Exchange student part 2
Eddie x fem!reader
Pt.1
Summary: Eddie and European exchange student spend some more time together… alone.
Authors note: low key thought nobody would care about part 1 but here’s a part 2✨
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The end of class couldn’t come sooner. After lunch was over Eddie had walked you to your next class and promised to wait for you after before he’d winked and walked away. You told yourself you wouldn’t let it get to you too much though. You were the new shiny toy that everyone was curious about. Besides, a guy that looked so good and was so kind must have a girlfriend already. But what if…? You could see the attraction and you would be lying if you said you didn’t feel a tingle when you observed the clock and saw the time closing in. But you were only here for a year. No, now you’re getting ahead of yourself. You subtly shake your head as to shake away the crazy thoughts of actually having a crush on your first day.
Before you could even figure out your mind the bell rang and the school day was over. You wanted to rush and be first out the door but had decided to keep yourself contained. You packed your books and pens and when you walked out the door he was standing outside, leaning against the lockers. How could he already be here? His class just finished too right?
“Hi,” he said and pushed his back from the lockers and meeting up with you. “Long time no see.” He grinned and took the books from your hands.
“Sure is,” you smiled back at him. “Oh, you don’t have to, I can carry them myself.”
“Pfft, don’t worry about it princess. Think of it as the American way. You wanted to experience that right?” He nudged your shoulder playfully and walked beside you to your locker. Those brown eyes were sparkling in the fluorescent lights and you almost couldn’t stop looking into them. But you catches yourself staring and cleared your throat to diffuse any tension.
“Thank you, Eddie” you said and opened your locker and watched him place your books inside before closing it.
“So, you ready for your tour? It’s not much to see but at least you get to see more than the inside of this dump,” he said and gestured to the hallway.
“I’m looking forward to it,” you replied. “So where do we begin?”
“We’ll start with a nice tour of the parking lot to my van,” he said and turned to walk away. He then turned back to you with big eyes. “I mean, like, not in a creepy way. God, that sounded wrong.”
“Wow, Eddie” you said with a smirk. “I was at least expecting a dinner first.” You watched his eyes go from slightly panicked to mischievous.
“You’re on,” he smirked and wiggled his eyebrows. You both laughed and began walking together to the parking lot.
When you got to his van he opened the passenger door with a deep bow. “Your carriage awaits, princess”.
“You know, not that I’m complaining, but you don’t need to call me princess,” you chuckled and got on the van. He closed the door and walked around to get on the driver’s seat.
“I know,” he looked at you before closing the door. “But if you don’t like it I’ll stop, sweetheart”. The new nickname made you blush and you looked away and fastened you seatbelt to not embarrass yourself.
“So…” you said to distract him from looking at your rosy cheeks. “What do I call you then?”
He smiled at you and his dimples looked magical in the afternoon sun in the middle of the empty parking lot. “Whatever you like, as long as I’m in your mouth”. He deadpanned his head in his hands and groaned. “God, wow, I’m sorry. I don’t know what’s wrong with me!”
“Don’t worry,” you chuckled. “I’ve heard worse. Honestly, I was beginning to worry Americans had no humor”. He laughed with you and started the car.
“So, you have dirty humor then?” He asked as he drove away from the school.
“Yeah, I mean what fun is life without it?” You replied.
“Good,” he said quietly, almost to himself.
After almost an hour of driving around, showing you places and listening to his music you had seen almost all of Hawkins.
“Well, I think that’s it,” he lowered the volume slightly. “There’s not really much to see.”
Your gut sank with the realization that your quality time with Eddie was coming to an end. “Yeah, it’s quite nice.” You said with a low voice.
“Unless,” he dragged out the word.
“Unless…?”
“No, maybe you have curfew. I shouldn’t get you I trouble,” he said.
“I could get in trouble for you,” he looked at you with a warm smile. “What did you have in mind?”
“… you smoke?” He hesitated as if he had said something forbidden.
“Cigarettes or weed?” You asked. “Because both, occasionally”
He visibly relaxed. “Whatever you like,” he smiled. “I have both, my uncle’s not home”
“Shall we then?” You asked.
“We shall,” he replied and turned left down a road.
Entering the trailer that was his home he began picking up the clutter and throwing away some candy wrappers. “Sorry for the mess,” he said.
“Oh, don’t worry about it. It’s looks homey,” you said and looked around.
He showed you the way to his room and closed the door behind you as you looked around at the clutter and clothes on the floor. He then took a small container and started rolling up a joint before lighting it and taking a drag. He passed it to you and you took a hit and sat down on the end of the bed.
After sharing a joint you laid on the bed across from each other, your feet by his head and his on the bed frame being taller than you.
“What I don’t understand,” you said, thinking out loud. He hummed for you to continue. “Why do you guys have your shoes on indoors?”
He chuckled. “That’s what you’re thinking about?”
“Yes! I mean don’t you have a…” you stopped.
“A…?” He asked.
You stayed quiet. He sat up and saw you deep in thought, just staring up at the ceiling. “God, you’re so pretty” was all he could think.
“A… you know… that thing,” you continued.
“Oh, yes, of course,” he said sarcastically. “That thing!”
You laughed and looked up at his face. “No, but that thing that you put your shoes on the you come home,” you gestured your hands in the form of a rectangle.
“A shoe shelf?” He laughed.
“YES!” You said and shot up in bed. What you didn’t see coming was how close your faces were when you sat up. The smile on your face slowly dropped as you looked deep in those brown orbs that were staring back at yours.
“I know what I should call you,” you almost whispered.
“And what’s that?” He asked and peaked down at your lips before meeting your eyes again.
“If I’m a princess,” you began. “Then you’re the brave knight”
Slowly he leaned in closer. “Yes..” you said quietly. To yourself and to him, accepting the question hanging in the air. And carefully your lips met in the middle.
Exchange student
Eddie Munson x fem!reader
Summary: You’re an exchange student from Europe and the cool kids want you to hang with them but you prefer the company of the “freaks”
Pt.2
(Y/C)=your country, (y/l)=your language, wanted it to be more general than just insert my own nationality etc.
Hope you enjoy!
Authors note: So I’m back with writing random fics apparently?? I don’t know the accuracy of all this so I apologize if it’s not really like this in real life. Also, this one’s for my non-English speaking European babes. If you can’t take jokes on americas expense; this ain’t for you, sorry. It’s all light hearted banter from your neighbors in the other side of the pond don’t take it too seriously ✨
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You had taken the offer to be an exchange student in the US for a year, kind of hoping you’d spend a year in New York or LA but realizing you’re going to little Hawkins Indiana made you question your decision if you’re being honest. But it was still an experience that you would cherish, you thought to yourself as you walked through the doors and entered Hawkins high your first day. Everyone knew about the exchange program and all eyes were on you when you walked the halls to find your locker. The school had set you up with a guide for your first day, a kind looking cheerleader named Chrissy.
“So this is it! Here’s your lock combination.” She said happily and gave you a small note with a few numbers on it. You have her a thank-you-smile and opened your locker to find all the necessary books already there and waiting for you.
“So you’ll be in the seniors class and we’ve got history for our first period.” She continued and showed you which books you needed. “You can sit next to me if you want or feel free to get to know people as you want” she gave you such a warm and kind energy that you couldn’t help but feel welcomed.
“So the new kid’s here.” You heard a voice from behind you and turned to see a blond guy walk up to you and stand next to Chrissy and she reached up to kiss his cheek. “I’m Jason, pleasure to meet an outsider!” he extended a hand for you to shake. You took his hand and shook it while Chrissy explained his Jason was her boyfriend and was on the basketball team.
“So, you’re from Europe?” He said and smiled. It was a less friendly and warm smile than Chrissy had given you, the energy around him was screaming “typical American cool kid”.
“Yes, (y/c) to be more exact.”
“Yeah, whatever, Europe. So can you tell me something in (y/l)?” He dismissed your correction and just kept going.
“Um.. sure? [I don’t know what to say to you when you’re putting me on the spot like this why this is even something people ask is beyond me (in your language)].” You said and faked a pleasant smile.
“Wow, what’s that mean?” He asked.
“Oh just that I’m ready for class.” You faked a smile, getting a bad vibe from Jason and started picking the books from your locker.
“Right, we should go. I’ll see you at lunch!” Chrissy chimed in and gave Jason another peck on the cheek and walked you to the classroom.
History was… not what you were expecting with it just being American history with no regard to other countries during the same time era. Maybe they’ll talk about some other nation’s history next lesson, you thought. The next period was math with was okay, math is math and doesn’t really change. Then it was time for lunch. You stood in line for food in the cafeteria with Chrissy and looked around at the different groups of people that were seated at every table. It really was the typical cliques that you’ve seen in the movies. As you looked you noticed a table with all boys dressed in the same shirt, a white shirt with black sleeves and some sort of print on the front that you couldn’t see probably at this distance. What you did see was the guy at the head of the table looking back at you. You knew people would take notice of the new kid and thought nothing of it, giving him a smile and a greeting nod. He smiled and waved a small wave. He was good-looking, you couldn’t deny that but just from that small interaction you felt that kind energy you had felt from Chrissy this morning.
You got your food as Chrissy waited for you and she turned around to walk the other way from the nice, long haired guy that had waved at you.
“Hey, I think I’ll just sit over there and make some more friends.” You said and nodded your head in the other direction.
“Oh, sure! Just come find me if you need a chaperone to your next class.” She smiled and walked away to sit with Jason and some other jocks and cheerleaders.
You walked up to the guys’ table and realized maybe he was just being nice and not actually wanted you to sit there. “Fuck” you thought and was just about to turn around when the long haired guy stood up.
“Well, welcome to Hawkins m’lady!” he said and gestured you to walk past him. You chuckled and did a small curtsy.
“Why thank you, kind sir.” His smile grew wider at how you got along with his banter. “May I accompany you gentlemen for lunch perhaps?” You continued.
He looked shocked for a moment before pushing the tray of the younger boy seated at the table. “Of course you may, princess.” He said and took the tray from your hands to put it down where he had made space on the table. You blushed at the name and sat down.
“I’m sorry if I’m intruding I just… well I don’t know anybody yet and you guys seemed like interesting people.” You excused yourself.
“You’re definitely not intruding, just thought you’d sit with the cheerleaders seeing as you’ve been with Carver’s girlfriend all day.” He said and sat down as well.
“Yes, well I like meeting new people. Hence why I’m on this side of the ocean.” you chuckled. “I’m y/n by the way.”
“Eddie.” He said and then gestured to the others. “This is Gareth, Jeff, Mike and Dustin.”
You greeted everyone of the guys with a smile and a nod. A few hello’s and other greetings were exchanged before the table returned to the topic they were talking about before you arrived. But not Eddie, he kept looking at you.
“So, you’re from…?”
“(Y/C).” You filled in.
He hummed in response. “So how are you liking America so far?” He asked as he ate some of the food of his plate.
“It’s okay.” You replied. “It’s not quite what I was expecting but so far so good.”
“What were you expecting? An eagle flying around and people wearing “I Love America”-shirts?” He asked ironically and you laughed.
“Not really. On the other hand, this kind of is stereotypical American so maybe my expectations are met.” He smiled and shrugged his shoulders and leaned back on his chair. His smile dropped and was replaced by an annoyed look. You turned to look where he was looking and saw Jason approaching the table.
“Y/n, I understand that it’s a little confusing to you but you’re not supposed to sit with the freaks.” he said.
“Well, Jason, I am not confused and I’m completely fine sitting here. As you said earlier, I’m an outsider so it’s really fitting for me to sit here isn’t it? You can go back to your cool table now, bye!” You tilted your head and gave an obvious fake smile. Eddie watched you and with a small smirk. Jason huffed and muttered something under his breath.
“What was that?” You asked.
“I said” Jason took a step forward. “European bitch.” and smiled cockily.
“Hey, fuck off Carver!” Eddie spoke and pushed back his chair to stand up. You put a hand on his shoulder and pushed him back down. “Ouch, you kiss your girlfriend with that mouth?” You said and stood up behind Eddie to keep him seated. “I may be a bitch, but at least I’m a not a walking stereotype.” You kept on smiling as you spoke.
“You need her to defend you freaks?” Jason realized he wasn’t getting to you like he always gets to others and changed his focus on Eddie. “What? The freak got a little girlfriend?”
Eddie pushed to stand up but again you pushed him down. “You got a problem with that?” You asked and bent down to wrap your arms around Eddie’s shoulder from behind. He slightly tensed up but didn’t stop you. In all honesty his heart was beating like crazy. “Don’t be jealous Jason, go back to your own girlfriend.”
Jason huffed and walked away.
“Oh, I’m sorry if I made you uncomfortable.” You realized your arms were still around him and let him go and sat down.
Eddie looked at you with big eyes. “No! Um.. no, it’s fine.” He said as his heart rate was coming back down to normal. He then smirked again. “You’re something else, huh?”
You chuckled. “What can I say? I’m a European bitch apparently.”
“Hey, you wanna see more of Hawkins after school? I’ll give you a tour if you’d like” he said and didn’t drop eye contact.
“I’d love that.” you smile.
“I’ll meet you after class then, princess.”

It's Not Gonna Fit
Relationship | Loki x plus size reader
Word Count | 1,067 words
Warnings | soft Loki, fluff, conversation about body image and insecurities
Notes | I saw a TikTok about this subject and related to it a lot. So I thought I’d write something about it. Remember you are all beautiful gems, at any size. <3
The cold wind blows past us, the burn of icicles moving through my thin clothes like holes in swiss cheese. teeth chattering, i hug my cardigan tighter, desperate for some kind of warmth. I try to keep it together, knowing how worried Loki can become about me. But unfortunately, the way my body shivers doesn't go unnoticed. Loki stops in his tracks, worry etched onto his features.
Fuck.
"Are you cold?" My body becomes rigid at his words, knowing the exact kind of trouble I’m about to be in.
"No, let's keep walking. I'm fine."
I barely make it two steps before Loki’s pulling me back towards him. Face to face, green eyes flicker back and forth over my features, almost like he’s psychoanalyzing me. His judgmental gaze makes me cower in fear.
“C’mon. We’re going back to car.” Loki grabs my hand and pulls me along, giving no opportunity to process. I need to think of something, fast.
“Loki I promise, I’m fine. It’s really nothing, just a strong wind.”
Loki stops abruptly in the middle of the icy parking lot, causing me to nearly fall into him. He turns around to face me, eyes blazing with anger and stance rigid. Oh he’s mad.
“Look around y/n! It’s like -5 °C(23 °F) and the roads look like something straight out of Jotunheim. And don’t tell me you’re fine, that’s bullshit! Darling, you were shaking like a leaf!” I don’t respond, knowing how right he is.
Satisfied with my lack of argument, he sighs in delight, blowing out a puff of white breath amidst the freezing air. He grabs my hand again, resuming our journey back to his car.
“Why are we going back anyways?”
“To get you a bloody sweater so my girlfriend doesn’t freeze half to death. That alright with you?”
My blood runs cold at his mention of a sweater, kicking my desperation into overdrive. I begin to tug my arm from his grasp, hoping he’ll get annoyed enough to stop and turn around. But he only holds onto me tighter.
“Why are you being so bratty anyways? Do you want to freeze? Is that what you desire?”
I mumble just under my breath, “it’s not gonna fit.” It’s just low enough that it’s barely comprehensible. But, he stops dead in his tracks at my response. Of course he heard me, he’s a fucking god. He probably has supersonic hearing or something.
“What did you just say?” He turns around, giving me a look as though I just stabbed him in the heart.
“Nothing. I said nothing.”
“No love, I heard what you said. I just wanna know if you’re willing to repeat it.”
“Loki, never mind. Don’t worry about it, let’s just go. We’re already late as is.”
“I don’t give a shit if we’re late, what are you on about?,” he spits.
I stand there, silent and slightly embarrassed.
“What do you mean it’s not gonna fit?”
I give him a look. There’s no way he’s this stupid. I’ve seen him learn and explain quantum physics in a single afternoon.
“Loki, don’t be stupid. You know what I mean.” I make another attempt to turn around, but he stops me all the same.
“No, I don’t.” Tears begin to prickle in my eyes, frustrated and annoyed with my boyfriend.
“Loki. Are you fucking kidding me? Are you blind?—” I motion between our bodies, before continuing my assault. “—We literally walk around together like the fucking number 10, and you have the audacity to ask why I’m worried about your sweatshirt fitting?”
Loki seems taken aback my words, stepping back a little as though our close distance is too much. Does he really not know? Or does he just pretend not to notice. Either way, that hurts.
“Will you just humor me for two seconds?”
“And why would I do that? I know it’s not gonna fit.”
“You’re stubborn you know that? Extremely, painfully stubborn.”
“You knew that when you met me. So what? That doesn’t change how I’m not trying on the sweater. Now will you please let us go? I’m sure Thor, Jane, Nat, and Steve are dying to know where we are.”
I watch as my boyfriend’s fists bunch at his sides, desperate to find some calm.
“Darling,” he begins by raising his voice at me, “will you just try the bloody sweater on? For me?” He’s clearly not giving this up.
“If I try on the sweater, will you shut up and let us leave? So that maybe, I can begin our night of drinking and nachos sooner rather than later?”
He steps to the side, motioning towards to open trunk of the car. I don’t know why he keeps pushing this. It’s not like I don’t know my own body, or what fits me. Never that. I pull the black sweatshirt with gold lettering out from the back, unfolding it. Odinson. Loki took his adopted father’s surname after he passed almost two years ago. I bought him this sweater to commemorate it.
Huffing in annoyance, I gather my hair up and pull the fabric over my head and down my body. Turning to Loki, I give him a pissed off look while he watches me with an annoying smile.
“See, I told you it wouldn’t fit. Can we go now?”
“Doll, are you not seeing what I’m seeing?”
“What?” He takes his pointer finger, motioning down my body. I follow his lead, seeing something I never thought would happen. I gasp and tears begin to well in my eyes, but I choke them down. I don’t care if my mascara is waterproof, I’m not crying.
“It…it fits.” I’m in disbelief. This has never happened before.
Loki saunters over to me, incasing my body in his arms and resting his chin atop my head. His warmth cradles me, filling my body with heat and comfort. I’m engulfed in his scent : sandalwood, the slight smell of citrus, hints of leather, and lavender. It feels like home.
“Darling, I’m 6’4. I’m a giant. Don’t ever, ever doubt if something I own can fit you. You’re beautiful, in every size and shape. And I would do anything to make sure you’re reminded of that. Now come on, let’s go get wasted.”
He kisses the top of my head, before incasing my hand in his, stringing me back towards the building and party ahead.

Loki x fem! Hockey fan Reader
A little blurb I thought about that I wanted to write down so here we are. Basically Loki is kinda new to the tower and reader is in her room watching a game and Loki is curios.
Warnings: idk Loki in himself?
Note: I’m not a native English speaker so excuse any errors I’ll try my best, thanks!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Most evenings when everyone was home would be spent together wether it be playing games, watching a movie or just hanging out. Since Loki arrived a while ago he would be in his room or lately he’d been watching from a distance smirking at comments that amused him but he started to notice that Y/N were absent more often lately. Not that he cared for some silly midgardian he was just very observant, at least that’s what he tried to tell himself. This particular evening the others were watching a movie and the common space were unusually quiet, that’s why he now could hear distant shouts every now and then. The others didn’t seem to take notice of this which peaked his interest, and concern, even more since Y/N was the only one missing. They were supposed to be earth’s protectors but they couldn’t hear what was going on down the hall?
What he didn’t know was that the others were used to game nights where they would sometimes hear cheers and boo’s, sometimes not, but could always tell the end results when you came from your room. If the right team won you’d be cheerful and join the others, if not you’d grumpily make a snack and sit down in annoyed silence until the feeling of loosing eased up a bit.
After some time and a few more shouts his curiosity grew to big and he decided to leave the group to see what was going on. Besides if something were wrong what would a man with a frisbee or his brother do about it that he couldn’t handle better? When he came closer to your door he walked as quietly at possible, which came quite naturally being the god of mischief and all. He finally stood outside your door when he heard a loud gasp and a “NOO!!” He acted fast, swung open the door and bursted in ready to throw a dagger at any intruder may be. Instead he saw you sitting on your bed in front of the unnecessary big TV in a big jersey with your favorite player’s name and number in shock that someone had bursted through your door and also Loki of all people. You liked him and had grown close to him in the last few weeks, and to be honest you had developed a crush on him, but you didn’t expect him to come in like this.
“Loki? What are you doing?”
“What are you doing shouting like that?” His voice was raised and he was seemingly in as big a shock as you were. “I thought someone had entered and... and what in the gods are you wearing?” He lost his riled up words when he saw that you were wearing only the shirt and pajama shorts. He felt flustered but also intrigued even though he didn’t show it much, instead putting on more of a poker face.
You saw his eyes travel from your eyes to your exposed legs and felt a blush creeping up your neck. “I...” you lost the words when you saw his almost hypnotic eyes return to meet yours. You instead changed the subject to try to avoid the tension that had settled in the air. “It’s game night!” You said.
Loki couldn’t help but smile at the pure glee in your voice. “A night of with game?” He asked and stepped forward, closing the door behind him.
“Hockey, Loki. You don’t have that on Asgard?” You chuckled already knowing the answer.
He picked up on the jokingly tone. “We most certainly don’t but do enlighten me, darling”
The nickname made your chest tingle but you pushed it away and motioned for him to sit down. You began explaining the rules, which team you were rooting for and some of the latest game results.
While he listened to how you with such passion described almost everything about the sport he felt a warmth in his chest. The way your eyes sparkled and the melody of your voice. He would occasionally look at the screen when you pointed out your favorite player and what position every team member had but when he had the chance he would steal glances of your profile in admiration.
You watched the rest of the game together. When the final buzzer signaled the end of the game your team had lost. You looked to Loki with a dramatic pouting of your lower lip but you felt unusually content with the night even though you lost the game. Loki laughed slightly at your loosing face but softly put a hand on your cheek to cheer you up. This made you melt of his touch.
“Should we join the others?” He asked in an attempt to not show too much of how he had grown fond of you yet.
You felt a little sad that the time together with Loki was ending but also felt your cravings for a snack. “Yeah, I guess we should”. As you walked through the hallway you looked to him. “You know there’s another game tomorrow, do you want to watch it with me?” He beamed at your question. “I would like that very much, darling”
Liar Liar - Bucky x Reader
Summary: “It’s not what it looks like!”
Series Warnings/Themes: Nothing triggering. cussing.
Author’s Note: ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Happy December!
Y/N = Your Name
There’s that moment when you know something’s up.
His steel-blue eyes have a mischievous glint to them as he turns his head away. He’s been caught red-handed, and he doesn’t give a shit.
“Are you kidding me, Buck?!”
He feigns innocence. “It’s not what it looks like!” he shouts back at you, holding his hands up in surrender. Your eyes squint at him and then you drag your focus down to his hands.
“It’s exactly what it looks like! I smell bullshit, soldier. Cough it up.”
You glared up at him, holding out your hand. He releases a dramatic sigh, shooting you a look of shame. He drops what is enclosed in his grip onto your hand and leans back in his chair, ready for the chastising.
“$150?!” you snap. He winces at your tone and shrugs his shoulders.
“I can’t believe you would stoop this low.” You clench your fists in anger. This was absurd.
“Steve!”
Bucky’s eyes widen in fear. “No, no, no. Anything but him!” he shouts, bringing his metal hand over your mouth to muffle your talking. He’s in for it now. The Captain was a man of justice, and he would not let this crime slide.
There were not many things during the year that could make you as excited as Christmas time. Everything about this time of year brought you such joy, The snow on the ground (Unless you were driving), the lights and trinkets that decorated various houses on streets and open roads, and the smells that distinguished December from the rest of the months on the calendar.
A bonus that added to your excitement was the fact you got to spend another year with the love of your life during the time you enjoyed the most. To be able to spend time doing the things you loved, with the person you loved, filled your soul with such happiness and you owed it all to one man. You and your best friend, Bucky Barnes have been dating for five years now, and each year was always better than the last.
Socks (Loki x Reader)
Synopsis: The holidays and an empty apartment can lead to some very frustrating results.
Words: 1068
Warnings: swearing, sexual themes
**GIF not mine**
You were curled up in one of the arm chairs in the living room. The TV was playing a movie, something easy to follow. The tower was almost empty, everyone out doing things while the weather was still good enough for it. You had forgone leaving the tower, choosing to snuggle up and keep warm. You’d already baked some gingerbread cookies and were waiting for them to cool so you could ice them.
While you waited you’d pulled out your knitting. You’d been working on a pair of socks for months now, your skill level making it difficult. You’d chosen a beautiful emerald green wool and were trying not to mess up too badly. You’d managed to finish one sock, and were currently working on its pair. It was going as well as could be expected.
You’d already had to undo all of your work once today but now it was finally beginning to resemble a sock. You were knitting, watching the movie, waiting for the time to pass, and you were enjoying the silence in the usually busy apartment.
“What are you doing here all alone, pet?” a familiar voice asked from behind you.
Cracker Jacks and kiss cams
Summary: A story in which Bucky Barnes is very smitten, there’s a baseball game between the New York Mets and the Chicago Cubs, and Cracker Jacks are consumed.
Prompt: “I never thought you’d break my heart” Characters: Bucky Barnes x Reader Warnings: None. A bit of language maybe, but this is all just sappy fluff.
A/N: This is my submission for @just-some-drabbles Rom-Com writing challenge, thanks for letting me join last minute and congratulations on reaching 4k! This story came about because I really love baseball, I really love the Chicago Cubs, and I really love Bucky Barnes, so all in all, it felt like a win-win.
“Hocus Pocus!” Wanda screamed excitedly as she held up the DVD with the three witches on the cover.
Natasha set the bowl of popcorn on the bed and glared at her. Wanda seemed unaffected as she looked at you with a hopeful smile.
“We’re not watching that,” Natasha said, snatching the DVD out of her hands. “It’s Halloween, we should watch something like Saw or Insidious.”
“Um, I vote for Hocus Pocus,” you told her. Wanda held up her hand for a high five while Natasha stared daggers at you. “Sorry, Nat, but when the movie’s over you two will go back to your dorms and I’ll be alone since Sharon decided to spend the night with Steve.”
