These two guys and this gal were the last standing today for today’s #bruteforcemile raising awareness for fallen police officers. Many registered but were scared of the heat, and rightfully so. Proud of them sticking to it and barreling through this grueling training session. To my surprise, they were all ready to keep on going for a 2 mike ruck after being punished with the workout. A great beatdown in preparation for the GoRuck Tough Challenge in 2 weeks. This is what happens when I’m left on my own for too long! I won a free @goruck and as nervous as this makes me, I signed up for, what I was told is one of the hardest locations. I guess I’ll find out if that’s true...the hard way! Now to begin my training, but first I have to find an affordable rucksack/ruck pack that can handle weight plates for training and possibly the event. I will eventually get a GoRuck pack because I’ve used one and they are awesome, but I cannot justify the expense for one right now...especially right before taxes are due! Crushed it. PATHFINDER Ruck Training Marathon Ruck Challenge! 26.2 miles rucked with a 30 pound steel plate plus water and gear. Strong, fast start with James C. Life is good up in the mountain today, so thankful for temperatures above zero 🙌 Those weeks of negative 10-20 were brutal.
