A segunda teoria envolvendo Shaw está relacionada a sua paixão icônica e um tanto estranha pelo sua arma, o qual ele à batizou pelo nome "Lorraine". Além de cuidar muito bem do seu rifle, Shaw até conversa com o mesmo, oferecendo-lhe um cobertor para não passar frio e uma cama confortável e decorada com o seu nome, isso no decorrer dos filmes... Muitos acreditam que esse comportamento seja pelo fato de Shaw gostar de personificar seus objetos pessoais ou esteja mal da cabeça, é aí que entra a segunda teoria :

LORRAINE LEVA O NOME DE SUA ESPOSA ??

📌 Lorraine era possivelmente a esposa de Shaw que infelizmente foi morta pôr algum animal selvagem, o que fez com que ele odiasse todos os animais, e se tornasse um caçador e nomeando seu rifle em homenagem a esposa, também não é descartado a teoria de que o rifle poderia ter pertencido a própria Lorraine.

Um animal que supostamente atacou Lorraine foi o pai ou a mãe do Boog, o que talvez explica o motivo de Shaw odiá-lo, e a vontade de não só tentar caçá-lo pôr troféu, mas também pôr vingança.

Algumas pessoas até especularan que tanto Beth quanto o xerife Gordy presenciaram o dia em que a esposa de Shaw foi morta, mas Beth não podia ter impedido pois ainda não tinha experiência de um guarda florestal, mesmo assim Shaw continuou à culpando pelo ocorrido, quase querendo processá-la mas ele não tinha dinheiro para um advogado.. É uma especulação interessante mas também um pouco desconexa, visto que no decorrer do filme, Shaw se mostra um tanto zombeteiro com Beth, pois se a moça realmente tivesse presenciado o ocorrido, Shaw no mínimo não olharia na cara dela ou a trataria de uma forma como se estivesse profundamente com ódio.

📌 Essa é uma teoria um pouco triste envolvendo Shaw, imagino que ele ficaria bastante abalado com a perda, isolando-se dentro da floresta, parando de se cuidar não se importando com a sua aparência e passou a odiar os animais com todas as forças e resolveu caçar todos os animais que encontrasse na sua frente, incluindo o suposto urso que tirou a vida de sua esposa, se tornando um dos mais sinistros caçadores da região...

Durante muitos atrás, Shaw tinha uma vida social bastante pacata e feliz. Ele era um cara jovem e bonito, o que certamente chamava atenção de muitas mulheres, tinha um emprego estável, e era um cara mais aventureiro. Shaw tinha quase tudo para ser perfeito mas ele ainda não tinha uma companheira ideal que ele possa amar e construir uma família... O tempo passou até que um certo dia Shaw finalmente conheceu uma linda mulher chamada Lorraine, ela era doce, gentil e carinhosa.. Isso despertou uma grande admiração e paixão por parte de Shaw, ambos começaram uma amizade que logo se transformou em amor, até o dia em que finalmente eles se casaram, ambos tinham gosto pela música rock e formaram uma banda solo. Era um dia alegre na floresta, Shaw e Lorraine resolveram fazer um passeio romântico para aproveitar o dia juntos e a beleza que a natureza mostrava, tudo parecia estar perfeito até que o casal foi atacado por um animal selvagem, Shaw fez de tudo para proteger sua esposa mas Lorraine foi atacada e infelizmente acabou não resistindo...

Shaw e Lorraine eram um casal de caçadores que adoravam se aventurar pelas florestas, Lorraine era uma caçadora tão boa na pontaria quanto seu companheiro, até os mais distantes caçadores especulavam sobre Lorraine ser uma das caçadoras mais destemidas de toda região, ela era uma mulher bonita, aventureira e corajosa, e ao lado de Shaw, formavam um casal perfeito e inseparável que se amavam muito, morando em sua confortável cabana na floresta. O tempo passou, até que um certo dia o casal resolve começar mais um dia de aventura, Lorraine estava tão empolgada quanto Shaw durante a temporada de caça, tudo parecia estar bem até que de repente o casal foi surpreendido por um animal selvagem, mesmo estando machucado Shaw alarmou para que sua esposa fugisse embora, mas Lorraine não queria abandoná-lo ainda mais naquela condição, foi nesse momento que ela tentou enfrentar o animal mas infelizmente foi gravemente ferida e acabou não resistindo. Tudo que restou nas mãos de Shaw foi a lembrança, e o seu rifle que um dia pertenceu ao grande amor de sua vida.

SPOILERS for Locke and Key season 3 episode 8 (final episode)

Ok, I'm done. Wow, feels weird, honestly. Can't believe it's actually over...

So, first up, Gordie and Sam. I knew it, I freaking knew it. Doesn't mean I wanted it to happen though. Gordie dying, actually giving his last breaths to make sure Kinsey, Tyler and Ellie would make it out alive... ouch. Even worse, he tried to stop Gideon from breaking free. He tried, knowing that he was gonna die, to create a literal mental block strong enough to withhold Gideon. He didn't know the echo's strength so he failed, tragically. I know he was really only important for one episode but I hoped he'd make it. And as for Sam... as mentioned in previous posts, I cared a shit ton for that guy and his involvement. He definitely deserved better that that. Although I know that it was meant as payment and "debt forgiveness". Still hate it.

Now, Gideon. Wow I hate that guy. Cheers to the actor though, I don't know his name, but the way he delivered, man, he made me angry. Real impressive acting. And super happy this dude is gone!

Rufus, Ellie, Jamie and Josh, you know I love you guys, you're great, please always stay the way you are. Love how things ended for them, eventhough I'm a little sad Josh is never gonna know the truth and Jamie will forget eventually.

Duncan and Brian deserve happiness more than anything. I love them.

Gald to know The Savinis managed to finish the film and that it was really such a big success! Good for them. I could've watched the Q&A for hours, no problems. Really surprised Scot showed up but yay! (Shave though, please. He looks so... mature. Old.) Cool line with the Good, Better and Excellent thing. And I'm happy Kinsey might join him soon <3 I would have liked to see Jordan again though, just for old times sake, yknow?

I'm glad Tyler has found his peace, or at least some kind of it. I'm still not a huge fan of the whole Carly-thing, but a road trip sounds great and if Tyler really likes Montana so much, that's amazing! I know he'll miss keyhouse and I think he's gonna come back a lot of times, as often as possible. Even without any event, just because he wants to.

I know Nina is gonna do fine. She has Josh and her Kids and Ellie. She'll be happy. Bode too. He found a best friend in Jamie and is working on being on good terms with Josh (which, BTW, amazing! Love how the made that little peace offering. I think these twos will have a great relationship and will become very close friends).

Now as for what actually happened... I do like that the keys are gone now. And I like how they chose to resolve everything. Throwing the keys in meaning closing the portals was brilliant and brings everything to a nice end. I loved the montage for it, showing bits and pieces of what the keys did and what the characters went through with them (not everything, not a lot or even the main points, just moments were it fit, nothing to sad or emotional, just... epic, in a very simple way). It was well done, that's all I have to say.

And for maybe the most important scene I can just say yes. Yes, wow, thank you. I honestly had a few tears forming when they saw Rendell again. The conversation with him brought me closer to crying than anything this season has and the hug at the end let the tears spill. It fit perfectly but was also so sad to just suddenly see them in the hallway again, still hugging, just without Rendell. It was good to have that last conversation, I think.

For now, that's all I have. It's literally 45 min till midnight and I want to sleep, but watching it was worth it. Feels like some weird sense of closure at the moment.
