Mace leaned forward and peered at the different medias being shown, swinging his legs idly as he thought about each of them.

"Hmm... well- it's gotta be one where the 'mystery' ain't super easy ta figure out, ya'know? I like workin' it out myself. Oh- an' on that topic actually- or well- not really- but anyway! I talk to myself a bunch when I watch this kinda stuff- I mean I can try not to but- LOL. It won't do much. Just a head's up, I guess."

He nodded, rambling a little off topic as he spoke. You can't blame him though, he couldn't help it that he was the kind of person that just wants to get up and start shouting at the protagonist of a show for being dumb, or try deduce the plot of the film before it's even happened.

Whenever he and Yuuto are watching something in the same room, Yuuto takes to hitting him in the head with a pillow every time he starts speaking. It usually ends up with Mace snatching the pillow and bashing the hell out of him back. Crimson is always much more entertained by them than the film, so he guessed there was that.

For the second afternoon in a row that week, Mace found himself walking down the same corridor of the Diasomnia dorms. He would have come by sooner, having finished downloading all of the stuff onto the drive way earlier, but he got a bit distracted doing... a few different things. He hoped Casimir didn't mind the wait too much. It would be a shame if he did.

Approaching Casimir's door, he knocked the same way he did last time, before stepping back.

"Yello~! Guess who it is~!"

He called out, combing his fingers through his hair to neaten it up a bit while he waited for the door to open. Not that he was trying to make it look extra neat. But more... trying to make it seem like he didn't just crawl out of bed a few hours ago, just to only make it in time to attend the last class of the day. Because he definitely didn't. Definitely.

I shall always remember those past days of my childhood, those days where something...

I dont really remember My childhood that much but i remember that i had parents that were kind and loving, I grew up in a small town near a huge forest where I always used to play in! It was very fun!

I used to play there from when the sun came up until the soon went down, I've always had a thing for forests I guess. I made many memories there!

But one memory shall always stand out for me. I remember it was a beautiful spring day I was playing in the grass as a normal seven year old would.

Until a man approached me.The man asked me kindly "Hi there little one I was wondering if you have seen a dove fly by?" His voice was calm and gentle he was dressed in a long white gown and his yellow eyes that shined bright...

He didn't look human at a all but I still answered him."Uh no sir I haven't seen a dove fly by..." "Ah, what a shame" he said and smiled gently, but then he asked "Whats your name? How old are you?"

"Huh?.. well im Malkim im seven!" "Seven? You're a baby why are you here All alone!? Where are you're parents?" "My parents?.. well they are at work" "Oh dear. Well we should get you home Come on. Why don't I follow you home?" "Oh uhm..sure?.."

Then that mysterious man ended up following me home dropping me off, but after I meet him there would always be two white Doves that would just sing all day plus they would follow my parents around everywhere they went...I never knew why.

But then...

one day, when I came home from playing in the forest I saw my house, it was in flames. The house I grew up in was set in flames...

But there was something off, the two doves that always used to be there...were dead..? They burned in the fire just like my parents did...

"Oh dear what happened here..?"A familiar voice said it was the same young man I meet some days ago..."I dont know...i just came home and and!-" i said my voice was trembling, for the first time in years I was crying..it hurt

"Ah, that's terrible my child. Please don't cry. Why don't you come home with me? I'll take good care of you"

...

That day the strange man named "Dove" took me in as his own... And after that everything became a nightmare."Dove" promised to take care of me but he didn't...

He ended up experiencing on me I still dont why but It hurt. It hurt bad I felt like I was being burnt Alive... i didnt even feel human anymore. He's evil and he knows it. He's a terrible person I hate him more then anything.

After four years of pure torture i ended up finding a way to escape that terrible "Dove". I finally felt free it was felt amazing i loved it...

And I ended up meeting the love of my life...

His name is Harper he's a beautiful boy and I love him so much! I wanna spend the rest of my life with him.

My opinion about Malkim is that i think he's becoming a fav oc now. But Dove is still over him ig. I was actually gonna put human trafficking in this but nah. Doesn't mean that Dove has done that tho.

Rolling out the Red Carpet for the Cinema branch!!

Hello,hi, it's me that one person who makes the funny videos and thinks she can draw(she cannot) Inspiration hit me in the middle of my film studies course while watching Vertigo by Alfred Hitchcock and I thought "what if I made my own LCB branch where every sinner is based on a movie I've watched in my film class (and just general classic Hollywood cinema) and so I did it! The branch is currently VERY unfinished,as I add a new sinner each week for every film we watch in the class,so lemme introduce you to the guys that I've at least doodled so far(awful art incoming lol)

First up,we need a manager,or should I say,director(get it, because it's based on movies?) anyway here's Dorothy! If it wasn't obvious, she's based on the Wizard of Oz,She may or may not have come from the Outskirts and now she's running around with these sinners,and her little dog too! Oh and her red slippers(boots now,IG lol)? Those have a use, clicking her heels 3 times allows her to bring her sinners back to life!

Our guide is Glinda! Also based on Wizard of Oz,I have....not drawn her yet! But she is ultra hands off,she mainly communicates by sending Dorothy letters in bubbles,oh and did I mention she's a color fixer? ...yea I probably should have started with that

Now onto our actual sinners, don't ask me about major plot details about them,I haven't worked it out yet,

Sinner #1,This is Chaplin! Based on Modern Times by Charlie Chaplin,this guy is more of a fusion of the two main characters of the movie since uhm...neither of them have names and frankly their stories are both so intertwined that You could easily mix them together so here we are. They are the most comical of the sinners,I have described them as having a lot of cat like behaviors to a degree, and they are selectively mute(silent film lol) They have a white board they write on like it's Lethal Company and they have Heelys(mainly for the funny)

I haven't uhm.....finished sinner #2 yet because everytime I try to draw him my art style makes him look like the Pringles mascot lol but it's Kane! Kane is based on Charles Foster Kane from Citizen Kane by Orson Welles! Right now currently he's like "god I'm in a company of all women...AND CHAPLIN" He's rich like....richer than Hong Lu rich,he does seem to offhandedly mention something Rosebud and it seems almost like he's searching for it...wonder what that could be?(Btw go watch Citizen Kane, I'm not telling you what Rosebud is)

Finally out last Sinner at the moment: Sinner #3 Judy based on Judy from Vertigo! Yessir this is the reason for the branch, her source got my imagination spinning (she may or may not be mine and Amia's favorite atm of the branch) I would have made Scottie a sinner but......I hate his ass and need him exploded and not in the cute way(JUDYYYYYY YOU DESERVED SO MUCH BETTER GIRLLL) Judy is also 20x more fun as a character than Mr. "I'm gonna stare at women for 70% of my screentime" Honestly I could gush so much about her but I won't to keep this brief... essentially by the end of Vertigo Scottie convinces her to change everything about herself to turn her into his lost love/obsession Madeleine (ai know there's more too it but uhm....Go watch Vertigo, I'm not spoiling the movie)[PS, Ignore the doodle in the corner, that was from an idea that Amia's OC Tessie and Judy would get along well]

Tomorrow we'll actually have Sinner #4 who's gonna be based on someone from the movie Sunset Boulevard ( I don't pre watch these bc my attention span actually increases so much when I analyze movies for Limbus)

Okokok so i have multiple stories but ill spare yall and just give you the main one (or ig the most fleshed out one?)

It follows a teen girl Elora, who's a silly gal and by silly i mean autistic and would bite someone if pressed. She reallyyy likes big words, like you know those hyperspesfic words that describe super specific moments or feelings? She loves those. Being super specific is her Jam. Anyways, she's friends with two kids Edgar (has bit someone and would bite again) and Paige (would never bite someone. Allows affectionate biting.)

Elora's mom is named Bellaire, she's a single mom who works one job, loves her kid and never stops, we love Belle. Where is eloras dad you may be asking!? Doesnt exist. Pokemon style. (I have never played pokemon but ive seen enough delia x jesse art to know). I kinda leave the second parent up for interpretation because its fun to see what ppl come up with :3 (kinda like mrs. Afton? Literally built out of headcanons and dreams) Bellaire is a health IT worker and she loves it! It's why she moved to Pennsylvania in the first place! She kinda moved around a bit as a kid from france to italy to north carolina so good for her for staying put :3

Uh- okay so one thing about my stories is i do not care if its realistic for a Korean woman in 1987 to be working IT. The world in my stories is nicer. Doesnt mean bad stuff doesnt exist! It just means im going to pretend it can happen because she deserves for it to happen >:[

Belle and Elora are real close since theyre kinda the only family each other have, El has a tricky time expressing emotions and affection, whereas Belle is reallt outwordly affectionate so some miscommunication happens there :( boy itd be a shame if Someone were to not make it to the end of the story and theyd be unable to communicate properly (<- its not written yet.. i will be killing at least someone off though...)

Edgar and El have that "never met one of my parents" swag, Edgar in the form of my dad sucks (im not projecting youre projecting. What.) And his momma died when he was real young. His mom and Bellaire were reallll... close.

They were gay.

But yknow, she died so Ed's dad took over and cut belle out of edgars life, so poor baby ed has zero support systemUntil he meets elora on a rainy day when hes much older, about 12 or 13 id say?

Paige is significantly less traumatized, but she has the "i need to be suuper happy and a support system for everyone else because they obviously have it worse than i do" disorder :(

okay. OKAY SO. gonna give u a basic rundown. basically, i have my Gravity Falls ocs (they're the ones i talk most about so i'm assuming these are the ones you're referring to)

my 4 Main ones are laurie, jocelyn, sam, and rudy !!! (aysel is another one, but he's in a different universe. if that makes sense. i won't be talking about her here)

anways, here's drawings of my ocs for reference !!

so basically. i'm not gonna go TOO deep into lore, but i will do a super quick recap.

laurie (ginger one) was born in canada, had to move to the States just before high school. it's super scary!!! bcs she's all alone and whatnot. BUT! then she meets some new friends!! (sam and rudy [bottom two]) trio hijinks ensue, laurie falls in love with jocelyn, even more hijinks ensue. high school finishes, and they all part ways. laurie and jocelyn go to backupsmore, sam goes to west coast tech, and rudy stays in idaho for college.

laurie and jocelyn then meet ford and fiddleford (who have been there for 2 years already), and sam and rudy do their own thing in their own schools ig.

they all graduate from their separate colleges and go off to do their own things as adults !!!

sam does astrophysics and science and NERD STUFF and becomes PRETTY famous! (she even wrote a few books!!)

rudy does comics for a living, like, drawing and writing them! it's been one of his passions Forever. so!!

and laurie and jocelyn live happily in gravity falls !!

I don’t vent often, but I rlly need to get this off of my chest, Besties. 😅 It’s been a LOOONG time coming, and I’m just tired of feeling this way.

So like, some time ago -- maybe a year or two ago now? time is an illusion, idk -- I tried to cast a line out into one of the popular Stardew Valley Art and OC Communities (the most popular one at the time, idk what the landscape is like now tbh because the ordeal kind of put me off of trying to join communities for a while and even exploring the sdv tag beyond looking at Elliott art lmfao), and the response was just an absolute mess...Not only did they take a while to respond to me (because they were busy talking mess about the situation in their little server...yes I have proof lmao), they didn’t look into my content at all, AND straight up lied about the reason they wouldn’t let me join. It all ended with some of them blocking me for some reason?? (likely because in frustration I made a vent post after the whole situation somewhere along the lines of “if they were a clique, they should just say so”) and now I’m fairly certain one of them, whose art I really admire, is refusing to answer my asks (literally just saying I love their art, or asking little art related questions as I am wont to do) because of the whole situation...

And it’s all just crazy to me?? I don’t think I did anything particularly wrong aside from the vent post which was isolated to My blog and not linked to them in any way. I acknowledge that. But all I did otherwise was send out a few anons to see who I should talk to about joining, and then I talked to that person when I FINALLY got an answer after being given the run around.

And that answer was that they weren’t accepting any members, but if there was someone in the server who could vouch for me, I could be extended an invitation. Which is hilarious, because at the time there were two or three people from the last Stardew Community I was in, and even one I had just met at the time, who were part of their discord server; one of whom, I hear, even vouched for me. They also said they only accepted people who were making stardew content, which, might I add, was RAMPANT on my blog at the time, clueing me in to the fact that they didn’t even glance at it (that and the fact that they called me by Kaibara’s name when I finally got a response :T). 

Guess it would have been a little awkward to let me in after they had such a lengthy and not too nice conversation about the situation sitting in the chat logs. 

It’s something that I go back to from time to time because the situation really made me feel like shit...like...they didn’t even try to talk to me, they talked mad shit about me sending out anons to ask if they were accepting members (calling it creepy??? like...ok lmao), and now I’m blocked and or being ignored by people I did nothing to?? I feel like it shouldn’t be such a source of pain tbh but, sensitive folks gonna be sensitive, IG.

There was one person who I greatly appreciated, who reached out about the situation and was very nice about it -- apologizing for the whole thing, even though they had very little to do with it. I still appreciate them, and hope they’re doing alright. (If you’re reading this....I’m sorry I’m bad about keeping in contact haHAAA)

There wasn’t really any point to this post, I just needed to let it out. I don’t think its BAD that they’re a clique, I just found it really shitty of them to do all this instead of just...yknow...acknowledging that they didn’t want to add people to the friend group.

Did anyone else experience anything like this? Am I the only one being shunned just because I wanted to make some new art friends? :T

It's my 5 year anniversary on Tumblr 🥳 --- Wow it's been 5 years since I tried to learn to draw properly and post them here 😅

Long rambling under the cut

Honestly it was pretty challenging for me because my study (when I started this blog) was pretty intense, also I live at home, commute every day to go to class so finding time & energy to draw is out of the window. I'm always amazed that most of my fav artists are real university students too, who probably have it even harder than me but they can draw a lot better... So why can't I??

The thing that I learned over time is, I improved faster when I draw fan arts. Because I have real and strict references to follow, unlike when I do OC where I usually just random bullshit go. That's why you see me posted fan arts more here. I just do my favorite fandom to motivate myself lol.

I am a picky person regarding fandom because mentally I can't handle so many heartbreaks (HAHA). And I need a fandom with diverse things to draw. Fate series is very perfect for me. I really like their ideas and the characters are just challenging. I've been into it since 2016-2017 and my pre-Fate art compared to today is... dkgeagwefgwk. I owe my skill growth to this fandom. My first post here was a Tomoe Gozen fan art 😂

I got into radar twice (which is still weird and unbelievable) because of a Noragami FA and my first A:TLA FA ever posted. Which was funny, because I don't draw them that much. But then again, my first "exposure" was from a random Taylor Swift ink art for a random inktober in 2019. That was so surreal lol.

Maybe you notice another fandom I draw a lot too, yes the game of all people in this world: Genshin Impact. Man, I started the game in release and thought "I have to make at least one fan art with the scenery of the game, and maybe this gonna be my first and last GI fan art." And look where we are now. I didn't expect this game would blow up, I believe the first FA I posted was one of the earliest Genshin post on tumblr 😂.I started doing GI FA also because I am mesmerized by the landscape and want to draw landscapes better. You see, there's this kind of reason in EVERY media I'm involving myself into. I simply like pretty and cool things. Sadly at some point the fandom is hell, so I like to take a step back sometimes.

Few months ago I also did some vtubers FA. Although mostly HoloID only, simply because I'm proud of them. Vtuber community has this unique relationship between Vtubers and derivative works, so you can feel real accomplishment when you showed your work to them.

Still, I still highly prefer to make real good original art and story someday. For now, I guess I have to grind first, because my current level is still not where I want to be yet to achieve that.

I use tumblr to post because I like the blogging and tagging system, however this site isn't popular in my country and my marketing for local cons isn't effective if I only use tumblr. I have IG, but I don't like it, thinking I should make twitter or something. AAaaA. My wish for now is to make many money with art lol (at least to supply my disposable income).

And some little things about myself, I'm working now, but not in creating art/design field. It's more of a history and research field (I do still interested in design... if I have the chance--yes I graduated from design thingy school). This blog is like... my creative outlet. The girl on my avatar is my OC Klappy, a gjinka of klappertaart. Klappertaart is the name of an Indonesian dessert (well, the name itself is dutch I guess) made from coconut topped with raisins. Specially because there are times where I refer to Mammon & MC as an unit with the plural "they/them" and the only way I could differentiate the plural from MC's singular "they/them" use was by using a name for MC.

* I used my own MC for the fic because they're genuinely just gen OM! MC with a name & look and I wanted to keep their personality as close to canon as possible (yes, I use my own MC as a template in my unnamed MC fics as well so that I have something to compare against to know I have a consistent characterisation)

My name is Scott/Sage, I'm 19. I've been drawing since I was in elementary but only started posting art during like, 2017? almost strictly on instagram. however due to erm. recent events involving ai, I've decided to move here! yay.
