sorry the lighting is kinda shit for most of them; for the first three the overhead light is right OVERHEAD of me and there was no good way to have no shadow & for the last three i didn’t want to turn the light on again because my roommate was sleeping so i opened google docs on my computer and used that for light; erica was the only one with a natural light source because i did that between my classes 💀

i plan to (hopefully) clean these up & digitalize them at some point; add colors and whatnot and use them for easy speedpaint content (once i finish the ndy headshots once i finish these tattoo commissions for my sister 💀). might do this for the supporting protagonists/characters/allies next! but idk dont make me make promises.

i always forget just how much drawing the blorbos saves me. my silly little gay bitches i love them.

This is something that's got stuck in my mind, so I'd just like to ask how would Duri feel about MC getting a tattoo representative of them (maybe a stylised wolf, maybe whatever their godsign (if that's a thing I'm baselessly abstracting from MC's cursemark) or maybe a pawmark ;) somewhere) just like the idea of my uninked MC doing that to a romanced Duri with their commitment anxiety in a relationship is sending sparks.

AWE! That is terribly sweet!

Duri would be giddy as hell, lol, at first. They'd get all excited, be super flattered, and then when MC is actually getting it, they may freak out a little. The reality that it is very much permanent and is associated with them will give them...paws...(you're welcome).

Duri doesn't have a godsign, most full gods did though, and some demigods had a sort of banner-type thing if they were popular or particularly powerful. Duri never really got a chance to develop any kind of following, though they likely wouldn't have (too much like their dad).

After MC had their Duri-themed tattoo, they would be very moved. To be etched on one's heart and flesh is something surreal to them, and they would really cherish it. 🐾

There Sjoni stands, tall and lovely, resolute in her refusal to move.

“He means nothing to me, Rissa,” she says, “I promise you that.

Fenrissa scoffs. “You know I don’t believe you. Just tell me. Please.”

Sjoni sighs. Fenrissa has always been just a touch more stubborn than she is, and that is saying something. “Very well. He’s... an old friend. From before the fire, when I still lived in Last-Man-Standing. We were close. He promised to marry me when we were... ten, perhaps? I cannot remember now, it’s been so long. But then came the fire. Half the town burned, and Sorunn did nothing. He never came for me. He says now that he thought me dead for all these years, and has mourned my passing every day since, but I do not believe him. He meant something to me once, yes, but that died in the fire with all my kin. I do not want him, nor do I need him. The pretty promises of lords will do nothing to sway me. I stand with you--with us.”

The feathers are exact opposites! One small, mostly white with some black on the bottom. One large, mostly black with some white on bottom. DOES THAT MEAN ANYTHING? I DONT UNDERSTAND. WHO? The Trial of Lords // Characters: Fenrissa Orphan-Bone

It’s not a test of purity--it’s a test of conviction. Tova Iron-Mantle’s intentions are not pure. He only wishes to prove that he is better than his brothers and fit to succeed his lord father’s throne, even though his father never wanted him to rule. And yet, Tova passed through the ring of flame unharmed, not because the Saints deem him worthy, but because he deems himself worthy.

Is Fenrissa pure? Nowhere close. If the Lordstrial’s test was truly meant to measure one’s sins, she never would have entered. But the question is not about the Gods or the Saints--it is about whether or not Fenrissa herself believes in her own intentions.

And she does believe. She may intend to become the Takkvin and kill Anavise Throne-Maker, but she believes in that cause more than even the most fervent priest believes the Gods will someday return. Fenrissa has one reason to live, and one reason alone. Anavise Throne-Maker must die.

“I have nothing to confess,” Fenrissa says. She then steps into the flame.

Unlike so many others, she does not die. Just as she expected.
