The therapist and I have been working on pinning down how I'm going to actually use therapy and came to an agreement that probably the issue I was struggling with was emotional regulation, and I said "Okay, so the problem is if you google something like 'how to feel stuff less' or 'stop feeling stuff faster' you just get a lot of nonsense and clickbait."

And she laughed and said she'd have to try that search but she'd send me some links to vetted articles that would be more helpful. And I'm reading the articles today ahead of therapy tomorrow (I only got them yesterday) and uh.

Well, the good news is that this isn't the first time I've read them. The unfortunate news is that they're by and large what I dismissed as clickbait.

If I had the money, I think I'd just go back to school for some kind of degree in the biochemistry of ADHD, because there must be something beyond "have you tried feeling things less" and "when you're upset, imagine a nice forest".

Then again if I had that kind of money it wouldn't actually be an issue anyway, so I suppose here we are. Should have married rich.

I've been meaning to post these for AGES since I'm still quite proud of a lot of these, but here's a bunch of drawings based on various RD fics! In order we have one based on @hear-that-music-in-the-air's fic In Dreams, a couple others based on their fic Hedgehog's Dilema, a couple based on a fic of my own that'll probably never see the light of day but I still like the art lol (the gist was that Ian reaches a breaking point after the stress of constantly working on the defibrillator gets to him), and lastly for up here, a little doodle based on @lolatulips' fic A Rainbow Connection!

Of course we ain't finished yet, I just needed to banish these last ones to below the cut because warning for glitchy gif and eyestrain, but here's a gif based again on In Dreams (and the two MUCH higher quality stills) and another little doodle from my fic that I'll probably never finish 😅

a list of wips i started in trying to write something for mermay:

1) Modern day; Human Soap loves his siren boyfriend Ghost (that’s it)

[i had some vague ideas but couldn’t connect them together into a coherent plot and moved on]

1.5) A spin off of that same AU where Ghost has very long hair

[once again, that was it. that was the entire plot and it was still like a few thousand words? i think?]

2) Pirate AU; Human Soap is captain of a ship and enlists Ghost’s help not knowing he’s a siren

[i wrote less than 500 words before realizing it was going to turn into a monster and moved on]

3) A little bit I wrote based off of this art

[but then i remembered that you’re supposed to ask about that sort of thing and abandoned halfway through and moved on]

4) Shark mer Soap and Ghost who hyper fixates on sharks

[same with the pirate au, mf gained sentience just to run away from me; i wrote so much before i realized i have another fic i am supposed to be working on]

Which all led me back to trying to figure out the next ch of the ghoap god type au

Has anyone anyone kept track of which future DC writers voted to kill or save Jason Todd back in 1988?

I think Judd Winick claimed that he voted to kill off Robin, then recanted and said he was lying to be edgy, and he actually voted to save him. (Or do I have that backwards?)

Then I remember that at least two other DC creatives have also claimed to have voted. I want to say it was Geoff Johns and Tony Daniel, but it could be completely different artists/writers. I can't find any sources through DuckDuckGo or Google.
