since im plus sized and i have ten bajillion sensory issues ive ended up with this like. anxiety? about clothes where its a struggle to let go of old clothes i like that are straight up genuinely unwearable like actual tatters because in the back of my mind theres a little voice thats like WHAT IF YOU NEVER FIND A COMFY SHIRT THAT FITS YOU EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! anyone else got this going on? one thing thats kinda helped is cutting up the busted irreparable clothes and turning the fabric into like useless little plushies or dishclothes or little patches to repair other clothes with BUT still, when faced with a two decade old shirt that is basically just serged seams with tiny threads barely holding tissue thin fabric together, its still tough to get myself to admit that it might be done for LOL

Just watched The Incredibles again and couldn't get it out of my mind that it's very Ellie and Dina coded (I think, anyway) Gonna beg the artists out there to make Dina into Elastigirl/Helen Parr.

It was unsurprising to me that I could barely find anything that didn't have Elastigirl in an uncompromising position (thanks, internet -_-) and I just want to have it out there: I am NOT AT ALL trying to sexualize Dina's character OR Elastigirl/Helen Parr. I am simply saying that I personally think Dina and Elastigirl/Helen have a lot in common. (Except Mr. Incredible/Bob didn't leave his family, but that's BESIDES THE POINT)

This image just screams fed up with (insert name here). I saved this image as "fed up Dina" because I can just imagine Dina being here after Ellie has done something stupid and needs to be saved by her.

“Eat first,” Gigi says quietly, and Jackie excitedly dives in to find her favourite treat. She bites into it; rich and sticky and sweet. It leaves a dusting of powdered sugar on her lips and on the tip of her nose, and Gigi can’t help but run her thumb over Jackie’s lips and taste the sugar herself. Jackie hums contentedly next to her. They sit in silence as they sip at their mugs, knees hugged into their chests, lazy smiles on their lips as they watch the waves roll slowly below them.

“You know,” Gigi is the first to break the silence, “that first year we came here was the first time I really stopped to think about what a life with you might be like,” she doesn’t break her gaze from the ocean, but she can feel Jackie’s eyes on her, “sometimes it’s more hectic than we would like, but doing life with you is more than I could have ever imagined, more than I had ever hoped for. I have to thank you for that.”
