You know one thing I really liked about the latest episode of Dungeon Meshi

It's like this little short 2-second sequence. Right after Laiosh offers Kabru the omelette made with harpy eggs, there's a comedic beat where he eats them and there's internal dialogue and stuff, and then there's just a moment where the "camera" is just kind of panning around to all of these characters eating together. The giant samurai demon girl is eating a huge bowl of rice, the other characters are sitting around leaning against the walls and stuff, people are just happy and they're all just eating this food together.

It's a nice moment. I miss that. Man I have to join like a neighborhood association or something and go to a cookout, talk to some people, get the hell out of the house
