Hi! I was wondering how long it took you to start getting good notes on your work… I’ve been writing a couple of months now and I’m so proud of my stuff and I’m just struggling to get it noticed. Some gets 100-400 notes but over a certain period. I just started something else and it’s gotten 70 notes in the past 12 hrs. I think it’s gonna be really beautiful too. I think I’ve been a little hard on myself lately, just overwhelmed with a lot of things but this is an outlet where I wanted to build a community and people love the work I do. (Please don’t think I just wanna be “famous” 😭)

I know I’m just working myself up but I was wondering your timeline.

hii babe! first of all, ive been on this app since like what 2018??? but then i started posting and writing actively a month ago and i had like only 10 followers because i never posted anything on this acc before. my notes were always around 100-200 ish at first, and then it grew to like 400 ish and now the fact that the two lines fic is nearly at 2k notes was nooottt on my list. i think u should post when the others are active, i usually post around 10am ish (us time) which is 10 pm in my country, and i think to gain a lot of notes, the mostttt important thing is using tags (i mean like a bunchhh offff taaaggss) for example, i always use the #rafe cameron, #rafe cameron imagine, #rafe cameron x reader, etc. basically just use a lot of tags that match with your content. secondly, i also think it's pretty hard to be recognized here, at first i also struggled to gain notes and mutuals but by posting regularly, it also helped me to get out of the 'flop' zone (iykwim) OH ALSO INTERACT WITH OTHER PPL'S POST like comment on their posts, like, or just follow them because i always follow those kind of account back. fyi, i also made an account for someone else like in 2022 and it flopped so bad, so i stopped posting. but then i created this account and it's much better than before, so i think you just have to keep posting regularly anon, just dont stop trying :)) ahhh alsoo don't be hard on yourselffff just remind yourself that you're doing this all for funn 💓🙌 i hope this helps! rajbow (raj x bowie): o b v!! can't have one of these asks without these two, tbvh, I adore them and from what I've heard abt them, I love how Fresh handled them--the fact that the only canon gay ship is also on the list of the healthiest ships is wild and I freaking love it!! they're so adorable together too--and let me say I noticed the connection between Bowie getting crowns and Raj's name meaning 'king' immediately and it made me love them more! I can't wait to see more of them next season, and I hope Fresh doesn't fuck around with them like they've done with other ships 🤞

emwayne (emma x wayne): while I understand where the zemma shippers are coming from, I'm gonna have to say that I can see them as a pairing, but mostly I see zee and emma as friends than lovers. moving onto wayne and emma, I've seen a couple of rlly cute fanart abt them that roped me into rooting for them; also, I saw this tumblr post that talked abt wayne helping emma see that her and chase aren't right for each other bc of the break between bowie and emma's friendship; I thought it'd be cute that emma realizes what an actual relationship is supposed to be like based on the way wayne treats her and the two grow closer as he helps her come into herself more. overall, really cute pairing!!

nichaxel (nichelle x axel): MY LESBIAN BABES!!! ever since I saw that one scene where they interacted, I was HOOKED, I'm SO SO on board with these two getting together, ugh, I can just imagine how badass and amazing they'd be!! axel teaching nichelle to fight so she can make her comeback next season??? nichelle helping axel tune more into her emotions and her heart??? sign me tf up!! they'd be unstoppable, legit, I want this so bad! seriously, I hope Fresh does smth with them next season and if they don't get them together, I hope they at least let them be friends, goddammit!

damien x priya (idk their shipname 😭): from the screenshots I've seen of the two, I think they're cute together!! wonder if next season will involve them more 🤔 it's funny too bc it's the guy who doesn't have a clue abt total drama with the girl who knows everything abt it; like imagine priya getting damien to watch the prev seasons and damien returning next season like a fricking icon with his newfound knowledge. honestly I'm on the fence abt these two; I like them as a pairing, but also I think they're great as good friends too! (also I've seen a lot of ppl talking abt millie x priya; I personally don't have an opinion abt that, I haven't gotten that far to have one. So, to me, they're just good friends!) (on that note, for the scary girl x damien shippers, I personally see them as friends, I just can't see scary girl with anyone sorry 😅)

chazee (chase x zee): okay, hear me out on this one. before the season came out, when all I knew abt everyone were those random pics of episodes, I remember wishing chase to be gay (or bi or smth that isn't straight or he realizes he's not straight while in the show) bc it'd break that stereotype which I thought would be cool--and I shipped him with zee like offhandedly, nothing extreme, just lowkey. like I thought their shipname was cute (chazee?? hello?? literally adorable?? and I've found out that ppl are calling them cheese now too and fdhdjf that just makes it cuter). then I started watching the season and got to know chase's whole personality, I was like 'ehhhh' and this pairing just...got shunted to the far corners of my mind. THEN I came across this freaking adorable fic of these two (it's this one!) that somehow converted me back to shipping these two??? then I started thinking up random scenarios involving the two and yeah imma say I adore these two. idk I feel like zee would be good for chase, like their way of viewing the world would be pretty helpful for someone like chase?? (plus the whole sexuality crisis can still exist on chase's end bc imo zee is the kinda person to already be aware of a lot of things abt him (their gender, their sexuality, etc) but not put much emphasis on it, y'feel?), and maybe chase's way of expressing himself would balance out zee's??? who knows?? idk I feel like this ship has a lot of potential and it's worth exploring-

mkulia (mk x julia): they'd be the queens of meet-uglies lmaoo but no rlly, they'd be rlly great together, I feel! they give off alenoah vibes too, which I think is pretty neat! idk much abt them rn bc I'm only a fourth in the season, but I will def let you know my thoughts once I do!

as for book recs!! i have tragically had the same problem lately re fantasy books and honestly mostly just books in general BUT i don’t know if you’ve read any ve schwab ive really loved what books of hers ive read. vicious was my favorite, but the monsters of verity duology better fits the “feels like a fantasy book you read when you’re twelve” vibe!

for non-fantasy recs if youre feeling poetry i reallyy liked margaret atwood’s morning in the burned house. also just finished hitchhiker’s guide to the galaxy which was v fun! got many laughs out of me, i did not however know before starting it that it’s a series so now idk how to proceed bc i only have the first book agdjfk

OH ALSO fantasy shoutout to strange the dreamer duology 🫶🏻🫶🏻 lovely writing style and world, fascinating antagonist, i was not a big fan of the romance but otherwise big rec on that. definitely not for everyone tho some ppl find the pacing too slow, i remember when i first read it i mentioned that in my review too that it took a bit for me to really get into although i personally wasn’t bored in the meantime like others, i was just chilling enjoying what it had to tell me abt everything

1. 28 Reasons - Seulgi, Favorite track - Dead Man Runnin’ I don’t even need to explain, she slayed, she served, she conquered, and she left :)

2. Young Luv Dot.com - Stayc, Favorite Track - Same Same ofc my girlies are here v good and well produced ep and the video was beautiful !! this and poppy were honestly my favs and i still listen on the reg

3. newjeans - Newjeans, Favorite track - Attention Truly only stanning on a music level because they are absolutely babies to me but I really liked the album, simple and clean tracks that are just catchy but I genuinely hope they stay safe and are able to continue schooling in some capacity.

4. The Reve Festival 2022 Feel My Rhythm, Favorite Track - Bambeleo MASTERPIECE would not call it their magnum opus in any regard but I enjoyed it so thoroughly and the mv made me wish i was back in college so i could show this to my art history prof so thats amazing on its own

5. Heartburn - Sunmi, I loved both tracks and I loved the concept! I like the subtle country vibes and its easy listening; and it gave us Bass player!Sunmi so im pleased :)

6. Horn - Apink, Favorite Track - Red Carpet or Single Rider Honestly a dark horse this year, it was very good and while I usually enjoy brighter songs, I liked Dilemma was v catchy!!!

7. [Apocalypse - Save Us] - Dreamcatcher, Favorite Track - Starlight Though this title track wasn’t their strongest, I loved the showcasing of everyones solos, particularly Gahyeon and Jiu which stayed in my most replayed all year long!!

8. Undo - Heize, Favorite Track - Thief, Ft Minnie So I enjoyed the title and the collabs the most which is par for the course for Heize with me, but I enjoyed the slightly retro, 2000s feel she did with this one!!

9. the collective soul and unconscious: chapter 1 - billlie, favorite track - overlap (1/1) stunning showstopping amazing wonderful truly i liked billlie before but this album put them on the radar for me (and a lot of others) fav hype up title that energy wise was on par with Hi High for me

10. Antifragile - Le Sserafim, favorite track - Impurities I love to dance i love a track that makes me dance, same with the above but it put them on the map for me like huh yunjin is that girl 😤

London; First night reflections. Feels SO good to be in London. Airbnb host Nic is so lovely and interesting to talk to. Just v cool. She suggested swimming in Heath ladies pond - I knew I should’ve brought my bathing suit. Perhaps I can make something work. Might see Taylor tomorrow for tea. And her play later this week. Have plans to see Lucia Wednesday. Msged Alana as well. Today was a tired walk to the theatre. Felt a bit out of sorts but endured. The elation of crossing the bridge, seeing London open up like that. SO VAST. So historic. Iconic. Nothing I feel with regards to a city in Vancouver; filled the gap of something I was missing. Just feels so good to be back in Europe. Excited to see what the rest will bring. Extreme Meatpunks forever is so SO good omg. It's a VN/mech brawler where u be gay and fight fascists!!! Trans and nonbiney ppl are out here being badass af. The game has cws/tws built into the game ( which i love sm ) Also there's a ttrpg on Kickstarter RIGHT NOW!! 

Another game with nonbinary characters is an rpg called Ikenfell! It was one of my favorite games to play last year and the music and just everything? Honestly so good I'm def replaying it this year. It also has tons of good accessibility features!

ok but i wanna geek abt ikenfell just a smidge more  U DON'T UNDERSTAND 3 OF THE PLAYABLE CHARACTERS ARE NONBINARY <333 The strongest playable character also uses ze/zir pronouns and I think that's pretty epic

Ok so like literally every game I've played by @analgesicprod I've loved 100% And Anodyne 2? Everyone should go play it and I will keep saying it until everyone does. And yes there's a trans character in it <3 Drem my beloved <3  Go check it out!!

Another game studio I love is @pillowfightio !!! They worked on Later Alligator, We Know the Devil, and Heaven Will Be Mine. I highly recc all of them but esp. Later Alligator cuz like just look at Joanie. They're so cool.  

In the game Everhood gender doesn't exist <3 Literally multiple characters are referred to with they/them pronouns and the gameplay is very enjoyable 

 CW LOTS of flashing lights and I feel like there should maybe be more cws but I'm not sure what else to add :l I guess a warning is that Everhood gets into more serious stuff and I'll be honest when the game first came out I had to put it down for several days b/c I just wasn't ready for a lot of that stuff, but I honestly liked the game a lot!

I was debating on adding this bc while I love this game there's some issues. So Gnosia is like werewolf ( or among us if you will ) but more narrative focused with time loops etc. There's two wonderful nonbinary characters and you can be nonbinary HOWEVER ( minor gnosia spoilers. skip past if you want to avoid it) . . . For some reason finding out the AGAB of one of the characters is mandatory and I fucking hate that. It's so unnecessary esp for the world building that's been done. Also tws for the game: sexual abuse / assault, gore ( in only one scene ) (spoilers end) but yeah I still added it because the characters are so neat and strong for the type of game it is and without that bit I wouldn’t feel so :/ abt recommending it. It’s pretty fun ngl

Wandersong!!! The main character is nonbiney and I love them <33 It's such a lovely little musical adventure with such a nice narrative and!! Some of the devs just released Chicory ( which I haven't gotten to play yet ;v; ) but check that out too!!

Bravery Network Online is super fun!! It's a turn based rpg that feels really good and has two characters that use they/them pronouns ( Fel and Reed ) the character designs are sooo good and the game is currently in early access!

I never thought I'd see a claymation point and click musical featuring a nonbinary detective but Dominique Pamplemousse is just that Need I say more?

A personal fav I think about every now and then is Dad fighter 30XX!! Like who doesn't wanna beat up their friend's shitty dad in the parking lot of a dennys?? Also the win music is my FAV

Well first of all English is not my first language so my writing may contain some mistakes 😅

* Well i really wanted to ask u abt the way taekookers claim that the harry styles concert was a valid confirmation that tkk are the real couple in bts and saying "How can anyone watch Harry styles concert and have any doubts about who the couple is"

And them keep on talking abt the way tkk were vibing and dancing together ( like the way V wrapped his arm around jk and jk held V's hand as they were singing "falling" ) and whatever they have done during that concert prove that tkk are real boyfriends ... However i think that was a normal thing that happens between any close friends . i mean isn't normal to be close to ur friends in concerts or party and so on.. Dancing together, holding their hands and wrapping your arm around them? bc honestly the way these people are making it as a big deal and consider it as a couple thing makes me wonder if they ever have friends or even know what friendship means cuz these category of ppl don't know probably how to distinguish btwn friendship behavior and couple behavior.

So storm i really would like to know what do u think of that.. And thank you💜

I really almost didn't answer this because I really don't see the point. Because it WAS a moment. There is nothing here to "debunk." It is adorable and sweet and beautiful. It's absolutely fair and expected for tkkrs and EVERYONE to gush over how amazing and cute that moment was

I don't see this as a romantic moment. Not to give into stereotypes here, but it gives me drunk girls at the bar leaning and swaying into each other, clutching onto each other as they belt out one of their favorite songs at the top of their lungs. They just look a lot better doing it then your typical tipsy drunk girl 😂 and Tae, jk and hobi were all VERY tipsy at that concert. Jimin very much looked like their "DD" sheparding all his little ducklings out the door at the end of the concert lmfao and Falling also isn't a romantic love song, its quite a sad heartbreaking song about regret and loss. It's a song that the members, particularly JK and JM, have made passing mentions of enjoying, but it's not a love song. Lol they looked like they were having so much fun. But to me, it didn't look romantic at all. Im so glad they the guys DID have such a good time at that concert!!

And if that moment is the standard for what qualifies as romance, well then the OT7 Poly truthers were clearly the ones who were correct here. Dancing and hand holding is the standard.... lol then...

The dancing, the holding hands as the other person's arms is around them. It's not exclusive and to me, the vibes aren't any different from that moment to the others. In fact, the vibes given off are MORE friendly than some of these other gifs I included. Lol but none of these other moments I included here either give off romance vibes. They are all just wonderfully beautiful and fun moments between the members that deserve to be appreciated as the amazing moments that they are. My personal opinions of course. 💜
