surprise! Another angstpril 2023 fic courtesy of @chaos-company's event. Today is day 9 (though the post is a bit late) and the prompt is Devastation. As all the others, this fic is in a Danganronpa v3 postgame continuity, and is in a virtual reality AU.

Today focuses on Gonta and Rantaro! It was a bit of a different vibe, since I've never written these two together before, but it was fun, a nice chance to explore their dynamics. It's pretty light as far as the angst goes, since I decided to take a creative spin on the prompt. Hope you enjoy!
