Part 7: Asher and Babe

Babe is one of the only people Ashers head can clear around

Asher’s hair was so FRIED at one point that he shaved a buzz cut. Only to immediately bleach patterns into it

They’re both big on touch but Asher asks for it more often

Asher is one of those that can eat and eat and eat and never put in weight, get acne, bloated etc

This is OP on the cutie pie post, and you don't even know how right you are about the polycule! Lian also points out to Yi that they should buy houses that are next to each other and build a walkway between them, so when Kuea or Diao run away or throw their husbands out, they at least have an easy walk to the other's house to hide in.

The energy Yi and Lian give is that they totally hooked up in college and then agreed to never speak of it again. (And they mostly honor this agreement unless Lian decides he wants to mess with Yi)

Meanwhile Kuea and Diao are the kind of codependent teen queer friendship where they're more than half in love. They definitely practiced kissing together because they were anxious they wouldn't be good at it with their Hia's. Just friend stuff.

It might also have something to do with the fact that it's besties paired with besties irl, but we can't ignore what the canon text is giving us.

I feel like they're the kind of poly group where everyone is kinda with everyone else, but there are relationships within it that are more "official" or dedicated or whatever. (Liankuea and yidiao)

But everyone knows that Kuea and Diao have a thing, and Liam and Yi have a thing and they might not switch it up with one another's partners very often (liandiao and yikuea) but they're not against it. 👀

rebuilding my wardrobe: part one ദ്ദി(｡•̀ ,<)~✩‧₊

welcome, cuties~! it's so wonderful to be writing about this particular subject as i'm fresh from a ton of research..! some new readers may not know much about my personal journey as a lolita so i'll give a brief run down before we start with the topic of today's post. (˶ˆᗜˆ˵) i started buying lolita fashion a year, going on two now, so i'm still quite new building my wardrobe up.. this also coupled with the fact i was gothic lolita turned sweet in the middle of last year.. (ᵕ—ᴗ—) while i have some semblance of a sweet wardrobe from my change, it is not in line with the specific color scheme i'm dreaming towards. obviously my blog as of late has been all about setting goals, revisiting coordinates of my new style to see the improvements, and discussing the future of my newfound style. but making plans to plan around my signature style hasn't quite yet occurred to me.. (∩˃o˂∩)♡

while i've stated the kind of style i aim for (2000s - early 2010s sweet) as well as the color schemes i have planned, i realize i need to choose pieces to get my wardrobe started and work with what i have. i haven't seriously dissected my wardrobe to see what ACTUALLY fits where i'm wanting to go with my whole pink x black / black x pink wardrobe. the concept isn't hard to grasp, neither the chosen years for my looks, but i have been looking too forward into in general versus actually making moves to plan my wardrobe further presently, and invest in pieces that i could use everyday as a lifestyler while hoping to get my hands on my dream items..! so today starts the day i map out coordinates and exactly what things i need to get a capsule wardrobe started that will eventually turn into a more fleshed wardrobe in the future! ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و

i think planning a capsule wardrobe currently is the best decision for me at the moment as my wardrobe isn't as cohesive as i want it to be, and it definitely gives me wiggle room when it comes to budgeting for personal spending on lolita. thinking smaller rather than the bigger picture is definitely grounding and a great place to start..! a capsule wardrobe also allows for me to have versatile coordinates from casual to ott if i wanted!◝(ᵔᵕᵔ)◜ i researched capsule wardrobes today via youtube and other lolita's blogs - all of which i'll leave at the end of this post! serious shoutout to them for being lifesavers.

starting point: what do we have?

the most logical starting point for me is asking, "what do we have?". asking this is a great way to get a good look into making sure i'm not investing in something already similar, and even help me free up some space if it's something i can sell to make room for an item more suitable to my wardrobe. the colors for this capsule wardrobe is black with pink accents or vice versa, so we can base pieces around this while trying to keep the looks inspired by my favorite years of lolita! (๑´>᎑<)~* things i have current in my wardrobe that are suitable for my capsule wardrobe plans (below):

so, obviously it isn't much, but it's a definite start! let's move onto the next phase of action..! (,,>﹏<,,)

next: what do we need?

the begrudged question.. what do we need? judging by the starting point.. a lot, but that's alright! that's the joy of lolita is that planning really does make it perfect. from the videos i watched to the blog series i read there were some similar takes on how many main pieces and non-main pieces a capsule wardrobe could start off with / consist of. main pieces things being - 1 op, 2 or more jsks, 1 or 2 bottoms of choice (in my case skirts), 2 or more blouses, 1 or more outer garments (anything from a bolero, vest, or cardigan), 1 or more pairs of shoes (different colors obviously, but for me pink and black), and finally at least 3 different types of head pieces to get that variety into your capsule wardrobe! those headpieces can be (for sweet lolita anyway) headbow, beret, or smaller bows. non-main pieces are petticoat / hoopskirt, bloomers, otks, ankle socks, or tights, as well as one or more purse. a bonnet is also a choice for more ott sweet looks! i made a note of this as i would like to have an ott sweet look if i ever was able to get involved in community lolita activities..! (♡ˊ͈ ꒳ ˋ͈) now that it's noted we can plan accordingly and layout a visual of what we need to pair with what we already have and build upon.

i'll keep this as a mini-series of building my capsule wardrobe with me, but it'll be fun! in the meantime i'll work on a visual for next week that will display the "vibe" i'm going for while not necessarily showing the pieces i own or will own. i really can't wait to see where it goes, and to see my wardrobe grow from a small one in the future to a bigger one.

And THEN you remember the World Government has access to the Hobi-Hobi no mi since Sugar's locked up in Impel Down. They've already made a replica of Senor Pink's fruit in the short time he's been imprisoned there, what's stopping them from doing it again with another Donquixote pirate?

Sugar was definitely the biggest non-Doffy threat in Dressrosa. I mean if turning peope into her unwitting toy soldiers wasn’t enough, she wipes your existence from everyone while you’re stuck in with the memories! Truly a too OP Devil Fruit that shouldn’t be used ever…which is exactly why the World Government would insist of having it, but only for practical reasons! Safekeeping from returning to the hands of ruthless pirates!

…But in their hands, the right hands, it could do some good, couldn’t it? In the name of Justice you sometimes need to do things you’d rather not! Give it to a criminal and you’ll have mayhem! Leave it to a blank slate, a being only reserved for the most serious of cases…you have something so much more! I mean they have dogs and birds working for them and that’s fine! Okay so. I saw a post saying that Star Wars and g4 MLP are basically impossible to make good crossover designs for. And it seems pretty tough…But I think I can do it. My years of watching all that bullshit have prepared me lmao.

almost all species are now pony shaped with alien features. The only exceptions are species that would have fit within the mlp universe in the first place. Like Yoda and Ewoks. I judge this based entirely on vibes.

no more common magic, unicorn horns are just horns ( though the categories of Pegasus, earth, and unicorn are part of every species).

The Force is accessed as usual-having an innate ability or a lot of gumption, and is renamed to just being Magic, so we can keep spells that do things instead of mostly telekinesis. However, it still runs off of being an energy field made of the hopes and fears of all living things.

All awakened Magic users naturally turn into far less-op versions of Alicorn, it’s the only way to fully access the entirety of Magic. This happens usually after a year or two of training. This gives the user an Alicorn horn with which to do more complex magic. Different from unicorn horn.

No cutie marks that would give me a massive headache trying to figure out. Destiny is already a huge part of Star Wars anyways.

Lightsabers…an icon of Star Wars. But a huge logistical problem for a crossover with horses. So no lightsabers. Instead they fight like, well, how animals with horns fight, or by blasting magic at each other. It would look silly otherwise.

Darth Vader would have to be redesigned a bit. He would look stupid as hell with that giant Helmet on a pony shaped body. Doesn’t work at all.

I would also make the pony designs slightly less cartoony as well due to the more serious nature of Star Wars.

Design Chatter - MLP Law, Doffy & Cora

I have way too much fun rambling about horses, so I'm going to do it again! The Donquixote brothers are some of my most loaded designs, so explaining my thought process will probably benefit y'all, too 💦💦 Despite featuring fewer ponies this time, it will absolutely be as long, so buckle up! Fair warning for OP spoilers post time-skip, Dressrosa especially.

The arbitrary guidelines I set for myself are the same as always:

Keep it fun and surprising, in the spirit of the original!

I draw in the G4 style, but features from every gen and toy line are fair game

I love back card / blind bag style character blurbs. I live for crumbs of worldbuilding XD

I've purposefully not included cutie marks because I suck at drawing them and I'd never finish a piece if I had to draw them :v (maybe a post for another time?)

In-universe:

As a student, this Unicorn was invited to apprentice at the Ponyville Hospital- but sudden illness stopped him from completing his training. Bitter, he fell in with a rough crowd of Ponies who encouraged him to use his knowledge and magic to hurt instead of heal. Fortunately, he's found good friends to show him the way- and a little bedside manner.

Design:

I'd like to start this section by giving a massive shout-out to @solarmantle, whose Pony Law design inspired my own. Your work is seriously gorgeous!❤️

I knew right away I wanted my version of Law to be super fluffy. He's such a guarded, covered up person that it felt wrong for him to look 'exposed' in that way. The facial hair, thick coat and hat, feathers and... all of his backstory paint a cold image of him in my mind. (I like to think he shed lot when he was first sick, and continues to now whenever he's stressed. Which is always. Then every time it grew back, it came back thicker and thicker.) You can bet that he wears those blue foot bags you get at the hospital over his hoof fluff!

I'm a huge sucker for Law keeping his patches an adult. Since they're no longer being caused by illness, they just look like Vitiligo, which I've always thought is gorgeous. For me, it was a shame for him to lose such a unique aspect of his design! So I was self indulgent and just kept it. I decided to Ponify the spots by changing the white to 'glow in the dark green', so it still looks eye-catching, unnatural and perhaps a little dangerous too. One patch is even shaped like a skull- which really helps with his tough guy image.

Plus, I'm only human, and didn't really want to draw his intricate tattoos onto a horse body😶though for him to have 'DEATH' as a leg design would be pretty rad...

In-universe:

This Pony misses living in the clouds so much, his head has never left there! Though dedicated to his family, he often spends more time thinking about his own plans than seeing the needs just beyond his glasses- which is probably because he's never taken them off. Maybe thinking about a vacation would be more beneficial?

Design:

I'm a firm believer that looking at Doffy should always be uncomfortable 💀He does not make a cute pony. He should not make a cute pony. So if he looks weird to you- good! That's intentional. (Unless you're looking at an actual mistake in the art, in which case no you're not)

So, Celestial Dragons. What a thing to try and put onto a cartoon horse. Honestly, I didn't want to make them actual Dragons or Alicorns or anything cool that feeds into their image. The Celestial's power comes from self-entitlement and oppression rather than any actual respect or... powers- so I'm not gonna give them any! Their whole culture is built around their (inflated) ancestry, so I decided to equate that to, and base them off of, Generation 1 ponies.

Celestials have an interesting signature style. Even the 'fallen' Doffy and Cora look... pretty bizarre. (Vine boom) Uncoordinated. (Vine boom) Gaudy. (Vine boom) So to try and emulate in this in a more MLP way, I decided to load them up with features from the toys instead. I love a good toy gimmick and G1 has loads of great ones. The whole Donquixote Family are weird and toyetic as hell. It feels like it was meant to be-!

As a loud and tastelessly dressed man, I gave Doffy three gimmick features. Twinkle-Eyes, a leg design and Celestial stripes. Totally over the top. (I'll cover leg designs in Cora's section so I don't repeat myself!) Amazingly, Celestial ponies are a real thing in G1! They've got these marble effect stripes- plus a cute star headpiece.

Since he's 'fallen' I decided to leave out the stars (wow, literally grounded! #humble) but I could totally see the current nobles having them. On a toy it's adorable! On an actual character, pretty ugly looking to have stars on rods coming out of your skull. Twilight even wore a similar headpiece in Suited For Success and the canon ponies thought it looked stupid- so I think it fits their aesthetic just fine.

The Twinkle-Eyes are a bit of fun, considering we never get to see under the glasses. There are lots of popular headcanons that Doffy might be blind or have light sensitivity (as someone who wore green lenses for this, this would be cool) and having gems instead of pupils is my in-universe take on this! Beautiful. Horrific. The official lore for the eyes is disgusting. Couldn't ask for a better blend to suit him perfectly.

In-universe:

This clumsy Pony might not have a lot to say, but he doesn't need to when he wears his heart on his sleeve! He's full of surprises, too, from airship navigation to ice arrow shooting- he's even an Equestria Games champ at the sport! Perhaps behind the cute pink exterior lies an all action hero...? Nah, surely not.

Design:

Families are a weird thing in G1. Baby Ponies are just smaller versions of their parents- and even the parents look similar. Again, something really cute and simple for a toy becomes weird for an actual character 😂

But it works for the Donquixotes! As kids, Rosi is absolutely a smaller, shyer Doffy, who in turn both look a lot like their parents. So I decided to let them share more features than you'd typically see in G4 or G5: Same pony type, coat colour, build, eye shape... Consistency is key if you want to fit in at Marijoa!

Cora is a 'Twice as Fancy' Pony, so he has symbols all over his body (instead of just the flank) to emulate his shirt! There's even a heart on his nose, perfect for booping 🥺Admittedly, the 'name on leg' gimmick is from G3, but I thought it would be a fun addition for a group who use code names in their daily and business life. Think of it like a spray paint stencil on the fur! King has fully replaced his old name, but Cora is just a code name, y'know?

Doffy probably wouldn't show off his underground name every day lol, but sometimes strutting your stuff around the house makes you feel a little better 🤣

1) life & school

i Am nervous about school hbdfhbg i’m a sociology major!! ^^ love soc but i switched to honours so i have to keep my gpa up, and most of my classes this year are really reading/writing/presentation heavy.. plus i'm trying a full course load for the first time so doing my thesis next yr will be easier, but i'm already easily stressed and burnt out.. lol.. ;; it's probably fine though

life’s getting busy.. and i’m not sure my cosplay will get here in time for my con but it’s ok tbh! the good outweighs the bad for those things. i wish i had money for the con outside my grants/loans but LOL that's life 

2) celebrating my birthday with keiji :3

tmi maybe. i haven’t had a great birthday since i was 15/16 to be honest FBHBDJ i'm so burnt out and depressed in dec that the past few years i haven’t done anything at all LOL but hearing this,, keiji makes it his mission to give me a good one ^^ ! 

he takes the day off and makes sure the day is just for us! practices making heart shaped pancakes and cooks breakfast.. i walk in on him in the kitchen super focused and accidentally scare him LOL he wanted it to be a surprise but it’s ok!! i watch and talk while i wait

it’s usually cold so i don't go anywhere ;; but we still have fun!! it’s nothing crazy,, we just talk, put on a show while we work on a puzzle or bake… play some co-op games.. order dinner.. yeagh

i watched the first season of kny but dropped it after hebfhsbjb nothing against it, just not rlly my cup of tea!! but i know quite a few deaths and the manga ending.. i don’t have a fave demon though.. i liked tanjiro + giyuu + sabito (predictable x3). also fond of rengoku (predictable) and mitsuri/obanai (predictable). Is akaza awesome and beautiful. i don't rlly know genya but i’ve seen him and his brother!! I did find Cutey Honey francchise before, thanks to the OP song and went listening to all version of it lol. Then found out about Shin Cutey Honey - Legend of Goodbye whicch sounds so good. But what made me not watcch it was once I got to know it has ecchi in it which I'm not a fan of it. I know og anime has it as welll and some other wweird stuff, but like I don't know. :/

Oh yeah, the Cutie Honey series has a LOT of ecchi. It's important to remember that Cutie Honey- except for Flash- is primarily a shounen/seinen franchise, meaning that it's aimed towards men. Go Nagai is also known for being a dirty old man (not saying this to condemn him) which explains a lot of the ecchi in his series, lol.

Flash is the exception because it's a shoujo series specifically targeted at Sailor Moon's audience. Most of the ecchi has been removed and more Sailor Moon-esque magical girl elements are included. That's why I said in my post that it's by far the most approachable Cutie Honey series for magical girl fans.

Hello Tumblr!

Hi, hello it's me again your favorite yapper whose obsessed with Weezer. Today I have a variety filled report, I want to briefly talk about an album I listened to, I want to talk a little bit about my favorite game, Baldur's Gate 3 and just overall a little update about me. Starting with the music I listened to "Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We?" by The Cranberries. I know absolutely nothing about The Cranberries but I enjoyed the album quite a lot. I'll continue listening to them, don't really have much else to say for now at least. Then onto Baldur's Gate. I took basically a 11 month hiatus from the game but now I'm getting back into it. I downloaded a few mods, continued my last save and created a few modded runs and characters. I think the thing I really wanted to share with you all is my tavs. I've made 7 of them now (one has yet to get any screenshots but I'll show you all the cutie pie eventually!!!) and I love each of them with all of my heart and I figured I'd share them cause why not. I also for some reason had a tradition of only doing male characters I think because I liked the challenge of making a not only cool but also hot/cute man?? But either way me doing that single handedly turned me bi, at least for men who look like my tavs(hit me up if you look like any of these fine character), including the dragon. Hopefully this orders them correctly, staring us off is: Kabal (Mephiston Tiefling, Necromancy Wizard), he was my first ever real playthrough and one of my favorites, he is a redeemed durge playthrough. Then next is Kori(half drow, Fiend Warlock/Battle Master Fighter), I believe most of these screenshots are of him, I also love him, he is a not redeemed durge playthrough. He is quite cool, it was by far one of my favorite playthroughs especially because Warlock/Fighter is OP. He was quite a horrible person however. Then the greatest dragon to ever exist, Snickerdoodle(dragonborn, bard). This was the best playthrough by far, Snickerdoodle supremacy. Snickerdoodle was an angel. Then is Silas(Seldarine Drow, Oathbreaker Paladin/Fiend Warlock). Originally he was also going to be a sorcerer like Kori but I wanted to try the Oathbreaker. He's a redeemed durge and morally grey. I also nicknamed him "The White Wolf" because he was named after a horror character called Silas and also nicknamed The White Wolf, it appeared in "The Quarry", I loved the game and thought the name went hard so I named him after it. Then is Fuera(Noble Half Elf. Light Cleric, Seldarine). I haven't gotten to Fuera's playthrough yet cause I'm still on Silas' but he is a redeemed durge again and morally good, I mainly just wanted to play as a cleric and in all honesty romance Shadowheart as a Seldarine. Then finally the first modded and also female character is Scarlett(Asmodeus Tiefling, Blood Mage). The class, her hair and the head model is all modded. She is a not redeemed durge playthrough and is going to be worse than Kori was, basically evil all the way with no exceptions. Although that kinda makes her hotter ngl, I love her. Especially because she and Kabal are the only two tieflings so the dynamic between one of the most moral tavs and the worst one is cool. And that is all of them. I don't think anyone will have read this far but if you did then I hope you enjoyed my tavs. And that is about it for today, big things are happening in my life so expect a lot of posts like this where I just yap and expel some stress by sharing my interests with you fine people. So if you read this or any other of my yap sessions, thank you. Next time I will probably be talking very in depth about the band Nirvana. Them and their story interest me a lot and I've already listened to all their albums so expect an all in one deal.

10:10 a.m Edited/Added to Significantly

I had a dream last night that I was stuck in a car/camper type thing being trapped with 4 of my friends (idk who they were). We were being trapped by someone idk who.

They all started freezing to death. And one of them couldn't sleep. One of them was microsleeping next to a dead body. The dead body was frozen, his lips were ice. His face was frozen.

I wanted to leave and I kept trying. I called my mom and sister and I think I reached my sister. She didn't show up for me.

I remember being scared that I was going to start microsleeping again. I was terrified cause my friend was unable to fall asleep.

I think it was symbolic of me dying due to the trauma of microsleeping/Psychosis.

I really wish I could get over that trauma.

I reattached the heart monitor today I'm taking it off at like 8 p.m cause I'm not being woken up in the middle of the night with my chest all itchy and having to carefully remove it with hot water and a rag. Then I won't be able to fall back to sleep without copiuos amounts of drugs... so I'll take of it off before bed so it can't interrupt my sleeping pill from keeping me knocked out.

I had a couple good nights sleeping where I stayed asleep solidly through the night. Without needing to pee. Something that helped was not having that monitor on waking me up making me remove it.

I wish I didn't have to celebrate getting 7 hours of sleep and not waking up at the 4 hour mark, needing to pee and taking copiuos amount of drugs and it taking me 1-2 hours to get back to sleep.

I wake up multiple times in pain cause I have to pee so badly despite controlling my fluid intake before bed. But there is nothing I can do. It's lay there in pain and fall back to sleep or struggle to fall back to sleep and take a lot of drugs... and maybe not fall back to sleep.

After I posted what I posted last night, "what Sarah said" by Death Cab for Cutie started playing in my head maybe a hour later. "Love is watching someone die." Specifically and then, "and it came to me then that every plan is a tiny pray to father time."

I don't believe you're here but my brain wants to. I said that if you were here and you weren't reaching out, it would be cruel bc you're watching me suffer when you could be reaching out a hand.

Maybe I should look at it like this, "love is watching someone die." Cause it is. So if you're here and you can't talk to me bc you're in love with me and you're trying to set up your life before you show up its forgivable bc it's true. Love is watching someone die.

The tiny pray to father time part is maybe I'll hold on but you don't get it. It's awful listening to this hallucination 24/7. I never have a good day. I've completely flat lined and when I say I wouldn't want a gf so badly if I had internal peace I mean that.

I enjoy my alone time and game days so much but I dont anymore cause I hallucinate whenever I'm alone. I actually like being alone more than I like being around people. People suck and you have to compromise on everything. When I'm alone if I had internal peace I can do whatever I want whenever I want. I don't have to compromise on anything. Thats the sad part. I'd rather know few people and have tight relationships than be surrounded by people.

I used to LOVE my alone time now I would if I ever had a second of silence.

And generally the people i can hang out with I don't like much. I mean it doesn't apply to everyone but most are toxic... just bad for me...

Even the people I do like, like John for instance we have a lot in common but we still have to compromise. He loves zombies. I hate fucking zombies but like there aren't too many co-op games. Instead of playing what I want I have to compromise bc of the lack of co-op games and being a good friend is compromising. He wants to play zombies so I should. He compromises too.

That's the thing about relationships. I love being alone but all I do is hallucinate. If I could hang out alone and just play minecraft in peace and silence I'd be so happy. My quality of life would get so much better.

Part of me believes you read my tumblr but if you're here and you're not going to be my girl one day if it works out you got to reach out before it's too late. Being able to come to your house and have a Sunday funday or something and get to know your family and be around not toxic people could really help my mental health. A lot.

Haha I didn’t think anyone would actually see my post.

So I am probably gonna change her design because honestly I feel like I can do better at designing her if I study the Rick and Morty style a bit more.

As I said, she is going to be shipped with Morty and is 14-15. I like to think she is Morty’s next door neighbor. Since she is going to be shipped with Morty I am NOT going to make her mean to Jessica. Jessica is a cutie patootie who has done nothing wrong and I hate that trope. Mostly she will just have insecurities about her body (like most teenage girls do. Especially when they have a crush) I like to think she is kinda close to Summer. Not as close as she is to Morty but someone she looks up to.

She has a love-hate relationship with Rick. She thinks he is cool, smart and a badass but omg does she think he is a dick. She wants to look up to him so badly but how he treats Morty makes her angry. She knows he HAS to love him and his family but she doesn’t understand why she treats them that way. She doesn’t say anything because she wants to be on Rick’s good list. Plus, the adventure with Morty (and sometimes Summer too) are super cool in her opinion.

Now, her feelings for Morty aren’t complicated but she is a teenager so it takes her a while to realize she is in love with her best friend. Especially when she doesn’t understand why she is jealous about his girlfriends/flings. Although their scenes are totally fluffy and cute but also some of it will be angsty.

Totally see Evil Chloe be confident in her body and just don’t give a fuck what people think of her.

Once I rewatch the show I think I will have more ideas but this is what I got so far. :)
