And even though you're not crazy strong like him and the other members physically. You are very strong mentally. And he looks up to you for that. Having such a big responsibility like yours is not a easy job. And he knows that. Having people rely on you whenever something bad would happen. Having to keep not only yourself calm but everyone around you. He doesn't know how you do it.

So since zoro is more on the quiet side and keeps to himself. He notices when you start becoming distant. Noticing how you are spacing out when people talk to you. How you seem to always be in a daze, stuck in your thoughts. And how you started to isolate yourself in your room. Sometimes even skipping meals. But always saying you're just tired.

How your smile he so dearly loved to see start to fade. He couldn't help but notice that....

This concerned zoro. But when he brought it up to the crew they didn't know what he was talking about and brushed it off. It's not like they don't care. You are just very good at hiding it. Zoro kept a eye on you at all times. Sometimes even falling asleep next to you on purpose so you wouldn't isolate yourself more.

But when it was yalls turn to keep watch one night he had to ask what was going on. Zoro knows he's not the best at comforting people. And that he tends to come off as dense but he truly wants to help you. He cares about your health.

So their you two are sitting beside each other. Waiting for night to pass. In silence. Not a awkward silence but a peaceful, comforting silence. He enjoys spending time with you like this. Sometimes stealing a glance every once in a while.

"Hey y/n can we....talk?"

You quickly pop your head up to look at him. "Of course zoro. I'll happily listen!" you try to say cheerfully but it comes out weak. Zoro takes a deep breath. "Well that's sorta what I wanted to talk about. I know you will listen but.... I want to listen to you this time."

He watches as your breath hitches and your eyes widden. You try to smile but he can still tell it's not the same. "What do you mean? I don't have anything to talk about..." you chuckle. Playing with your hands.

Zoro grabs your hands. Holding them in his. "I know I'm not as good as you at listening but I want to know what's going on y/n. Why are you acting so distant?" he looks up at you. Staring right into your eyes. Desperate for a answer.

You look away. Staring at yalls hands. "I just... I just feel like a nuisance. Like a burden. I'm not strong like you guys. Hell you're probably stronger then me honestly. I mean you're the only person I know that can come up with a plan so quickly. And you're not a nuisance y/n." he trails off rubbing small circles on your hand with his thumb trying to calm you down.

You feel tears swell up in your eyes. "B-But I want to keep y'all safe and what happened last time nearly got y'all badly hurt...if y'all did get hurt I wouldn't be able to protect y'all well cause I'm not strong" you wipe your eyes with you palm.

"You do keep us safe. Your strategies keep us safe. Think about it this way. We keep you safe with physical strength and you keep us safe with mental strength. No one on this crew has both of those things y/n. Not as good as you at least. The only reason we nearly got hurt was cause WE messed up YOUR plan. That wasn't your fault. It was ours for being reckless."

"But what about-"

"Y/n listen! Their is no but. You are the best strategist. You are strong. You are important to this crew. If you think that was bad before then you don't want to know what would of happened if you didn't give us a plan to start with. Cause I can promise I wouldn't be sitting here with you right now if you didn't give us that plan. If you want to get more strong physically I will train you but their is no reason to stress over it."

Zoro grabs your shoulders. "I don't want to see you like this anymore y/n. I miss your smile....."

Because we all know that bug has gone through so much pain and grief, and ateez is there to help her go through it, to help her properly process her emotions and grief all the pain she felt.

But it will never go away, the lingering feeling of her captors' hand when she had tried to follow yunho, the feeling of soojin's hands going limp in hers, the last stroke of daia's hand through her hair, it will never go away, but instead of feeling sad ateez taught her that those memories doesn't need to bring her sadness or pain, it can bring her nostalgia and a strong will to fight for her loved ones.

And that comment also reminds me of bug's and mingi's moment when he told her his back story, like it just sounds something mingi would say to bug.

I do want to write more Ben 10, but it's lower on the priority list. Batman brainrot had me a chokehold for a hot min there, and it just loosened, so I wanna get back on track on my bigger ongoing wip's, like my SUF and Invincible fics, and maybe even a Blue Beetle fic. They're both overdue for an update, and I've been itching to post for a while but just Couldn't from responsibilities, bleh.

If I had my way, I'd update those two fics, and then possibly muse about a oneshot of Albedo and Ben having to spend like 10 hours together, 'cause the enemy/friend dynamic is so yummy to me! Forcig them to interact like Albedo is internally hissing like a wet cat backed into the corner and Ben is just trying to vibe! Hostile, loathing force meet nonchalant, friendly energy, fight. Plus, I really want to write one more comedy-like fic since I've gotten incredibly rusty. As for my already existing Ben 10 wip, I'm quite not sure where to take it? I suppose I've run out of steam for the moment? Again, my more comedic style is incredibly rusty, so while I do have 1k of a draft, it's undoubtedly going to be scrapped and reworked to hell before it's even polished. And that's still lower on the priority list, compared to Invincible and SUF, which I'm still struggling to update.

AND I LOVE DANNY PHANTOM! I've just never had a proper fic idea for the series, admittedly. I'd also need a rewatch to keep in tune with Danny's voice/characterizations. I also read a lot of DP x Anything crossovers, and got really sick of them by proxy. It'll take a bit for me to write anything for it, I suppose? I'd need to reignite a interest!

And oh YAY! It's been a very long time since I thought about that fic, and a lot I make up as I go and try tying back together, kinda like building the railroad while I drive the train, haha. So not sure if I had any hidden lore, especially none I can think of at the top of my head? But, like anything, I can think of some!

a) Inko and Hisashi are still technically married as they never got officially divorced, Inko kinda kicked him out and he's still yearning. He admires her ability to be cut throat, and loathes her strong sense of morals. b) Inko and Hisashi met while Inko was in med school, nearly graduating! She threatened to stick a pen through someone's throat for mocking her, and he was enamored. c) Izuku gets his determination from Inko, not Hisashi. He also gets the ability to burst into tears from her. The quick obsession is all him though. d) Hisashi left when Izuku was just young enough for his parenting to still linger, aka quirk fascination, but still early enough Izuku doesn't quite miss him when he's lived so long without him.

Yagi is ABSOLUTELY having a swell ol' time looking at Izuku succeed from the sidelines. Go, Izuku go! Number one cheerleader in the distance. He would be oblivious to Izuku's slowburn sanity depletion, if not incidentally encouraging by misunderstanding, since I think that's silly. Probably offer some advice Izuku takes in a whole another direction, or comment on Izuku's quirk to be encouraging, which makes Izuku incredibly tight lipped and sweating bullets. Which is to say, completely correct assumption from you, haha!

Izuku has been cackling madly for a solid minute. Unfortunately, chanting someone's name while cackling, does sound like he’s reciting the next person he’s gonna curse to have their toes swapped with their fingers or having their spine crumble like a wad of wet paper towels squeezed into a tiny ball, so Izuku does exhibit one tiny glimmer of self awareness to simply stop doing that. The magic of sleep, he supposes, brings the wonderful gift of self awareness!

He should sleep more. Probably. Maybe. He’ll see. 

And while yes, okay, there is technically literally no one in the house except for him to see him like this, his All Might figure could be judging him! He can’t disappoint them! They’re limited edition. And oh, he should wipe them down soon. Gotta keep them in good condition! Just imagining one of those delicate, glossy figures being cracked and broken just makes Izuku wanna do the same thing to someone’s spine, which is ridiculous!

Ok so, im not gonna do my usual format cause 1. Ik no ones seeing these and 2. I just wanna rant, cause like, i have sm to say ab both the games and the rabbit hole I went down ab the creator.

Ill start w the easy part, the games:

I first discovered them through my 11yr old selfs devotion to DanTDM. I wouldnt really call my feelings for him at the time romantic, more just someone to look up to. Nonetheless, i still diligently watched every single one of his posts. I loved specifically when he did multi-parters as the next instalment gave me something to look forward to when I got home. Riddle School was no different in that respect, just a funny lil game I watched my favourite youtuber play. When the games became more plot focused, i got really invested it them and the aliens storyline. I think I was dreaming about it for about a week after. Then Dan moved to the next series and Riddle School faded into the back of my memory.

Then this week, I was scrolling through my game site and there it was again. It had the same art style and puzzles I remember, though this time I didnt have much of a problem solving them. I worked my way through the series quickly, with each game giving me bits of that old nostalgia. I even remembered the twist ending and the photo album at the end. It just felt really good to connect w an old piece of myself when everything around me is changing so much. I wanted to pay respects to the person who brought this piece of my childhood to life, so i went back through each game and read the endnotes Jon had written. His openness and creativity was really inspiring to read, so I went to youtube to see if I could find what he was working on modern day.

I found that he'd also made that one egg fnaf spoof and a bunch of animations, but his most recent video was ...strange.

You can find it for yourself, i feel like I can't really do it justice rn. It should still be up on his channel.

It left me feeling like I was missing context, so I felt the need to look for it. I ended up watching Chazington's Jonochrome Vs The World, and that was really disappointing. I really don't like the thought that I was in Jon's preferred age range when I first found his work.

Chazington's video laid out the works and controversies really well, with a solid sense of humour and a vulnerable view point from someone who was once a fan themself.

There's not really a point to me writing this, ig go check out Chazington and put your respect in the art, not the artist.

Saw your tags on the post about kids not being computer literate and you saying that kids just don't know how to do something new and I'm a high school music teacher and that is so unbelievably true.

I'll have 30+ kids in a room and each will wait until I'm standing next to them to do anything. They get bored easily and don't know how to just play around, they need their hand held constantly. It makes it so so difficult to teach when I'm constantly running around and each kid wants me to only pay attention to them!

I've tried to show them how to compose and give them instructions and they're still so lost all the time. They all just seem kind of dead inside, not really caring what happens around them.

I don't mean to insult these kids, more just say that I totally understand what you're saying. Everyone is seeing it now. Most kids were never taught to care it seems, they just passively move through their own lives. And then they tell me that they're bored and I'm pointing to all the options they have of things to explore and learn and they just never want to try any of it. It's so so frustrating.

its absolutely insane how much kids seemingly just cant care. ill stand by the statement that last years high school seniors were the last class where the vast majority made it out of covid online school mostly ok. high school seniors rn missed freshman year and the rest missed a year of middle school which we're seeing very obviously affecting everything abt them rn. a lot of kids straight up don't know what a passing period is, social skills have been super stunted cause they were spending middle school isolated and on tiktok, and yeah, no one knows how to care.

cause theyve not rlly been given a reason to, you know? they were thrown into what easily felt like to end of the world when they were too young to do anything abt it and too young to properly understand it. all while they don't get the routine of going to school, they cant do the extracurriculars they like, they're not allowed to hang out with their friends. Some of the most important years for a lot of development were spent being told nothing but all the horrible things going on in the world. "if everything is this awful and there's nothing (I'm able) to do about it why does any of this matter" sorta thing.

and they dont have the skills needed to deal with that. then they also don't have a lot of the skills needed to be a functional student so they're struggling there too - not necessarily with their grades, but I think you know what I mean. freshman year is when you learn to be a high schooler in both the academic/going between classes sense and in the social sense and middle school is when you learn to be like, a person. without that you get a bunch of high schoolers acting like middle or even elementary schoolers with a high schooler's knowledge of everything that's awful and they still don't have the ability to do anything abt it.

they dont see a reason to care and they don't know how to just try things cause they didn't have the space to just try things for a while. online they were given their assignments and that was it. extracurriculars that continued online didn't help either - like, online theater was so focused on "can we get this done" that there wasn't a whole lot of space for the actors to try and properly act beyond say the words and putting a little bit of something into it - and a lot of those extracurriculars that did continue online couldn't always include all of the kids who would be a part of them normally - again, theater, you couldn't have any kids doing tech beyond maybe an AD and/or SM. like shit dude, if I was in their position id feel fucked!

and its definitely easier to notice with younger kids. they have a worse version of the stunted social skills. the only way I can describe it is that these kids are spoiled. not necessarily spoiled in the traditional sense but for a while their world consisted of online school, most likely being put in front of an iPad cause their parents had to work or take care of the house or were just too tired themselves (and some were just bad parents, and oh boy can you tell when a kid is an iPad iPad kid), and then being the only or one of the only things for their parents to pay attention to. If they have siblings its still only a few ppl to split attention between and if the sibling(s) is older then they could have still gotten the majority of the attention, and if they're an only child then they were seemingly the center of the world for a while to them.

so a lot of them dont know how to share attention and they don't know how to not be told exactly what to do. they don't know how to have fun if they're not told how to (unless its like, roblox, not even Minecraft a lot of them don't know how to play Minecraft!) working summer camp, I had so much trouble getting kids to be engaged in stuff that they liked. the kids who signed up for theater classes cause they like theater barely wanted to do theater. the only classes I didn't struggle to get them engaged with was the art classes that everyone wanted to sign up for, photography (it was mostly older kids and more importantly I think, using ipads), and oddly enough the asl class (I think because that one was so specific compared to the other classes that it rlly was only kids who were interested, and I think kids find sign language cool in general. like "wow I can talk with my hands!" or "oh cool we heard abt this in that one book we read!" sorta thing).

im sure you know this, and idk how coherent this ramble is. ive just been thinking abt this for a while cause of just how insane it is to me. cause from what I've seen these kids arent rlly learning all those skills they missed out on. they're just gone.

He has a very awful life, yet he still tries to continue. He may not handle it the best but you cant always ask sm to do that, he has a positive outlook on life that everyone always tries to shoot down but he always keeps it. But, when he kept comparing Nexus to old moon, thats when his reputation slips for me. He would constantly talk about how much he missed moon and how Nexus isnt moon when Nexus was still a learning and growing animatronic, it is likely that that is one of the reasons Nexus snapped. He did respect boundaries thought, so he gets a higher than 5/10 score

He hasn’t changed completely, nexus before going evil was a much better brother which would have helped sun heal faster. He may have gotten rid of physical abuse, but the emotional abuse and many others still stay. I am very happy with him telling the truth, it is wonderful to see him change in that aspect. He is very smart, as many have seen, but has a realistic outlook on life. It is a very good outlook to have, but it causes darker and more depressing thoughts which will make others think them as well. He may have gone through alot but he also has to remember everyonehandles experiences differently and even if someone else went through the exact same stuff they wouldnt come out the same.

Eclipse 7/10:

A very, very biased opinion. But, he isnt a narcissist. He was trapped his entire life, looked down upon and told he was something that should eitheir be dead or trapped. When he got his chance to break free, of course he wanted control. He felt like he deserved it for what he had to go through. He doesnt have an ego, he is all bark with a few quick but painful bites. He knows he cant do more than that, he wont try. Heknows when he is out matched but he will continue to act like he isnt. It is a tactic i use myself which has gotten me several wins before, i wont go into detail though. Right now, he has started healing slowly, its wonderful to see the start. He has manythings to work on, i will not lie. But his reactions before and even now are justified for how his code was shaped and how he was treated.

Bloodmoon 7/10:

Same thing as eclipse, yet he didnt start healing. He didn’t want to see he was wrong, he was told he was wrong to many times before to admit it. It would have broken him, he chose death with the other half of his soul rather than breaking his last reason for both souls for loving life.

Lunar 5/10:

Lunar: So the mod wanted me to rate the Main Characters of TSAMS. So that's what ill be doing. Disclaimer these reviews will be biased as its my opinion on them. Im rating off of looks and personality.

Sun: 7/10

Lunar: A kind, sweet fella who has been through so much yet still manages to keep a mostly positive outlook. That's something i gotta give him credits for, his design is mostly bland ill give him a 7/10

Moon: 7/10 @the-old-moondrop

Lunar: A smart and respectable animatronic. He has also been through a lot and he likes helping his family, he is not afraid to say the truth even if it hurts. Although he may have not been the best person in the past he has changed and he does not expect Sun to forgive him. His design is more interesting than Sun's but ill give him the same rating as his brother, a 7/10

Eclipse: 7.5/10 @aftonparttwo

Lunar: He is smart and manipulative, although he blew up his brother and caused trauma to many, he has recently been less evil as he used to be but he still can be annoying. His design is interesting so 7.5/10

Bloodmoon: 4/10

Lunar: @escapetheslaughter dont get mad at me for this rating dad. Their character is interesting but he is stubborn and pushes people away, he has literally killed innocent children and families, he's probably killed thousands. He is a ruthless killer and is very blunt. His first design was mildly interesting, his second design in my opinion suited his behavior more. You can easily tell he is a sick twisted animatronic. I will give him a 4/10

Ruin: 10/10 @sillytwofaceboi @ruin-loves-tea

Lunar: A very intellgent and a master manipulator, he knows how to play an act well. He is a patient and calm fella, he was a great "villian" in my opinion. I would say Ruin is more of an anti-hero rather than a villian. His design is also very good, i love how he has red eyes and arm sleeves on one side and blue on the other, it suits his 2 faced personality. He gets a 10/10

Jack-o-Moon: 9.5/10 @gremlininthedark

Lunar: He has a good heart but is also very blunt he doesnt sugarcoat and he protects the ones he loves, i gotta respect that. I do love his halloween - esquie design it really suits him. He gets a 9.5

Earth: 7/10

Lunar: She is a sweetheart and cares about her family, it is tragic to see what shes been through and the fact that her father is an evil being. Her design is pretty. She gets a 7/10

Lunar: He is a pure evil bastard. His design is also bland. -infinity/10.

Killcode Moon: 9/10

Lunar: He definitely had the biggest redemption arc, he went from a murderer to an actually kind being. He is like that 1 grandpa who is a sweetheart. Design wise pretty good. 9/10

Dark Sun: 4.5/10 @dark-sundrop

Lunar: Also a master manipulator and incredibly smart lad. He is definitely the most threatening villian in the show so far. His character is unique and he is rather charasmatic. His design is boring. He gets a 4.5/10

Nexus: 5/10 @insane-nexus

Lunar: His villian arc felt rushed in my opinion, his personality- hes a piece of shit. Design wise, very goofy looking but him in the thumbnails it is interesting, i like the mouth. He gets a 5/10

Solar: 9.5/10 @solar-the-mechanic

Lunar: The nice Eclipse, I do not have to say much abt him. He is a good soul and did not deserve what hes been through. I can see why he is so loved. His design is also loveable. He gets a 9.5/10

Also, I could swear it was said that Pride’s wife and her sisters’s hearts were torn from their chests.That’s why we all thought of them being the twins.So why the inconsistency?I’m pretty sure Kerri just changed her mind or forgot mentioning that.

Alsooo…I could also swear Claudia lost her mind in the first book.How come she’s fine and well outta nowhere?Not that I’m unhappy about it.I love her.She’s a sweetheart.I love both her and Vittoria way more than Pride,but strangely I kinda like him too,not sure why.And the irony of them being besties while everyone was trying to keep them apart isn’t lost on me.

Pride definitely fucked up big time, and I do definitely think he and Vittoria do have some unresolved feelings for each other, which is what makes this triangle a hot mess, I suppose? Like, the only thing that could make this even more unhinged, is if Vittoria and Lucia/Claudia also end up attracted to each other ajfhajbfjangnang (okay but listen, they were friends as "mortals". They did dates and everything. Is it really such a stretch to thing Claudia and Vittoria kissed at some point? Is it? Hmm? 👀)

"hell's version of Italy and not actual Italy" is sending me kahfjajgkabgja I would be so sour if I was Lucia lol. Though I think it's keep her protected with the shadow/star witches (I think that's what they're called?), and also because the Shifting Isles are never stagnant, I believe there was something about how they exist in multiple intersections of time and space simultaneously? so I think it would be way harder to find someone in there than in the real, mortal-world Italy.

Okay, I don't remember this well, so correct me if I'm wrong. But I think the part about pride's wife and her sister having their hearts torn was in the Wrath POV bonus chapter? And that was, I believe, one of the initial crafts that Kerri Maniscalco was writing. So there are lots of things in those chapters that don't match with the book we got. I think they're meant more as some fun add-ons to read, rather than missing parts of the books we got.

And about Claudia losing her mind..... I'm pretty sure that was one of the witches, right? Like, even with Sofia Santorini, it was Nonna Maria who made her go mad, rather than her actually going insane. So they probably did something similar to Claudia ti get her away from scrying (because then she'd start remembering), and then fixed her, because well. You can't fuck up you boss' daughter like that permanently when she entrusted you to care for her. 💀💀💀

YES, them being besties even when they were always meant to be apart? Look what happens when there's no man to be fighting over. 🤌🤌

Oh yeah, Vittoria is interesting to read about, yes. But my gripe with her character is more like.... she's not exactly morally gray for most of her arc. She keeps switching between being absolutely diabolical, to being shown as an all-in-all good person. And that's more of a writing inconsistency. Like, I like the unhingedness, but I would really appreciate if we can decide what role her character is going to have in the story, you know? Because right now it seems like she is being swinged to play whatever part suits the point the story of the other characters is at, as opposed to having her own role and arc. So perhaps with more development, I'd appreciate her character more.

Like there were 4 i rly cared about n i need to revamp all of them cause its been a while since ive drawn them but to kinda go through the list there was:

Jamie

He/Him, mid 20 something (i dont rember lol)

Hes a short hot headed jerk who used to be super super based off of me (less so now but the connections are still there)

He has these really cool fire abilities that are vaguely avatar fire bender like that develop with him and his character. Like when hes younger hes not able to use his own abilities without injuring himself so hes got burn scars on the palms of his hands and a little ways up his arms. But as he grows he learns better control and eventually can use them without hurting himself at all (though if his not carful he can definitely still get burned.)

Kai

He/him, mid to late 20s

Hes a big laidback golden retriever type guy who in general was just along for the ride of whatever was happening with everyone else. He was Jamie’s bf so u know the calm and collected to his insane fire guy shenanigans.

He was the government mandated werewolf’s oc and i love love love him sm, he had a couple of younger brothers too if I remember correctly.

May (or Ray I actually cant remember but tbh i dont think it matters rn)

She/They, early 20s

Jamie’s younger sister, has a bit of his headstrong attitude but shes more laidback than him. They are a lot more personable then him which makes her seem more bubbly and happy.

I donnnt remember if they had any abilities?? Tbh i think it would be cool if she was like the ice to jamies fire, but thats a thought for later me

And lastly,

Connie (name is very subject to change)

She/her, mid 20s

Shes more of a stricter leader type character, even if she doesnt actually lead anyone,, shes got like garnet (steven universe) vibes im my mind.

Her abilities had something to do with light beams/ laser type attacks, something something powers are fueled by the sun, if shes not seen sunlight for a while her powers become weaker until shes unable to use them till she can recharge in the sunlight again.

Theres more characters in universe but they are like the main 4 and were the most fleshed out back then

Their universe has always been like a twilight (like the book/movies w werewolves n vampire) type shtick u know? Dark and gritty type atmosphere but with characters who are more upbeat. (like everyone except jamie)

N u know idk i might draw all of them again at some point soon cause its been probably a year since the last time i draw jamie,, and the rest of them its been like at least 3 or more
