the thing I’ve been teasing for quite a while now (I mean maybe no one remembers but if you do great!!) IS HERE

so a while ago, I made a post saying that it was sad there weren’t any SS ask blogs. Well then, @godofmagnets showed interest in starting an ask blog. so, after much debate on who we would do it for, I posted on my blog asking y’all to name a random SS character, and then we picked from those. I saw @mjf-af​ put this out and wanted to do it too!

1. How did you first see back to the future?

It was playing on this kids channel one day when I was little, because they had a saturday night blockbuster movie every week that I would tune into after supper. I caught it about halfway through, but was so into it at the time that my parents got me the rest of the trilogy on VHS from blockbuster (that is... a dated phrase) and we watched all of them back to back to back. It’s been one of my favourite movies and franchises ever since, but quarantine made me rediscover it with a vengeance.

2. Who’s your favorite character besides Marty or Doc?

Oh god, oh fuck, uhh... Martin Jr. He’s just trying his best, stop being so mean to him. Caricature of what I was like at 15-17, though. That’s not even a self-roast, it’s just a self-read.

3. If you could own one prop from the trilogy what would it be?

HO.VER.BOARD. Or Marty’s guitar. Oh, to kick an amp over while playing an improv rendition of Johnny B. Goode on that guitar... king behaviour

4. Has a friend ever called up you late at night to go on an adventure?

I’ve been dragged out of bed at 2am by my drunk friends howling my name at my dorm room window to go get dumplings, if that counts.

5. The Terrorists are stopping for a Whopper before driving to kill Doc and you are the cashier at the Burger King drive-thru window. How do you stall them.

I harness my theatre training and acting experience to portray a flawless show of continuous order mishearing at the window and a string of payment processing issues at the counter

6. His life is literally on the line and Marty can’t run that fast.

7. Can you run faster than Marty

OH FUCK I just implied that. Fam I was in a west end production of Newsies I could cartwheel faster than he could run

8. What were your parents doing when they were your current age?

Parenting a terrible 2 year-old. Deadass, I’m older than they were when I happened to them.

9. Do you have a favorite diner?

Not so much a diner, but there’s this one place back where I grew up called Zerat Lebnan that I would disintegrate for, their food’s so good. I used to be able to scarf down like 4 of their shawarmas in a single sitting after school, and the guy at the outside window knew me and my order in advance and everything, but that was when I hadn’t finished puberty and also they were a dollar a shawarma. Then the fucking tourists discovered it and now it’s expensive as all hell and I can’t eat 4 shawarmas in one go any more.

10. What do you think Marty’s pajamas look like
