things sometimes, and breaks some things, there is no need to tear your self down because the universe had other plans today for you."
She looked up at me, her eyes were still filled with her tears that hadn't fallen yet. I reached out and wipes her face of the streaks of tears that were left behind.
"I'll buy you another one..." I whispered with a smile. She smiled up at me, her eyes wide and happy yet, they still seemed so sad.
"It's fine you don't have to."
"I want to."
⏤͟͟͞͞✧✦
A week later she seemed different, I was saving up money to buy her the hair clip so I hadn't bought it for her yet, I thought she was sad about that but it wasn't.
"So... Your not sad about the hair clip?"
"I'm not sad at all! It's just, today is a slow day for me."
Slow?
"Ah, okay."
She nodded her head, bringing the spoon full of soup up to her lips before sipping it.
"After school do you wanna-"
"I'm busy, sorry Min." She looked over at me and gave me an apologetic pout.
"Why, are you spending time with your family?"
She shrugged, "Yeah, I am."
"Well I'm proud of you for that," I put my hand on her shoulder, "You need to get closer to them before it's to late."
It's almost like she froze, I felt her shoulders tense up, "Are you okay?" I asked worried, a line forming between my brows from my frown.
"What do you mean by 'before it's to late'?"
"You know what I mean, before we leave off to college... Your going to college right?"
Then I felt her shoulders untense, weird...
"Uh, I don't like saying things I can't promise." She looked at me and gave me a tight lip smile.
⏤͟͟͞͞✧✦
A week later, after some hard work at school and my job I managed to get paid, just enough to buy the hair clip, I bought the exact same one, a pink heart with a kitty paw charm.
I put it in a small wrapped box and sat it on my bedside table for Friday.
When the morning sun creeped into my room, I sat up feeling something heavy on my stomach, I opened my eyes to see one of the many cats, "Soonie, good morning." I rubbed Soonie's head before moving causing Soonie to move and curl into a ball on my bed.
Today was a normal day. Like always, get ready for school, text y/n a good morning text and a picture of the cats, eat breakfast, and leave. But it wasn't different at home, but at school, when I first realized I didn't get a morning text back, I would understand if her phone had died, or if she forgot it, because yet again she is forgetful, but when I got to home room, she wasn't there.
"Maybe she's late." I mumbled to myself, sitting at our seat, alone, the chair empty, cold..."She would text me if she wasn't going to come or late, right?"
She never came, for two whole weeks she didn't come back, until one now abnormal the tv was on, breaking news. I never really bothered with the news unless the sky looked gloomy and cloudy, but my world has been gloomy and cloudy for the past weeks cause y/n never showed up.
My heart dropped to my stomach when I heard what the news reporter had said, I was already at the door sliding on my last shoe when—"17 year old high school student found dead this morning, floating in the river, officials say by how the body looks it's must've been here for a long time."—I broke my neck to look at the tv and it was none other than y/n, her recent school photo was shown on the screen before it switched to a video of them bagging the body.
I started at the screen in shock, there is no way, that can't be, it shouldn't be.
I felt my legs start to give out, my friend of 10 year, died...was it Suicide? Murder? That can't be, this has to be fake, I pulled out my phone and called her, which it went straight to voice mail, her happy voice telling me to leave a message cause she couldn't pick up her phone, I called it again, and again. There's no way. I cried, I let out a shout, scaring the cats, "This can't be happening!" I sobbed, my face a mess, its like apart of me just disappeared. I shook, realizing that she is dead, she won't come back, ever...
"Fuck! No, don't leave me... Please...."
My vision was blurred by my endless tears, I picked up my phone to call her, to try and call her, one last time, to at least hear her voice.
"I'm sorry I couldn't make it to the phone but you can def leave me a message! Or call again??"
I clenched my phone, holding it up to toss it but stopping, pulling up my legs and crying.
⏤͟͟͞͞✧✦
It's like the whole world was affected from this news, more of my world was. Everything was static, radio silent. When they found her body it rained for 4 days straight, ironic isn't it, she always hated the number because it sounded like death in Chinese.
I still felt numb, my parents would bring me with them to y/n's house to pay our respects to her family, her mother who seemed deeply wounded by their only child now dead, but her father... That bastard had the same hard look, like he didn't care, I knew that her and her fathers relationship wasn't always tip top, but your daughter just died not even 2 days ago, and you couldn't bother to at least show a bit a humanity, a bit sorry for your wife and yourself.
Her mother invited me back to her room, her mom cleaned her room but kept it the, I saw on her desk was the broken hair clip, I pulled out the one I had bought and left it next to the broken one, when I saw her wall full of pictures of her, me, our friends. I couldn't hold it in, I broke down, "I can't believe she's gone."
Her mom hugged me, "I know, I know it hurts so much." She cried along with me.
Her room that usually is warm and welcoming is cold.
⏤͟͟͞͞✧✦
2 days later they located her shoes with a note in them.
"I'm sorry I didn't stay longer in this life, the world will keep spinning without me, at least that's what someone told me. The police will probably overlook this and say it's just another troubled teen, and I understand if they do. I'm sorry mom, I know I said after my walk I'll be home to clean my messy room, I'm sorry for making you work so hard for me just to end up like a failure. Minho, my best friend of 10 years, I'm sorry I left you, thank you for the hair clip, it will be with me for the rest of my life, didn't I say that? In my afterlife I'll be wearing it, I'll visit you every day! To my other friends I'm sorry we never got to pull that all nighter while watching a movie, in my next life I'll do it. I'm sorry to Minho's parents for making you worry about me, you were like my second family. And I'm sorry Dad that you think I'm just a waste of space, now there is extra space you can now replace with things you loved. I'm sorry to everyone."
I scrolled through the online article reading her goodbye note, my phone wet because of my tears, but I couldn't just over look it... Her father, it had to be her dads fault, calling her a waste of space, that's not love...
Now and forever my world will be gloomy, I lost my best friend, my first love...
⏤͟͟͞͞✧✦
Another morning I wake alone, I get ready to go to school, I texted her a good morning, and ate breakfast, the news still covers her death, a reminded that when I get to school I'll be alone through the day.
I stood up from the chair when I heard a knock at the door, no one ever knocks at the door unless its her, but she's not here anymore.
I passed it as my head playing tricks on me, because it's been doing that for the past month, I hear her call my name, I smell her, I see glimpses of her, I was going crazy.
Then the knocking got louder.
I sighed and walked to the door opening it, "Hello-"
"Gosh Min hurry up were going to be late!"
I looked at her, pure shock the color draining from my face, she... Y/n, she was standing there wearing the hair clip.
"U-uh..."
"Take a picture it would last longer..." she frowned.
"Y-you..."
She then started laughing, "Gosh, it looks like you've seen a ghost?"
"You are the ghost..."

Unrefined
Pairing: P5 Protag x GN!Reader (Ren Amamiya is used as his name)
Summary: Ren is happy to see you again after being separated from you for many years since you two were children. However, he knows he's not exactly the best choice for a boyfriend. In order to look cool, he tries to approach you as Joker.
Of course, reality isn't always that easy and he learns that looking cool isn't the most important thing when it comes to love and friendships.
Rating: G
A/n: Ahhhh I'm loving P5R and I'm loving Ren very much!
Ren was many things growing up. He was rather lackadaisical, unsure of himself, and oftentimes, just plain messy. He was caring and sweet, but his airheadedness had, on multiple occasions, led to some awkward encounters with other people. It was mostly through growing up together that you had understood what he really meant, but not everyone was willing to make the time.
You two had been inseparable as kids, always doing everything with one another. You had seen each other at your most awkward and weirdest- like when you got braces or when he broke his arm trying to do cool moves on the jungle gym. You dressed up in matching costumes and outfits for all sorts of events. He even took you to the middle school dance when no one else bothered with you two. You shared your dreams, worst nightmares, struggles- everything.
Yet, that connection had to be strained when your parents were relocated to Tokyo for work.
His home just wasn’t the same without you. So you two tried to keep contact with each other every day. Texting, calling, sending emails or doing video calls together was such a normal part of his routine.
He told you about how your old home was doing, anything new that was going (there was rarely anything new, though) so a majority of it was spent discussing Tokyo.
“You’d never believe all the lights! It’s crazy bright over here.”
“Yeah, I don’t think I can. Sounds like a hassle, though. Aren’t all those people and lights annoying?”
You only laughed at his response- of course shy and withdrawn Ren would never love a city like this.
Years passed and you two did your best to continue talking, but slowly every day became every other day, to maybe once a week, to sporadically whenever. There was just a lot to deal with, and life at Shujin Academy was anything but easy. He just had to settle for brief text messages and possible calls and gifts for things like birthdays and holidays.
He was stressed after his hearing, so he broke his personal rule of trying to leave you some space to send a message.
Hey it’s kinda urgent do you have time to call?
“Hey, Ren, what’s u-,” you gasped. You looked at him like he was an alien from outer space, and he figured it must be because of how awful he looked right now.
“Something wrong? You just stopped talking,” he commented.
“Yeah, I’m fine. Sorry. What’s up? You said it was urgent. Are you doing okay?” You sent a barrage of questions his way and Ren slid a hand through his hair.
“Want the good news or bad news first?” He responded, ignoring your questions.
“Um…” you rose an eyebrow at what he could have possibly done to warrant this question. “Bad first?”
“I’m on probation.”
“WHAT?” You screamed, yet Ren didn’t flinch. “What do you mean probation? What the hell did you do?”
“Some asshole framed me for assault when I was protecting a woman,” he casually answered, as if it was just a normal occurrence for him.
“Seriously? And you still got in trouble?”
“Yeah. It sucks, honestly,” he sighed.
“Jeez I’m…” You looked crestfallen at his explanation and he felt bad he made you feel so glum. “I’m sorry.”
“Not your fault. Besides, there’s some good news.”
“What’s the good news? Please don’t give me another heart attack.”
“I’m moving to Tokyo. Some guy my parents are friends with is taking me in while I’m on probation. And I’m going to that Sunshine Academy you go to.”
“It’s Shujin, for one thing,” you corrected him. “But you’re really coming to Tokyo? Oh my gosh, it’s gonna be like the old times again! I have so many places to show you and take you! You’re gonna love it, I promise.”
“Eh, I dunno. I’m just gonna try and avoid those places. Sorry, I know you probably wanted it to be super fun and all, but I don’t wanna go to jail. It’s a miracle they even left me with only probation. I’m even donning a disguise.”
“A disguise? What do you mean?”
He pulled up a pair of black, thick-framed glasses.
You pinched the bridge of your nose and shook your head.
“That’s not a disguise. Come on, Ren, you can’t be serious.”
“I am. Look,” he put the glasses on and you stared at him deeply. You looked deep in thought and he wondered what was crossing your mind. “See? No one would punch a guy with glasses.”
“You’re hopeless,” you chuckled at his antics.
“But you still love me, right?” He whined, pouting like a child.
“Of course,” you said, the words slipping right out of you. A warm smile crept on your lips as you gazed at him. “So… when you come to Tokyo, I’ll make sure you have the best probation ever. You can even visit my house. It’s got a nice view of the city and we have a great diner nearby.”
He smiled for what felt like the first time in a while since this miserable incident.
“Thanks, (Y/n), I know I can always count on you.”
A few more pleasantries were exchanged and you two logged off, leaving him staring alone at his own reflection from his computer. He looked down at himself and frowned.
Great, he was going to see his best friend (and crush) for the first time in years, and it’s because he was accused of committing a crime. In some ways, though, he felt safe with you and could put his probation aside.
He hoped you would continue to be his friend in Tokyo. It was probably going to be a long year there, and he wasn’t looking forward to all the judgmental people. So much for being a guy you could depend on. Just like always, you were the one who would have to help him and accept him. He wished he was not this lame dude who couldn’t even handle a few rumors, but this isolation was killing him.
----
Ren always knew he wasn’t the most attractive guy ever. Or the smartest. Or the most courageous or confident. Barely had any talents or future aspirations beyond “just make it to the weekend”. He was pretty below-average, all things considered. And he was honest about that, like he was with pretty much everything else. He didn’t like beating around the bush or lying to others.
Sadly, his big mouth got him into this probation (he still didn’t regret it) but man, it was exhausting to try and bite his tongue back at every opportunity.
He couldn’t fight back or argue when the people made audacious claims about him. Couldn’t say a thing when people purposefully riled him up to get him to act out. Ren couldn’t even properly ask out the best friend he had loved since they were kids. Nor could he defend them whenever someone tried to spread rumors about them because of their association with him.
But, that was Ren.
Joker, however, was a completely different story. Joker was cool, suave, elegant- everything the clumsy second-year wasn’t. He could flirt with monsters and defeat evil while looking completely badass doing it.
But it’s not like he could be Joker all the time, not with the Phantom Thieves working in the shadows and him still being under the watchful eye of almost everyone in society. He had to keep it quiet.
Joker was Ren’s safe space to act out and be the man he wished to be. No one knew who he was, no one held any expectations for him- they just knew he was there to get the job done. And he did it, flawlessly, every time.
Which is why it was frustrating Ren would get so tongue-tied the minute he wished to talk to you.
The years were kind to you- very kind to you, actually- and he marveled at how you grew to be more confident and proud than when you were younger. You had a steady head on your shoulders, leading you to be the secretary of the student council and great in your club activities.
He wished he could spill everything to you, everything about the Phantom Thieves, the Metaverse, personas- it would be so much easier if you knew. But he knew that if he bothered, you would simply laugh and say he probably was pounding too many energy drinks. None of it was believable, even to his own self.
He hated lying to you, he despised it so much, but you were too understanding to call him out on his bullshit. You knew he was lying through his teeth about being ‘busy’, and he knew you were lying when you would smile and say you were ‘fine’ when he would miss out on another outing.
He didn’t know how to make it up to you or truly admit he was the Phantom Thief that had grown so popular.
He had brought this question up to his team members, and frankly, all of them were sending mixed signals.
“Do not reveal your identity to them! They could be a traitor and rat us all out! Or worse, they could try and use you!” Makoto would say.
“You should totally reveal it! And you love them a lot, right? Maybe you can make it up to them by taking them to an all-you-can-eat buffet with extra dessert!” Ann squealed.
“No, make it meat! They gotta love that, right?” Ryuji would add.
“I would say a buffet is not classy enough. You wish to showcase your heart’s true intentions to them, no? You should whisk them away to a beautiful resort and craft a gorgeous jewel that they can wear to remind them of you and-”
“Yusuke… you do recognize Ren is a poor high school kid, right?” Futaba raised an eyebrow. “I don’t think he even has a dollar to his name, right now.”
“I have twenty dollars to my name, thank you very much,” Ren corrected. “Wait- no- that’s not the point.”
And then he was back to square one. Sure, he read Reckless Casanova and The Art of Charm, and it did help as Joker, but he was helpless when it came to you.
There’s no way you’d like whimpering, pathetic Ren, especially when compared to the city boys of Tokyo, who were way flashier, energetic, and could treat you right. Unlike him, who couldn’t even say a word when people smeared your name.
That’s when a thought came to mind- he should confess to you as Joker! Joker was everything Ren was not, and you’d surely fall for him, right? All he’d have to do is play it cool as Joker, and you’d be swooning for him in no time!
He imagined the scenario in his head.
You were there, sitting in your dark room with your balcony window open. He would jump through the buildings and smoothly glide to your balcony. You would be breathless at the sight of this handsome phantom thief, who looked so similar to someone you knew, but unlike him, this man was cooler. Better. Smarter. He was the entire package.
You would be crying over that lame good-for-nothing boy who gave you nothing but trouble, and Joker would wipe your tears away.
Perhaps he’d say a really nice line in French to really hammer in the ‘phantom thief’ act. You’d embrace him and he’d confess your undying love to him, and you would accept it in a heartbeat.
Yeah, this plan had zero chance of failing.
----
Ren, donning his disguise and mask, descended upon your rooftop. He made sure to be as quiet as possible, hoping to fulfill the dream movie scenario he had planned up. It was foolproof, he’d smugly thought.
As he was preparing to jump down to your balcony, he noticed something shuffling near him.
Was it someone watching him? He turned back to see a group of rats in the darkness, watching him.
“Shoo! Go away!” He swatted at them. Some went scrambling and he thought he was in the clear. That was until he heard their chittering and squeaking. The group had ran back to him and were hissing at him, and he brought out his dagger. “Shit-!”
The rats lunged at him and he quickly jumped down on your balcony to avoid getting bitten by one of them. He crashed onto the floor and groaned in pain, cursing the rats and the concrete of the balcony.
He heard some shuffling and the balcony door swung open, revealing a very angry you with your cellphone at your side.
“Wonder what-” you screamed as you locked eyes with him, and slammed the door shut. “Who the hell are you?! Get the hell out of here or I’m calling the police!”
You typed something on your phone and Ren was panicking. Shit, he couldn’t mess up or get caught by the police. That would ruin his life and everyone else in the Phantom Thieves’s life.
“W-wait! S’il vous plait!” He screeched one of the few phrases of French he knew. He slapped himself internally at the fact he even used French when you were trying to call the cops.
Great job, brainiac.
You seemed taken aback by him until you put your phone down and raised a knowing eyebrow at him.
“Ren? What are you doing?” You asked.
Now he was in deep shit. He quickly stood up and posed by the balcony, as if he was just casually strolling by.
“I don’t know who-” Crap, I can’t use my voice. He cleared his throat and tried to make it deeper. “Uh, I mean, I don’t know who this ‘Ren’ person is.”
You looked unimpressed, and he knew his cover was blown.
“Ren, what’s with the get up and trying to break into my house?”
“I assure you, (Y/n), I was not trying to break into your house!” He answered in his fake, deep voice.
You strode over to him, and he leaned back into the balcony ledge, trying to avoid touching you.
Too close! Too fast! Shit! Abort! Abort! Abort mission! We’ll get them next time!
“So, mysterious stranger who is not Ren,” you sarcastically began, “what are you doing here?”
You stepped closer and he leaned closer against the edge. He peered down and saw how far below the sidewalk was and gulped.
“I-I am- gah!” He felt his body slip over the ledge after he tried to lean against it. He yelped and quickly brought out his grappling hook and shot it to your balcony, before slinging himself back up.
He sat on the ledge, crossing his leg over the other and running a hand through his hair as if he wasn’t about to fall to his death just seconds before.
“I couldn’t help but um, couldn’t help but be taken aback with your beauty, mon amour!” He dramatically stated, winking at you and handing you a (crumpled) rose he had picked out earlier for this very moment.
Unlike in the dream sequence he conjured up, you were not breathless or swooning- instead, you were laughing.
“Oh my gosh, Ren, what the hell is all this?” You said in between bouts of laughter.
Normally, he loved your laugh, but in this situation, he felt his pride crumble to dust.
“I… I, uh…” Not even Joker could save him. He could practically hear Arsene in the back of his head howling in laughter at the way he messed up.
Ren sighed and took off the mask.
“Yeah, okay, you figured it out, it’s me,” he said, defeated and exhausted. You wiped the tears out of your eyes and examined him.
“Wait, no way! You’re part of the Phantom Thieves-” you loudly exclaimed, and Ren shushed you quickly.
“You can’t reveal it out loud! I’m not even supposed to be here!”
“Sorry,” you complied, whispering to him. “You’re part of the Phantom Thieves?”
He nodded.
“Yes, you’re looking at the leader of them.”
“No way…” You stared, gobsmacked.
“Listen, I get it, it’s hard to believe and you may think I’m crazy but-”
“Huh? This explains everything!” You grinned. “I just… I just thought you were avoiding me and didn’t wanna see me again. You avoided me for so long and always hung out with the others, I assumed you got tired of me! But really, you were a part of the Ph-”
“Shhhh! Not so loud!” He whisper-shouted.
You fanned yourself and he noticed your eyes were becoming wet with tears. Your face was turning red and you were straining yourself to not cry.
“Crap, I didn’t mean to make you cry,” he apologized. “This wasn’t how I wanted this to go…”
“Well, you idiot, of course you make me cry. We were best friends and this whole time I thought you hated me. Why didn’t you just tell me sooner? Why didn’t you trust me? Did you think I would have told on you? And now you’re coming here randomly at night and pretending you’re not even you! Don’t you know how that looks to me?”
“I know, I know I…” he shamefully looked at the ground. “I know. I messed up. I messed up really bad but that’s why I came. I didn’t know who to trust, and I didn’t want you to get hurt because of me. And I see that I was the fool for not believing in you to begin with. You were always too good for me, (Y/n). So I wanted to be upfront with you and give you this.”
Ren extended his hand to show the broken rose again as he rubbed the back of his neck.
“I’m not perfect. I’m not as handsome, or as rich, or as cool as the other guys and I am a huge coward. I run at every opportunity. But I wanted to have you see me as… you know… someone better than me. Someone who could treat you right, defend you, and not have you always try to care for them. I know I’ve been an asshole, and I wanted to fix it. I wanted to just be someone you could rely on for a moment. Because you mean the world to me. Always have.”
You gasped and he looked at you to see your reaction. A few tears had fallen down your cheek and you covered your mouth in shock.
“Sorry, I know you’re probably upset so I’ll leave-” he began, putting a leg over the ledge to jump down when you grabbed him.
“D-don’t walk away, idiot! You didn’t even let me respond!” You shouted tearfully. He settled back onto the balcony and you threw your arms around him. “You’re really dense. You’re not a bother to me and I don’t want anyone but you. I don’t want this Joker guy, or those other people in our school. I just want you, Ren. Did you really think I would continue hoping for you to see me more if I didn’t care for you? Did you really think I would wait around for just about anybody?”
Now he felt his face heat up.
“Wait, you mean it? You like me too?” His gray eyes sparkled under the moonlight and his smile was wide. He must have looked so stupid, but he didn’t care at this moment. He was just happy you didn’t hate him and actually liked him!
“Yes, but if you wanna make it up to me, you have to promise something.” You pushed yourself off of him for a brief moment and had a serious look on your face.
“Anything.”
“No more lying to me like that. Please don’t hide things from me.”
“I promise.”
“Good. Don’t underestimate the both of us together. I rely on you just as much as you rely on me, silly. You don’t have to be anything other than you. I like how dorky and lame you are sometimes.”
Ren let out an offended gasp.
“I’m not dorky!” You smirked and pulled him down by the collar. He felt his heart race a mile a minute and he was curious what you were going to do next.
“Shut up and kiss me already, Ren,” you laughed, and he felt himself melt at the sound of your voice.
“Of course, my treasure,” he grinned as he tried to go through every tip those romantic books wrote in his head.
He pressed his lips against yours gently, almost unsure if he should even go through with it. You kissed him back and he felt himself slowly let go of his insecurities and enjoy your presence like this.
The need for air arose so he (unfortunately) separated himself from you. You laughed quietly as you stared into his eyes, and he wanted to memorize every detail about you.
“You kiss a bit too well, Ren, don’t tell me you practiced with someone else?” You teased.
“N-no I just… read a lot of books.” You snorted at his response and pressed a kiss to his nose.
“Gosh, you’re the best. Don’t tell me you also learned your terrible French from those books too?”
“Maybe…”
Sure he wasn’t perfect, but in this moment. There was nobody he’d rather be than himself in all his imperfect glory.
