Some small things about Flowering!Dreams

The reason for NightShift was a flower is because after the attack the two humans had committed to Nim, she was too weak to even find them a body. So behind the tree, she made them merge with the plant.

A flower and vines, their roots tangled together as Nim returned to the tree.

Made an Ivymare oneshot for @superbfirnacho Birthday (go wish them happy birthday they deserve it).

I mixed some of my own headcanons in here and there with Nightmare, I’m pretty sure I got Ivy right but I’m not sure :S

If it were not for the familiarity of the all encompassing smell of books calming her down she might of froze. If it were not for the familiarity of the bitter and stale coffee she had drank moments earlier to stop herself from even having a speck of exhaustion she might of stopped. If it were not for the familiarity of the icy floor grounding her as she slowly took the glowing electric blue arrows that seemed to lower the negativities viscosity in whatever place they were dug she might of started to shake dangerously. If it were not for the familiarity of the quietness that made any sound be heard almost twice as louder, especially the deep breathes that Nightmare only did when he was in extreme pain, she might of tuned out everything going on. If it were not for the familiarity of the high and neat shelves that stood like walls for the small reading space she might not of been able to help heal Nightmare.

With the last positive arrow being taken carefully taken out his spine by Ivy, Nightmare’s breathing went back to normal – along with his tentacles loosing their sharpness and his spine straightening out. “And you’re sure you’ll be alright?” Ivy questioned, despite seeing similar injuries on him prior it was never this extent. “As I have previously stated, the arrows stop me from healing for a while. When they are out I can heal it myself.” Nightmare stated as he turned to face Ivy. “Report to my office tomorrow morning.” He then began to head out

Ivy walked in front of Nightmare – stopping his leave. “I still need to make sure I took them out properly.” She reasoned.

“They are. Move.”

“I will when you let me confirm that.”

“You can do it another time.” Nightmare replied curtly, walking around her. Ivy, yet again, stopped him and asserted “If I do it later you will be in more pain. I am doing it now.”

As she began to step to the side, two lethally fast tentacles flew either side of her – the others moving in shambolic patterns, “Stop trying to help me!” Nightmare snapped darkly, lowering down to meet Ivy’s eyes. “If you really wish to show so much of your kindness, your care, find a different way. I have had enough of your insistence on this matter. ”And so she leant in and kissed him.

In an instant, Nightmare’s bravado completely left him. His eye was wide, face covered in a vibrant turquoise blush and his tentacles froze completely. “Fine, I’ll check tomorrow then.” Ivy uttered then walked away – leaving Nightmare to process what just happened.
