It’s a damn shame GoGoV has such shit going against it because the suits, mechs, and gear are some of my favorites in Sentai overall. People can talk shit on Power Rangers but we oughta count our blessings that Lightspeed Rescue exists to make use of all this dope ass shit.

The 1990s saw to it that Sentai went more diverse in its storytellings, avenues, and with the changes in cultural conscience of our new digital age. So, after 2 back to back entries that had underwhelmed me to degrees and didn't scratch me in a satisfying way I finally found the attachment I so rightfully deserved. KyuuKyuu Sentai GoGoFive asks the question: "what if we paid tributes to the Robot Romance that got Sentai to where it is now in the first place?" and so it was done, and boy was it done superbly. GoGoFive is fantastic, preparing a well-cooked meal with delicious appetizers and sides that leave the body feel all warm and fuzzy within. Written superbly, directed superbly, and I love it so so dearly. From the special effects sequences reaching their peak before Abaranger of 2003, to the character writing reaching such heights I wish more Sentai had. What is there to say for me honestly? Go watch it!
