Hi, a ghost reader here, I've rarely commented on any novels or reposted them, but girl, your story is one of the best I've ever read!!!! I've been looking at your tumblr and Ao3 profile everyday and see if you've updated or not.

I started reading your story in chapter 5 and since then I've followed every day you've updated, you really write in a wonderful way and you transmit all the emotions in a unique way, when Inho and the reader (aka our girl) had that conversation during the watch I was all the time kicking my feet and laughing as if I was living it, or later when Inho started to be more affectionate with her and took every little opportunity to touch her GIRL I WAS LIVING IT AND ENJOYING IT.

You've managed to make me feel every emotion on the edge of my seat, I've never been so tense for the last two chapters.

There was a moment where I wanted to scold the reader because it made me nervous and I just wanted her to be safe, I didn't know what would happen when she meets the Frontman, BUT EVERYTHING WENT SO WONDERFUL, the way he looked down from above, the silence, how he sacrificed himself for Gi-hun and the Frontman's surprise, the way he said the flower phrase and how he killed the guy who shot her just for disobeying him and hurting our girl, my god, your novel has made my brain chemistry happy 😭.

And in the last two chapters, godsssssss when Inho said "she wants to play hide and seek, let's do it" I just wanted to scream, of course he knows where she is, (I've wondered if he's seen the cameras or he's just letting her play in his big house) I want to see what he will do when they meet, I know it will hurt the reader, but I just want a reunion, some words to give each other, or those looks full of warmth and intensity, some kiss or caress, I'm desperate for the bare minimum, for crumbs and will wait as long as it takes for an update, so don't worry about the amount of words, rest assured we will always enjoy everything you write!

Sorry if this is all messy, but I'm just writing everything that comes to mind!

I also love how you introduced the main character, the relationship she forged with everyone, the way she expresses herself, the shades of grey in her personality, the way she doesn't show that she's too innocent or too bad, how she doubts her intentions and how she has carried them out, and the genuine desire to get back with her sister (as an older sister I felt represented, I would do anything for my little sister).

I don't think I have more to say (for now) but I adore you and I'm sorry for the messy or maybe bad writing, English is not my first language and I find it hard to translate some things!

I'm so glad, upon reading your feedback, that my story does not bore you. I know this story is a slow burn and some readers would find many moments in this book boring because they either already watched it in Squid Game or deem those moments unimportant. I know there are readers that skip certain moments (it's their preference and that's fine) and they just want to read the In-ho/Young-il moments, so I kept trying to rack my brain thinking of scenarios to pull those readers to read everything. In the end, I published the chapters with open heart and just hope for the best. So upon reading your comment, I know you're one of those precious readers who really read through everything and enjoy them.
