Story:  

Nightflower raised his little brother himself after the incident. To the Clans, they had lost someone who drove the Clans apart. To them, they just lost a mother. Songstar was many things, but she was an amazing parent.

He supported his remaining family as much as he could.

He and his little brother were close as could be, and even into adulthood they shared a nest. Which was why when he started developing a crush on Spidertail, Tuftfur’s mate, he pushed his feelings aside and threw himself into his duties as deputy.

And he was a damn good one, as his brother would say. But when he was made leader, all he could fear was becoming like his mother.

He vowed to never fall into her footsteps, and made sure to remain close with his now-adult kits instead of pushing them aside in favour of work.

Nightstar and his mate, Hailfur, were happy. His whole family was happy.

Then Gleambeam and Hailfur died from spoilt prey.

So, he threw himself into his work again. He tried to keep Dryears from bothering his brother, and spent time with his kits one on one as much as he could.

Rumours spread that he valued his family over his Clan, and he felt awful to tell Tuftfur that he couldn’t fulfill his request to be deputy.

Spidertail was made deputy instead, and the next moons were rather peaceful. No one got hurt, and he even found a new love after Hailfur.

Blackspeckle always brought him flowers, and teased him constantly.

The two fell head over heels for eachother, and the Clan tried to nudge them together for a long time before they finally confessed.

Things were great, and he had grandkits now! His five grandkits were perfect. He watched them grow up as he led his Clan proudly, and tried to repair relations with the other Clans.

Then the cliffs collapsed, destroying trails and making them take more dangerous routes. Dayhare and Goldfur were washed away first, and Nightstar felt so guilty that every morning he woke up before the sun.

He walked the trails for the day, convinced that if someone were to fall it should be him.

One morning, the new warrior Forestpelt caught up to him, and asked if he could walk with him. They talked, and Forestpelt was very sweet to him. They laughed, and talked as the sun finally started to rise. Forestpelt started to slow down, and it was clear he was getting tired. Nightstar felt bad, and tried to steer them towards a shortcut.

Wet rocks tumbled away from their paws, and they fell into the rushing river below.

Nightstar was stunned for a moment, before trying to grab onto Forestpelt in desperation to stay together.

If they could have just stayed together a few moments longer they would have reached a rock where they could pull themselves up.

But instead, their combined weight caused them to hit the rocks, the crashing sound of the rapids covering the crack of Forestpelt’s skull.

Nightstar finally pulled them onto a small ledge, barely wide enough for one cat, and he was frozen in shock as the blood dripped from Forestpelt’s head. His body was limp, and they were both soaked to the bone. Nightstar let out a pained cry, trying to hold the waterlogged body up.

He let go, and squeezed his eyes shut as he heard Forestpelt’s body go over the small waterfall, no doubt landing on the jutting rocks below.

Nightstar passed out, his body exhausted, and died the the next day.

Newleaf

Raccoontooth and Cressfern are both killed by a gang of rogues. Smokesplash was also taking a stroll outside of camp, when she was killed by a dog.

Due to the death, LotusClan takes a heavy toll. Grasscrawl and Chirpfleck are hit particularly hard, and Swiftstar considers retiring.

Rosepelt and Frogleap welcome a single kitten to the world, who they name Hatchkit (male).

Hornetsting and Dawnwatcher have become mates.

Applecall and Grasscrawl welcome their litter of two kits. They name them Robinkit (male) and Echokit (male) in honor of Echoburr.

Halfpeak happily retires to the elders’ den.

While on a patrol, Flowerwhisker falls into the sea. Drizzledapple tries to save him from drowning, but drowns himself.

Greenleaf

Sparrowflight knows he will always love Snappelt, but decides to move on.

Pouncesight tosses a snake outside of the camp before it’s able to bite Mistlebreeze. Snailfur has confessed his feelings to Fawnburr and they have become mates.

Ambertail and Tansyspark are killed by a gang of rogues, led by Beamleap.

Halfpeak disappears for a few days, before turning with a collar.

Covepaw is apprenticed to Sootwhisker, Salmonpaw is apprenticed to Serpentstripe, Wolfpaw is apprenticed to Rootburst, and Rookpaw is apprenticed to Yewflower.

Applecall and Ridgeheather are killed by the same gang of rogues that killed Ambertail and Tansyspark. Meanwhile, Flintfall dies from dehydration.

Yewflower will always love Cressfern, but has decided to move on.

Bumblepaw, Honeypaw, and Firepaw are apprenticed to Tempestclaw, Flowerwhisker, and Flamedance respectively.

Leaf-fall

Lilackite knows she will always love Smokesplash, but has decided to move on.

Rootburst saves Goldfur from a fox, but is injured as a result.

Rushfall announces she is expecting kits with Mistlebreeze.

Pearlight travels to LarchClan to resolve some recent issues.

Whisperriver notices that Jayshade is still struggling over the loss of Ambertail. The two get together and talk about their feelings, where they come to the conclusion it is time for them to both move on after the death of their loved ones.

Robinpaw and Echopaw are apprenticed to Hootbelly and Dawnwatcher respectively. However, the brothers can’t help but demand by Applecall wasn’t there to see them become apprentices.

Rushfall gives birth to a single she-kit. She and Mistlebreeze name her Fernkit.

Grasscrawl knows he will always love Applecall, but has decided to move on. He knows he’s due to meet StarClan any day, and knows he’ll see her there.

Leafbare

Covestripe, Salmontail, Wolfstripe, and Rookwing all earn their warrior names. Rookwing’s penchant for getting into and starting trouble almost made Swiftstar hold back, but knows it would be cruel.

Beamleap has died from old age after being in exile for so long. A patrol comprised of Rootburst, Serpentstripe, and Tempestclaw come across him. They bury him, and report back to their leader. Beamleap has gone to the dark forest, where he plots with Flounder and Jackdaw.

Bumblebuzz, Honeyfur, and Fireclaw all earn their warrior names.

The next moon, Hatchpaw is named Hatchfur.

Here's RiftClan! They live in a gorge. More under the cut!

RiftClan is the most isolated and independent of the clans. They keep to themselves and have a biiit of a collective superiority complex.

Freezestar is the leader. He's calm, cold, and stern. When he was younger though, he was essentially the opposite. Some undisclosed traumatic event happened and changed everything. This resulted in his mate at the time, Shrewthorn, breaking things off shortly before the birth of their daughter Quietthrust. Neither have told her about it. Freezestar later got with Ashrain and had two more kits, Skygaze and Sparktail. He was fairly distant with them, as well. He isn't the greatest of dudes, but he's trying.

Quietthrush is the deputy and she takes this very, very seriously. She's a bit bossy, but responsible, and would do anything for her clanmates. She has a son, Swiftpaw, who she cannot see eye-to-eye with at all now that he's in his rebellious phase.

Shrewthorn is Riftclan's oldest medicine cat and former mate of Freezestar. She's very competent at the healing aspect of her job, but not quite spiritually inclined. She doesn't care though, who needs prophecies? She has a good relationship with her grandson, Swiftpaw, who she really wants to take under her wing as her apprentice, but he's already been put on the path of a warrior.

Ashrain joined the clan as a former wanderer and later got with Freezestar, having two kids with him. She has a good relationship with both, and enjoys embarrassing them greatly. She's the cool aunt of the clan.

Dewstripe, if he were a human, would be into cryptocurrency. That's all you need to know about him.

Dovefrost and Sunsplash are mates and parents to Snowlotus, Cloudstrike, and Fogfern. They also have one grandkid through Snowlotus in Brookpaw. Dovefrost is relaxed and go-with-the-flow, and Sunsplash is Mom Prime.

Snowlotus and Skygaze are the clan's other two medicine cats. Skygaze has clairvoyance of a sort and is plagued by constant visions. He does the heavy lifting for the spiritual side of medicine cat duties due to this. Snowlotus is a Jerk and he's my favorite. He has a daughter, Brookpaw, whom he had following a tryst with a Ridgeclan cat, Frostwillow. The only people he really cares about are his immediate family, Frostwillow, and Skygaze. The latter of whom he helps in any way he can due to his violent dreams and visions.

Pounceleap and Bluestreak are in the background smooching at any given moment. They never left their honeymoon phase and they never will. They have three kits over two litters. The first is Finchwing and the others are Rainkit and Stormkit.

Sparktail is Freezestar's second daughter and mate of Goldfur. She's a very serious person, even considered a bit boring by others. Her mother enjoys finding little ways to get her to drop the facade and get her goat.

Goldfur is the daughter of a very well-respected warrior who was part of a prophecy that never came to pass. As such, she has a bit of a chip on her shoulder and a desperate need to prove herself. She's mates with Sparktail, who balances her out.

Fogfern and Cloudstrike are the siblings of Snowlotus. Fogfern is the more personable of the group and Cloudstrike is an angsty man.

Wildstag is brother to Leafwater, mate to Finchwing, uncle of Fallenpaw, and father of Bloomkit. He and his sister are very Large. They were brought to the clan as itty bitty babies by an unknown party. This causes Wildstag much angst. He's a bit prickly, but is an absolute sweetheart to his family.

Leafwater is mean. She enjoys fighting and being alone. This causes problems with her daughter, Fallenpaw who was more or less raised by her aunt and uncle. Leafwater isn't abusive in any way to Fallenpaw, she's just not suited to be a parent. At all. Fallenpaw's father is unknown.

Finchwing is a ray of sunshine and the first person to get through to Wildstag. She has a good relationship with her son, Bloomkit, and her more-or-less-adopted-daughter-niece, Fallenpaw. She's the clan mediator.

Runningbreeze and Duskhawk are angsty little shits. Their father was the former deputy who died under mysterious circumstances. Freezestar seems uncomfortable around them and they are very suspicious of him. That situation will probably boil over soon.

Brookpaw tries very, very hard to be like her father, Snowlotus. She is very much a daddy's girl. She tries to be calm and reasonable and above-it-all but has a very explosive temper. She gets this from her mother who she's never actually met.

Fallenpaw has a rough relationship with her mother, and tries very hard to impress her. This often means misadventure and dragging her friends, Brookpaw and Swiftpaw, into danger.

Swiftpaw is confident and kind of a klutz. He's in a rebellious phase and is more than happy to go along with whatever it is Fallenpaw wants to do. He's got a natural talent for healing, but is pretty insecure about this.

Rainkit and Stormkit are babies.

Bloomkit is also babie.

I had this planned since Nov. 2021 for someone who provided me with ribbons from the past. All I know from her is that she was born in the year of the Dragon, so I just went with that. She's also Chinese, so that waa additional info. As you can see, there are bleeding hearts, orchids, jasmines, and citrine. I know, it's a terrible citrine OTL. The dragon is based on this chibi dragon of Haku that I found. Zodoac Dragon have gold as their lucky color, so I just added a bit of orange to the fur. I decided to do something different this time and that's the coloring of the border; originally I was thinking of coloring inside, but decided that they might blend too much and the flora would get lost. Story:

Froglight liked to visit the farm. He would walk there and catch prey for the pretty brown she-cat there called Scone. Once, when he was walking around in the copse near the farm, he spotted a strange creature that seemed to be lost.

It was large and strangely coloured, and were four of them as far as he could tell. But he was captivated by one with a black patch of fur on its eye. He later asked Scone, who explained to him that they were "pigs," and would basically eat anything they could.

He was fascinated by them. and started bringing plants and fresh-kill to them.

In a gathering in leaf-bare, he heard from Shinestar that a warrior called Ashpelt had caught one of the pigs. He was furious.

Goldfur mocked him, saying things like “no wonder you love those pigs so much! You are just like them--you roll around in mud and you eat anything!"

Froglight was angry, and he tried to walk away, but Goldfur just. wouldn't. stop!

Froglight was scared and dirty. Goldfur was finally dead, and he dragged his body to the place where the pigs lived without a second thought. He really hoped this would work. He was bruised and his tail was muddy, but he put the body down. And the pigs started eating him.

By Starclan, it really worked!

He splashed into the cold river for a bit and came home sniffling and tired.

At one point, he dragged Ashpelt to the pigs only to notice that Spotty was pregnant and that she and the other one where feasting on the third pig after he had been crushed by a branch. Froglight was kind of worried this meant that they wouldn't eat Ashpelt. But they did.

A couple moons later, he had some kits with Scone. A black-and-brown one called Blackberry, a brown one called Muffin, and a black one he took to Shadowclan and called Shadowkit.

His life was good, and he fed four more cats to the pigs, not noticing they weren't really pigs anymore. They were large and brown and even hungrier than ever before.

One day after he visited Blackberry, Muffin, and Scone, he was walking back to Shadowclan.

The second one pounced on him and kicked so much he almost passed out. As he was bleeding, he saw Spotty, dear Spotty, biting into his wounded chest. He started to cry and whimper, and Spotty stopped and..was he crying, too? As he finally died, all he felt apart from the pain, was spotty licking his forehead.
