Since I was sick after my vacation, I decided to finish up the "Oasis" house I was making for my IRL partner.

I should probably mention he plays a Lalafell Paladin who is sworn to protect the Sultana. So there's portraits of her in places of importance where his character would spend the most time. In actuality he just crafts in his house but I tried to keep it "lore accurate" to his character anyway.

I believe he's keeping it locked for now, but I still wanted to show off all my hard work! I built it on my alt to get the sizing correct, although the tall ceilings are "friendly" to tall races, they won't fit through doors, under the patio archway, in the bath, and they can't sit or doze in the bed.

Bonus of my alt testing it out, you can see the full extent of the "bath" here, which I'm proud of squeezing in.

#ffxiv screenshoht #ffxiv housing #eorzea photos #ff14 housing #medium house #lalafell house #oasis house #the entire thing was designed around the item “Throne of the Foremost”#because I realized it's the perfect oasis decor #All the beautiful decorative turquoise arch designs in the walls #yep that's the Throne of the Foremost #don't sleep on that item #Also the three planters on the bottom floor of the bedroom are functional #that was one of the stipulations #because our FC gardens constantly #so I had to make use of the 3 allotted planter slots and arrange them in a way that's convenient to use #which sounded great on paper but was really hard to actually do #The slatted doorway isn't functional #The hallway door with the red curtain is actually functional #it opens to a teeny tiny treasure room #with an fc chest #He likes to hang out and craft in there because I set up an “oasis” themed soundtrack that actually kinda slaps #so it's good vibes to sit and listen in the cool atmosphere #I tried so hard with the alt text here
